The yearly Godzilla party hat! This year in two different versions because playing with levels sliders I liked both!

I decided on a personal theme of appreciation for Godzilla’s impact on architecture in Tokyo. He gets a lot of credit for knocking buildings down, so let’s give him some credit for inspiring these structures to be built.

I’ll be at Godzilla Festival at Hibiya Square on November 3 this year!! And also at Godzilla Expo Osaka a few days later! And I’m also going to go to the theme park on Awaji Island! Happy Godzilla Day!!!

Y/N, a classical violinist with dreams as vast as the night sky, had just finished their performance at a quaint little theater in Tokyo. Exhausted but fulfilled, they decided to take a late-night stroll through Hibiya Park, their violin case slung over their shoulder.

On the other side of the city, Akaashi, a manga editor with a penchant for spontaneous adventures, was wandering aimlessly. After a long day of editing and coffee, he needed a break from the pages and the monotony of his routine. The quiet serenity of Hibiya Park at night was calling to him, so he hopped on his bike and headed toward the park.

As fate would have it, they both arrived at the same bench by the pond, the one with a view of the city skyline shimmering in the distance. Y/N, lost in thought, didn't notice Akaashi until he sat down beside them, his breath heavy from the ride. They looked up, surprised to see someone else out at this hour.

"Beautiful night, isn't it?" Akaashi said, trying to catch his breath and break the silence.

"Yes, it is," Y/N replied softly, their voice carrying a hint of melody. "I come here to think after my performances."

"A musician?" Akaashi asked, curious.

"A violinist," Y/N confirmed with a nod.

They sat in silence for a while, each lost in their own thoughts, listening to the gentle lapping of the water against the shore. The city, though just a few blocks away, felt like a distant memory in the quiet of the park.

A week passed before they saw each other again. This time, it was in a coffee shop near the theater where Y/N often played. They were waiting for their order, flipping through their sheet music, when they noticed someone familiar at the counter. It was Akaashi, staring intently at the menu, clearly struggling to make a decision.

"Try the caramel macchiato," Y/N suggested, a smile playing on their lips.

Akaashi turned, surprised to see them. "Hey, it's the musician from the park! What a coincidence. Caramel macchiato, huh? I'll give it a shot."

They ended up sharing a table, talking about everything from music and editing manga to their dreams and fears. Akaashi was fascinated by Y/N’s dedication to their craft, and Y/N found Akaashi’s passion for his work and his spontaneity refreshing. Despite their differences, they felt an inexplicable connection, as if they had known each other for years.

As they finished their coffee, Akaashi asked, "Would you like to go for a walk? There's this amazing bookstore just around the corner."

Y/N agreed, and they spent the afternoon browsing through dusty old books and sharing their favorite passages. The hours flew by, and when they finally parted ways, both felt a pang of longing, as if they were leaving something important behind.

Over the next few weeks, Y/N and Akaashi began seeing each other more often. They explored the city together, finding hidden gems in the most unexpected places—a rooftop garden, a tiny jazz bar, a mural alley bursting with color. Each outing brought them closer, their conversations flowing easily, filled with laughter and shared secrets.

One evening, after another successful performance, Y/N invited Akaashi to their apartment. They wanted to play something special for him, a piece they had been working on for weeks. As they drew the bow across the strings, the music filled the room, a hauntingly beautiful melody that spoke of longing and hope.

That kiss was the start of something beautiful. They became inseparable, their lives intertwined like the notes of a symphony. They traveled together, created memories, and built a life filled with love, laughter, and music.

Years passed, and their love only deepened. Y/N’s career flourished, and Akaashi found success in his field, but their greatest achievement was the life they had built together. They moved into a cozy apartment overlooking the park where they first met, filling it with books, music, and warmth.

On their fifth anniversary, Akaashi surprised Y/N with a gift they would never forget. He had composed a piece of music for them, a blend of classical and modern, representing their journey from strangers to lovers. As Y/N listened to the music, tears filled their eyes, overwhelmed by the love and thoughtfulness behind every note.

beach day episode mekakushi dan. which ones dont know how to swim??? (obligatory seto and momo joke) AND/OR who is afraid of the water?

HMMMM well of course seto and momo are afraid of it. i think they try to shrug it off and do a lot of Sand Activities ignoring that they're afraid. momo takes a bazillion selfies at the shore and screams when she gets splashed. i think guys like takane and kano would be a threat to them bc they have the Water Guns and now The Water Is On Ground and it freaks them out❤️

i think hibiya&hiyori are great swimmers idk why. i think theyre the kinda kids to spend every single summer at the beach, so they give WATER DOMINATING lessons to seto and momo, to get over their fear and also teach them to swim.

ayano kido and kano are fine in the water i think the tateyamas for sure had summer vacations at the beach ❤️ its not seto's first time in the beach, he probably used to stay on ground back then too.

