One thing I think will be a cool edition in TWP is the swords, lol.
We have Ash and Janus who obviously have Phaesphoros and Heosphoros. (phaesphoros on top and Heosphoros on the bottom. Both of these depictions our from the TMI graphic novels, Vol 1 and Vol 6 )
I’d presume that Janus has Phaesphoros and that Ash has Heosphoros (or maybe just ash has both). I can definitely seeing them using these swords throughout the entire series. I think there’s a chance that Ash will get ahold of both swords at some point and maybe even give one away. Maybe too Dru or maybe even giving Clary one!
Also on a side note, I really like how the graphic novels depict them as Katana’s, I like how unique it makes it compared to the other swords we see throughout the series.
There is also the sword of Durrendal. Now if this sword were to go to anyone, I definitely think it would go to Kit.
Now, of course we know that the sword faded after it had served its purpose butttt I don’t think it’s served all its purpose. I mean it IS a sister sword to Cortana.
Cassie has said that the plot of TWP will loosely follow Arthurian legend. While I am not familiar with this legend, I do know that Arthur does pull a sword called Excalibur from a rock. I know this is a common theory, but I could genuinely imagine kit pulling this sword out of a rock.
Anyways, can’t wait to see them all being badasses and kicking demons!

I like making pixel art, and I make pixel art every few weeks or so. This morning, I made a Heosphoros Devotion book (which I've added to Twitch and Discord), featuring a simplified version of my Heosphoros Sigil (second image). Maybe I should do pixel commissions? Could make game sprites...

The origins of Lucifer (1/2)
Lucifer should first be understood as a reference to Venus. The "star" that appears after sunset and just before sunrise was called by Isaiah (14:12) hêlēl ben šaḥar, or "the shining one, son of dawn".
That was translated to Greek as ὁ ἑωσφόρος ὁ πρωὶ ἀνατέλλων, or "Heosphoros, raiser of morning". Heosphoros, in turn, means "bringer of morning", much like the common Greek name for Venus, Phosphoros, meant "bringer of light".
Lucifer is a direct translation of Heosphoros, or more precisely of Phosphoros: indeed, the Latin name translates to "bringer of light", rather than "bringer of morning".
It is notable that the Hebrew text speaks of a son of dawn and the Greek and Latin texts reference a bringer of dawn or light. (There were, of course, other ways of calling Venus among the Greco-Romans, notably reflecting the evening aspect of the planet: Catullus called it Noctifer.) At any rate, the astronomical reference was quite clear before Lucifer began being associated with the Devil.

trying to understand that goddamn speech from wolfy. help.
this is part one of this post
˚⁎⁺˳ ✦ ༚ spoiling imaginarium theatre. for free!!
so wolfy’s boar story + nicole line.
“ Why not wolves? Many a tale has wolves in it, and even the compendium personally burned by Madame Mage had a wolf character!
It is said that the Boar Tribe were once all wild boars, but the boars did bad things, so the master wanted to punish them. The master took out a rusted set of scales, and told the boars to stack their own things on both sides. If the scales tipped to one side, they could leave.
But the scales were so rusty that putting just a small amount of weight was not enough to move them.
Those boars who placed their heads on the scales became wolves, lizards, and snakes, leaving only their strength. Those who offered their muscles became rabbits, leaping three paces to a bound, instinctively guiding people to treasure.
But there was one boar who placed things evenly on both sides, until the rusted scale broke right down the middle...
And so she became a mute person — for she had placed her voice upon the scales as well.
She is also a friend of Madame Mage, and I hear she likes to speak in people's heads! “
tldr: the seelie got their husk forms via Scale Punishment for a ‘bad thing’ they did. they were punished by a 'master'. (in this context, it may be implied to be PO.) and, depending on which metaphorical parts of themselves they gave away, they turned into multiple different creatures. btw, it's hard to tell how metaphorical the scales are. they may very well be actual scales because mihoyo is just cheeky like that.
“Legends of Jueyun” and "Amethyst Crown". they differ, which leads me to believe that "legends" is not to be taken literally, at least anymore. nabu malikata's account is much clearer: the Scale Punishment might have happened right after the Second Who Came (Nibelung potentially), when PO was anxious of their empire crumbling. and that Scale Punishment was the great exiling of seelies, "divine envoys of heaven".
