This is like no pressure at all to answer but in your post about working on fanfic a chapter three was mentioned and when I looked at your recent works it would appear that the hellcheer fic would be eligible for a chapter 3 👀
Also I’ve noticed a lot of stranger things gifs so just wondering if I should allow myself to start getting excited? I absolutely loved that fic so my fingers are crossed! But everything you write is incredible so even if it’s not something from a fandom I’m in, I know somebody out there will be thrilled 🤍🤍
Ah! Yes! It is my Hellcheer fic - I hadn't even realised it'd been so long since I updated it, but it's genuinely been so much fun to work on it again. I got bitten by the inspiration bug about a month ago, and ended up replotting it and feel really good about the tweaks I've made to the story overall and especially good about this new chapter (and the next one, haha).
I was really ready to tidy up the last scene and post it the other night, but had an unexpected phone call from a friend who's needed some pretty extensive emotional support over the last few days. Things have settled down a bit though now, so I'm aiming to tidy up that scene and post tomorrow. Hope it lives up to your expectations, and thank you for your lovely words! 💖

I am massively busy with work and finalizing my Big Bang, but this idea just won't leave...
Steve and Eddie are both actors. They're in their mid thirties, well established, but they never starred together in anything. Steve tends to be cast in the same type, the dumb but pretty love interest, Eddie has lots of indie and disturbing movies under his belt. But this time, they both landed something big.
They get cast in the new Batman movie.
Steve is, of course, Batman. He insists on doing his own stunts. He refuses to get dehydrated for his shirtless scenes because he knows how damaging it is to both young men and women alike, he's not going to contribute to shitty expectations. The director (Dustin, duh!) sees something in him other directors never have - a potential for depth, for internal turmoil. He gives Steve the chance to prove himself as an actor and Steve pounces on it.
He's still very hot.
Eddie is cast as the Joker. He is a fan of the comics and scoffs at how absurd and deranged the character is becoming. He gets hired because he immediately says he doesn't think the character needs to rely on cheap tricks and shock value to be terrifying. Cutting off his face? Not cool. He suggests to play the Joker according to one of the older comics he has - one where the Joker is actually absolutely sane, but hides it to never be held accountable for his actions. The only person who ever saw through his ruse was Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Joker took care of that issue very quickly.
The chemistry between Steve and Eddie on screen is insane. They go toe to toe, it's impossible to look away when they interact. Eddie utilizes his bright smile to the maximum, tweaking it just right within moments so it becomes unsettling. The first time he laughs, Steve gets goosebumps.
Steve encompasses Bruce's loneliness so well Eddie's heart breaks for him. Dustin finds him in the trailer, giving himself gentle slaps over the face and muttering "you're evil, damn it, you don't want to comfort the Bat!!".
Batgirl (Robin) and Harley Quinn (Chrissy) find their slow descent into love hilarious. They all become good friends on the set.
Hopper, an acting veteran who plays Commissioner Gordon, grasps Steve's shoulder after an intense fight scene and mutters: "Good job, Steve, but maybe don't stare at his lips so much?"
Robin doesn't give him the same courtesy and once Dustin yells "Cut!", she screeches: "NOW KISS!"
The movie is a hit. People love the cast and the story, some of the OG fans complain as they always do, but the ratings are great, there are many interviews, panels, all of that.
And of course, there's gossip about Steve and Eddie being a thing, which enrages the macho Batman fanbase. Their Batman isn't gay!
But the rumors quickly disappear after an award ceremony where Eddie is nominated for the best supporting actor. He wins, of course. And as he gets up to accept the small statue and deliver a speech with enough "fuck"s to give the censor a headache, he drags Steve up and kisses him in front of the whole world.
A week later, Steve and Eddie are together in front of a camera again, answering questions in an interview.
The host asks: "What do you say to those fans that are disappointed, who say that their Batman isn't gay?"
Steve just snorts, pulls Eddie closer and answers: "They're right. Their Batman isn't gay. But he's definitely bi."
Also the comic story I'm mentioning exits and is short but fantastic. 10/10 recommend.
Oh also. The first spark happens when Steve sees Eddie's hair and blurts out: "Please tell me they're not making you cut it shorter. It's too gorgeous for that."
Also because people were asking about the comics - it's Batman Black and White - Case Study and it can be found on Tumblr HERE

So I watched Inside Out 2 with my boyfriend at his house and I ABSOLUTELY loved it! The new emotions it introduced were very fun, it had a lot of great and beautiful moments (the last scene of all the emotions comforting Riley….qwq it almost had me at tears) , and as someone who really enjoys studying psychology, I loved how it incorporated concepts like the changes in the brain structure as you grow, the belief system, emotional maturity, even brainstorming were incorporated into the movie. The only downside for me was that in order to watch we also had to endure a bunch of gambling ads in between the movie…So they took me out of the immersion at times, I know is silly but still XDD
Regardless, to contribute to the Inside out 2 appreciation, I’ve made drawings of my two favorite characters in the movie and consequently my OTP as well. I didn’t tho I would be shipping two emotions of all things but here we are lol. I really liked the kind of rivalry they have through the film and how they grow to understand the importance of each other to Riley…Plus I just find Anxiety having an idol crush on Joy very cute xD
Ok that’s enough rambling from my part lol so have the translation of the first pic:
“There…We are going to find a way to solve this”
“Anxiety, what did we talk about drinking energetics at night?”
“It’s just that- you know how nervous I can get sometimes!”

Let’s Talk
There’s something happening here. Something that makes me feel gross to be back.
The Ghost fandom shouldn’t be like this. We’ve been labeled toxic, we’ve driven people away instead of welcoming them, and what’s worse is we’ve let the real toxicity slip into the waters.
Anon hate is rising again, people are complaining that Father Forge isn’t pumping out new music every year on the dot, and the vibes are so harsh it’s draining creativity.
Let’s get a couple things straight:
1.) anon trolls are cowards and are only interested in the attention, because to them, any attention is good attention. I have a system in place to check my inbox when I get messages. I suggest you guys try and figure out a way to help yourself deal with them should you get the messages. I have been run off my anons before, and I guarantee you, they left me miserable and moved on to their next victim. Don’t let yourself be their next victim. You’re worth so much more than that.
2.) TF just made a full length goddamn movie for us and TWO music videos. Calm down. Touch grass. Let the man have a break.
3.) We’re losing artists, writers, creators on this platform left and right. The things created and shared are free. We create them to contribute to what should be the love we feel for this fandom. You are not entitled to more art, more chapters, more creativity. You want something made? Make it yourself.
Now say it with me:
It costs nothing to keep your opinions to yourself.

Love your blog! 🩷 Perhaps some x celeb reader headcanons?
ty anon for finding my blog <3 glad you enjoy it
★ Price, Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Roach, Alejandro, Rudy, Phillip Graves, Makarov, Keegan, König, Horangi, Nikto
COD Men x Celebrity!Reader
۶ৎ Price...
these newer celebrities have no true talent, they're all nepo babies and can't act nor sing not even if their life depended on it, everything is handed to them on a silver platter
but you... you're different, working from the bottom of the latter you've made your way up to where the spotlights are, right in the middle... where you belong
he knows true talent when he sees it, you've proved everyone else wrong and he's one of your biggest investors
you may not know where exactly the money flows in from, but you're building a path for yourself, and he hopes one day he can be as selfish as to imagine you recognize his contributions to your new status
that is until you find yourself noticing him in the background of every scene you are in, from lavish private parties to more business like meetings with your managers
little did you know your curiosity would make you to want to know more about him and enable becoming close with him, in this world of blinding lights that spins you dizzy you are able to find a safe, stable point in him
you like those moments filled with tranquil walks, or an intellectual conversation while sipping coffee and finding out you have more in common despite your circumstances being so different
maybe you like this unusual pairing and can't wait to see what it leads to
۶ৎ Simon...
probably the guy who you meet at a meet and greet with your fans and when it's his turn instead of being happy to see you he tells you your acting/music sucks, why is he even here then?
turns out one of his friends who is a huge fan had won an extra ticket and dragged him here despite his protests of staying home
for some reason this irks you and you can't get it out of your head so you got out of your way to looks for them around the city for the next couple of days since you got a concert coming up anyways so most fans are staying in the city until then
you spot them and imagine the scene of you running out of the still moving car, your personal driver is panicking and yelling at you to get back inside and your bodyguard isn't even there because you had said you didn't need them as you weren't planning on getting out
you run up to him and demand a proper explanation from, why doesn't he like you? everyone does, you're trending right now!
him seeing you raging in front of him amuses him and seeing that smug smile on his face just makes you want to slap him, he only counters back with saying that with how many fans you have and how fast you got popular you should be releasing better stuff
so you propose taking him along with you, literally everywhere, the recording studio, having him watch with the rest of the crew so he can witness how hard you really work for your fans to be satisfied, he surely can't say that you release mid stuff when you care this much
۶ৎ Johnny...
is perhaps your biggest fan, he enjoys kicking back and watching your shows, movies and interviews you appear in, he especially loves buying magazines you're on and displaying them all over his place
it almost looks like a shrine dedicated to you, it's a little concerning to be honest, he also happens to know almost everything about you because he remembers all the answers you give at interviews
he leaps at any chance of meeting you, whether that be concert tickets, tickets to one of your events, or just being out and around a location he figures you might be at from looking at the background of your videos
he's not a stalker... he's just a little obsessed and maybe it is a problem to make your life revolve around a person that you'll never form a personal relationship with, but somehow he's okay with that
he doesn't even try to contact you or send you letters, unless you're accepting fan mail then he likes to spend the money he has saved up to send you nice gifts he's either handmade or expensive ones that stand out from all the rest of things you receive by other fans
he gets a sense of pride when you open them on camera and see when you're actually impressed by gifts, and it's always the stuff he sends in
۶ৎ Kyle...
is perhaps the only guy you'd ever think of dating
while everyone else either treats you like you're an idol that needs to be pleased at all times or like some newbie who doesn't know what they're doing, he sees you for who you are and doesn't treat you according to your accomplishments or status
he focuses more on your persona and even if his honesty can sting it helps keep you grounded, you know there isn't anyone else you'd rather go to for comfort or advice
even if you call him late at night asking for him to come pick you up because you're a sobbing mess and sick of it all he'll come rushing to help you stand back up on your feet
and when the hate gets to you and the fame overwhelms you, you can still count on him to be there for you and help you see that eventually you'll be able to walk away from it with his help if you ever come to need it, just say the word and he'll do it
it often makes you wonder if he sees you as someone he's into and that's why he does all this or if you've tugged at his heartstrings and are a creature to be pitied and taken under his wing, either way you enjoy it
asking "what are we" after he's picked you up from some private party where you had too many drinks and he goes "i don't know, you tell me" but he almost whispers it with that leaning in his heart towards what he wants the answer to be
he just wants you to be the one to realize it and take the initiative for it, after all, he's done so much more for you and never asking for anything back than all those who have said to be close to you
۶ৎ Roach...
he has known you for a very long time; you were childhood friends but you grew apart through the years when you moved away
but after all these years he finally found you...
on tv, he actually almost fell out of his seat when he was watching the new series everyone had been talking about
he wonders if you even remember him, he's heard you'll be traveling close to where he lives for filming so he secretly hopes to run into you, perhaps there is something that you can recognize in him even after all these year
you're the one who recognizes him in fact, he hasn't even spotted you from across the street, but you follow after him, he still carries old canvas bag even you had made for him
you focus on getting back your old friendship, but it's so hard when you're busy trying to find the balance with your newfound fame
he's stuck on your waiting list while you first run around with your new celebrity friends and because he's so understanding he'll patiently wait like a dog for their owner
still, the few bits and pieces he gets from you he treasures dearly, knowing they're worth so much more than anything else
he can feel this relationship slowly but surely turn into something more one day, and until then he'll continue supporting you just like day one
۶ৎ Alejandro...
