realistically, i know fur cannot tan. but in my heart i believe vasco would love to sunbathe and would develop an even warmer golden brown from it, while machete would turn pink-red from merely going outside for more than 10 minutes
.
#Vasco has that sunkissed aura to him and I'd love it if he was able to tan visibly#Machete is very sensitive to the sun and will burn if he's outside for too long on a sunny day#mostly on the spots where the fur is thinnest like his ears and snout#it's not like he combusts immediately but it's just easier for him to avoid the midday heat if he can#answered#anonymous#modern Machete knows that albinism comes with a significant risk of developing skin cancer and is used to taking preventative measures#it's a good thing he likes high coverage clothing#most dogs don't need sunscreen and being covered in fur complicates things but if he knows he'll be outdoors for longer than a brief moment#he will put some on his ears and nose to protect them

i need to remake my cup bros ref… both cup and human designs… it’s been almost a year(?) and i’ve developed the headcanons and i would like to share with the class!!! (i wrote thirty tags. Please help me)
#my little hc i kinda showed in the refs but didn’t point out: cuphead’s handle appears broken/in human form his ear is halved#cause he has microtia (that also affects the eustachiantube/middle ear). basically i am a HoH cuphead truther#also to add onto that i think he has poor auditory processing issues cause i also see him as AuDHD#double also. while he would use ASL on a bad hearing day i think regularly he also uses home signs to express words/concepts#autism-related btw. it’s actually a bit visible in insert cuphead media (to me at least LOL) that cuphead expresses a lot of body language#so not liking conversation oral or signed as well as replacing oral words w home signs is in character. at least to my headcanon whatever#floats your boat!#OH! plus his split upper lip that i draw him with isn’t related to the microtia. he just roughhouses and chipped/tore his lip open when he#was younger#cuphead is also a trans boy. it feels right to me LOL#even back in 2017 when i barely knew the game or also much about trans people i saw cuphead and was like hm. hm!#tbh he just pawned his clothes onto mugman. who i’ve also changed my hc for i see him more as bigender than a cis boy now#LOL. i cast bi on mugman. sorry buddy#OH HIM TOO. im so sorry mugsy i have like two headcanons for you 😭😭😭#she uses he/she 2 me. i like casting personal parts of myself onto mugman even if i gravitate more towards cuphead/chalice#i see him as a bi ace as well. and a hopeless romantic. i don’t ship uhh i don’t remember what it’s called#i don’t ship cala maria X mugman (respect though) cause i see the cups as kids and i’m also a hilda X maria shipper LOL#but in the show. i will be real that she is a hopeless romantic. Look at that dork#FORGOT TO MENTION. i am a cuphead aroace truther to my grave. KEEP THAT MUSHY ROMANCE OUT OF MY HIGH SEAS ADVENTURE!!!!#like i said w cuphead before mugman is AuDHD (they share. many genes LMFAO)#however the difference is that they express it in different ways; while cuphead’s is more linked to his hearing/social behavior#mugman’s is more related to her emotions. i see it through my headcanon colored glasses that especially in the show mugman has more#meltdowns between the two cups#he has high emotional sensitivity both in positive and negative ways; former as in being strongly attached to cuphead and latter as in#more prone to meltdowns as well as being very literal#which isn’t a bad thing of course. mugman we are shaking hands so hard we are the same#OK that’s all the ones i want to share right now. i also haven’t shared her human or cup design i did but i’m workshopping chalice!!!!!!#i am leaving her out intentionally she deserves her own post because i luv her so much#ok post over. twenty minutes dedicated to autism about the twins out of the trio#cuphead

Ah the wonders of bag lining
#I'm plotting out how I'll be constructing my cloak/poncho for my Siffrin cosplay#And lemme tell ya I WILL be making myself a step-by-step guide because I apparently decided to make this difficult#Mainly by wanting as little visible seams as possible#AND wanting to have the collar section be a separate piece from the main cloak body (Imagine a turtleneck for reference)#AND embroidered constellation stitching on the inner bottom hem#With probably two different fabric types (Darkless wool on the outside and lightless cotton/silk if affordable on the inside)#With preferably the lining having a speckled patterning to mimic the night sky#I have high ambitions and don't know how to work a sewing machine so we'll see how it goes#But I CAN hand stitch. I'll probably be making like 15 prototypes first since I do want this to be a functional clothing piece#Both in and outside of cosplay#Now Siffrin's hat? Man I don't want to think about that rn other than it'll probably involve either horsehair or copious amounts of wire#ramblings about nothing/everything

Best Practices for Protecting Road Construction Workers

I fucking hate how fat acceptance is so conditional. Your size is valid so long as you aren’t lazy. Your size is valid so long as you aren’t gluttonous. Your size is valid so long as you have curves in all the right places. Your size is valid so long as you aren’t too fat, because well, it has to be unhealthy at a certain point, right? Your size is valid so long as you’re hyperfeminine/hypermasc so we can’t degender you. Your size is valid so long as you put as much effort into your appearance and makeup as possible while skinny people get to barely even try. Your size is valid so long as you wear these specific articles of clothing that hide your rolls and curves, because nobody wants to see those, freak. Your size is valid so long as you’re conventional enough to just be another doll in the assembly line.
#.txt#i cannot stress that clothing bit enough#high-waisted pants being the current trend after the fad of low-waisted jeans in the 2000s is not a fucking coincidence.#in the 2000s women in low-waisted jeans would be mocked for their ‘muffin tops’ and for having visible fat. even thin women.#they are used to hide your waist. they are used to hide your rolls.#because as much as people wanna pretend we’ve made progress in fat acceptance: no the fuck we have not#people are still uncomfortable with having fat and rolls and being Human and the current fashion trends reflect that.#have you ever noticed that so called ‘diverse’ fashion/lingerie ads have a limit to how fat of a person they can have on screen?#whens the last time you’ve seen a fat person online that didn’t wear high-waisted bottoms?#this is okay to reblog by the way