Arama in “Aranyaka: Part III - Nursery of Lost Dreams, Part 2: For the Children of the Past”: the ‘bad thing’ should be falling in love with humans. i interpret this as protecting humans at large, as a race. or maybe creating nephelim. or maybe that's one and the same. "Song of Seelie": the 'Boar Tribe' likely lived in the Dark Sea and/or Abyss, as that's where the seelie are said to have had palaces before being exiled.
"The Little Witch and the Undying Fire": teyvat's people (imo it's unclear if that's the UC or current ones) are nephilim — fusions of angels (probably seelie) and regular humans.
funny thing: little husk seelie + nabu malikata and vishaps have horns and their designs seem to be based on the same animal — varieties of sea slugs. they are also connected to the moon sisters, not only through “Legends of Jueyun” but also because of something you may not want to read, so skip ahead. here i go:
now, goddess selene/luna (depends on the religion) in her description looks like nabu malikata and the seelie ladies who appear in various stories; she's always a beautiful pale woman (see for example "drunkard's tale"), and in nabu malikata's case, they're both horned. regardless, selene/luna are stemming from the moon gods like men and mah, and all of those guys always have the visual of horns of a crescent rising behind. and the very old babylonian moon god suen/sin/nanna is additionally the god of cattle. the husks of seelies we interact with in game have tiny horns themselves, too (so nabu malikata isn't an outlier).
there's an achievement in enkanomya called "phosphorus's guidance" that you get by following seelies to their courts, which implies phosphorus being, like, either all seelies collectively, or, more likely, their ancestor from "legends of jueyun". phosphoros literally means 'morning star', they are the god of planet venus (sometimes called morning star). another word is heosphoros which means 'torch-bearing' and that's how hecate and diana appear in their iconology. additionally, selene is a sister of the goddess of dawn eos. with dawn comes the morning star, venus is mainly the goddess of love, her name meaning 'desire', and eos's description is overwhelmingly just how lusty she was. in roman mythology lucifer's mother is aurora, which etymologically leads us to, again, eos. lucifer literally means 'light bringing', and is not only the name of the christian devil, but also diana's title -- lucifera. her name, btw, means 'divine, heavenly', and 'morning sky'.
tldr: phosphoros (the seelie god or something according to a genshin achievement) is basically diana, the moon goddess.
˚⁎⁺˳ ✦ ༚
personal speculations
✦ rabbits — seelie husks. offered (at least) their physical bodies, soul. maybe that's control of their fate, power to change anything themselves "A Song of Seelie": "stripped of all that the body once held close and [stripped of] the soul once held dear"; "Ay-Khanoum's Myriad": "stripped of their minds"; Wolfy: "guiding people to treasure".
✦ wolves — khaenriahns and/or surtalogi and/or a figure surtalogi is mirroring. offered (at least) 'head'. “A Drunkard’s Tale”: “what you humans call wine, we wolves call the abyss”; this post and this comment thread on surtalogi’s connection to woobakwa and the wolf pup in “The Boar Princess”.
✦ boars — survivors of the Unified Civilisation, such as Enkanomiya and possibly Sal Vindagnyr (see "Dragonspine's Glacial Secret"). offered nothing? if they even exist still after the Scale Incident, which they may. since boar princess travels with not-boar animals who are still considered to be from her kingdom. this is a can of worms however since the boar princess was theorised to be the princess of sal vindagnyr.
✦ foxes — some weird spirit guys. i don’t know. definitely have an istaroth connection. “The Dandelion Sea” whole; the wind spirit turning into a fox in "A Drunkard's Tale"; "Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II - Transient Dreams, Part 3: Radiant Sakura": makoto's plan (ei planting the sakura in the plan of euthymia) involved istaroth, and i the cutscene of it coming to fruition foxes come along.
✦ turtles — ambiguous.
✦ lizards — something something vishaps this is not in my competence. offered (at least) 'head'.
✦ snakes — ambiguous. offered (at least) 'head'. maybe khaenriah, another group or all instead of wolves, simply because dainsleif’s contemplation is ourobouros.
