Anouk - Nobody's Wife 1997
"Nobody's Wife" is the second single released from Dutch singer-songwriter Anouk's debut studio album, Together Alone (1997).
First issued as a single in the Netherlands, "Nobody's Wife" became a hit, reaching number two on both the Dutch Top 40 and the Single Top 100 charts. In early 1998, the song began to gain popularity in the rest of mainland Europe, especially in the Flanders region of Belgium and the Nordic countries, reaching the top 10 in these regions; in Iceland, it peaked at number one for two weeks. The song was released in the US in September 1998 but failed to make a significant impact, charting only on the Billboard Heritage Rock chart at number 32.
"Nobody's Wife" received a total of 56,8% yes votes.

Allah calls Himself Al-Waarith—The Inheritor, the Heir— on one occasion in the Quran. Al-Waarith is the One who remains after the extinction of everyone and everything. He is the only One to whom all will return; He is the sole inheritor and owner of the whole creation!
The Inheritor, The Supreme Heir
Waarith comes from the root waaw-raa-thaa, which points to four main meanings. The first meaning is to inherit. The second main meaning is to be an heir or survivor, and the third is to be the owner or maintainer after one has passed.
This root appears 35 times in the Quran in five derived forms. Examples of these forms are narithu (“we will inherit”), meeraathu (“(the) heritage”), and al waaritheena (” the inheritors”).
Linguistically, waratha refers to the action of inheriting whereas waarith is the one doing the action, the inheritor and al-meeraath is the inheritage. Even though there is the concept of heirs and inheritance of worldly possessions in this world, Al-Waarith is the supreme Heir to whom the heritage of the heavens and earth belongs.
Al-Waarith Himself says: . . . And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor [Quran, 15:23] …And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted. [Quran, 3:180]
Inheritance in the Quran
Al-Waarith says: It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any opinion in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, has indeed strayed into a plain error. [Quran, 33:36] As believers we find guidance regarding the Islamic rulings on inheritance in detail in the Quran. The law of inheritance has been given in the Quran in Surah An-Nisaa, in ayaat 11 and 12 and then in ayah 176 and it is part of faith to refer to these at all times.
How Can You Live By This Name?
1. Know that you will return to Al-Waarith.
Don’t stick to worldly possessions and don’t let them distract you from obedience to the one to whom both your possessions, yourself and your actions, will return. Don’t look for success in wealth and status, big cars and houses, if it compromises your relationship with Allah ‘azza wa jall— even though society pushes through this concept of “success.” Raise your children in putting Al-Waarith first in their actions and remind yourself often that very soon you will return to Him and you won’t be able to take any of your possessions in this world.
2. Say inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon.
Al-Waarith says: Who, when disaster strikes them, say, Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return. [Quran, 2:156] Say inna lillaahi wa inna lillaahi raji’oon not only when someone passes away, but whenever a disaster or trial hits you, even if it is the loss of an object. Revive the sunnah and use this dhikr in times of loss!
3. Reflect on the ownership of Al-Waarith.
Take a look around you; everything you see– and don’t see— belongs to Allah. He gave you all the possessions you have— your car, your house, your children, your health, and even your time. Al-Waarith says: The kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in them belongs to Allah. He has power over all things. [Quran, 5:120] Realize Al-Waarith owns everything, nothing belongs to you, not even your own soul, and praise Him and ask Him for guidance to use your “possessions” to gain His pleasure. When you lose something or someone console yourself with the fact it was Allah’s to begin with.
4. Follow the rulings on inheritance of the Quran and sunnah.
The rulings and laws regarding inheritance in Islam are laid out in the Quran and demonstrated in the sunnah; refer to them in any situation, whether it brings you worldly benefit or not. Some of us follow their own rules of inheritance to gain more financial benefit, this is a grave sin and disobedience to Al-Waarith. So ask Him to guide you to stick to His rulings at all times!
5. Ask Al-Waarith.
The Messenger of Allaah salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam used to say:
اللَّهُمَّمَتِّعْنِيبِسَمْعِي،وَبَصَرِي،وَاجْعَلْهُمَاالْوَارِثَمِنِّي،وَانْصُرْنِيعَلَىمَنْيَظْلِمُنِي،وَخُذْمِنْهُبِثَأْرِي
O Allaah, make my hearing and my sight strong, and make them my heirs (i.e., keep them strong until I die), and support me against the one who has wronged me, and avenge me. [Al-Bukhaari] Use this supplication in your daily life!
