There’s something about this, the way simply standing in the kitchen and talking, has him all over you and he can’t help it.

It had been a long week, and when you had proposed to possibly stay in tonight, Hercules was all but over the moon at the idea. He was exhausted, he couldn’t be bothered with attempting to act bummed about not going to dinner.

In fact, he rather it be at home with you, in this moment, right now.

“Do I have something on my face?”

You end your sentence and begin another with a question, to which his eyes flick up a bit to reveal that he was not meeting your eyes the entirety of that conversation.

“What? No, you don’t.”

“Then why are you looking down?”

It’s not something he could easily explain, and in truth, he would have to look down regardless, however, he was just caught staring at your lips.

“Oh? Oh—no reason, must have zoned out. What is it that we were talking about?”

He can see it in your eyes, the suspicion that still lingered, but you moved on anyways, for now.

“We were just going on about work this week, that’s all, I…”

His eyes move downwards once more, and it’s an unconscious movement. The minute your lips start moving, he can’t help it, he just wants a kiss from you so bad—

“You’re doing it again!”

“What, y/n? Doing what?”

“Stop lying, Mulligan, I know there’s something on my face that you think is so funny���“

You nudge past him, headed straight for the bathroom to see whatever he was so amused by, annoyed that he would let such a thing go on for so long.

To your surprise, there was nothing there, and in the reflection of the mirror, all you can see behind you is Hercules laughing.

“I told you, there was not a thing there.”

“Then why were you staring at my face like that?”

“Oh, no, y/n, not your face.”

The redhead comes closer to your personal space, forcing you to turn as he cages you against the sink, his hands coming on either side of your body.

“I think you know how enticing your lips are, and all I wanted was your affection.”

You can feel the heat crawl to your cheeks, but you can’t help it, the way you look up to see Hercules Mulligan staring down at you so admirably.

“You could have just asked,”

You say, hand of your own coming to his chest, forcing him to make the next move.

“I could have,”

He says, leaning closer, enough that you can see the greens in his irises as they blink at you.

“But where is the fun in that?”

“Oh, leave it to you, to make everything about fun—mmph!”

He cuts you off, and to no avail, the kiss is just as sweet as it always is, yet, there’s something a little more there.

“All that,”

You breathe, pulling away enough to catch his attention.

“For probably the laziest kiss I think you’ve ever given me.”

It’s a taste of his own medicine, surely.

You move around him, leaving him to sputter a response of some nonsense, trailing after you as you begin back towards the kitchen.

“Did I mention how tired I was? Didn’t think that would translate though…”

He’s still after you, hot on your heels as you check on dinner in the oven.

“Actions speak louder than words.”

You shrug, and he scoffs, hands coming to his hips as you won’t turn to face him.

“I am starting to think that—!”

You should just continue to tease him, yet, somehow Hercules has this thing about him that you can never leave it alone.

Taking fistfuls of his collar, you yank him down, kissing him squarely on the lips as he smiles against your mouth.

“There,”

He says, mumbling his words.

“That is what I was looking for.”

“Mhm.”

You say, gently bumping your forehead against his.

“That’s what I though.”

Hamilton Headcanons Pt.1!

okay here i am finally with some hcs!! these ones are specifically about alexander and his pals. i'll probably do these in the same order that i did the ref sheets!

(some of these are specific to my au, in lawful cadence)

alexander:

- always wrote way past the provided lines on state exams

- obviously works a lot, but after an incident with the friend group in college he makes sure that he makes time for his friends

- he doesn't talk about his past, or anything before college really, and no one brings it up

- his favorite holiday is halloween and he is very. intense about it

- wants to grow a beard but at the same time is afraid of how he'd look. therefore does not have a beard yet

john:

- volunteers a lot in his free time and is an activist

- honestly is super reckless, but calls it being spontaneous

- usually goes to bed at like 3-4am because he's a bartender

lafayette:

- pretends he doesn't understand people when they're being obnoxious or rude, especially at his restaurant

- he is very empathetic, but also logical, so people tend to go to him when they need advice

Ctimene Headcanons Her Relationship With Her Family (+Polites and Ares)

(+What she mainly calls them)

Mom (Anticlea): 8/10 I can see Anticlea disapproving of Ctimene being a bit of a tomboy but loves her regardless like any good (I said good, not great) mother would but is still vocal about her wishing that Ctimene would act more like a girl than a warrior. Despite this they have a good relationship from their often gossiping together, spending time together, to the times of Ctimene having a bad day only to be held in her mother’s arms like she always did for her and Odysseus since they were infants.

Father (Laërtes): 4/10 Laërtes and Ctimene used to have a good relationship before he went crazy. He would give her gifts and treasures he knew she would like, he would tell her stories of heroes, and he often carried her around. But when he was crazy he would sometimes not recognize her and treated her like a stranger until Anticlea reminded him who Ctimene was. They would have their moments but Ctimene wishes they could go back to what they once were.

Big Brother (Odysseus): Odysseus would be to Ctimene like Fergus (Merida’s father) is to Merida. He wouldn’t care that Ctimene would ‘do things a princess shouldn’t do’ if anything I feel like he would take pride in being the first person to say teach her to shoot a bow and arrow (Merida and The Challenge reference). And despite having rival war gods as their Patrons they have a more healthy sibling relationship than Ares and Athena. Let me paint you a scenario: If Odysseus were to win against a duel between them he would help her get up before ruffling her hair and instructing her what she did wrong and how she could improve. But if Ctimene were to win the duel she would cheer in excitement before doing a victory dance and saying how she was the best (classic sibling behavior). Odysseus knew that he wanted her to be happy so when he noticed that his friend Eurylochus would look at her as though she was the only person he was seeing and she would smile awkwardly at him he knew. So when his best friend asked to marry her he knew his answer not caring to hear the rest of his friend’s claim and unknowingly accepted a dowry for Ctimene marriage that he later gifted her as a wedding present. He is the number 1 Eurymene shipper. Through it all they both know that they can at least trust each other even if it feels like everything and everyone is against them.