✦ nicole — gambler. went all in. 99% turn away just before they hit it big. you should bet your house your wife your kids and your organs. offered (at least) her body, voice, possibly 'head' and/or soul.
✦ nabu malikata — i don't know anymore. read fun fact below. i don't know what she offered. should i be afraid? fun fact: there's a mathematician called Nicolo Tartaglia Fontana. first is his actual name, second is a nickname, third is a (possible) surname. HM. this was the only link connecting childe to nicole before, so i thought it could have been a fluke. BUT NOW, since 'wolves' with nicole are of one species originally, and assuming the wolf in "the boar princess' references surtalogi... "The Dirge of Bilqis, Part 6: The Eternal Dream, Ever Lush": when traveler sees nabu malikata in liloupar's memories, they describe her gaze as being faced with "nothingness". oh what's that. childe just happens to have this weird detail where his eyes don't have a sparkle. HM HM OH THERE'S MORE. "Ay-Khanoum's Myriad": jinn addressing nabu malikata "Please, dream-mother, mistress of forgetting and wine, we beg of you — remain queen of this garden." DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT WINE IS. WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'DREAM-MOTHER'. LIKE NIGHT-MOTHER?? *grits teeth* i don't know what exactly is going on there but this may be related to the 'head'. purple (colour of padisarahs) is the colour of abyss and hexenzirkel and the imaginarium type in hi3 too and don't dare tell me this is not important.
what the fuck is head
#i may be good at collecting information but i am not at good at connecting the dots. so you take this and have fun.#funny thing. scale's a something gods of justice wield. you know like egeria. so in mythos she and diana are often connected#egeria sometimes being the servant.#and genshin's egeria was created by shade of life (wings of merciful wrathful waters).#which now makes my connection list of “shade of life = creator of the seelie” two. which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.#genshin theory#genshin impact theory#hexenzirkel#genshin lore#genshin impact lore#enkanomiya#khaenriah#moon sisters#nicole reeyn#surtalogi#phanes#four shades#vishaps

underrated things i’m excited for in Wicked powers
everybody’s talking about kitty and morgenthorn and ghost!livvy and the cohort and lucifer so here are some things i’m excited for in twp that not many people have mentioned
- clary and ash relationship
- clary and janus meet and greet
- more of julian being a big brother to kit
- on top of that julian figuring out about ash
- reveal of Thule!simon’s fate (everyone’s talking about Thule!kit but simon is the only one of the thule!tmi gang to not be mentioned in qoaad)
- hopefully more scenes of tavvy, max, rafe, and mina
- jocelyn and luke’s reactions to ash
- clace and sizzy double wedding (at this point both tmi and tda have ended with weddings so i feel like twp has to end with a wedding)
- thais’s adventures and romances (honestly, she might be the character i’m most excited for just cause we don’t know anything about her yet other than that she doesn’t take anyone’s shit)
- also hopefully kierarktina helping kit out with his first heir stuff
- cassie said it was going to be based on arthurian legend so there better be a sword in the stone moment (my money’s on it being kit because ash will probably already have heosphoros and kit also talked to jace about having a signature weapon in qoaad) (or it could be dru. that would be badass)
- also speaking of heosphoros, clary’s reaction to seeing heosphoros again
- seeing adaon again (he’s honestly such an interesting character i hope we see more of him)
- unpopular opinion but i hope we see more of jaime (i don’t think he should fall in love with dru but he’s a really interesting character and i hope the two of them become better friends)
that’s all i could think of for now but i might add more later

I want to pick a new name for my lucifer character to set him apart a bit, and since you're the resident lucifer apologist we all adore i wanted to hear your two cents! (I debated something like Star or Citrine...which could've worked if they weren't already names id used lol.)