had an "oh it's me" gender moment when I saw myself in the mirror just now cause it's finally warm enough to wear t-shirts again :)
#idk it's like. cause during the winter I'm more concerned with being warm than what anything looks like#so i think i kinda get into some more gendered clothing accidentally or idk it's just more visible with long sleeve styles#but t-shirts are just t-shirts. you can't fuck up a plain and simple t-shirt#it just feels a little more in line with my gender cause really it doesn't have to have any gender at all#anyways i will be riding this high for the rest of the day <3#megan.txt

Hi Vis Work Shirts for Safety and Comfort
When it comes to workplace safety, one of the most essential items to ensure visibility and protection is a hi vis work shirt. Whether you're working on a construction site, in the rail industry, or as a tradie on various job sites, wearing a Hi Vis shirt is crucial for both your safety and compliance. In this blog, we’ll explore the different types of Hi Vis work shirts available for both men and women, including options for various industries, styles, and features. We'll also discuss how to choose the right shirt based on your needs and where you can purchase them.
What Are Hi Vis Work Shirts?
Hi Vis work shirts are specifically designed to increase visibility in low-light or hazardous environments. These shirts feature bright, high-contrast colors such as orange, yellow, and even pink, which are paired with reflective strips to ensure workers are easily seen by others, especially in environments where safety is paramount.
For those working in construction, rail, or any manual labor job, these shirts help prevent accidents, making it easier for vehicles, machinery operators, and fellow workers to spot you in all conditions. High visibility workwear is often mandated by safety regulations to ensure worker protection, and many shirts are compliant with the AS/NZS 4602:1:2011 standard, ensuring they meet high safety requirements.
Types of Hi Vis Work Shirts
1. Long Sleeve Hi Vis Shirts
Long sleeve Hi Vis shirts are designed to offer maximum protection, especially in outdoor work environments. They are a great choice for those working in the construction or rail industries where additional protection from the elements is necessary. The long sleeves help protect your arms from the sun, abrasions, and other environmental hazards.
Many long sleeve Hi Vis shirts are made from lightweight, breathable cotton, making them comfortable to wear even in warmer conditions. Some models feature ventilation panels to enhance airflow and keep you cool while maintaining your safety.
2. Short Sleeve Hi Vis Shirts
Short sleeve Hi Vis shirts are a popular option for those working in warmer climates or indoor environments. They offer all the visibility features you need while keeping you cooler during hot days. They are a common choice for tradies, rail workers, and construction workers who need flexibility and comfort.
Just like long sleeve shirts, short sleeves are available in bright orange and yellow colors, ensuring high visibility during daylight hours or in low light conditions. Some models also feature additional reflective stripes to meet the High Vis Day Night Garment standard.
3. Colors of Hi Vis Shirts: Orange, Yellow, and Pink
Orange Hi Vis Shirts: These are typically the most common for construction workers and those working in outdoor environments. The bright orange color helps workers stand out, even in low visibility situations like fog or dusk.
Yellow Hi Vis Shirts: Often used in a variety of industries, especially in environments where workers need to be clearly seen from a distance. The yellow variant is highly reflective and visible from a far distance, making it a great option for those working near heavy machinery.
Pink Hi Vis Shirts: A newer trend in high visibility clothing, pink Hi Vis shirts are becoming more popular among women working in construction and trades. These shirts offer the same high visibility as orange and yellow, but the color choice adds a more personalized, stylish touch. Pink Hi Vis shirts are perfect for those looking for a balance of safety, style, and comfort.
Hi Vis Shirts for Men & Women
Men’s Hi Vis Shirts
Men working in industries such as construction, mining, rail, and roadworks will find a range of Hi Vis shirts specifically tailored to their needs. These shirts come in both long sleeve and short sleeve versions, in colors like orange, yellow, and sometimes even pink. They’re designed to ensure comfort, safety, and durability, with reinforced stitching to withstand heavy-duty work environments.
Women’s Hi Vis Shirts
Traditionally, Hi Vis workwear has been designed for men, but more and more options are available for women in the workplace. Women’s Hi Vis shirts are tailored to provide a better fit, often featuring a more flattering cut without sacrificing safety or durability. Many companies now offer pink Hi Vis options, providing women with more color choices while ensuring the same level of safety. These shirts are made from the same high-quality materials as the men’s versions, ensuring maximum comfort and visibility.
Conclusion:
When you’re looking for the best Hi Vis work shirts, it’s essential to choose a retailer that offers high-quality, compliant garments. One trusted online store that offers a wide range of Hi Vis work shirts for both men and women is Work Armour. They stock a wide variety of lightweight cotton shirts in all the safety colors you need, including orange, yellow, and pink, with features like reflective stripes and high UPF ratings. Their shirts comply with AS/NZS 4602:1:2011 and High Vis Day Night Garment standards, ensuring you stay safe while working in demanding environments.
