Some things that really BREAK me about The Scene™️

The way Blitzo doesn’t hesitate for a SECOND to run after Stolas when he realized he was walking out the door

The fear in Blitzo’s eyes when Stolas said goodbye

Additionally how scared Blitzo looked here when Stolas said “you don’t have to stay with me” thinking Stolas was kicking him out

Blitzo begging Stolas to give him a second chance

Stolas being SO fucking soft and gentle when explaining to blitz why he got him the crystal. His neverending unconditional love and support of Blitz and his business.

“I want you too. I want you to stay here with me- because you want too. Only if you want too”

The anguish when he realizes (or thinks he realizes) that blitzo doesn’t feel the same.

The real aftermath of Full Moon

Fizz: Hey, how did it go? Did he like it? Blitz: * deafening silence * Fizz: You did WHAT!?

One of my favorite scenes from the Blood Moon episode was at the very end, when Blitz realized that Stolas was being genuine and. And that his words were hurting Stolas. Genuinely hurting him.

You can see the second his whole demeanor shifts:

"oh fuck, this isn't working"

They weren't going to have a screaming match where they made themselves and their emotions clear and got everything out of their system.

And he changes gears immediately, backs up, starts to apologize, tries to make it better but it was too late.

But Blitz tried, god damn it, he tried too.

Call me a Stolas apologist if you'd like, but Stolas wasn't wrong to portal Blitzø out.

Blitzø had basically just challenged Stolas to take his turn at insulting him, let's go, let's have everything out, let's make this breakup a fight to remember, remind me why I don't deserve you -- and Stolas. Doesn't.

Because that's not how fights like this have ever gone for him. Stolas's past relationship wasn't like Blitzø and Verosika trading insults in Spring Broken; it was standing still and quiet while Stella hurled abuse at him. He's stood up for himself against her, yes, but how can he stand up against Blitzø? When Blitzø's right, and when Stolas is seeing Blitzø through such rose-tinted glasses?

From Stolas's perspective, there really isn't anywhere the conversation can go after that. Anything else that is said will just make the situation worse. So he ends it. And, honestly, even if Blitzø was reaching out at the end there, he still hadn't had time to process, and I can't really see an emotional reconciliation happening that quickly. It probably would've just devolved into another argument. At this point, space and time are the best things for both of them.

His brows are then consistently FURROWED the entire time out of uncertainty

He doesn't seem to want to take his word. "It's registered under your name." His brain is NOT focused on that. He's tryna figure out the implications. He doesn't even grasp this sudden shift.

"You no longer need my grimoire"

Blitz saying "Whaaat?"- Fuck the way he says that is like he completely forgot about his job needing transport to the human realm. I percieve this more as him having come to the conclusion that Stolas is tryna get rid of him. He doesn't believe him at ALL

"You are free of me."

"Why are you giving me this?"

This man is hopeless.

Literally jumps straight to assuming he isn't good enough. Stolas doesn't want him anymore. No way. What.

He's been left behind and abandoned so much man

The rejection in his eyes like dude cannot fucking grasp that Stolas just wants Blitz to be able to live freely from the routine they had.

HE'S LIKE A DOG WHO FUCKED UP LIKE "ILL BE GOOD IM SORRY"

Okey, but could we talk about how the Asmodean Crystal came in a box that closely resembles a ring box and how that could possibly foreshadow a future plot line where Blitzø tries to make up for his mistakes with Stolas AFTER Stolas loses his powers and titles and so Blitzø asks Fizz and Asmodeus for help and they give him a ring with an Asmodean Crystal so Blitzø asks Stolas to marry him in the same spot Stolas gave him his Asmodean Crystal and then they go on a honeymoon around Earth???

Blitz is going to be the death of me.

Right before the crystal, when he thinks that Stolas is really breaking up with him, he straight up begs.

"Stolas, please, I need this book. Please."

Uh huh the book . . .

"I need this book, Stolas. I will do anything.

Looking down (maybe telling himself, "I knew this was coming eventually") and then looking up, trying not to cry.

Despite . . . his everything here, I'm pretty scared that half the audience will think this is really about the book, and I'm not ready for the bad takes yet.