I have some notes on him if you'd be interested! I just love all your thoughts on Lucifer <33 feel free to ignore this
ABSOLUTELY would love to see notes on your interpretation of lucifer!!! i love reading different takes on his characterization/motivations because he has so much to explore about him as a figure. for names, i would tend to use venus and the mythology around it as a source of inspiration - helel may be some persona/smt bias showing, but it's a very good choice for him as the helel/el myth is likely a root of the satan/god story (as god likely evolved from the figure of el) helel is also famously used in the hebrew language version of isaiah, when referring to the king of babylon by comparing him to that myth (which is the portion of the bible once translated as "lucifer"). if you want something more removed, there's also the greek heosphoros or "dawn-bringer", one of the grandchildren of aphrodite. and and the evening star equivalent of "lucifer" in latin is "vesper", which is actually a personal favorite of mine - i tend to believe all the angels that fell had their names changed upon becoming demons (like. i doubt beelzebub was called as much in heaven lol), and so lucifer became vesper as the king of hell. his relationship to venus is just pivotal to me, as it is both the morning and evening star which is suiting for the story of his fall. i hope that at least gave you a couple ideas!!! and that me relapsing into my lucifer phase from when i was like. 14 can be helpful to someone ToT
#please tell me about your lucifer.....ouughhh#it was inevitable i would return to him they say what you love at 14 always comes back when you become an adult....#mine just happened to be my lucifer phase.....#cake answers

So I watched Good Omens 2 for the first time the other day (and I'm being very brave and normal about that ending, thank you), and my brain went "Well all of the angel's names end in -'el', which makes sense cause that means 'God', but Lucifer and Satan don't fit into that naming convention, so where did those names come from?"
And turns out, the answer is fascinating.
The name Lucifer is from Roman paganism and was originally the name of the planet Venus and son of the goddess Aurora (goddess of the dawn). He was also called Phosphoros or Heosphoros, and he heralded of the dawn (it's cute that he's job was to announce that is mom was there)
The original mention of "Lucifer" in the Bible was actually a reference to a fallen King of Babylon, but the translation of the word that means "morning star" to Lucifer has since been abandoned by scholars. This is why historical context of Bible verses matters!
The motif of a being striving for prominence in heaven and then being cast down to the underworld originates in the motions of the planet Venus, also known as the morning star. This motif in myth "The fall from heaven motif is also in Canaanite mythology with Attar trying to get the throne of Ba'al and failing
And then, because I know Satan as a figure isn't really a thing in Judaism, I wondered how he got into Christianity
the Hebrew word "satan" just means "accuser" or "adversary" and in the Old Testament is applied to anyone as an antagonist in the narrative, angels and humans alike
In between the writing of the Old and New Testaments, there was a lot of empire building by Persia and Rome, which led to a lot of contact between religions and idea sharing. One of the ideas that was popular at the time was the separation of Good and Evil into rival forces from Zoroastrianism. While good and evil figures exist in all mythologies, this influence seemed to basis for this binary world view in Christianity
In the New Testament, a lot more references to a satan were added, normally referring to any force that opposed early Christianity, and over time they were conflated and attributed to one being/the Evil Side. The way people talked about it went from someone acting as a satan to people acting as agents of Satan
Then! In looking into all this, I found a mosaic that's thought to be the earliest known depiction of Satan from the 6th century depicting the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats and it's very surprising
(image: mosaic depicting three haloed figures on a rocky green field, Jesus in purple is seated the center, a winged angel in red to Jesus' right and a winged angel in blue to Jesus' left. Both angels have their right hands raised with the palm to the viewer. Jesus is gesturing to the three sheep that stand in front of the angel in red. In front of the angel in blue are three goats)
So the angel in blue is supposed to represent Satan, and in this parable Jesus is explaining Judgment, using sheep to represent those going to Heaven and goats to represent those going to Hell. And this got me thinking about how Satan has been depicted and asking "is this why Satan is so strongly associated with goats?" and the answer is yes, but also no
Because Satan is associated with Evil, and Evil is conceived as anything that is not of God or aligns the the Church's teachings, most pagan deities at some point got associated with Evil or conflated with Satan at some point. Because Rome was the origin point for the spread of Christianity, the two main deities that Satan was conflated with were Hades, which is where the pitchfork imagery and Hell originated, and Pan, which is where Satan being horned and hoofed came from