being an international actor that you met at an award show
and you got along exceptionally well, what started out as accidentally being assigned to sit in the wrong section lead to something more
the show was boring and long to sit through, yet he made you laugh the entire time, now...
how do you hide a relationship from the public eye if you're both famous?
but you find him charming and all too caring
no matter how packed his schedule is he's finding ways to see you, doesn't matter if he has to wait outside with a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful piece of jewelry
now and then he wishes you two could be more open about your relationship without fearing the backlash
just how stars can go up they can also come falling back down, when your careers start getting unstable it can be hard to remember what your priorities are and if they ever shifted
except he misses you and it's not enough seeing you on tv starring in another commercial that you're doing just to get by, he wants to hear your voice, to see your familiar form in person and be able to embrace you
۶ৎ Rudy...
probably that guy you bumped into when you're running away from the obsessive fans that spotted you out
he doesn't even know who you are and doesn't understand what's going on but he helps you out thinking someone is trying to hurt you, he offers you a ride and you hesitate but weighing your options decide to take the offer
he acts completely normal, as if he doesn't know who you are, when you ask him this he says "of course i don't know you, we're complete strangers", and that kind of humbles you but stuns you, you appreciate his kindness for helping you out back there despite him not knowing the entire situation, you offer to repay him somehow but he declines
a few days later he's scrolling on his phone an article of you appears on his recommended with a your picture on the cover, he didn't even know you were famous but now he regrets not asking for an autograph
you weren't able to thank him properly but you wish you could find him "by accident" again
۶ৎ Phillip...
you're both famous but in very different entertainment sectors, you're the stylish, always dressed up singer who never appears in any photo looking unfashionable, seriously any pic of you looks like you came out of a vogue magazine
so imagine the public's surprise and outcry when they found out you were dating the well known rodeo rider from texas??? (everyone when lana del ray married)
there is no relation at in all your professions yet you with the recent announcement of your relationship you two have been seen enjoying going out together, he travels to see you perform and you'll tag along with him when he's out in the ring kicking up all that dust and dirt
despite the initial reaction from fans they now love seeing your interactions as a couple and think your relationship is goals, he's actually so sweet and caring, not arrogant at all like they thought he'd be
you've almost seemed to have been inspired and are now writing songs that are hitting them charts and getting you streams on your new albums, it's a lot of support you're receiving on both sides and now everyone is asking when the wedding is
۶ৎ Makarov...
you're both actors on a set and don't exactly get along but have to forget that when the cameras turn on because you're playing the main leads in a romance film and have to create that chemistry for the connection to feel real
fans can't deny how palpable the scenes are and are making edits not only of your characters but as actors when you're at award shows or the movie premiere, they ship you both when in reality you can't stand being in the vicinity of one another
there's outlandish theories of you two possibly being in a romantic relationship, and what's worse is that the suspicions seem to line up, you're spotted attending the same party even after promotions for the film have wrapped up, going to the same events even if one you didn't have a role in it, wearing similar outfits or jewelry that makes it look like a matching couple thing
all things that to the public eye are dead giveaways for a secret relationship when really you're both rolling your eyes when you read the articles, still you can't help but try to think of what it'd be like to be in a romantic relationship with the other when you see them
which inevitable draws one to the other :))
۶ৎ Keegan...
you're his secret celebrity crush, he hasn't had many relationships and they almost never last long enough for him to get attached so having a celebrity crush you can't commit to sounds great
he knows the other guys would think it weird and out of characters for him, but he actively enjoys watching shows and movies you star in
you never star in a shitty or low-budget show and he respects that, which is why he's watched every one of them and awaits a new one
he doesn't have things like posters or merch of you because where would he even hang it up on?
he knows he might never have a chance to meet you in real life, you live on different sides of the world, you're the icons, starlets and hot celebrities while he's... well, doing a dirty job out in pockets of earth no one even knows about
until fate seems to prove him wrong? why did he just run into you here? turns out you used to live here, for a short amount of time because otherwise he would've seen you
such a small town only has so many people and for the amount of cute celebrities you've met he seems to catch your attention in that way
seriously, his looks alone could land him a modeling gig, but it's not for just how he looks that made you into him, maybe it was his low voice and striking eyes that made his demeanor all the more appealing
how have the tables turned...
۶ৎ König...
you used to be pretty big in his country until you mysteriously withdrew from the public eye, he was once a pretty big fan of you and was saddened to see you no longer were releasing music or films
it's been years yet one day when he's at the public library he thinks he caught a flash of you walk by him, he turns and follows, surely that can't be you, can it?
oh, but it is! what a surprise it is to see you at the self-help section... he also sees you glance at the biographies and memoirs where a book you published years ago when you were peak is still displayed
nervously he approaches you and asks for an autograph, you can't help but be caught off guard, you didn't expect to still be recognized, especially when you're wearing glasses, a cap and basically clothes that wouldn't give you away, still he was able to recognize you under all that
he hesitates to ask why you left the industry but you're so nice and sweet to him, not having interacted with fans for years made you appreciate this moment so you answer nicely, even when he asks if you're thinking about making a comeback
you shrug and only give him a smile, he's probably freaking out on the inside that he met a celebrity he thought he'd never have the chance of seeing ever again, you like his personality and ask for his number, you're curious about him
۶ৎ Horangi...
he's seen how toxic and deteriorating the celebrity culture is, as fun and fast-paced as your life can be he makes sure you have a moment to be grounded and slow down
often he'll book secluded places where nothing will disturb your peace as you rest for a few days, he talks to you and will listen to anything you have on your mind
he's the type of boyfriend to just kinda be in the behind of scenes of it all, he's got plenty of money himself and will let you know you can fall back on him and depend if you ever need to, you don't have to work excessively if it all becomes too much for you one day
when you come back late from a filming session he'll surprise you with jewelry and expensive things you might be wanting, he just loves showering you in gifts you can wear out in public to show off
the public knew you had a boyfriend but weren't too interested in unmasking his identity, until a picture taken by the paparazzi with him in it blew up and now everyone wants to know about your hot boyfriend
he didn't expect this and is stunned until you elbow him playfully joking about how he'll overshine you, he welcomes the polite public at first but draws a line not wanting to steal your spotlight
sometimes you ask him why he doesn't just go for the offers that are probably piling up in his email and on his social media he turned private now
he shrugs, "maybe one day, not right now"
۶ৎ Nikto...
your big, built bodyguard who doesn't even know you that well because you just recently blew up on the scene
all he focuses on is his task of protecting you everywhere you go, that's all, right? then why does he find himself caring for you a little more
sometimes when he's in the car accompanying you to your home, he'll be looking out the window and when the car arrives at the destination he looks over and you're asleep, instead of waking you up he watches you for a moment, your head resting back on the headrest and he can't bring himself to wake you up
so he carries you out and up to your apartment, all the way he's careful not to bump you into anything, he has the keys because you've given him a copy just in case and he enters and lays you in your bed, he only removes your shoes and covers you with a blanket
he thinks about leaving but then he sees the messy state your apartment is in, surely he can't leave it like this can he? now he feels compelled to clean it all up and by the time he's done it's daylight and when you groggily walk into the kitchen, attracted by the good smell of food cooking you see him already laying out a nice meal on the table
"for you" is all he says but you're ready to drop to your knees and propose

sorry babe i dont have any descriptive hard thoughts atm 😔 only came here to say nomin as roommates 🤤🤤🤤 lots of manhandling
tweaking off an energy drink right now and i cant stay still but here’s what i got. also this got wayyyy too long i had to stop tw // nothing actually! unless homosexuality triggers you but this lowkey kinda gay in a “my boyfriend and i saw you across the bar and we really dig your vibe” way. also i was gonna include manhandling but it got long, so…im sorry
sorry when you said “nomin as roommates” my brain went… just nomin or? i figured that’s not what u meant but my mind still wandered there so anyway.
jaemin and jeno recruiting you into their not relationship like, they swear they’re not dating or whatever, and you don’t really press about it because it’s none of your business, to be honest. but they have been searching for a new roommate, a female one, not that they mention this to you during their recruitment, and something about you checks all the boxes of whatever it is they’re looking for. you don’t know that, though. you’re just happy you finally seemed to find a place to stay after much trial and error.
anywho, it’s relatively normal at first, other than the fact that jaemin seems to be naked most of the time… it’s not like he walks around the house freeballing, but damn close. it’s not so bad though, because he cooks sometimes and shares. jeno cleans. you appreciate the routine and harmony they seem to have going on, finding that they complement each other in some weird way, and you want to know how you can fit into that dynamic. after all, if you’re going to live here with them, you have to contribute, right?
it’s hard, though. honestly, you hardly understand why they were searching for a roommate in the first place. jaemin and jeno seem to handling everything, including rent, just fine together. they have a perfect balance in their life with or without you. jaemin cooks, jeno cleans. during their movie nights you walk in on, that they never ask you to join, jeno makes the popcorn and jaemin picks the movie. they work out together, coming home from the gym with sweat-drenched shirts that cling to their bodies, laughing about things you will never understand. jeno pinching jaemin’s bicep to marvel at how strong he is now. jaemin’s hand wandering over jeno’s chest for a second too long before commenting on how sturdy he’s gotten. sometimes you wonder if they will invite you, too afraid to ask to tag along, but they never do.
not until you accidentally walk in on them, jeno’s hand around jaemin’s tall, stiff cock as it spills over with semi-clear trinkles of prerelease, jaemin’s hips involuntarily arching into jeno’s palm. you gasp, eyes immediately hitting the floor as you jerk your head away and start to shut the door, spluttering, “sorry,” over and over. you had intended to come to jaemin’s room to ask him for help on changing the settings on your camera and the door had been slightly open. but a call of your name makes you halt just before you can shut it completely. “y-yeah?” you stammer, still not looking up from the floor. really, it’s not much of an invitation that you are given; “come in and close the door,” is what jaemin says.
for some weird reason, you obey.
that is how you find yourself with your palm around jaemin’s cock instead, your hand smaller than jeno’s. he tips his head back, moaning. he is sitting with his legs thrown open and you are standing at the edge of the bed, fisting his cock, all the while jeno is behind you, lips tickling the back of your neck. you try not to let it bother you, try to focus on anything but how it feels to have him pressed against you, but the only other thing you can focus on is the fact that jaemin is completely naked in front of you, bare chest heaving, and your eyes glimpse over the undulating muscle before going down to his toned stomach and throbbing cock, coated with a glistening sheen. jeno chuckles in your ear, the sound making you shudder, and murmurs, “so tense… relax, precious.”
his kisses droop down to your shoulders, pushing the loose hem of your oversized shirt so that it slacks just above your forearm. “you know what jaemin does to me when i need to relax, hm?” he asks, and he does expect you to reply. it’s a whisper when you do, like you have completely lost your voice. “he uses his pretty pink lips. look at them. aren’t they pretty?”
you do look at jaemin’s lips, and they are pretty. you have noticed before. never dry, which impresses you. jaemin grins proudly at the compliment, feeling adored. “yeah, aren’t my lips pretty, princess?” you nod your head, muttering, “yeah… they’re nice.” jaemin smiles a little wider, a little wilder. “make me come and i’ll put them on you. deal?”
and he does put them on you. your thighs squeeze the pale palette of his soft cheeks as you straddle his face, cotton panties hanging on jeno’s finger until he has to manually hold you onto jaemin’s mouth, keeping you in place when the pleasure becomes too much to bear. strong hands gripping onto your hips as you try to get away from the stimulation, with the added force of jaemin’s fingers tightening on your thighs as he sucks as your sensitive clit. you can’t move. you can’t escape it. “no use in fighting it, babe,” jeno tells you huskily, nibbling at your earlobe. “you’re not going anywhere. just let jaem make you feel good, okay?”

