The audio is from Cathy Malchiodi's TED talk, and the music is from Ramin Djawadi from Pacific Rim (the same composer from Game of Thrones), Steve Jablonsky from the movie Ender's game, and James Newton Howard from Blood Diamond, and Thomas Newman from Shawshank Redemption. I do not own the material, or have specific permission to make a profit from this piece. So I am offering this up to the public for educational purposes and honoring the people involved, especially the servicemen and women. No financial benefit will be allowed to come in from this video. Município cearense anuncia construção de nova fábrica com previsão de gerar 500 empregos
A Coopershoes, que produz os tênis da marca Converse AllStar, pretende construir uma nova fábrica no município de Morada Nova, no Ceará, o investimento aplicado na nova fábrica é de até R$ 20 milhões. A mesma foi fundada no ano de 1998 no Rio Grande do Sul, e é uma das maiores fabricantes de calçados da América Latina. O Grupo Coopershoes possui ainda outra fábrica no Ceará, em Quixeré, sob a marca Top Shoes. Há unidades também na Argentina e no Rio Grande do Sul onde se encontra a matriz.

Na construção da nova fábrica da Coopershoes serão gerados inicialmente 500 empregos, a empresa destaca que esse número pode ser elevado durante os anos. A previsão para construção da nova fábrica é até 2023, porém sem definição por hora, ainda serão detalhados os cronogramas e abertura das vagas de emprego para início das obras. A nova fábrica que terá como foco o setor de corte e costura, será construída no distrito de Aruaru, Ceará.
“Todo novo empreendimento industrial em Morada Nova é bem-vindo e uma demonstração de que o município é uma terra de grandes oportunidades. Fico feliz pela geração de empregos e renda às famílias moradanovenses que fábricas como esta conseguirão gerar”, diz o prefeito do município de Morava, no Ceará, Wanderley Nogueira.

A fabricante já tem uma fábrica operante no município de Morada Nova, no Ceará, a unidade já emprega cerca de 4 mil colaboradores, onde são fabricados os tênis All Star, modelo muito usado por pessoas de diversas idades e regiões, a estimativa é que 95% da produção nacional do modelo vem das fábricas do Ceará. Nesse ano estipula-se que seja fabricado mais de 5 milhões de pares do calçado da marca.
O gerente-geral da empresa para o Nordeste, Laércio Drebes, comentou em conversa que o planejamento para construção da nova fábrica conta com um investimento entre R$ 15 e R$ 20 milhões. E destacou ainda que, em torno de 95% da produção nacional do modelo All Star é produzida em município do Ceará, para o ano que vem, é estipulado cerca de 5 milhões de pares a serem produzidos. Mesmo sofrendo com os intemperes por conta da pandemia, a empresa vê um cenário animador para este e o próximo ano.
“Tendência �� termos um 2022 igual ou até melhor ao período pré-pandemia. O primeiro semestre (deste ano) foi muito bom”, avalia Drebes.
A economia de Morada Nova
A economia do município gira em torno dos serviços terciários e seguida pela indústria, que consequentemente é seguida pela agropecuária. Onde há cultivo de milho, banana, caju, algodão, mandioca e afins. Foram registrados mais de 1 mil preenchimentos de novas vagas de empregos formais, e mais de 1 mil de desligamentos, o que resultou em um saldo de 278 novos trabalhadores.
O município conta com mais de 8 mil empregos com carteira assinada, a ocupação predominante destes trabalhadores é a função de trabalhador multifuncional da produção de calçados, seguido de professor e de auxiliar de escritório.
A remuneração nesses empregos formais do município em média é de R$ 1,4 mil, o que é um valor abaixo da média do estado, de R$ 2,1 mil. A concentração de renda entre as classes econômicas do município pode ser considerada alta e é relativamente superior à média estadual.