Hell became conflated with Hades (the place) and because it was Evil, became a place of torment/punishment. This conflation also went well with the previously mentioned "fall from Heaven" motifs which all together originated Satan's mythology
Pan also became associated with Satan for a couple of reasons. One reason was because Pan as a god is associated with pastoralism and roads (which is very interesting considering the Devil's associated with road, especially crossroads), but more importantly, Pan is associated with wild spaces, places outside the realm of Society or "Civilized"
If you know anything about ancient Rome, you know there's nothing that makes ancient Romans nervous more than "uncivilized" things (read: places not under Roman control). Therefore it makes sense that Pan would get conflated with Evil
Pan is also associated heavily with sexuality and his fauns are notoriously sex pests in the mythology. With Rome's newfound obsession with chastity and demonization of anything sexual, it also isn't a surprise that Satan became an overtly sexual being
However, through the middle ages, while Satan was depicted as horned and monstrous (hilariously often with a second face in place of his junk), he wasn't super associated with goats until relatively recently
There is the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, and there is the scapegoat tradition that takes place at Yom Kippur, where a goat was given all the sins of the community and then released into the wild, but there was also a goat that was dedicated to God and was sacrificed for the holiday feast, so the strong associated with goats and Evil doesn't really exist in the Bible
There's some association with goats and evil in continental European depictions of witches, but that seems to be just cause they're more ornery than sheep, and their association with shepherdesses, like how witches were associated flying brooms because a lot of breweries were run by women and the symbol of the trade was brooms. Basically, witches and evil were associated with things that women of any societal independence had
However, where the goat symbolism really took off for a couple reasons. The first being Goya's paintings of witch's sabbats in the last 18th century that depict the Devil as a goat. This might be reference to the motif that was popular in Spain at the time of an upright quadruped performing routine human activities as a satire of men's follies. Goya specifically used goats, but other depictions of the Devil at the time also used bulls or any other generic horned figure
The second and BIGGEST reason was the image of Baphomet drawn in 1856 by Éliphas Lévi (Remember, this was the time when interest in the occult was high and things like the Spiritualism movement really started kicking off)
This depiction of Baphomet is really interesting in and of itself because Lévi basically cobbled together a bunch of different things from Victorian occultism
Baphomet is meant to be "symbolization of the equilibrium of opposites...half-human and half-animal, male and female, good and evil, etc. Lévi's intention was to symbolize his concept of balance, with Baphomet representing the goal of perfect social order"
The goat part specifically references the "Goat of Mendes" mentioned by Herodotus, who's favorite thing was being xenophobic as fuck. Herodotus says that the Goat of Medes was worshipped in Mendes (the greek name for the Egyptian city Djedet). He goes on to say some pretty slanderous things about the people there but the deity he's referring to seems to be Banebdjedet
Banebdjedet is an Egyptian ram-headed god (are we really going to take the word of Herodotus seriously when the fucker can't even tell goats and rams apart????) who's associated with creation, pottery, and fertility of the Nile floods
Lévi, and other Victorians, took Herodotus at face value and ran with it in his depiction of Baphomet
Baphomet as a figure on the other hand comes from Crusader days, where allegedly the Templars worshipped Baphomet as a deity
The name Baphomet originates from an account of the siege of Antioch; "As the next day dawned, they [i.e. the inhabitants of Antioch] called loudly upon Baphometh; and we prayed silently in our hearts to God, then we attacked and forced all of them outside the city walls". However, the 'Baphometh' the people of Antioch were calling come from the name 'Bafomet', which French troubadours were using to refer to the prophet Muhammad
The idea that the Templars were worshipping Baphomet come from the fact that, because they lived in a predominately Muslim society, some Templars converted to Islam or adopted Muslim practices in their own worship, and they were vilified as a result. So, like with Herodotus, it just originates with the demonization of other people
Getting back to Satan, Lévi's depiction of Baphomet as the "Sabbatic Goat" really became popular among occultists, being used to represent evil in several practices
The imagery got picked up by the King of Fuckwads and Douche-canoes, Aleister Crowley, who made it a central part of his tradition. Because Aleister Crowley unfortunately had such a strong influence on ceremonial magic traditions of the 20th century, the imagery was merged with other horned/antlered deity imagry and was used to represent the Horned God in British Ceremonial Witchcraft and all the derivatives of it (ie; Wicca, Traditional English Witchcraft, ect.)