Visions Magazine with Tobias Forge on the idea behind Rite Here Rite Now, the importance of soundtracks in general and how he distinguishes between himself and his characters (Visions Magazine issue nr. 377, 08/2024)
Full translation of the included interview by me below the cut - buckle up, this is a long post! There are no spoilers for RHRN in this.
Markus Hockenbrink: Tobias, have you ever watched the movie Metallica: Though The Never?
Tobias Forge: Yes, once, when it had just come out. The topic Metallica came up when we were taking care of the funding for [RHRN]. Every larger production company – and I have to emphasise here that this was before Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour and her extremely successful movie about it – voiced a lot of concern back then whether anybody would still be interested in concert movies. I had to explain time and again that my movie wouldn’t be a typical concert movie, to which I was asked several times: “Oh, so something like Through The Never?” I had to deny that again. We tell a story in our movie most of our fans are already familiar with. So it’s not an entirely new concept, which is already the first distinction from Through The Never. If you only consider that there is a concert part and a feature film part, then those two movies are probably similar. But that also applies to La La Land.
M. Hockenbrink: You describe your movie as a combination of Kiss’ Alive II, Ralph Bakshi cartoons and silent film horror. Is that a kind of childhood dream that comes true there?
T. Forge: Definitely. For as long as I’ve been interested in music, I’ve also been interested in film and television. Working in film could have also been a career option for me, but I always got the rather annoying impression that one would have to go to film school to really find a place in that field. School was never my strong suit, I see myself more as a autodidact in that regard. That I had the opportunity to work on/contribute to my own movie as a sorcerer’s apprentice of sorts is a real privilege. That is a dream come true but it is also something I can picture more of in the future. Next time maybe without the band.
M. Hockenbrink: Can you remember a specific moment in your life when you realised that you were especially drawn to topics that are slightly morbid and unsettling?
T. Forge: I think that due to my family I came in contact with vastly different kinds of pop culture from a very young age. In more traditional families with more conservative parents and siblings of similar ages, you only really start with your respective journey to find yourself in your teens. Then there are often restrictions that are meant to distract from those darker influences. My parents on the other hand are very liberal and my brother was 13 years older than me. There were never limits or censorship for me. My childhood didn’t go by without rules entirely, but I was always allowed to watch or listen to what my brother was also watching or listening to. That way I was exposed to all kinds of teenage culture from the beginning. Sure, I also liked Pippi Longstocking and He-Man. But that was always combined with the French arthouse films my mother liked to watch or the horror flicks my brother was into. I can’t recall a particularly striking horror film experience, but I still remember the first time it dawned on me that movies don’t just exist, they’re made.
M. Hockenbrink: How do you mean?
T. Forge: My father worked as a documentary maker in television. His job was to connect the video track and the sound track in a fitting way for different film production. I saw Jaws on television with him as a small child. It’s important to note that my father is not somebody who can just quietly enjoy films but somebody who likes to butt in. Thanks to him I already had a kind of epiphany during the introduction. He said: “Look closely! There is nothing to see in this underwater scenery except the algae. Technically completely harmless. But it only takes the ominous music to turn the whole scene into pure horror already!” And I thought: Wow! That’s true! Later in the movie you only have to hear that music and it immediately puts you on edge, even when there’s nobody in the water right now. They don’t even have to show the shark anymore. I found it fascinating that the [viewer’s] senses/perception could be manipulated like that. Ever since, I’ve been viewing films with different eyes. I can still allow myself to dive into the story but at the same time I see the practical aspect to film-making.
M. Hockenbrink: I had a similar feeling during the introduction of Shining: technically a cozy road trip in the mountains, but a pure nightmare with the music.
T. Forge: I’m with you on that. Shining is one of the best movies of all time. And funnily enough, only the intro sequence was actually shot in nature. All the other scenes, even if they were outside, were filmed in the studio. Exactly that kind of craftsmanship is what I find inspiring.
M. Hockenbrink: With that in mind, what makes a good soundtrack in your opinion?
T. Forge: We already talked about Jaws, but I can think of Eyes Wide Shut as another example. There is that short piano theme that comes up again and again, incredibly effective. A good soundtrack needs to deliver something that you don’t have to be able to see to perceive its existence. Sure, there are no monsters in Eyes Wide Shut, aside from the main character’s jealousy as an internal monster maybe. But just like the music in Jaws, the theme from Eyes Wide Shut symbolises something that doesn’t have to be shown. The sound is enough. That is also a commonly used effect in adventure and love movies. You just put in a short vignette to describe the love between two characters. In Star Wars, Luke Skywalker also has his own theme, that is used every time when things get emotional and you’re supposed to feel that hope. You’ve got to pay attention to that. Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th also has a personal theme to recognise him by. Every time you hear it you immediately know “Oh shit, he’s nearby!”
M. Hockenbrink: What about soundtracks that are made up of songs?
T. Forge: With that, I’m especially thinking of Silence of the Lambs. In the scene where Buffalo Bill dresses up as a woman and dances around his basement, a song called Goodbye Horses by Q Lazzarus is playing. I have no idea how the artist felt about that since the song is now so irrevocably connected to that awful scene, that you can’t listen to it anymore without thinking of it.
M. Hockenbrink: Do you feel like soundtrack work is more appreciated now than it used to be?
T. Forge: I think that it’s definitely gained importance over the last 40 years. The right song on the right soundtrack can be incredibly powerful. Just think of Stranger Things. Obviously, Metallica and Kate Bush already had successful careers before, but what happened with Master of Puppets and Running Up That Hill following the series was something else entirely. The songs were associated so strongly with the narrative, that way more people listened to them than before. Of course I’m a strong advocate for live music but I also realised that nothing is as strong as the connection of visuals and music. That is still the most powerful way to appeal to a deeper emotion through the association.
M. Hockenbrink: More or less a shortcut to the subconscious.
T. Forge: Exactly. But you can’t be cynical about that either. If I was an A&R person at a big label, I would probably also say: “You just have to find a spot for one of your songs on a popular soundtrack, then you’ll have made it!” That’s really how it is. But when you view it from an artistic perspective, when you want to reach people a certain way or bring across a certain message or a certain feeling, the combination of visuals and sound can’t be topped.
M. Hockenbrink: It especially lends itself to an immersive experience, as seems to be in the foreground of [RHRN]. An album by Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden ends at some point, then you’re gone from that metal world again. With Ghost, however, you get the feeling that the illusion just keeps on going, across several media. Did you plan the Ghost mythology like this from the start?
T. Forge: In part. When I started with the band, I only wanted to make a standalone album. The concept was supposed to be interesting and practical, but I wasn’t planning for Ghost to be a huge thing. The style I pictured has its own limits in my opinion. The band was supposed to function a certain way and appeal to a certain target audience. The concert was supposed to be a theatrical performance in the literal sense. Ghost were never supposed to perform in a normal rock club nor go on tour. I wanted more of a kind of Vaudeville show in a proper plushy theatre. The band was supposed to be as anonymous as the actors that stand on stage and play, say, Faust. The idea behind this was: Those who don’t know who the people are on stage are more ready to follow the story. Then we would perform three days back-to-back in select cities. Berlin, Amsterdam, London. Just like Diamanda Galás who can more likely be found at a culture festival than in a rock shack. But things turned out differently in the end, and I had to kiss my original ideas goodbye again, so to speak.
M. Hockenbrink: Why?
T. Forge: After the success of our debut album, it became clear to me that more conventional concerts were going to be demanded of us and that I could only really say yes or no. This problem became worse after our shift to a bigger label. It became clear that my vision of telling stories clashed with the live sector and requirements for success more and more. At a certain point anonymity doesn’t work anymore and I had to make peace with that in the end.  I originally didn’t even want to do interviews but that’s obviously tricky when you want to sell records. The question that I constantly ask myself since is how I can do those things best in the Ghost way without denying the original Vaudeville spirit.
M. Hockenbrink: In his autobiography Golf Monster, Alice Cooper talks about himself in third person a lot when he is talking about his character. Are you feeling similarly at this point?
T. Forge: At least I can definitely see where he’s coming from. There is a difference between the person Vincent Furnier and the character Alice Cooper. I believe that he was on the verge of completely transforming into Alice Cooper at one point – to the point where one has to decide where they want to live or die. In the end he decided to remain Vincent Furnier and only become Alice Cooper for work, on stage. So far I’ve been fortunate to combine the two pretty well, but had I started Ghost ten years earlier in my life, it would have probably affected me similarly to how Alice Cooper did with Vincent Furnier in his time. But with my humble experience as an actor I have to say: every character you play becomes a part of you to a certain extent. You have to find certain qualities – good or bad – within yourself to bring such a character to life. I think that most actors only play one or two roles throughout their life that they then end up being known for. The different characters that I’ve portrayed on stage are not only very similar but actually also a part of me. Fortunately a part of me that I don’t want to deal with all day long.
M. Hockenbrink: Too cynical and antisocial?
T. Forge: Cardinal Copia or Cardi, as I like to call him, is not an all-around cool person, but that makes him so fun to play for me. He is half Freddie Mercury and half Jacques Clouseau. Kind of clumsy, kind of silly, kind of stupid. The kind of guy who trips over his own feet but catches himself elegantly. That’s also me in a way, but not just. And I think that’s easier to embody than a daredevil hero character who can rival anyone and gets all the ladies. When somebody plays only those characters their whole life, it will probably really go to their head. Especially when there are drugs involved on top of that.
M. Hockenbrink: With all that fondness of doom that can be found with Ghost, that universe also has something humorous about it, benign even. It that an intentionally included contradiction?
T. Forge: Yes, and it is also very important to me that it comes across like that. For me that also has something to do with the evolution of metal. Originally it was mostly a phenomenon connected to the youth, nowadays the musicians and their fans are close to retiring. That brings a certain maturity. Even the Norwegian black metal musicians who were super pissed and extreme 30 years ago and were only made of hate and aggression are well-adjusted people now. Bearded fathers and grandfathers with a pleasant view on life that make others laugh. I see a certain duality there. Everything that has something to do with goth, with metal, with horror, appears dark, dismal and hostile at first. But in reality, that can all be extremely life-affirming and a source of great joy for many people. So pretty much the opposite.
M. Hockenbrink: Speaking of horror: could you imagine making a real feature film some day?
T. Forge: Yes, I would love that. I’m well aware that it’s not going to be easy to make what I’m picturing a reality, just because I’ve done directing once with [RHRN] now. The creative liberty I got to enjoy there also was due to the fact that I funded the movie myself. So nobody was meddling with it. That is likely completely different when you work on behalf of a big studio, because we are talking about different sums here. If I only go off my dreams, I would name two points of reference. One is Shining, the other Bram Stoker’s Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola. I would like to make a movie that’s only shot in a studio, with elaborate sets, matte painting and all that. No outside shots, no special effects, no green screen. And no actors who only gets to see what they were actually doing after the fact. Proper old-school. The way movies are actually meant to look.

Lunch Talks
MCU! Peter Parker x Silk! Reader
Scenario: Peter talks about you to his friends (inspired by @heihei.edits on tiktok)
word count: 791
warning(s): second hand embarassment
~
Now Ned isn’t a jealous person. He’s never been one, especially to Peter. Not when he found out his best friend was Spider-Man nor when it turned out he had indeed met Tony Stark. But this-? This takes the cake.
“What a minute you’ve met Silk. The Silk.”
“I still think it’s a stupid name,” MJ interjects. Flipping to the next page of her novel.
“Yeah,” Peter grins. Popping open a milk carton that’s certain to be half frozen. “She remembers you by the way and her name is- well, everyone at the tower calls her Moon.”
