hi friends! it’s a rainy saturday here for me so :) i’m probably going to spend the afternoon writing, creating some OCs that have been on my mind, editing some ATTDC chapters and possibly making moodboards (and giving my brain a rest from schoolwork for the first extended period of time in weeks !!)

oh my god, but can we please talk about famous rockstar!eddie and his need to have you by his side at all times? it's borderline annoying, really. like, going on tour? his manager better have rented a luxurious suite for the both of you to share!! and he always makes sure to order your favorite everything, just in case you want it while waiting backstage for him. though you might not hang out in the studio all the time, eddie's face lights up whenever you walk through the door just to give him a quick kiss and say hello to the rest of the band. and if you manage to do that on a particularly stressful day, it will be enough motivation for him not to scream at one of his bandmates and to keep going.

and don't even get me started on the idea of him wanting you to join his band...

✮ – He had gotten better at it, somewhat. Or that’s what he liked to say to himself when someone came close to his personal space, even more so if they touched him and that someone wasn’t Steve. Or Sam, for that matter. Sometimes it was a flinch, sometimes he’d move his shoulder and quickly apologize—he didn’t mean for anyone to take it personally. And some other times, he froze.

Today was one of those times. 

It took him a second to snap out of it and look up to meet Yelena’s eyes.

“Hey, sorry”, he greeted her and looked away as quickly as he met her eyes, perhaps avoiding them because he knew she might look too much into it and he wasn’t ready for a heart-to-heart conversation in the middle of a stake out. Or ever, in fact.

As a once-competing figure skater with the most ridiculous makeups ever, thank you for saying it! I noticed it in this photo n a few others and was like: GOAT IS OUT HERE LINING HIS WATERLINES OKAY!!! it made me happy to see someone else noticed! ✨🖤

i feel like you have to have undergone the torture of competitive stage makeup to truly understand the evil that is waterlines 😂 i used to hate lining them but i had to do it so often that my eyes just got used to it. worked in my favour though, i can wear contacts and dig pet hair out of my eyes (thanks, work lol) without a single issue

eyelash curlers are still my enemy though…

i mostly love that because the band is anonymous i can be weird and focus on tiny little details that i would probably otherwise look over. like waterlines😂 or the fact that vessel has turnout i would have killed to have in ballet

dating was something new for noah. when he had been introduced to benji he hadnt expected it to go very far. to his surprise things had took off and things had been- fun. noah had enjoyed hanging out with the other man and seemed to be doing it more and more. the more he hung with benji the more he had felt himself falling for him. however he had still never met the others friends or family and felt it a little strange. sure the two hadnt been officially together but noah had felt like they were getting pretty serious.

as the two sat at the diner he took a drink of his coffee. “my mum asked if she could meet you.” he murmured to the other a bit worried about his reaction as he sat the coffee down and looked up at him now. “i mean i had told her i was kinda seeing you and…”

It's nice to have fandom friends of your same age because then you can complain to them when the children say your fic is cringe because it's about old people (anyone over the age of 25) or when they tell you "people don't go grey that early" and we're talking about someone who is 29 with a sprinkling of grey and you (aka me) had greys at like 24 lol

Looking at the current economic/political situation between China and US and drawing parallels between the arms race you mentioned between Liyue and Snezhnaya... considering the minting of Mora requires the Geo gnosis... if Snezhnaya starts minting Mora, that would take a lot of commercial power away from Liyue Harbour. Given GI's rating they'll probably gloss over it but it's fun to think about the impact lol

That's what I've been saying in my head for a long-ass time, but the question remains of how that can happen. It's not like the gnoses are being actively used (with the funny puppet man as the exception) and if they aren't going to be, it would create a whole other crisis.

You see, mora is not only used for transactions but for alchemical methods, so inevitably with mora being taken out of circulation via said alchemy, business would be hurt anyway as businesses and retailers wouldn't be able to make these transactions. However, this could also signify the search for another currency in earnest or a return to barter. Either way, it would definitely cause some economic turmoil which would hurt the common folk the most.