A few theistic satanist groups also branched out of these ceremonial magic traditions and used Baphomet. Because of the nature of many of these groups (being loud, dickish, and as inflammatory as possible). Combined with the Satanic Panic of the '80's pushed Baphomet as the representation of Satanism to the broader public, rather than just in the social spheres of occult nerds
This of course influenced later branches of Satanism, like the non-theistic Satanic Temple, and popculture depictions of the devil, such as Black Phillip in Robert Eggers' The VVitch
It's all very fascinating. It's so interesting to see how Satan as a figure came about and evolved over the centuries and how that evolution is so rooted in their historical contexts and the values of the people in those times, and how they view the Other. I didn't even get to how the Protestant Revolution or Paradise Lost or Appalachian/Southern folklore changed the depiction of the Devil in the popular consciousness, but it's all super fascinating
#Sword speaks#this turned out to be way longer than I thought sorry#satan#lucifer#the devil#devil#history#baphomet

Crazy twp theory time (fill free to pick out plot holes lol)
I was reading about the legend of Arthur and came to the conclusion that... livvy will be the lady of the lake
The Lady of the lake is a powerful figure in The legend of Arthur and basically does a whole bunch of crazy stuff 😭 ( trapping people in trees) but the main thing is she gifts Arthur a magical sword , lives in a lake, and is very powerful.
- Lady of the lake is not really a hero but more in the grey zone
-livvy will not only be a powerful "sorceresses" that's helps the twp gang but will gift kit a sword powerfull enough to defeat a greater demon(Lucifer, Belial) ? ( do not think Ash will receive the weapon because he already has heosphoros)
- in ghosts of the Shadow market it was established that Livvy was having some weird connection with Dimmit tarn and kept being drawn there
- kit asking Jace about his signature weapon in qoaad I think really was a pointer from CC hintting that kit would get a cool weapon or something significant
-generally Livvy just has some really interesting connections with lakes in general (like being resurrected at one..duh 😂)
And I mean the parallels between the artwork I've seen is crazy
:) Merry Christmas tsc fans

Light Bearers in All Belief Systems
All religions and Myths are the same, using different names for same symbols and different allegories for the same teachings
The teachings of Gnosticism, usually reveres Lucifer not as the devil, but as a savior, a guardian or instructing spirit or even the true god as opposed to Jehovah.
Léo Taxil (1854–1907) claimed that Freemasonry is associated with worshipping Lucifer. In what is known as the Taxil hoax, he alleged that leading Freemason Albert Pike had addressed "The 23 Supreme Confederated Councils of the world" (an invention of Taxil), instructing them that Lucifer was God, and was in opposition to the evil god Adonai.
Cultures around the globe assign the Morning Star a central role in Creation. Yet despite its prominence in ancient myth and ritual, the cosmogonical traditions surrounding the
star-god have remained virtually unexamined to date. In the following essay, we will investigate the sacred terminology associated with the Morning Star and argue that itsorigins and theoretical rationale are likely to be found in that star’s unique and cataclysmic recent history. It is notable that the Morning Star is known by similar names virtually everywhere. In numerous cultures the Morning Star was celebrated as the bringer of light. Such is the original meaning of the Latin epithet Lucifer, for example, applied to the Morning Star (Helel ben Shahar) by exegetes of the Old Testament. An early Greek name for the
Morning Star—Phosphoros—has the same meaning.
It is equally common to find the Morning Star described by an epithet denoting “Lord of
the Dawn.” To the Aztec skywatchers in pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, for example, the
Morning Star was known as Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, Lord of the Dawn. For the Skidi Pawnee of the North American Plains, the Morning Star was conceptualized as being intimately associated with the dawn, the celestial domain of departed souls:
“The Morning Star stands upon the dawn. The dawn is represented as a bed of flint
stones, the souls of the dead. As the Morning Star walks, coming up, it makes a blaze of fire so that the red streaks of dawn are seen.” For Homer and Hesiod alike the Morning Star was conceptualized as masculine in natureand known as Heosphoros, “Dawn-bringer.”Thus Homer writes: “At that time when the dawn star passes across earth, harbinger of light, and after him dawn of the saffron mantle is scattered across the sea.”
