I felt very smart starting this list with 'Golden Brown' by The Stranglers and ending with 311's 'Amber'--it's fall colours!! And what leaves think it's fall have turned (there's still plenty that insist they've plenty of time to hold green here). I don't have much to say on this one - it feels like fall, all stops and starts and changes and unexpected blazes.

'Música da Lagoa' is a delight I encountered thanks to a Tumblr post, the video of it being played in a river/pond is a joy.

I listened to 'He Needs Me' several times before I realised that before I'd heard The A's perform it I'd first heard it from Shelly Duvall in the 1980 film Popeye. If you've never seen this wild wonder, it looks like it is currently available on both Hoopla and Kanopy in the US, which many library cards give you free access to.

I feel like I've for sure mentioned Centaurworld here, it's a two-season complete story musical animated portal fantasy about a warhorse and it's one of my favourite shows of recent years. If you've got Netflix, it looks like it is still available, which is nice when so many small wonderful shows get shuffled out of libraries too quickly. Anyway, it's got a lot of voice actor joys in it overall, especially if you're a modern musical theatre nerd.

Have I talked about Dead on a Sunday before? The lead singer sounds like Bob from Bob's Burgers and they lean into it sometimes, but also they're just a good emo trash band.

Hey, @quinton-reviews,

l've been rewatching your Nicktoons Unite video, and remembering your configuration on what a new Nicktoons Unite team would be, I went one step further and decided to make it a whole universe game. Call it like "Heroes Unite" or something. And using SpongeBob's connection to the Big Time Rush universe, I came up with 4 characters who can be in this hypothetical Heroes Unite.

Remembering the rules, they have to save the world and feel like they're capable of doing it, there has to be a Scientist, some type of hero, a person who knows Magic, and a fish out of water (metaphorically). So I came up with this:

1. Julie Dawson (Bonus Stage): So, Julie is easily the first one on mine, because they're a scientist. They built the universe they and Phil live in, they built an entire sitcom reactor that can de-age characters, THEY BUILT A SPACE SHIP THAT ALL THE CHARACTERS WENT IN FOR THE FIFTH SEASON. So, they could easily make portals, breathing capabilities for underwater, etc.

2. DJ Lance Rock (Yo Gabba Gabba): A thing that was surprising in your FRED/ Sam and Cat videos that you didn't mention was the connection between SpongeBob SquarePants and Yo Gabba Gabba. And understanding Lance's abilities to turn five toys into living creatures, and turning them back into toys, he would perfectly fit well for the magic option. The only problem, he is not really probably into this hero stuff, he just wants to have fun. So, I'll probably slip in the MC Bat Commander from The Aquabats in there if he doesn't work.

3: Hero (RPG World): I've never read RPG World in my entire life, but I know his cameo in OK K.O. Let's Be Heroes, so I know kind of the basic gist of the series. So, Hero is a hero (of course) That goes on the quest to save the world. And understanding what his quest is, he would be perfect for this hypothetical game. The main bad guy could be anybody that could destroy the world in the BTR universe, so I could just have Hero adjust his quest to fighting said bad guy.

4. Strong Bad (Homestar Runner): Now, he would be the perfect fish out of water. I know Homestar would be the better choice, but Strong Bad is more notable Strong Bad is a wrestling villain that wrote email responses most of the time. But understanding his more heroic types of fighting, like the time he destroyed his two previous computers, he would be perfect for the game.

5 (BONUS). Who could forget, That guy on Instagram (Nass): He would be perfect for cutscenes, I agree with your list just because of that guy. He could sarcastically angrily just admit the flaws of the bad guys, and talk about how they shouldn't have kissed on the sunset. He would be funny for the game.

I'd probably either make one of the bad guys from The Aquabats The antagonist for the game, or I make like Plankton the antagonist for the game, which one sounds more appealing to you.

Actually, scratch that, Evil Syndicate of Evil (who is probably Elly), CobraMan, Galgarion, and Plankton. That'd be a perfect Evil Syndicate.

Hope this lineup would be good for an expanded Nicktoons Unite-esque game, Quinton.

Melbourne Stars BBL13 Season Preview

The 13th edition of the KFC Big Bash League is now just only one month away. 12 seasons have gone by and the competitions 'glamour' side the Melbourne Stars have been one of the dominant home and away teams across the first decade yet have failed to win any silverware thus far. After two bottom placed finishes over the last two seasons, the Stars are ready to bounce back and launch themselves back into the top half of the ladder.

The stars kick off their BBL 13 campaign on 7th December against the Brisbane Heat at the Gabba. There has been months of hard work behind the scenes and the squad is coming along nicely. Captain Glenn Maxwell missed the entire season last year with a broken leg and he's leadership and explosive batting will be a massive boost to the side this season. Marcus Stoinis had an interrupted campaign last season also and he's all round batting and bowling will again be sure to trouble opposition sides. The rest of the squad is looking really well balanced and are ready to take big strides. Sam Harper has returned to green after a stint with cross town rivals the Renegades. He will take the gloves and form a young opening partnership with the newly re-signed Tom Rogers. Maxwell, Stoinis and the big hitting Hilton Cartwright will be a formidable force in the middle order and the trio will be well supported by a younger brigade of up and coming stars.

One of the big issues over the last couple of seasons has been the bowling performances and there has been some significant changes. The clubs all time leading wicket taker Adam Zampa has moved on to cross town rivals the Renegades, however, the fast bowling stocks have received a big boost with Aussie hero Scott Boland returning, Joel Paris and Mark Steketee coming across and experienced veteran Nathan Coulter Nile signing on again. The overseas player draft was completed and with pick 1 the club took explosive Englishmen Harry Brook who will join what already is an exciting middle order of batsmen, rapid fast Bowler and fan favourite Haris Rauf from Pakistan will be returning and young leg spinner Usama Mir also from Pakistan will be pulling on the green. The squad has had some significant changes over the last 12 months and Stars fans should be excited about what is to come this season.