In the Quran you can find supplications in which waaritheen (inheritors) is used:
وَاجْعَلْنِيمِنوَرَثَةِجَنَّةِالنَّعِيم
And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. [Quran, 26:85]
وَزَكَرِيَّاإِذْنَادَىٰرَبَّهُرَبِّلَاتَذَرْنِيفَرْدًاوَأَنتَخَيْرُالْوَارِثِينَ
And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, “My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors. [Quran, 21:89]
Wallahu ta’alaa ‘alem.
O Allah, Al-Waarith, we know that You are the Inheritor of the heavens and earth. Aid us in using our worldly possessions to gain Your pleasure, guide us in remembering frequently that we will return to You and make us act upon this knowledge. Help us to abide by Your laws and make us of those that will inherit the highest Paradise, ameen!

part 11 of season 2, episode 16 “day of atonement” continued
166. I don’t think it’ll be the end of the accords but I think the clave definitely needs to change. they have too much power while the downworlders have none. there needs to be some kind of accords that need to be amended to protect downworlders. and I hate to speak ill of my faves but it really irritates me when I hear “there could be an uprising, there could be a revolt, they’ll want revenge, it’ll be the end of the accords” so maybe it fucking should change? Alec can help make change but some shadowhunters act like it would be so bad for downworlders to have rights. how would y’all like to have your rights taken away? PEOPLE DO NOT DESERVE TO HAVE HUMAN RIGHTS TAKEN AWAY. and it’s not like every downworlder is bad but not every shadowhunter is good either. there needs to be some major change. it’s a shame the show was cancelled because I’m interested to see how Alec navigates changing the clave. seeing an uprising would be fascinating to watch as well
167. Clary: I guess I’m happy you’re safe
168. two Jonathan’s, oh how that could be? that’s so shocking, wow!!!!!
169. obviously there are two jonathon’s if jace isn’t clary’s brother
170. of course he’s still alive. can’t keep a good demon down
171. now I can add anything else I missed!!!!!
172. Izzy thinking not this shit again
173. demon Izzy and hallucinated clary
174. we don’t see this trio often
175. Alec being beautiful
176. Alec not having any of it
177. Alec: dad stop excusing your behavior
178. adding this again last because this is going to cause a rift between Alec and Magnus literally in the next episode
179. recap time!!!! what I like- I love Alec having control of the institute and his conversations with Robert. he doesn’t take what Robert did lightly and it seems to have affected him the most. Alec is very strong in this episode and he shows exactly why he should keep his command. because it is ridiculous how jace commits crimes against downworlders and it’s all okay but Alec doesn’t even do anything wrong and he could be punished. I like to see Alec in charge and it’s great to see him start to battle an important decision. keep a secret from Magnus and do what the clave wants or be honest with his boyfriend about a mass murderer who wants him dead? WRONG ALEC YOU CHOSE WRONG
the Simon and Maia scenes make up for not having Malec. I find them great together. they have chemistry, they’re great friends, Simon and Maia understand each other well. I love that Simon realizes hey I don’t actually know Maia. seeing him with his family celebrating his heritage was lovely. I think it’s fantastic how Maia kept stepping in for Simon if he wasn’t ready to disclose everything
believe it or not- I do enjoy the Jonathan scenes. it’s ironic of valentine to desperately want a demon child and then be upset that is what he gets. Jonathan spent a lot of his time in edom and it wasn’t a vacation for him. it’s interesting to watch valentine escape torment and death once again. he’s great at that. “you’re really great at doing awful things and getting away”- Loki show but it reminds me a bit of Valentine. he does do awful shit and he does for the most part get away with it. it’s an interesting dynamic with Jonathan and valentine. there’s lots of hurt behind jonathon. he didn’t ask to be a demon and all he wanted was to get his fathers love back. not excusing any of his actions but it’s very interesting to watch and you tend to feel sympathy for him
will Tudor is immensely talented. he does Sebastian/Jonathan so well. from being secretive to finally showing that he is a demon, to as well freaking out and then trying to kill jace (I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU JONATHAN JUST SO YOU KNOW) the acting is good and I’ll miss him
GET RID OF CLACE ALREADY
180. wheat I don’t like- the CLACE scenes. it’s so unnecessary. like if I feel they really just wanted to give clace a bump right away. it makes it look as if Simon didn’t matter to her as fast as she moves onto jace. well Simon does move on to Maia- I just would have wished to see clary actually spend a little more time thinking of how her actions affected him. I don’t know why it bothers me