Hesiod described the mythological genealogy of
Morning Star as follows: “And after these Erigeneia [Eos] bare the star Eosphorus (Dawn-Bringer), and the gleaming stars with which heaven is crowned.” Countless cultures referred to the Morning Star by a name that identified it as the “day bringer” or day-star. For the Polynesian astronomers who charted that culture’s countless long-distance voyages, the Morning Star was known as Fetia ao, “Star of Day.” So, too, among the Slavic peoples of ancient Europe, the Morning Star was known as Denica, “star of day.” Analogous names were commonplace among Amerindians of the New World. For the indigenous cultures along the Northwest coastal region of North America, recurringnames for the Morning Star include “Bringing the Daybreak,” “Bringing the Day,” “Star of Daylight,” and “Daylight has come.”In the Quiché Maya account of Creation, similarly, the Morning Star was described as the first star to appear in heaven: “This one came first before the sun when the sun was born, the new day bringer.”
All of the aforementioned names are commonly thought to have reference to the planet Venus in its familiar role as the Morning Star, during which it appears as the brightest star in the pre-dawn sky and, so the story goes, seems to announce the forthcoming “light of the Sun and day." Upon reflection, however, it seems most unlikely that any ancient skywatcher worth his salt would have chosen the relatively diminutive Venus to denote
the “day-bringer” or the “bringer of light.” Such names would appear to be much more
suitable for the Sun.
The light bearer is also known as Horus Duat, Athtar, Cinteotl, Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, Itztlacoliuhqui, papa pachapacari ch’aska, Raven, Nanauatzin, Tecuciztecatl, Quetzalcoatl, Viejito, Nanahuatl, abogado de las bubas y del mal de los ojos y del romadico y tosse, u-pirikucu, Icoquih, is raxa, Venus, Mars, Christ, Tlahuizcalpanteuctl.
Every single faith has a light bearer just as every faith worships the same God whether it be the God of the Bible or Allah; as is also a Shiva and Shakti.
There is no other belief set that vilifies a day star except for Christianity. In fact you'll see worship of both the Daystar and the morning Star all at the same time, as they saw the importance of both. However the Bible demonizes A Day star and proceeds to call it Satan. as if it's not a star. It proceeds then further to say that the day star being Lucifer or satan waged a war against God, etc, instead of seeing or realizing that for it to even exist God still gave life to it. I just don't see why anything that is celestial or of any importance would ever wage a war against something much greater. We must remember both Lucifer and Christ called themselves The morning Star I'm not saying they're both the same character or the same morning Star because one eventually begins to become the Daystar however here in this must mean they both share importance for the spiritual teachings of mankind.

Welcome to my blog!
About me:
My name is Holly, or if you'd like the long form, Heosphoros. You can call me Holly, Heos, or Heo if you'd like. I have a preference for Holly, but I don't mind if you use names interchangeably.
I use She/Her (capitalized) or she/her (lowercase) pronouns - again, can be used interchangeably. I'm a queer trans woman, and I'm monogamish but open to polyamory.
I'm autistic, and I've got some unknown medical problems I need to see a doctor about. I like creating things, but I have trouble finishing projects.
Other places you can find me:
Twitch (Currently inactive due to my PS4 having Red Light of Death'd and my laptop having low RAM)
YouTube (I upload literally anything I want here - gaming videos, shitposting, video essays - whatever I want, whenever I want. I upload very slowly)
Bluesky (I rarely upload here and mainly just lurk)
Ko-Fi (I don't upload anything here, you can just donate to help financially if you'd like)
Considering making a Cohost.
Current projects:
The New Communist Manifesto
(I feel that The Communist Manifesto, while a good document, needs to be updated for the modern age, having been outdated by 200 years, which makes it harder for people to truly understand Communism in an age of reborn Red Scares and US Cold Wars overlapping each other. I would appreciate some input on African and West Asian contributions to leftism.)
Hypixel Skyblock but it's played by an idiot
(A Minecraft YouTube series tracking my slow progress in Hypixel Skyblock)
Video Essays (continual)
(Video essays ranging from video games to serious topics. These take weeks to months to create, and days to weeks to edit. I also take the time to subtitle every video I release, sometimes before release, and sometimes after - this may take me weeks or months, depending on video length and IRL issues.)