oh u asked who would be afraid. ERMMM other than seto and momo i dont think anyone's scared. as for who doesn't know how to swim, mary. mary definitely never went to the beach or even a pool like Man i get so emotional with mary bc she never ever went anywhere in her life, and then when she moved in with the mekatrio she is also described as a shut in. but despite that she isn't unwilling to go out and was super excited about the amusement park, and there she was SUPER serious about visiting every single attraction... so personally i think that despite she's described as a shut in (kido and kano probably didnt go out a whole bunch either) i like to think the 4 of them went places together. not like the beach or even a restaurant but they probably have gone to a park and stuff idk

anyways that said, mary is suddenly seeing in real life things she's only seen in pictures/tv and read of!!! imagine her first time seeing the OCEAN!!!! thats gotta be so exciting!!! considering her attitude she'd be totally over the moon and would wanna learn how to swim IMMEDIATELY. tbh she'd be clumsy but probably has a pool float yknow the ones that are like a donut and ur inside chilling and playing from there. i think thats what she'd do!!! shes disappointed seto can't join in and that rly motivates him to try to get in the water. if he doesn't manage she definitely comes out the water to build sand castles with him and take a walk to pick up seashells :3

others who can't swim are a classic. shintaro and haruka. I'd also say takane but while i do think she was mostly kept away from sports and stuff i THINK takane Can swim, i don't think she skipped swimming lessons during elementary/middle school. so she's like. Ok at it. she's also rly excited about water guns and chasing YOU CHASING YOU CHASING YOU CHASING YOU CHASING Y

shintaro on the other hand can't swim, iirc this is canon cuz momo wanted to go on her trip with her dad to learn to swim Super good and then teach shintaro. ofc this didnt happen Lol and we know shintaro is the opposite of a sporty person so yea he also can't swim. in fact i think he just stays off the water and inside the tent with his phone. he hates it here its hot and he has sand in his ass he wants to go home. ayano keeps trying to drag him in the water 💔💔💔 i imagine ayano getting out the water like soaking wet with her hair all sticky and her eyelashes dripping with water like. VERY LITTLE KID ASKING YOU TO PLAY MERMAIDS WITH THEM ENERGY and goes to get shintaro and he's like AUGGHHH AYANO GET OUT YOURE GETTING WATER INSIDE THE TENT and ayano's breathing heavily like COME PLAY

i think shintaro ends up falling on the water on his stomach and face at least once and he's all icky about tasting the salty water. also takane definitely shoots him and he's DEFINITELY wearing a shirt so his shirt gets all soaked and he's so mad about it. on a more wholesome note i think he'd probably start a huge sand castle cuz hes bored and it gets RIDICULOUSLY huge and it looks amazing. people keep gathering to take pics of it. he probably wins some sand castle contest he didn't even know they were holding and makes a bunch of 10 year olds building castles with their dads rly upset

as for haruka. he DEFINITELY never swam😭 but i think haruka is just the kind to dip his feet in the water and sit there like Ah...effervescent..... while wearing a huge fucking hat to protect his paper white skin from the sun. ratio + takane shoots him with water gun + ayano splashes water on him begging him to get in the water. im describing ayano and takane as such menaces to poor haruka and shintaro but i think that's how it'd be. haruka is out of his comfort zone and excited but wants to take it easy, shintaro doesnt wanna be here AT ALL while takane and ayano are like OK WE ARE PLAYING THOUGH :3 SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH

kido can swim but i think they share this sentiment with haruka. they both kinda wanna chill at the shore with their big ass hats is that too much to ask (it is) (everyone attacks them) i think haruka also gets excited abt the water guns eventually. i think he and takane go a little crazy on each other with those. in my vision kano and takane are annoying everyone with the water guns and when kano gets bored and goes do something else haruka takes his place but instead of attacking anyone else he attacks takane. fatal mistake. they both end up like my ayano description from earlier. little kids dripping water after swimming for 2 hours energy. when kido loses their chilling by the shore buddy to takane they probably go see what's up with momo and seto cuz thats their gf and brother they wanna help..

UMMM i kinda talked about everyone even if they could or couldnt swim lol. ayano and kano are left ermmm ayano like i said A fucking menace it is her goal to get everyone in the water at once (except seto and momo cuz she gets it) and she probably wants to do beach volleyball or some shit everyone sucks at later. she's the Game Organizer. probably her idea to go to the beach. and she's playing mermaids with mary so much. SO MUCH

and kano is kinda everywhere i think. he's in the tent bothering shintaro. he's with hibiya and hiyori trying to get momo and seto in the water. he's with takane terrorizing haruka and kido with water guns. he's with mary and ayano playing in the water pretending to be a shark to freak out mary (he cant use deceiving cuz ayano wont let him since anyone else at the beach could get freaked out but he DOES keep going underwater and pinches mary's legs to scare her)

Here’s a copy and paste rant from months ago!! I did this rant on a discord server so it’s pretty messy…