It isn’t verbal but clearly MJ is exasperated by Peter’s lack of logic. She wonders why it took so long for her to realize Peter and Spider-Man were one in the same when he talked so loosely about his life.
“She does?” Ned gapes.
Peter nods as he takes a bite out of his burrito which according to you, is a disgrace to Mexican culture. Honestly he wasn’t entirely convinced until you showed up for patrol with a bag that smelled heavenly.
You can’t blame him. All the good spots are in Brooklyn and you’ve done this whole vigilante thing much longer than he has.
“What did she say? How did she say it? Was-?”
“Woah, woah, slow down.”
“She saved almost two hundred dollars worth of legos. I deserve to know!” Ned answers while angrily biting into a carrot. “She’s my personal hero and you’re over here talking about her remembering me like it isn’t a big deal!”
Chuckling nervously Peter raises his hands. Eyeing MJ for assistance but obviously, he’s on his own. At least until she can’t resist the kicked puppy look he gives her and as much as she discredits hero names as being clever, Silk is also someone she greatly admires.
In a way, you and Peter are alike.
Not fighting for fame or money. Just looking out for the little guy and protecting them from large corporations. Yeah, she’s read the news. A lot of Stark’s contributions are encouraged by your involvement within the community.
She’s got to hand it to you, you know how to work the system that is Tony Stark.
“Silk is heavily involved and I’m sure in your case, having a civilian cry over a lego set is memorable.”
“Don’t kill my delusions,” Ned sulks. “And it was a gift for Peter.”
Peter smiles at the memory. Christmas with his two favorite people. Red wrapping paper and silky ribbons. Movies from the 90s which of course included Home Alone and…a small box on his dresser that he wasn’t going to open until he could call you at midnight.
Gulping down milk and stuffing his face would only do so much. Peter could feel his face getting warm and he could certainly feel his heart beating up to his fingertips.
Ah god.
“Hungry are you?”
Peter sputters, choking on the last drops of milk as he sets his tray back into place. “What?”
MJ isn’t a fool and she won’t be taken for one. It also isn’t like she doesn’t get a little enjoyment out of the way Peter fumbles over his words. At least now she knows what’s led him to drift off into dreamland recently.
“What?” Ned parrots. Confused. “It’s lunch?”
Peter wipes away what he spilled before hiding behind his sleeve.
“Sure,” MJ smiles. The smile that allows Peter to know he’s screwed. “When are you going to see her again?”
“Uh- patrol. We have patrol together.” Peter tugs on the collar of his button up.
“Dude?” Ned looks between his friends. A tennis match obviously ensuing.
“Today?”
“Yeah,” Peter squeaks.
“What time?”
“Afternoon.”
“So right after class?”
“Oh,” Ned drawls innocently. “Is that why we’re meeting at your house later tonight?”
Sweating bullets Peter can’t find himself to answer or tear his gaze away from MJ.
“Yeah Peter, is that why?” MJ bites back a laugh.
Peter bounces his leg underneath the table before finally caving. He’s learned from experience it’s easier that way. That doesn’t mean he’ll go quietly.
“I thought you were supposed to be my friend,” he groans. A borderline whine as he refrains from planting his face on any available hard surface.
“Ok, if someone doesn’t tell me what’s going on right now-”
“Betty!” Peter stands up abruptly. Clearing the lump in his throat. “Here- you can sit here.”
“Thanks, I guess.” Betty arches a brow. Her boyfriend’s friend has always been hospitable and a bit jumpy but this is too much. Even for him. When she sits beside Ned she leans over to whisper in his ear.
“What’s up with him?”
“That’s what I’m saying!”
A loud thump resounds in their little corner of the cafeteria.

PSYCHO KILLER - SCREAM
Tumblr media
Summary: in which Iris Morris has to navigate her personal relationships while surviving a psycho.
Warnings: Fem!reader, angst, mention of violence, swearing, mention of death, Tara Carpenter x Fem reader, multiple parts.
Word count: 3k
A/n: the next 3 chapters won’t follow Scream 6 plot as I wanted to add more storyline to the characters outside of the movies. If you want to read just Scream 6 plot, skip to Part 12. I’m also not going to follow the original timeline as Scream 6 will take place two years later from Scream 5. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any grammatical mistake.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11
Iris leaned against the kitchen counter, a cup of coffee in hand, gazing out the window at the bustling streets of New York. The city hummed with life, a vibrant symphony of honking cars, distant sirens, and the chatter of people rushing by. It had been a month since she, Tara, and Sam had moved into their modest apartment in Brooklyn, and slowly everything was falling right into place.
"Can you believe we actually live here?" Tara exclaimed, bouncing into the kitchen with a bright smile that lit up the room. Iris, lost in her thoughts, jumped slightly at her voice. She turned to look at her friend and found herself taking in Tara's relaxed appearance. Her hair was still damp from her morning shower, and she wore an oversized sweatshirt that hung loosely on her frame. Feeling a strange flutter in her chest, Iris quickly averted her gaze, a wave of confusion washing over her. What was happening to her? As a distraction, she reached for the coffee pot and passed Tara a steaming cup. "It feels like a dream," she said, her voice steadier than she felt.
"More like a chaotic dream," Sam replied, emerging from her room with a stack of books. "I can't find anything in this mess. I'm still trying to locate my favorite sweater."
Iris chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Which one? The black one? Or the other one that's also black? Or wait—what about..."
"Point taken! It's not my fault black goes with everything!" Sam exclaimed, feigning annoyance at Iris's playful critique.
"Oh, I see you're breaking out the spring colors," .
Sam threw a small book at her, but Iris was quick to dodge it, laughter bubbling up as she ducked.
"Maybe it's a sign that you need to embrace the New York fashion scene," Tara chimed in, grinning.
"I rather die but thanks"
As they settled into their new routine, the trio found joy in the small things: discovering local coffee shops, exploring vibrant street markets, and hosting movie nights along with Chad and Mindy in their living room, which was still adorned with unpacked boxes. Soon they were going to start their classes so they were trying to enjoy the most they could before they inmersed themselves in books. Iris was also searching for a job because she didn't want Sam to be the only one contributing financially, and she wanted to stop her mom from having to spend money on her.
Some weeks later, even with Iris getting a job on a coffee shop, they soon realized that money was still running short. With rent prices in New York being what they were, they knew they needed a fourth person to share the burden. They set up an anonymus ad, detailing their apartment and what they were looking for. They were all wary but they knew they didn't have a choice.
After a few interviews that felt more like awkward first dates than roommate searches, the trio finally met Quinn, a girl with fiery ginger hair that seemed to glow under the dim light of their cluttered living room, and strikingly blue eyes that sparkled with confidence. She was majoring in biology, and perhaps the most intriguing detail was that her dad was a cop. As she strolled into their apartment, she instantly filled the space with a vibrant energy.
The living room was still a whirlwind of unpacked boxes and mismatched furniture, a mix of secondhand finds and items from their old homes. Colorful pillows were scattered across an old couch, while a coffee table was littered with snacks from their latest movie night. A small bookshelf leaned against the wall, stuffed with books that had yet to find their proper places. The air carried the faint aroma of popcorn mixed with the floral scent of a candle they had lit in a moment of desperation to mask the smell of takeout.
"So, how long have you guys been looking for a roommate?" Quinn asked, casually leaning against the doorframe, her arms crossed with an air of confidence.
"For a few weeks, but as you can see, we haven't had much luck," Sam replied, gesturing toward the chaos. Her tone was laced with a hint of frustration, but there was also a flicker of curiosity in her eyes.
"Is it because people in New York are weird, or are you guys just too strict?" Quinn quipped, raising an eyebrow playfully, a smirk dancing on her lips.
"Honestly? A little bit of both," Tara admitted, sharing a knowing glance with Iris as they both recalled some of the more bizarre people they met.
Quinn let out a soft laugh. "I get it! You should have seen my last roommate, she was a little bit weird. She had a pet rat, and that little fucker would sneak into my room all the time!" She shuddered dramatically, her eyes wide with mock horror, and Iris couldn't help but snort at her antics.
After a bit of small talk, Quinn leaned in closer, her curiosity piqued. "So, where are you guys from?"
The three friends exchanged glances, an unspoken agreement passing between them. "We're from Woodsboro," Sam said, determined to be honest, at least about this part.
"Oh, okay. I think I've heard that name before," Quinn replied, making a nonchalant face as she glanced around the apartment. "I come from Philadelphia, but I think I already mentioned that" she added with a light laugh, her eyes sparkling.
"Why did you move here? Just for college?" Sam asked, genuinely curious about the girl who seemed to fit right in.
"Well, actually, I moved because my dad got a job here at the police station, and I figured I'd apply to a university while I was at it," Quinn explained, her tone brightening with pride.
"Your dad is a cop?" Iris inquired, raising an eyebrow, intrigued. After Quinn nodded, she exchanged a quick glance with Tara. Having a roommate whose father was a cop felt like a safety net in their world, right?
Sam, sensing the conversation flowing nicely, offered to show Quinn what would be her room and slipped away, leaving Iris and Tara alone in the living room. They both knew that Sam had her own agenda, to continue interrogating the new girl.
"So, what do you think of Quinn?" Iris wiggled her eyebrows playfully.
"She seems nice. It could be good," Tara replied, her tone thoughtful as she leaned back against the couch, letting the cushions cradle her.
"Maybe she likes horror movies too, she could even join our movie nights!" Iris exclaimed, though she knew no one was going to interrupt the nights in where Tara tried to convince her that horror movies are the best.
"Nope, that's our thing, just you and me," Tara said, playfully rolling her eyes as Iris draped an arm around her shoulder.
At that moment, Sam and Quinn returned, and Sam subtly nodded at Iris and Tara, signaling that they'd found their new roommate. . "Well, Quinn, pleasure to meet you, and welcome to your new home, I guess!" Sam said, her smile a bit awkward but genuine. "My sister and Iris will fill you in on everything else you need to know."
Iris gave a thumbs-up to Quinn, feeling a mix of excitement and nervous energy. She had to get used to someone else living here. "Yeah, welcome! It's a bit chaotic, but it's home," she added, trying to reassure her.
"Okay, cool!" Quinn replied, then added with a teasing grin, "By the way, you guys look really cute together. How long have you been dating?"
Both Iris and Tara froze, their eyes wide in shock. They exchanged a quick glance and suddenly they realized that Iris still had her arm around Tara's shoulder, and Tara had inadvertently intertwined their fingers. This was not looking good for them.
They quickly disentangled themselves, deep blushes spreading across their faces. "Oh, no, we're not—" Iris stammered, her heart racing.
"What? No, no—" they spoke in unison, completely flustered and embarrassed.
"We're just friends," Iris clarified, trying to regain her composure, her voice a little shaky. "Best friends!"
"Omg, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to assume!" Quinn exclaimed, her face a mix of embarrassment and amusement, her cheeks flushing as she realized the misunderstanding.
Iris and Tara waved it off, trying to hide their awkwardness, while Sam stood to the side, silently laughing at the whole situation, her shoulders shaking with suppressed giggles.
After some time, Quinn excused herself, and the three friends were left alone once again, the tension still hanging in the air. "Well, that was fun. I'm just gonna go..." Iris said, signaling backward toward her room, desperate to escape the lingering awkwardness. "To my room."
Once Iris left, Sam turned to her sister with a teasing grin, her eyes sparkling with mirth. Tara, however, pointed a finger at her, ready to defend herself against any teasing that was sure to come.
"Not a word, Sam," she warned, her voice stern.
"I didn't say anything," Sam replied innocently, her grin widening as she leaned against the wall.
"You're thinking it," Tara shot back, crossing her arms defiantly.
"Everyone is thinking it" Sam quipped, unable to hold back her laughter any longer.