and also with clace, it feels like hey we spent one episode making it all about Magnus and Malec so let’s go back to making it about clace 24/7. I find their scenes are extremely cringe. the actors don’t seem to have chemistry but I also can’t find any reasons for the characters to be together. CC fights so hard to make clace seem like THE COUPLE but there’s not anything interesting about them. Clary makes her whole life about jace and jace ignores everyone who’s helped him for clary. it’s not cute, romantic “obsessive” love. it’s toxic
and I really hate how Alec always knows something is off with Jace but he never has those same instincts. Jace is so clueless at times too- “they can’t just fire you Alec” BRO YOU CAN COMMIT MASS MURDER AND NEVER PAY ANY CONSEQUENCES ALEC IS A GAY SHADOWHUNTER WHO IS WITH A WARLOCK YALL ARE NOT THE SAME SO SHUT UP
Alec is gay and was never even considered for a job but jace is a herondale who has no leadership qualities and he got the job
I about forgot what I was saying lmaooo so anyways this episode is probably at a 8 and once again clace ruins shit so it loses some points
but 180 was the number!!!!! thank you for joining Alec doesn’t have time for your shit and I’m already sick of seeing clace on my screen bye discussion post bitchfest!!!!! the next one is rough. honestly I hadn’t anticipated it was malecs actual fight but going through my gifs, it is so that’s going to be fun 🥺 it’ll be a tad overwhelming but I’ll be starting that sometime later today and that one is going to be long. but I’m also going to do a quick preview so see y’all soon
#anti cassandra clare#anti cc#just my stupid opinions#alec lightwood#magnus bane#shadowhunters tv#show alec is superior#show magnus is superior#show malec is superior#anti jace herondale#anti clary fray#anti clace#putting anti cc on all show shadowhunter posts because i don’t want an pro book fans hating on my shit#marking this as 2x16#shadowhunter show is superior#show izzy is superior#Jace doesn’t have any common sense a heart or any care for the lightwoods but only when he needs them#I do thoroughly enjoy watching the acting of Will Tudor he’s so talented#I love seeing Alec in I don’t give a fuck mode#180 is the number

how many died due to the nato bombing in serbia?
ermmmmmm idk ? I am no expert on history. Like, not at all. My parents remark how they didnt have school for months and that practically everyone that was sent to patrol the school died bc of bombings.
according to wikipedia (a terrible source, i know (sarcasm)) this is what i copy pasted
-
The NATO bombing killed about 1,000 members of the Yugoslav security forces in addition to between 489 and 528 civilians. It destroyed or damaged bridges, industrial plants, hospitals, schools, cultural monuments, private businesses as well as barracks and military installations. In the days after the Yugoslav army withdrew, over 164,000 Serbs and 24,000 Roma left Kosovo. Many of the remaining non-Albanian civilians (as well as Albanians perceived as collaborators) were victims of abuse which included beatings, abductions, and murders.[40][41][42][43][44] After Kosovo and other Yugoslav Wars, Serbia became home to the highest number of refugees and IDPs (including Kosovo Serbs) in Europe.[45][46][47]
-
so yeah
also copy pasted from the same wikipedia:
-
Casualties and losses (for serbia)
Serbian MOD in 2013: 1,008 killed (659 servicemen and 349 policemen) 5,173 wounded[23] Acc. to FHP: 304 soldiers and policemen[24] Serbian claim in 2015: Economic losses of $29.6 billion[25] Material losses: Acc. NATO 120 tanks, 220 APCs, 450 artillery pieces and 121 aircraft destroyed[26][27] Yugoslavs estimate: 13 tanks, 6 APCs, and 6 artillery pieces destroyed[27]Third party estimate: 14 tanks, 18 APCs and 20 artillery pieces destroyed[27][28]
-
also this is not related to how many serbs died but (again, copy pasted from wikipedia)
-
The bombing caused damage to bridges, roads and railway tracks, as well as to 25,000 homes, 69 schools and 176 cultural monuments.[180] Furthermore, 19 hospitals and 20 health centers were damaged, including the University Hospital Center Dr Dragiša Mišović.[181][182] NATO bombing also resulted in the damaging of medieval monuments, such as Gračanica Monastery, the Patriarchate of Peć and the Visoki Dečani, which are on the UNESCO's World Heritage list today.[183] The Avala Tower, one of the most popular symbols of Belgrade, Serbia's capital, was destroyed during the bombing.[184]
-
again im not claiming serbia never did anything wrong (bc it sure as hell did.). im just saying that you shouldnt talk abt how much you want serbia to be bombed AGAIN (??who would that help now??) and how you sholdnt wish death upon all people that happen to be residents of the same country. (ive seen it. ive also seen someone censor the word Serb?? hillarious shit actually)
you could say this is vengance? for what serbia did to albanians. and how it was neccessary?? IDK???