Special tags I'll be using in the future:
#mdmp art, #mdmp art (year): Self-explanatory, I'll be using this for my art
#fav: This'll help me find things I really like
#it me, #mdmp irl: If I ever take selfies I'll slap them in these
#gaia union: Topics related to the Gaia Union project
#ncm: Topics related to the New Communist Manifesto project
#video essay, #video essays: Self explanatory; I'll put video essays under here
#mdmp rambles: Random text posts from me
Stances: (More can be found beneath the cut on account of length)
2024 US Election:
Vote for Dr. Jill Stein. I was previously advocating for Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D., but it seems unlikely that he'll gain enough ballot access. Dr. Jill Stein already does:
Claudia de la Cruz is a bad option, as the Party for Socialism and Liberation has a Conservative 5th Column, and has frequent problems with discrimination, so Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D. continues to be the ideal option.
Political and socioeconomic:
I'm a Communist - this means that I believe in a stateless, classless, moneyless society. As a shorthand: I believe that workers should own their workplaces, with CEOs being democratically elected by their employees,
and the government functioning mainly as representatives for their people, processing the public's votes and distributing resources without denying human rights as a threat for employees not working at, "peak efficiency."
AI:
The name, "AI," is a misnomer used to describe a variety of improved versions of technology we've had for decades, and the modern use of it is generally used for crypto pumping, art theft, and money laundering.
Programs such as Midjourney and ChatGPT use large amounts of electricity and water, as well as contributing negatively to climate change via rare earth metal mines.
I would recommend this excellent video essay by Philosophy Tube on this subject. I tend to refer to it by a variety of terms, such as (but not limited to) Digital Hapsburg Generators, Long-Form Autocorrect, and Automated Theft Engines.
J.K. Rowling:
Rowling is an anti-feminist misogynistic transphobic prick who doesn't just actively make things worse for trans women, but women in general. You can't participate in death-of-the-author if the author is still alive. Do not buy her products, including Hogwarts Legacy.
As an aside, I also recommend this video essay about the problems with her Harry Potter series, critiquing her work as an author, even outside of her Twitter politics and donations to far- and alt-right organizations.
Russian invasion of Ukraine:
Russia doesn't have the right to invade Ukraine, even if the USSR previously had Ukraine as a state within it.
This is a gross misrepresentation of how the states of the USSR worked (though the USSR had many flaws; I recommend these video essays by Socialist YouTuber Hakim discussing the fall of the USSR and flaws with former socialism attempts), and is an excuse to be an expansionist fascist, and is just rooted in Russian nationalism.
Even the Russian people have been losing their shit over their president's actions and don't agree with him.
Atomic Heart:
Atomic Heart is a Russian nationalist game, which calls Ukrainians swine/livestock, demonizes Ukrainian technology, uses a floral symbol of Ukraine on a hostile drone, and bases the sex robots off of a prior Ukrainian official.
This game also explicitly uses a military photograph of Russian soldiers participating in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Do not purchase or play this developer's games.
The Last of Us:
The Last of Us is a game made by a Zionist, based on the Israeli occupation and later holocaust of Palestine, and the second game was explicitly made as, "revenge against Palestinians." As I had the first game gifted to me years before I knew about this, I may make a video essay about this in the future, but I'm not purchasing the second game.
Do not purchase or play this developer's games.
Palworld:
Palworld itself is a questionable game, but despite it being pretty much confirmed that they didn't use ATE technology, they do have a lot of blatant theft from other games, independent creators who make Fakemon, and even have a model directly stolen and slightly modified from Game Freak.
The company that made Palworld also has a history of blatant theft, as well as having a game that uses ChatGPT as an actual game mechanic.
Do not purchase or play this developer's games.
Israeli holocaust of Palestine:
This is very blatantly a genocide, and calling it a holocaust is in fact justified. Benjamin Netanyahu is actively being antisemitic by attributing this as a Jewish necessity, and is souring Judaism for people who've already been indoctrinated to be antisemitic.
The Israeli holocaust of Palestine has not only been, well, a fucking genocide, but has also increased both Islamophobia and antisemitic violence globally.