"Shut the fuck up".
Two weeks later, classes started. Iris adjusted her backpack as she hurried across the bustling campus of Blackmore University, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and nerves. It was her first day, and the sprawling brick buildings felt both intimidating and inviting. The crisp autumn air filled her lungs, energizing her as she navigated through a bunch of students chatting animatedly.
She finally reached her classroom, a bright, airy space filled with wooden desks and large windows that let in the golden sunlight. As she stepped inside, Iris found a seat near the front and unpacked her notebooks, eager to absorb everything she could. Just as the professor began the lecture on cognitive behavioral therapy, a girl with brown hair and a bright smile plopped down in the seat next to her. "Hey! Is this seat taken?" she asked.
"Not at all, you can sit".
"Thanks, I'm Anika". she introduced herself with an enthusiastic smile.
"Iris," she replied, returning the smile. "Nice to meet you!"
The lecture unfolded, filled with complex theories and intriguing concepts, but Iris couldn't help but sneak glances at Anika. The way she scribbled notes furiously, then made funny faces at the professor's overly serious demeanor, made Iris chuckle more than once.
As the class came to an end, Iris gathered her things, and Anika turned to her, an excited glint in her eyes. "So, what did you think of the class? Aside from the professors boring voice"
Iris laughed. "It was interesting but I'm not gonna lie, he did make me wanna go to sleep at some point"
"God, I wish we could steal their coffee" Anika quipped, her smile wide. They both stood, now surrounded by a stream of students making their way out of the classroom. "What other classes do you have today?" Anika asked as they walked down the hallway together.
"I have social psychology next. How about you?" Iris replied, feeling a sense of ease as they chatted.
"Same! I guess we're officially psychology buddies," Anika said, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.
As they settled into their seats for the next class, Iris couldn't shake the feeling that she had just made her first friend. Throughout the lecture, they exchanged snarky comments and jokes, growing more comfortable with each passing moment.
After class, as they wandered outside, the campus was buzzing with energy, students lounging on the grass or rushing to their next classes. Anika turned to Iris, her expression turning more serious. "So, what made you choose psychology? Just curious."
Iris took a deep breath, thinking about how her own experiences shaped her decision. "I guess I've always been fascinated by why people do what they do, why they are willing to do things that sometimes are not morally correct" Iris had always been interested in psychology but after what happened eight months ago, it was like she had this need to understand people's actions and maybe to understand her own. She pulled the trigger that killed someone and she still doesn't feel bad about it to this day. She couldn't say all of that to Anika yet so she decided for a simpler explanation. "It feels like understanding people can help us navigate through the chaos of life. Plus, I just want to help others find their way, you know?"
Anika nodded, a thoughtful expression on her face. "I get that. I want to figure out how to help people but also how to help myself. I mean, if we can understand our own minds, maybe we can navigate better this world."
"Exactly!" Iris said, her heart swelling with the connection. They exchanged numbers before parting ways, both feeling a spark of excitement for what lay ahead. As Iris walked back to her apartment, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of her first day.
After two months of classes at Blackmore University, they all settled pretty well into their new lives. They had already met Chad's roommate and new friend Ethan, and even though they didn't really talk, he seemed great. So she decided it was time to introduce her new friend Anika to the rest and what a better introduction to her group than a movie night.
*Hey! We're having a movie night at my place this Friday. Wanna join?* Iris sent a quick text to Anika.
Within minutes, Anika replied with an enthusiastic thumbs-up emoji and a string of excited messages. *Count me in! What are we watching?*
Iris grinned as she typed back, *Some classics, does pizza sound good to you?*
As Friday evening approached, everyone was already there, arranging cozy blankets and cushions on the floor.
"So tell me again, on a scale of 1 to 10, how pretty is your friend?" Mindy asked, her tone mischievous as she plopped down onto a cushion. Just as Iris prepared to respond, she swiftly threw a pillow at Mindy, who expertly dodged it.
"What? I'm asking an important question!" Mindy defended, her laughter echoing in the room.
"I agree with Mindy; I want to know too!" Chad chimed in, raising his hand like an eager student, a grin stretching across his face. He leaned forward, clearly invested in the banter.
"You both are disgusting. I'm not going to answer that," Iris said, rolling her eyes but unable to hide the amusement dancing in her gaze.
"So, like, a ten then?" Mindy shot back, winking at her brother, who snickered at the playful exchange.
Just then, the doorbell rang, slicing through their lighthearted conversation. Iris jumped up, a flutter of excitement in her chest, and rushed to the door. She swung it open to find Anika standing there, vibrant and cheerful, a large bag of gummy bears in one hand and a couple of cold beers in the other.
"Hi, girl!" Anika greeted as they embraced each other, stepping inside with a wide smile that radiated warmth. "Didn't know what to bring, so I brought my two faves!"
"Beer and candy? Yeah, everyone is going to love you," Iris exclaimed, grinning as she led her friend into the living room.
Chad was the first to approach, extending his hand with an inviting smile. "Hi, pleasure to meet you! We thought Iris invented herself a friend,".
"Asshole," Iris muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes at Chad's antics while stifling a laugh.
Ethan, Quinn, and Sam soon joined the introductions, each welcoming Anika with friendly smiles. Sam, however, approached a bit more cautiously. Still, she was as nice as she could be for Iris's sake.
Anika's gaze then shifted to the shorter girl in front of her, and her smile widened. "Ohh, you must be Tara!" They embraced warmly. "Iris talks about you all the time."
Iris's eyes went wide, and she felt a blush creep up her cheeks. "The fuck, no, I do not!" she protested, trying to sound incredulous but failing to mask her embarrassment.
Tara beamed at Anika, her confidence surging. Once she heard Iris's flustered response, she couldn't resist. "I mean, she just said you do. Can't get enough of me?" Tara declared, her tone playfully bold, reveling in the moment.
"I only talk about how much you annoy me," Iris shot back, grabbing a pillow and tossing it at Tara, who laughed heartily, her joy infectious.
Tara turned around just in time to see Anika mouthing to her, "No, that's not true," and the girl couldn't help but smile. Oh, Tara really liked Anika.
Tara moved closer, a playful glint in her eye as she threw the pillow back at Iris, leaning in as she did. "You're extremely red," she teased, enjoying Iris's flustered reaction.
"No, I'm not!" Iris protested, her voice a little too defensive.
"Like, actually crimson," Tara quipped, laughter bubbling in her throat.
"Go to hell Carpenter".
"I just love to annoy you".
"Yeah well I'm going to love to push you out of the balcony".
Anika then turned her attention to the last person she hadn't met yet. She found herself in front of a strikingly attractive woman with curly hair, who was staring at her with her mouth slightly agape, as if trying to process the situation.
"Hi, I'm Anika," she said, her smile bright and amused as she took in the girl's stunned expression.
"H...hi, I'm Min...dy," Mindy stammered, her cheeks flushing a deep shade of red. The moment was comically awkward, and both Chad and Iris exchanged glances, barely able to contain their laughter at the sight of Mindy's flustered face.
"Nice to meet you Mindy"
"Yeah same". Mindy came out of her stupor. "Please make yourself comfortable". And she proceed to show her around the apartment.
"It's not even her apartment". Iris said.
"Let her be gay in peace".
As the evening unfolded, soon laughter filled the room as they settled in. Mindy, strategically positioned herself next to Anika. Even with the movie playing, they all stayed up talking. Mindy and Anika continued to find ways to strike up a conversation with each other, it seemed that they had a lot in common. Anika cracked an extremely funny joke at one point, to which Mindy gave a loud snort.
"Did I really just laugh-snort? Oh no." She was embarrassed as Anika just giggled in endearment.
"It was cute".
Iris stared at her two friends lightly flirting with each other and she couldn't help but smile at Mindy's face, she was in complete awe as she listened to everything Anika had to say.
Well, mission get Mindy and Anika together just started.

Happy Birthday Kakashi!!!
My first ever contribution my all-time favorite husband hehe
First up, we've got a bday picmix:
Tumblr media
Birthday crown for the birthday boy!!!!!!!
Second, I also made a video edit:
I love Sabrina Carpenter and Kakashi, it's a great combo fr
Then lastly, I made my first ever y/n x Kakashi (and first ever Y/N fic in general):
You've just gotten off work with just enough time to spare for some good alone time, your introverted inner self really yelling at you for using up all of your social battery for that whole week. You just can't help it; busy days, given your work, meant socializing. And socializing meant dread. But that's all over now. You've got your pay check, a little less patience, and you're on your way to the quaint little bookstore you often go to. Getting a book shouldn't take you too long since the bookstore visibly barely has any other customers. Feeling daring, you treat yourself to the erotica aisle, thinking you can read it to yourself later and get a much needed release after all that work tensing your muscles. As you look over the shelves of books with varying degrees of spice, you hear someone's footsteps approaching. Maybe they like erotica too? You hope whatever force of luck is out there that they aren't judging you for being there. After all, you're both browsing the same aisle, so what right would they have? You pretend to occupy yourself with the titles on the spines, fluttering your fingers past them. "Excuse me," a deep, masculine voice graced your right ear, thickened with what sounds like a Japanese accent. Soon, you felt just a bit of force making you abruptly step forward to let the person rush past you. Your attention was pulled, and you end up looking just a little bit to your left to find a man readily kneeling on one knee to browse a specific row of the erotica specific. He looks so focused, so determined. With the book pulled from its row, you got a good look at the cover of a man chasing after a sultry woman in the cover. And that's when it clicked: you know that shelf's title! "Makeout Tactics?" You blurt out. The man turned to look at you from that distance—bless this man's hearing—and his eyes gleamed a dark grey. "You know this one?" Again, that thick accent, though it actually doesn't sound bad when it's paired with his deep voice. More like heavenly. After a brief moment of fawning over the man's voice and internally mulling over your embarrassment in that situation, you answered, "Y-Yeah," albeit with a bit of a fumble, "who doesn't?" You recall that the book was a nationwide sensation, and there are rumors of an upcoming movie adaptation. Why would this man be so surprised that someone else also knows of it? "Ah, yes…" The man mumbled under his breath, the gleam in his eyes from before gone in an instant. And all of a sudden now you feel bad. He looked so enthusiastic just now… Maybe most of the readers who made the novel sensational in the first place aren't exactly up for chatting about it? You purse your lips and look around for an answer, as if it would magically appear and write itself on the floor tiles. "New edition," he followed through and tapped the cover for emphasis. "Most only read the first book." You blinked and figured that makes sense. Looking up, you find that the man is now a few distances closer than you swear he was earlier and your eyes widen slightly as your cheeks flush. The man sported a white hoodie over his head but it did nothing to hide his handsome features at this angle. The strong jaw, bedroom eyes, and strong physique. Why is this man even in the erotica section when he can get 'it' anywhere?! "Hmm… Do you recommend it?" You step forward, joining him in that section, and you can smell the fresh scent of cologne from him in this proximity.
"I know!" He proceeded to give you a readily made piece of paper with two numbers labeled Guy and Kakashi respectively. "We make friends here in America! You can text us on that." Your eyes glanced at Kakashi every now and then. What a strange day. You take the piece of paper regardless and open your mouth to speak. "And we're off!" But Guy was already dragging Kakashi by the arm somewhere else before you got a word in. You shut your mouth and wonder... You grip the paper a little tighter. You can contact that cute guy with this.
so will you? cus i def will. anws that's all for my contributions today, thanks for viewingg

Self care w/ me & you & you ♡
Tumblr media
Pairing: Haijme Iwaizumi x fem!reader x Tōru Oikawa
WC: 1.3k
Genre: fluff, so much fluff
CW: fem!reader, poly relationship, self care night with iwa & kawa, kissing, slight cursing
˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖ ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖
"A what?"