idk. i want to and should do more research but yeah. this is all ive got
also im just a Random Teenager. idk man. i dont really know politics. but i dont reallylike memes about how serbia should be bombed again, and how random ass civillians deserved being hurt and killed. neither did albanians deserve to be hurt and killed. ifeel like thats obvious but heck if i know. idrk why wars exist really. as you can see, im highly immature and am not really fit to talk abt the complications of bombing of yugoslavia. all i can do is just tell people to not make memes abtbombing serbia again.feels like human decency.
also random fact. ive heard on the news yesterday that apparently near the borders of Kosovo many serb teens are getting beat up ??? idfk havent looked into it but it seems to be related to all the conflicts. though there may be additional context im missing.
my case in point is to just sorta let it go. and to NOT MAKE MEMES ABT BOMBING SERBIA AGAIN bc WHO WOULD THAT HELP (i mean memes dont harm anyone butit just seems nonsensical tome)
anyway politics stink i hate everything and i wish none of this ever happened and everyone could just live their own fucking lives but the world is more complicated than that ig.
#tw politics#tw bombing#politic tw#bombing tw#not tagging anything else lmao i dont reallywant it to reach TOO many ppl#asks

The first word that comes to mind is STUBBORN. If Rai doesn't like something, she puts her foot down and won't budge. This has gotten her in trouble with Former Teams and Tsunade on more than one occasion.
She comes off as cold and uncaring. Her neutral expression is very hard to read. Unfortunately, that is how she approaches everyone. She doesn't trust people and tries to distance herself from them. She is leery of new people. Mostly because people have treated her with hostility. Even at a young age, she was gathering intel and telling her superiors/captains what to do, which got her the label as insubordinate. She has a remarkable trait of remaining calm and analytical while under immense pressure.
Once her respect is earned, Rai is found to be insanely loyal. Due to her nature, she is said to have a high protection drive to those dear to her. She has been called kind, caring, and sweet by people who know her well.
What is she?
Race- Demon

Former Ro Teammates
Kakashi(Former Captain), Tenzo(Captain), and Yugao
Current Unit
Team Shi
Specialty
Assassination and Hunter/Tracking
Bingo Book Status
Yes, Do Not Engage (DNE) with a 400 million Yen bounty on her head.
Fun Facts
Out of Uniform
Rai is shy and quiet. She tries to keep a very low profile and keep her head down. (Thanks Danzo...) She tries her best to avoid conflict with civilians/humans out of uniform as much as possible.
She doesn't fluster easily, but when it comes to Kakashi or something she likes, it can be easy for Anko to poke fun at her and make her face turn red. When she gets flustered she does clam up and become really quiet.
Yes, she likes Kakashi.
She started to have feelings for him around the time he was discharged from the ANBU. Trying to cover up those feelings, she dove herself into her work. Feelings are a NO NO in the ANBU.
Rai can trace her family heritage to the Ainu people, or the people that first settled in the region. (Maternal side)
Rai comes from a line of "Soul Guardians", wolves that help lost and wayward souls find their way and passage to the next life. (Paternal side)
Rai's "adopted family" are the wolf demons that inhabit the woods around Konoha known as Okami. They have a good history with the Nara clan.
Because of this, Rai has a good relationship with Shikaku. As well as Inoichi and Ibiki.
Rai has trained herself to suppress her chakra and presence.
Rai lost her mother due to Danzo hunting them. (Yes THAT Danzo.)
