How I'm getting a job soon (hopefully!!) I wanted to draw this thank you piece for everyone, without the Bob Burgers fandom and all the new friends I met along the way. I don't believe I would have been this successful in my art (like ever!)

So now I'm going to take a small break from drawing. (Until I get used to my work schedule) And hopefully come back to drawing and commission for you all!!

Again without this awesome community of people and fans. I wouldn't be this happy with my art and probably gave up a long time ago. Thank you all for loving my fanart for the past 2 years and watching me get better through those years.

I will hopefully get back to drawing in May. I do want to work on this cute mother day drawing for Linda, but till then.

Summary:

Henry and Mal's overlapping conversations are about the two twins respectively, Zeke and Claire. Claire is mentioned to be a trivia queen interested in Wikipedia, True Crime, and podcasting, with Mal mentioning that she at one point had both a podcast and youtube videos. She is also said to have left her face on the "outside". Zeke, on the other hand, is a misogynist who "got around" in a "myspace relationship status kinda way". However, he talks often with Thomas. Henry and Mal take a bet that Tati and Zeke's relationship won't last long, for $20 bucks.

I've always liked Horrid Henry. He's not horrid at all, he's just ADHD as fuck. He's not stupid, he just doesn't care about things he isn't fixated on. When he actually wants something, he always has some zany plan to get it, and he regularly outsmarts even the adults in his life. Henry is a cool kid. He just gets overlooked by everyone in his life.

Hey, do you know what I just noticed? In a comment about Zeke's mother Mai Lau, which tells about Zeke's dad (Henry Lau) divorcing Mai Lau and leaving Zeke when he was young. You do know it kind of makes a similar reference to Treasure planet, when Jim Hawkins dad leaves him and his mother. Right? Anyways I was , for a question did you get it as a reference for Zeke's dad or you just came up with it?

Doverstar Treasure Planet was my favorite Disney film for a long time growing up, but no, Zeke's family situation isn't inspired by Jim's family situation. The reality is that far too many men who should be there for their children and wives leave and don't fulfill their role. Zeke's dad is sadly part of a terrible real-life trend spanning generations. Losing family and gaining new family is something of a theme in Lilo and Stitch's franchise. Mertle's dad isn't in the picture, Stitch was made as the first of a new species and has no organic ties, Mason is adopted, Lilo and Nani are orphans. But Mertle has her mother and Gigi, Stitch was redeemed and found his own family to belong to, Mason has Mrs. Bridge and the Pelekai family, Nani married David and started a family of her own, and she and Lilo will always have each other as well as Jumba, Pleakley, Stitch, David, Kai, Ani, and the rest of their family! That's part of what ohana means.