A loud gasp was heard from the one and only Tōru Oikawa.
"Iwa-chan! Are you serious? Haven't you ever heard of a lover's self-care night? Oh Y/n-chan! Our relationship is failing!" Oikawa dramatically sobbed on my shoulder.
"To be fair, it really isn't something that's heard of a lot, Oikawa." I tried to reason with him as Iwaizumi scoffed and kicked a pebble that was in his way of walking.
"But if you truly want to, then I'll do it, and so will Iwajime." I smiled at them both, which got me a cheer from Oikawa and a gruff remark from Iwa to Tōru.
"You guys are such little kids. Go and change already; I'm going to go get everything ready. This sleepover is at my house, correct?" I got a thumbs up from Oikawa.
"Alright, see you guys there!" I waved them off, but not before snatching Hajime's volleyball jacket from him and blowing an air kiss to him.
Being in a poly relationship with those boys is pretty hectic most of the time. It's like taking care of two children and making sure they do not kill each other at the same time.
But nevertheless, I still love those crackheads. I still remember when we all got together; Oikawa had actually tried to get Iwaizumi and me together, even though he liked the both of us.
He just wanted his best friend to be happy, even if he couldn't have his happiness.
Reminiscing about that always makes my heart flutter with endearment. When I confessed that I was actually infatuated with the both of them, it was as if I was elated in that moment.
And ever since then, we've been in a heavenly correlation.
I broke away from my relentless thoughts as I headed up the stairs towards my room after telling my parents that they were coming over this weekend.
To be honest, I wasn't really sure what Oikawa meant by 'a lovers self-care night' but I do know that it's probably going to have to deal with facial care and things like that.
Gathering skin care, blankets, snacks, and movies is definitely some type of workout, and I should get an award for it. I slumped myself onto my bed and caught my breath.
I wasn't really into doing anything, so I definitely have low stamina.
The finished product looked way better. I made a huge fort in the middle of my bedroom, and inside are my portable projector for movies, string lights that I hung up, and bowls of snacks for us to eat.
All that was basically missing were my boyfriends, dinner, and a shower. I grabbed my phone and quickly ordered two boxes of pizza.
I didn't have a clue why I was so frantic about this whole ordeal.
Possibly because Oikawa always has everything planned out cautiously. Which is one of his positive skills that also contributes to him being a great partner.
After the pizza had come, I decided to go ahead and take my shower before they got here. I'm pretty sure that Oikawa is going to show up in his alien onesie that I bought him for his birthday.
It's covered head to toe with lots of small alien heads on it, and at the hood, it's green with the aliens eyes and mouth.
Soon, when I was finished with my shower, I put on a new set of pajamas that I had randomly bought.
Its fabric is really soft and has crescent moons, silver small stars, and gold stars, with random dots here and there splattered all over it. I absolutely love it; it fits right in with my love for astrology.
As soon as I pressed the last button from my top, the doorbell rang, signaling that Iwaizumi and Oikawa were here. I quickly rushed down the flight of stairs, almost tripping on a few, and opened the front door.
"Hey guys, come in. I've already set everything up for tonight." I explained as they followed me slowly up the stairs to my room.
"You shouldn't have been in such a hurry to open the door; you could have fallen and hurt yourself, Y/n." Iwaizumi assertively said this to me with a pointed look.
"I know, I know. I'm just excited." I answered sheepishly.
"Baby, we could hear you from outside; trust me, we weren't going anywhere." I mean, who would pass up seeing a face as beautiful as mine?" Obviously Oikawa said.
"Me," Hajime answered, "Yeah, definitely me too." I agreed with him, which made Oikawa pout and turn away from us.
"What do you say? You want to run away without Oikawa?" Iwa joked to me, "Why yes, of course, it's not like we're all in a relationship and love each other unconditionally or anything." I sarcastically agreed with him once again.
"If this is your way of saying you're sorry, then I accept it." Tōru said, but he still had a pout on his face.
I gave Hajime a look, as if telling him it's his turn to kiss Oikawa for when he gets annoying and pouty like this. He rolled his eyes, grabbed Oikawa's right hand, and yanked him down a bit for a kiss.
When he pulled away, his cheeks bloomed into a rosy pink tint, as did Tōru's.
I smiled wide when I saw them kiss. It's something that they always get nervous and flustered about.
"I see you smiling over there, Y/n. Don't think you're off the hook just yet." Iwaizumi said that and tugged my long sleeve over to them.
They both started attacking my face with kisses everywhere, built up laughter bubbled inside of me till I let it out.
"Okay! Okay! We better stop before this escalates to something unwholesome." I pulled away from their pecks and smiled at them. Tōru's face was basically saying, 'Can we please let it escalate?'
I glared at him for having indecent thoughts and engulfed myself in Iwa's arms.
"Oh Iwa! Save me! Oikawa is thinking unholy thoughts!" I cried.
"Shittykawa, quit being nasty." Iwaizumi hit him on the arm, and I finally took time to look at his pajamas.
They were, of course, godzilla, but it was a long-sleeved black shirt with a manga page of godzilla on it in the middle. His bottoms were black and white plaid PJ pants.
"Alrighty, so I've got facemasks, nail polishes, a pillow fort, snacks, and movies." I said, clapping my hands together.
"Ooh! I want to do my nails and a facemask." Oikawa almost jumped at the thought of getting his nails done.
"Okay, anything you would want to do, Iwa?" I giggled at Toru's childishness.
"No, you two go do that. I'll turn on a movie," he said, turning around.
"If you say so, baby, alright, Tōru, let's get this facemask on you." I turned around and faced him, but he already had one out and prepped his nails, ready for me to paint them.
"Kawa, you're so cute," I complemented while getting my green nail polish out and painting little aliens on his nails.
When they were dry and his facemask was off, we found Iwa under the covers on his phone, waiting for us.
"Hi babes! What movie did you put in?" Oikawa asked Iwaizumi while showing him his nails.
"Shrek, I thought that you might want to see yourself on TV tonight." Iwa smiled at him as Kawa gasped.
As much as I wanted to laugh, I decided to say, "Hajime, please apologize to Tōru." I finished as I laid on Oikawa's chest while Iwa wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Sorry, honey," he said sarcastically, just in time for the movie to play. I'll never get tired of these types of nights.
Just me and my boyfriend's cuddling and watching a movie with the occasional teasing.

sad to say i’m already yours colin zabel x gn!reader
a/n : okay omg it’s happening. beware of the cringe conversation and pathetic angst i really wanna punch myself in the face. no warning, this just too rush and lame and pretty basic also apologies if its weird cuz english isn’t my first im so so so so sorry. i just love colin sm. 1k wc.
this wasn’t the first time colin shut one's eyes to your presence. you’ve grown very used to his demanding job that takes energy, time, and even attention, which often makes you feel like you’re just a second priority. or perhaps not even counted. you think these all are pretty normal because colin is a very capable and responsible when it comes to work. and you get it.
you frequently texted him asking if he’s working late again. the dinner you’d prepared often ended up in the fridge. you waited for him with the light of the television or with an open book on your lap, while your eyes close from weariness. alone. his reply always comes with an apology buried in his deep voice. you get it.
sometimes you choose to sleep first, only to be awakened by the creaking of the door. your man, with his tired face, throws himself onto your shared bed.
"rough day?"
colin just nods, burying his face in the pillow with a long sigh.
“wanna talk about it?”
“can’t.”
he clearly didn’t have much contribution for the conversation he’ll just kill it. also, colin would likely act as if you weren’t there, so you just smile at his brief response. you actually not sure if you want to cry or laugh at that. the cases that colin handles are sometimes too horrific to share. besides, they’re confidential. you genuinely respect how dedicated your man is to his job. you get it.
colin turns his head slightly toward you, his eyes half-closed. you move closer, give him a quick kiss on his cheek and say goodnight. colin, already asleep, faster than you thought, doesn’t even flinch, nor does he say it back.
for days, communication between you two hasn’t been that intense— no dinners together, no movie nights like you used to plan on weekends, no dates. when was the last time you became intimate with each other? probably two weeks ago. or three? four? you get it.
“want me to make you some snacks?”
“no, that's okay baby.”
his voice was soft, and somehow, ironically you miss him so bad even though he was right next to you.
“i heard there’s a new coffee shop and they have like bunch of pet inside, interesting 'right?”
"uh-huh"
"yeah they have puppies! i really wanna go there,”
“sure. can we talk later, baby? i’m busy right now.”
although he comes home every day, sleeping in the same bed with you, his presence just clearly made you felt nothing but more alone. it hurts to see him come home every night as if you’re just a place to stay. never home, probably just a hostel. how cruel if he’d forgotten your efforts, how you filled his empty cup after what his ex did to him. you didn’t take the easy route to win him over. or maybe you were never capable to replace her in the first place? where did you went wrong? isn't it ironic to think how heartbreaking and sad that you already belong to him?
that day, he forgot his breakfast, and even the coffee you have made remained untouched. how long this has to continue? you don’t hate him, not for a second. it’s just that your efforts to make him happy always seemed to fail.
“colin, we need to talk.”
“about what?”
it takes courage for you to start this conversation. you’re actually scared to bring it up because colin might think you’re overreacting.
“i always tell myself that you don’t mean to hurt me— which makes it less painful. but you know what? you never really see me.”
you slowly touch his hand, feels the veins through his skin, strong beneath your fingers, firm and solid.
he gives you a crooked smile. “what’s wrong with you? of course i see you,”
“no. i know you’re busy with work, but… col, i’m right here. how long do i have to hold on to this if you keep acting like that? i can’t take it anymore,”
“baby, i have work to do,”
“oh can we talk later? we never really talk later. why can’t you at least recognize my existence that i’m here? talk to me,”
a bitter taste filled your mouth. it hurts to face colin's expression, one that looks disgusted with you—at least, that’s what you think. now he’ll even hate you because you crave his attention.
“okay, i’m sorry i’m always busy, it’s not my fault it takes up a lot of my time as if i have choices. but i promise—“
“no. stop,” you shook your head, protesting with what colin said.
“stop what?”
“you talk to me like i’m stupid. i’m not stupid. i didn’t blame your job, i would never,”
“i know you’re not stupid, but you did blame me for a stupid reason,”
there his classic maneuver. his words seem like a clever observation to shift the blame, but it's all wrong. that’s not the issue, it never was, and you’ve never blamed his job. your eyes start to fill up with tears, and soon they’ll spill over. the lines on colin's face looks vividly serious, gazing you with intense look.
“t-this is why your ex—"
colin’s hand quickly grabs your jaw. it’s not rough, but enough to surprise you and make you stop your sentence. you gasped at his furrowed brows, his expression so tense with his wide-open eyes.
“don’t.”
you immediately regret it. you didn’t mean to brought up his past, you truly didn’t intended to hurt him.
“please, don’t.” his hand is still gripping your jaw, but his fingers start to loosen, and his thumb gently strokes your cheek. your eyes are still locked with him, and then you realize that what you see in colin’s eyes isn’t anger. it was fear.
you throw yourself into his arms, burying your face in the crook of his neck, muttering apologies between soft sobs. colin wraps his arms around you, holding you tight by the waist. he hides his face on your neck, pressing his body into yours with all his strength.
“colin, i’m sorry, i’m so sorry…”
for a moment, he becomes a complete silent. letting you stay in each other’s embrace. then he finally speaks.
“don’t leave me. please, not again.”

Kisses of Fire [j.m.]
Tumblr media
Summary: You and Joel get caught up in a champagne-filled domestic dream, and your impulses are too strong to resist. Aka, you and Joel sing and dance in the kitchen until you can't deny your feelings any longer.