TW: mentions of su!cide And abuse

I don’t even know how to start but like the representation of mental health in Kagepro is amazing. I’ll start this off with like Jin doesn’t directly tell you “hey this character has this” but you just know the character has it. With Kano you know he has a compulsive lying disorder (along with some other things) because of how his music video represents it and the lyrics to his song + all the events and feelings he went through in the 5th LN. You actually get a representation (at least I haven’t seen this in like any other series) of being abused physically and emotionally, kanos mom used to abuse him physically, but a couple hours later come back crying and apologizing and it would repeat, but he didn’t think it was her fault and he loved her so much. It was only mentioned like twice in the LNs and he was really little when it happened but it’s still such a strong form of a lot of abuse that happens, not just the “I abuse my child, I feel no regret and my child hates me” type thing. Then Kano blaming himself so much for ayanos death he blames someone else for it (this ties in with survivors guilt kinda.) he also deals with getting manipulated….I can rant on abt kano but there’s other characters. We’ll go with Shintaro, obviously it’s known he has depression that’s just like there, but the representation of trauma he gets is SO GOOD. Again Jin doesn’t just go like “hey Shintaro has trauma.” But you just know he does because of the amount of representation. LTM he gets a couple of flashbacks to things, but things that aren’t just like “haha trauma is only abuse and witnessing something horrifying”. LTM and Shintaro represent that perfectly, and also him blaming himself for Ayanos suicide (survivors guilt/just guilt that comes along with trauma). Then also getting nightmares from trauma, like even if a lot of them are just Yaki talking to him in his dreams it’s still such a good representation. Also him pushing everything else away just to not forget Ayano. In the LNR Kano turns into Ayano, all the feelings Shintaro once had when he was with Ayano before came back, and he was afraid she hated him. I can go more on Shintaro but again other characters. Momo having a craving for attention when she was little because Shintaro was so much more intelligent than her. Even though she had parents who loved them both equally, she still felt not good enough, mostly mentioned in mr2, but she directly tells Shintaro she’s going to learn how to swim before him so she can be better than him in something, while not having a hateful feeling towards Shintaro. Then also mentioned in mr2 and the anime she has survivors guilt, thinking it was her fault her dad died. Then Seto in the LN route. Because he wanted to protect someone or not let go of someone so much he ended up trying to neglect and forget everyone else he loves, him thinking what if no one loved him all this time, basically running away from all his problems, and at the end of the route scared everyone would be mad at him for feeling the way he was feeling. In mr2 Seto felt helpless saying it was always like this and he can’t do anything to help, basically blaming himself for not being able to help anyone. He’s such a mess in the LNR I love him sm…..

Hibiya obviously has trauma and survivors guilt. In Otsukimi Recital he has tons of flashbacks even when he’s trying to be cheered up. Going to the park but getting flashbacks to Hiyori at the park, seeing Momo pet a cat and getting flashbacks to Hiyori petting the cat, etc. Blaming himself for not being able to save Hiyori as Hiyoris still “dead” and stuck in a loop.

Ayano with loneliness as seen in additional memory. She’s alone in the daze, and she misses everyone. But she KNOWS she had to do it, she sacrificed her health for everyone else’s even though she had to watch it do nothing in the end.

Ayano So desperately wishes to be the person everyone relies on, she loathes in it. If she can’t save anyone, what’s the point of her being there in the first place?

Haruka and Takane deal with diseases. Takane has a sleeping disorder and it makes her faint randomly, can be fatal. Haruka has a disease (most likely a heart disease) that is very fatal.

Haruka deals with things like wanting to be stronger because of his illness, feeling that sense of loneliness because he can’t physically be strong enough to do certain things, and having to visit the hospital frequently. But he wants to be himself (shown in anime.) In mr2 he deals with loneliness as everyone at school ignores him, he doesn’t have any friends but he still tries to be happy. In the hospital he finally makes a friend, he meets Takane. Takane has to leave but Haruka is stuck in the hospital due to his illness, but later Shintaro is taken to the hospital and Haruka becomes really good friends with him. But he has frequent nightmares abt Takane.

Takane deals with bottling up her emotions and feelings, she also deals with survivors guilt, thinking it’s her fault Haruka died. She was so caught up in her own pride she ignored him, she didn’t notice when he passed out from his illness. In mr2, she also doesn’t have any friends until Haruka. she deals with jealousy as well. She comes back after leaving the hospital to visit Haruka, even bringing gifts with her. But she sees Haruka and Shintaro playing video games together and laughing and stuff (btw she introduced Haruka to video games and played them all the time with him). She ran out of the hospital jealous and ended up committing su!cide

Even tho Ene is the same person as Takane, she deals with way different things in route xx and mr2. In route xx, she does her absolute best to try and not let Shintaro commit suicide, she does her best to distract him and does everything she can. She has to bottle up everything with Haruka, and keep everything from Shintaro. She’s afraid if she even brings up that she used to know Shintaro, it’ll give Shintaro bad memories of Ayano and the past. Yet she STILL tries her best to make Shintaro happy and distract him. She ends up failing, getting deleted and watching Shintaro kill himself. Plus she has to deal with her teacher literally being the one planning their deaths like??? (Even tho it’s technically not her teacher but yeah). Then in mr2 she admits she was running away from all her problems to shintaro, and says that Shintaro saved her as much as she saved him. (Ene and Shintaro stuff makes me AUGH)