Polites: Best friends who annoy Odysseus for fun sake’s. The number 3 Eurymene shipper. Knows what cheers her up when she’s down. Was adopted as another brother by her. Was either the flower boy (Hercules Mulligan) or Man of Honor at her wedding.

Ares: The number 2 Eurymene shipper. Even though Ctimene knew the story of Ares as a warrior and how he represented the bad parts of war she couldn’t help but admire the god for how caring he seemed to be with Aphrodite, Artemis (helping her with the Amazon warriors), Hera, and his daughters even killing a son of Poseidon because he had assaulted his daughter if anything she was shocked that not that many people in their kingdom worship him but she did. She made a little alter dedicated to the God of war and would always make sure that it was up to standards for the god. When he chose her as his champion she was ecstatic. As he trained her she began to view him as a father figure and she knew he cared for her like a daughter even if he never admitted it.

I'd like to imagine in the "You and I, do or die" part of "My Shot," John has his arms around both Hamilton and Oliver, but is looking mainly at Oliver during the "do or die" part

he def drags her everywhere, even when they were kids; during "Winter's Ball," if he was going somewhere, Oliver would be dragged behind him

Guys you don't u n d e r s t a n d what I'm craving for.

I don't know what you think about this, but I am really craving for some John Laurens/Lafayette/Hercules Mulligan content

Like, THEM AS A TRIO before they met Hamilton.

I think they hadn't known each other for long before that, but honestly, I look at those three together and can only think "Look how good friends they are!!! They probably exploded some place together before, and could possibly sink a ship if they wanted to."

Yep, purely and utterly c h a o s.

They most likely met because of the revolution, and bonded over their will of kicking some redcoats' asses.

I like to believe Lafayette was the one to introduce Laurens and Mulligan to each other, and honestly, I think even himself regrets this a little sometimes.

Most of their time together, they'll just hang around, cursing the British and talking about their plans to the future when the US becomes an independent nation. Other times, they'll just get drunk and talk a lot of shit and laugh like there's no tomorrow. At this point, people are just used to how loud they are.

Laurens probably proclaimed himself as the leader of their trio, and sometimes the other two will look at him like "John you are not our leader pls stop" but mostly they leave him be. Ah, and since I got cursed with the Workshop version of the musical, I just now got the headcanon that Laurens is the type of person that will say "shit" at every chance he gets.

Lafayette, you could say, is probably the most sensible one out of the three. I mean, yes, he loves to get into confusion with his friends, and will probably laugh at them if they or someone else do something really stupid. But if he knows when things will get serious, he's just like "hahaha non." He also curses a lot in French when he's irritated. Laurens and Mulligan get the poker face when this happens.

If you thought that Laurens and Hamilton were obnoxious, oh look who we have here, HERCULES MULLIGAN!!! The man likes some fight and confusion, since he's just tired of his life as a tailor's apprentice. He's that one friend who'll make fun of you if you give him the slightest chance, but if someone else even DARES to mess with you, he'll be like "YOU WANNA FIGHT, MAN?! YOU MESS WITH MY BROS, YOU MESS WITH ME!!!!". He basically calls himself the "bodyguard" of the gang. Oh, and since he's the oldest of the three, he also will say he has some authority over them. Laurens most of the time will fight him against it. Lafayette will either stand to the side watching them kill each other and make fun of them, or will join the fight (most of this stuff happens when they're way too drunk).

You can imagine at this point that, by the time Hamilton joins them, things will just get MESSIER. It's difficult to say if they corrupted the poor young man, or if it was him that made them even worse. And poor Burr a lot of times has to deal with these four together and he just wants to disappear.

• Alexander once bet with Lafayette who knew more curses in French. Again, Lafayette. A French native speaker. And Hamilton dared him anyway. Believe it or not, they got in this discussion for hours, and in the end, they decided it ended in a draw. But just because Hamilton was way too stubborn.

• In "Right Hand Man — Workshop ver.", Hamilton clearly says himself to be the "leader of the gang", and all the others answered "Yes, indeed". It was just seconds after that Laurens noticed it and turned to Mulligan and Lafayette saying "Why when he's the one declaring himself as leader, we just agree with it????" and they're like "We dunno, we just want to shoot some redcoats".

• I bet Lafayette and Herc noticed the sexual tension between Laurens and Hamilton even before they two.

• Mulligan must look intimidating, but really, he gives the best and strongest hugs. Once Hamilton got out of breath in a hug with him. Because, compared to Herc, Alex is t i n y.

• Oh, yeah, the three of them won't spare HamHam from the height jokes. Once, Laurens jokingly said he looked cute when angry, because he had a "baby face". Alexander proceeded to lecture, not only him, but Lafayette and Mulligan too, for the next three hours, saying that: 1 — Laurens was barely some centimeters taller than him; 2 — "Get some beard before you talk about 'baby face', bitch"; 3 — He points out that, it doesn't matter his height compared to them, it didn't stop him from fitting his shoe into their asses.

• When drunk, these four get very clingy. And when I say very, it's because it's VERY. It won't be uncommon to see them either hugging each other, singing a drinking song together, patting each other in the back, giving funny nicknames to each other, and stuff like this.

So... yes. Very chaotic group of friends.

I fucking love them.