C.w: slight dub con because of alcohol consumption, mentions of parental loss, age gap (reader is in her 20s), unprotected pinv, lots of praise, pet names, Joel is a sweet talker, fluffy dancing and cooking with Joel, size kink?, creampie, squirting, oral sex (f receive), mentions of oral sex (m receive), breeding kink if you squint, mutual pining?, idk I probably missed some let me know!
A/n: Hello! I am alive! I started a new job and it's been pretty crazy but I am pleased to bring you my first Joel Miller fic and my first contribution to the Dbf!joel subgenre that has been one my favorites lately. enjoy!
~3.5k
“Joel, the sauce is going to burn.” you stumble through a laugh, trying to focus the little clarity of your mind on the chicken browning in your ceramic pan. He had insisted on opening a glass of champagne to congratulate you on your new job. It was sweet and dry, exactly what you liked, and it went down easy.
You were sitting around the coffee table gushing and hardly letting the man get a word out, and then he asked if you were hungry, and well you hadn't yet eaten and with your stomach growling at his words, he was very insistent.
In truth, you'd always looked out for each other, you'd help pick up Sarah from school, on occasion try new recipes in his much larger kitchen, and in turn, he'd fix your sink leak, install a new shower head, or even build you a new coffee table.
Here standing in his kitchen you felt so comfortable, stirring the pasta with one hand and rummaging through his cabinets for oregano with the other. It could've been the alcohol or the decade-long crush on the older man that was driving you wild.
With a rush of melody, you realized where he disappeared as the fun rhythmic beat of Be My Baby echoes through the living room and into the kitchen. Joel's words barely call above the song, “Oldies okay?”
You turn to answer him, only to catch him jamming out to the song behind you as he strides cool as a cucumber back into the kitchen. “More than okay.” You’re beaming, enjoying the music and the laid-back demeanor of his slight dance and groove.
You've cherished the few moments of joy since your father passed away a few years ago, singing with him and Sarah in the car, bullying Joel onto a rollercoaster, and summertime BBQs complete with movie marathons.
This felt different. Not only was Sarah noticeably absent, but there was an electric hum of something between you, it was almost palpable. Chalking it up to the alcohol, you settle back into your rhythm of taking care of the food in front of you with extra sway to your hips and occasionally singing into the wooden spoon like a microphone.
Joel returns to your side, stirring the thick sauce before grabbing a spoon from a drawer and tasting it. He moans around the cheap metal, throwing his head back in exaggerated ecstasy.
Hoping the heat from the stove disguises your blush, you carefully accept a spoonful he offers you after he cools with a few quick purses of his lips, humming in agreement.
“What did you say this recipe was called?” When he's been drinking, his Texan drawl lengthens, and you swallow around the lump in your throat, lord have mercy.
“Marry me chicken? It's said to get a man to marry you on its own…” you try and let your voice trail off as he grabs a colander and begins to strain the noodles for you, and before you can think you add, “I thought it would be good practice.”
You catch something in his face as he looks toward you, now mouthing the words to a song by Simon and Garfunkel, but your brain is a little too fuzzy to dissect it completely. Turning off the heat, you quickly add bacon and parmesan before tossing the chicken and sauce mixture on top of Joel's freshly strained pasta.
He hovers over you like he hasn't eaten for days, grumbling something about sweet torture as you garnish his bowl with freshly grated cheese. Turning your attention to the table you see a second bottle of champagne adorning a small dining set, and your flukes full and awaiting your attention, and your blush returns, what is happening to you?
Dismissing himself to turn the music lower, you set his plate down and settle into your chair beside his. Briefly, you consider refusing another glass, you were supposed to drive home, but his slightly tousled curls and the nonplussed smirk on his face as he walks into your field of vision wash over your body like a cool shower on a hot Austin evening, refreshing, revitalizing, and rewarding you with his simplistic beauty.
The way his eyes fell to yours with each silly verse, speaking to each moment you’ve swooned over him in private and cementing the swell of your heart. He sits and you both immediately dive into the food, moaning in unison at the salty and creamy flavor. “I get it.”
“For sure.” You confirm, shoveling more into your mouth as delicately as you can in your haste. “I’ll keep it in my back pocket for sure.” You both laugh and reach for your champagne for a toast.
“To the luckiest man in the world.” This time, he does a piss poor job of covering his shock, and you don’t dare let the moment slip from your grasp, setting your fork down, and reaching to settle your hand on his forearm, tenderly running your fingers over the rough-tanned skin.
The affection seems to coach a weight from his shoulders, as the tension in them drops and he meets your eyes with a deep and wicked sense of playfulness. Holding his gaze, and touching the lips of the flukes together you smile innocently, and hum as the cool bubbles coat your tongue and lift your confidence higher with every passing moment.
In a flash you feel the energy in the room shift, as silence flirtatious eye contact is shared between smaller sips of champagne and groans of delight, you find your eyes lingering longer on the base of his throat and the purse of his lips around the tip of the glass.
In your stupor you miss his devilish grin, he’s chasing the feeling of your gaze on his skin, drinking in the slip of your guard, and suddenly the incredible food you prepared for him is not nearly enough to sate him.
It’s his turn to stare, watching as your lips part in a soft pant as he takes a lingering swig from his glass, imagining how delicious this could pair with the taste of your pussy. Fuck, he’s so hopeless, you could talk him into anything, yet you sit and torture yourself undressing him with your eyes and practically projecting your dirty thoughts onto his chest.
When your eyes meet again your breath catches in your throat, some snarky comment you bury beneath the burning fire on your cheeks. “Joel…” it’s an invitation, a plea, and your heart stands still in its cage in the breath between your words and his mouth on yours.
His beard and moustache are rough against your lips, but the kiss is hungry, and not nearly as vulnerable as you feel. It's a clash of tongues and teeth, your bodies are drawn together like the world is stitching them together with desperate rough movements.
You can taste the rich sweet champagne on his tongue as it drags over yours, tilting your head back with a soft hand on your throat. Standing to his feet, he breaks the kiss with a reluctance you feel, but he’s ushering the plates off the table in a single trip, setting them on the counter to be dealt with later. The complaint dies in your throat, as you let your brain devour him in a primal sense. The broad expanse of his chest rising and falling in heavy needy breath, the veins in his neck as he tilts his head to return the same hungry stare, you don’t make it past his biceps before his hands are on your sides, directing you to stand but only for a mere second as your practically lifted onto the kitchen table.
His mouth is on yours again, hot and determined, your mind is made up, and he can feel it in each little whine he swallows. Confidence surges through him, bolstered by the hum of alcohol in his system, and he leans over you guiding you to your back, while he slots himself between your legs.
You part them quickly, wanting to feel him pressed against you more than you want to breathe, and rather than following you he kisses down the smooth skin of your calves and begins working on the button of your shorts, yanking them up and off with a dexterity that would surprise you had it been anyone else.
The thin cotton panties are not your first choice of sexy intimates, but it doesn’t seem to phase him as his gaze holds at the growing wet spot pooling in the fabric. His index fingers ghost over the seam of your pussy. “Are you sure?” He kisses the words across your skin, moving along the inside of your thighs as his stubble draws the nerves in your skin taught.
You blink your eyes a few times, almost not believing and basking in the warmth of his breath. Your mouth falls open in a pant as you throw your head back onto the table, in any other circumstance it would've hurt. “Yes…Joel…please.” Each word takes a lungful of air worth of effort.
There's a dark chuckle as if taunting you for being so pathetic, as he nibbles on the skin of your inner thigh, you feel goosebumps spread across all your skin, unaware if it's from shame or the heat of his mouth muttering sweet nothings into your skin.
“So pretty,” he coos letting two fingers trace over your slick panties, “Spread out on my table for me,” he presses harder but slows his movements to a beautifully slow taunt, “A fucking meal.”
The chair moves sharply back with his movement, as he pulls your underwear to the side and licks at your hole for his first taste. His mouth is feverish in appetite, licking and sucking and caressing each part of your sex, the assault is overwhelming at first, the movements so erratic you’re unable to focus on anything but trying to breathe. Cantering your hips against his mouth his rough palm stalls one of your thighs from closing, the hand is firm and warm commanding you to obey in just its presence. “More,” you beg, again the pleasure dulled as he slowed to listen.
His free hand goes to the waistband of your underwear running along its length and tickling the skin, before you feel a rough tug at the fabric and hear the tearing sound before you can even comprehend what’s happened. The fabric disappears and the soft table mat you are perched on protects you from the cool wood of the table. He mumbles more things into the flesh of your mound, and he kisses at the exposed skin of your hips, “Sweet little thing.”
You throw a hand over your eyes, losing yourself to the embraces and brushes of pleasure he showers you in. He settles back between your legs, pinning them to your chest with his arm and working two fingers slowly into your tight heat. The stretch is pleasant, and he lets his tongue lave over the top of your sex. “Joel.” You whimper feeling his knuckles curl inwards brushing against a bundle of nerves that has your vision lulling white. Each stroke feels like it's pulling your soul from your body, and an unfamiliar pressure builds as he coaxes the orgasm to the surface with his tongue swirling over your clit.
You explode, soaking the table and his hungry waiting mouth feeling the clear gush of liquid pool beneath you and coat your thighs. “Oh god, I’m sorry I-” you stammer, not having experienced this yourself before.
Joel’s attention snaps to your eyes, “Don’t.” It's a warning, his eyes dark and muddled with something animalistic you’ve only seen when he’s angry. “You’re going to do it again.” he sits straight, and you realize he’s still fully dressed as he stands on his feet, dwarfing you against the table, undoing the length of his belt.
Unsure if your breathing is coming fast or if he is moving slowly, undoing the buttons of his flannel, and exposing skin that you’ve seen countless times before, but as each button is freed and his shirt spills open, you struggle to keep your breath even. Thick tanned skin, soft to the touch but cords of practical muscle run through his pecks, and down his well-defined biceps hold your eyes still, as your heart clips away steadily. You mumble something about his muscles, fawning over him like you’ve done so many times before, but unafraid to get caught this time.
He peers down at you, maintaining eye contact through your spread thighs as you lay waiting gawking at him like you always have, the loose leather of his belt is tugging the jeans down his hips slightly exposing the soft flesh of his stomach and the feather-light trail of hair disappearing below his jeans. He longed to reduce you to a babbling drooling mess, he wanted to mark your skin his and fill you so full his traces would linger on your cunt for days. Days, he knew it wouldn’t be easy to stop, he felt like he was running downhill and his legs were jelly beneath him, hurtling towards some sort of self-destructive meltdown. But the sweet tang of you lingering in his mouth, splashed across his chest, on his dining room table.
You were perfect, even more so than he thought possible. He ached, the jeans strangling his thick cock, he longed to free himself and sink into you. “Come here.” he stepped closer, back between the welcome squeeze of your thighs, and he wondered if he would need a new table.
You sat up barely even with his chest and when you're close enough he brings you in for a deep and filthy kiss, giving you a chance to taste your slick from his tongue and to groan as your hand settles over the hard length of his cock in his pants. You allow a finger to trace over the outline surprised when your hand keeps finding more of him to play with, fighting the urge to squeak in delight as each kiss grows in fervor.
If Joel hadn't suggested otherwise, you would've happily been fucked to bliss on the table, but as one of his hands falls to cup the supple flesh of your ass you're lifted into his sturdy arms. Now even this isn't a first, but your cunt is pressed flat to the ripped muscles of his abdomen and you can't help but trail feather-like kisses and nips across the thin skin covering his Adam's apple, half tempted to suck a bruise into his skin as he whines lowly into hair.
He traverses the stairs with ease, fingers squeezing and playing with your ass as he does so. As you enter his room, he leans in for another searing desperate kiss, nipping and tugging on your bottom lip almost painfully slow.
The bed is plush, more so than you expect, the sheets feel cool and inviting as you settle into them, not daring to turn your attention away from Joel for a second. The moon is the only light in the room, but it's bright enough for you to drool over the large bulge he reveals as he shucks his jeans.
“Something you want darlin?” that all-knowing chuckle, call your attention to his face, always handsome but there's a depravity and a hunger in his eyes that is a little bit intimidating.
“I-” You struggle to decide what exactly it is you want to do, part of you wants to let him lay down and have you suck his cock dry, and the other part wants to see you bent in half stuffed full of his cum.
Your stumble only brings another dry chastising chuckle, “Don’t worry honey, I'll take care of you.” His dark boxers leave little to the imagination, the fabric pulled tight across him as the curve of his cock is pinned to the curve of his hip. He’s huge, bigger than you could’ve dreamed, and by the looks of it nice and thick, you would be happily limping around in the morning.
He plants his hands next to your legs, crawling up your body until he’s even with your mouth, his skin radiating heat and his mouth meets yours once more. The taste of you is still lingering in his mouth, spurring you on.
The clothed hardness of him presses against you, insistent and delightfully relieving the tortuous pressure building at your core. You run your hands against the muscles of his back, at first gently caressing but as his teeth skim your pulse you dig into the flesh with your nails. “Joel…” you whimper, knowing if he wanted to drag this any further you'd have no choice but to beg, there's something so addictive to his power and the way he looks at you. He knows what he's doing to you, he knows the way you shift your hips to grind against him is a silent plea, he wishes he could withhold longer, but each hitch in your breath coaxes more precome spilling into his boxers, he hasn't been this hard since he was a teenager.
He hushes you, soothing you with a hand running over your hair, and shoves his boxers down to free himself. He lets the weight of his cock slide over your sex, the thick head catching deliciously on your clit and allowing it to get coated in what's left of your cum. You both groan into another kiss, “Condom?” The question shocks you into reality briefly, but you quickly shake your head no, not bothering an attempt to form any words.
You swear you hear a whimper in his half-lidded chuckle, but you try to focus on the feeling of his body pressing against yours, the heat of him and the rich smell of his skin the taste of his mouth as he kisses you through a few more lazy strokes.
He runs a calloused hand over the soft skin of your throat before sliding it around and into the hair at the back of your neck, tilting your eyes to his As he lines up and slides in a single brutal thrust. Your body tenses at the stretch, but the pleasure is immense and Joel's mouth parts in a pant so beautifully you crack a wickedly seductive smile.
As he begins to canter his hips, his grip on your hair gets tighter, holding your eyes to his, his pelvis grinds delectably against your clit, as the ridges of his cock and the angle of his hips drag along your walls. You wonder if you'd been able to take it if it hadn't been Joel, you don't think you've ever been this fucked out in your life. He presses your legs slightly further apart nudging at your cervix, and grounding down.
The orgasm rips through you before you know it, the shake in your legs and your panted obscenities only encourage him further. “Fuck, good girl,” your hips love on their own grinding up fucking yourself through the climax as a second wave of white-hot pleasure soaks his abdomen and your thighs, “So good baby.”
Your head drops, body limp and wrecked he kisses along your cheeks and forehead, giving you a moment to catch your breath.
He moves quicker than you can register what's happening, his boxers are on the floor and suddenly you are straddled over his lap dropping down onto his cock as he buries his face in your tits. Tongue drags deliciously over your nipples as he lets you adjust to the new angle, you rest your head on top of his, kissing his sweat-damp hair and rocking your hips slowly. You didn't think he could feel any bigger, each slight rock nudges almost painfully against your cervix, words no longer forming in your brain and breath escaping in squeaks.
You let yourself get caught up in the moans and praise failing out of Joel nonsensically, the drag of his stubble on your skin overstimulating, you bear down on him and shiver as you hear the hitches in his breathing. “Where?” you almost miss it, his voice is hoarse, desperate, strained even.
“Cum inside me.” you can't suppress the smirk, “I want it.” It's your turn to pull his head back, looking deep into the rich dark brown eyes as they admire you, he chews on his lip. His shoulders hunch as you feel him twitch, his grip tightening on your hips as he uses the last bit of his strength to bounce you on his lap and fuck up into you as he cums deep and hard into your wrecked swollen pussy.
You suppress a shutter, you feel like you're made of gelatin and you slump against his body, going completely slack.
He waits a few moments to collect his wits and allows you both to catch your breath. “Should I start a shower?” You laugh, hoping to skirt over any sort of rebuff.
“Sure,” he massages the flesh of your ass, “I'll take care of the leftovers.” You're overwhelmed with a sense of relief, both letting out a massive sigh at the same time, and laughing once you make eye contact again. You feel his heartbeat against your chest and lean in for another kiss, the complicated stuff can come later, but the smile he gives you as he tilts his chin up slightly for the kiss, makes you feel like it's all going to be more than you could've dreamed of.

As an avid Spiderman fan, here’s my contribution to the glassspider/redspider au
So consider; charminghearts spiderverse au
I think Red as Miles Morales would work well in the long run, especially for the second movie(slight spoilers for Into the Spiderverse under the cut)
It obviously wouldn’t be exactly like the spiderverse movies, but I feel like something similar could be cool
First of all, Maddox would be the Uncle Aaron—he’s Red’s only friend, and her escape from her home life. He does fun(and dangerous) stuff with her—stuff that she would never get to do without him.
Instead of different versions of Spiderman from multiple different universes brought to Red’s universe, I think it would be cool if it was at least sort of time travel related.
I have a couple ideas for how this could happen:
One is that people from the past are displaced through time, bringing people like Bridget, Ella, and maybe some of the younger VKs to the current timeline.
Another Red and Chloe are displaced through time, being sent to the past like they are in Rise of Red, but they have no idea why they’re there or how they can get back.
Or Red(and maybe the QoH) are sent to a different universe—Chloe’s universe. Maybe QoH was in something kind of like Into the Spiderverse, and was sent to that alternate universe when she was younger, where she met Ella. Maybe she never wanted to go back, because back in her universe, she had no friends, nobody that cared about her.
And besides, she fell in love in this place, why would she want to leave?
But there was a problem: the glitching.
Bridget wasn’t from that universe, so the universe itself was actively trying to get her out—she didn’t belong there, and if she stayed too long, it could destroy her and everyone around her.
So Ella, who both didn’t want to die and didn’t want her only friend to die, tried to find a way to send Bridget back.
She became distant, sometimes completely ignoring her friend.
But when that didn’t work, she had to try something else—something that, no matter how positive the person would break their spirit and make them hate whoever did it.
What did she do? I haven’t figured that out yet.
So Bridget found a way to leave, broken and mad at the world.
What Ella didn’t know was that she would end up creating a monster.
Maybe Maddox works at a place like Oscorp, and they developed something that could, hypothetically, time travel.
And, of course, Red steals it, because why wouldn’t she take something that might be able to change her mother?
But before she can use it, she’s sent to another universe, where she meets one Chloe Charming, AKA GlassSpider.
What Chloe doesn’t know is that Red happens to also be a hero with spider superpowers.
But Ella notices something off about her daughter’s new friend, and she recognizes her, because she knew Bridget more than Bridget knew Bridget.
The time travel happens.
Plot twist: Ella used to be GlassSpider, and Bridget? Bridget was her biggest fan.
Eventually, Bridget finds out that her best friend is the new hero, and she was ecstatic.
Or maybe she finds out after GlassSpider does something terrible.
She’s distraught because how could they do that?
And then she finds out that GlassSpider was Ella.
Before Red is zapped away to another dimension, Maddox dies.
Who killed him?
RedSpider’s main enemy; the Queen of Hearts.
Anyways that’s all I have so far:p

And now for something new
So, here's something I was never planning on doing, but I just couldn't shake the idea... Thanks Ken Penders is gaining a sister blog featuring an entirely different comic franchise!
Introducing... Thanks Steve Ditko, a blog where I read the Earth-616 Spider-Man comics, starting all the way back in the '60s! It's gonna be much more casual and less thorough than how I run things here on TKP, though, which I'll explain in a sec.
Tumblr media
If seeing me post weird bits from old Spider-Man comics sounds fun and you need no further info, then just head right on over to Thanks Steve Ditko. But for longtime TKP readers, I know you probably have questions...
Number one: Why?
Spider-Man's always been my favorite superhero, and with the Spider-Verse movies kicking ass and my excitement building for the new Insomniac game, I've been in a Spidey mood. Inevitably, a thought occurred to me: Maybe I should actually read the comics that everything else is built off of and see the wildly varying contributions of all the original creators, rather than filtering them through big budget adaptations. If I can power through One Piece and all these other manga with hundreds of chapters, it can't be that hard... right?
And, well, after a few issues I quickly realized that my options were to either clog up my other accounts with random Spider-Man panels for years, or to just make a side blog. And so the side blog was born.
Two: Will this blog replace Thanks Ken Penders?
NO!!!!!!!!!
Okay but prove it
To allow the two to exist side-by-side, Thanks Steve Ditko will have a different format than what Thanks Ken Penders developed. Rather than an in-depth guided tour that critically analyzes every story beat of every issue, TSD will just be a place for amusing panels and brief thoughts as I casually read the comics at my own pace.
If you've seen me make a few tweets about reading Spider-Man recently, I'm basically just moving that to a dedicated Tumblr. It's a place for me to dump these things so that it doesn't fill up my media tab on Twitter for the next decade. (You know, assuming Twitter is still around in a decade.) There will be many issues where I only post two panels that I thought were funny. There will be issues where I don't have anything to say at all. Maybe I'll reach a run that I just cannot get into, and I start skipping around more. Who knows!
This may sound similar to what I thought this blog would be before it blew up. Aside from the simple fact that there's already mountains of Spider-Man commentary out there and therefore less of a void for me to fill, one of the main steps I'll be taking to avoid repeating the past is not enabling an ask box on TSD. I do not need people to ask me to go into ten times more detail on everything. I do not need to write seven essay-length responses to questions about Spider-Man minutiae every day. I do not need a place for people to chide me for not covering certain scenes, issues, or ancillary series.
It also won't have any kind of update schedule. I'm trying to keep it very casual. I'm reading these comics at my own pace, and if I feel like sharing a moment or commenting on something while doing so? It goes there. That's it.
(On the subject of format changes, I'm also listing the issue, writer, and penciller in the body of every post. This is a thing I wish I'd done on TKP so that people didn't misattribute every weird Archie Sonic panel I post to Penders.)
Three: So when will TKP come back from hiatus? You said it'd come back after you finished SLARPG!
I don't know! Sorry. I have a couple things on the backburner right now for TKP, but I'm not sure when I'll get back to proper updates where I read more comics.
I wanted to bring TKP back this year, and that's still possible. The main hurdle is that I want to reread my own archive (again) as a refresher, which is, uh. A lot of posts. I've developed a high standard for myself on here, and I feel like I wouldn't be doing my job right if I forgot half the ongoing subplots and character arcs and didn't bring them up in my analysis. Especially when I'm discussing the work of an author as obsessed with continuity as Ian Flynn. Unfortunately, the nature of this blog means that every time I go on another long hiatus for Life Reasons I have even more comic continuity to catch up on than last time.
(This is a big part of why I'm making Thanks Steve Ditko an extremely casual blog instead of promising to become a Lore Expert on 60+ years of Marvel.)
Mostly I've just been very burnt out this year after having finally finished a video game that took almost eight years to make. I haven't really had the energy for any creative projects, including TKP. But I feel a little bit of a spark here with Spider-Man, so I'm chasing that feeling to try to get back into the swing of blogging about comics - no pun intended.
So, basically, bear with me on this as I start this low-energy side project. But hopefully folks will enjoy Thanks Steve Ditko as its own thing, too.
Look forward to goofy shit like this
