Alright, so. Here’s my Hellsing self insert/OC, Bryn Dracul!

Bryn Dracul is the daughter of Alucard (Cheesy, i know.) and one of his brides who had Cat sith blood running through her veins, however she and Alucard did not know this. Bryn was a pure accident, and at first Alucard did not care for her. He had his kingdom to attend to! He ends up caring for her after both of them are put into Van Hellsing’s “care” so to speak. But even in present times they have a very rocky relationship. Bryn does not want to be seen in her father’s shadow, and wants to be seen as her own person and not associated with Alucard. She still loves her father dearly but keeps her distance. (Though they do have their tender moments.)

She works part time as a Hellsing Rodent killer and a bouncer and dancer at The Valentines club!

She is a smokey Mainecoon, and can turn into a cat, as shown above. She is partially blind due to bullying she endured as a young teen. Due to this, she cannot shoot a gun or drive. Relationship wise; she’s Demisexual Demiromantic and is dating the elder Valentine, Luke. (Obv before the whole thing with the bros even happened. This also goes for ultimate; she was NOT involved in Millennium until MUCH later when she was coereced but gave the men a place to stay aka at her house. She was unaware of the plans.) She’s also VERY good friends with Jan, and the two are seen taking jabs at eachother playfully.

Bryn’s personality can only be described as kind, sweet, yet ruthless and very protective. She’s also quick to be stubborn so when she has an opinion, it sticks. She is also known to put her foot down when she feels it must be. However she can be pretty goofy and loves to joke around, especially with Jan.

Her weapon of choice is a dagger with her initials, given to her by Luke for her birthday. She also uses her nails to scratch, and she is known to bite if the situation calls for it.

Her weaknesses are holy water and the usual stuff that kills vampires.

If anyone has questions about her, please ask away in my ask box!! There’s more to her story but this was it all summed up.

The love lives of the House of Gloria members.

Soto Gloria x Walter C. Dornez

This old unassuming gardener and resident doctor(with unusual methods) actually had one interesting affair with a well-known butler. Yeah, he and Walter were a thing back in the day.

What year was it, Soto will never divulge any details.

Maybe Walter had visited South America multiple times before? And maybe there was a certain beautiful young man he met when he was at a restaurant? What started as sharing drinks to maybe a sleepover, maybe a summer fling?

Despite being alone for a lot of his young life Soto can't stand being alone. Walter found Soto to be a very peaceful man to be around. Like the world slows down when the two are together.

When Walter left Rio there was this light tugging feeling in his chest. What if he never returned to England?

Once summer ended Walter returned to England as his work was done in Rio. And Soto returned to college. They kept in contact by letters (Walter has his own PO box) often talking about their lives, well as much as they could share. It seemed only Soto expressed wanting to meet again.

The letters slowed down eventually with only Soto updating Walter on his travels around the world and how tired he is from school.

Years later Soto had been traveling Europe and just so happened to be staying in London.

Walter received a letter from Soto informing him he was in England on business. Walter sent back an itinerary of the best local spots.

Although Walter can't quite remember if the two met up in London he feels like they spent a few days together but he can't pinpoint any details.

At the same time, mysterious assassinations started to occur of high-ranking people from a rich secret society who were found with a poisonous plant sprouting from their bodies. This didn't catch Hellsing's full attention as there was no evidence of a vampire involved. Until a vampire randomly killed another member of this society but said vampire was left barely alive with the effects of the poison running its course but not killing it.

The last Walter remembers is when Soto left a letter stating that he was going back home to the States. And the assassinations seemingly stopped.

Madam Zoella A. Gloria x Soto Gloria

Let's just say being betrayed by loved ones may have affected the Madam's love life.

She tried having relationships but often felt she could never be truly open with her partner. Madam Gloria was fine with having an affair with a married person. She found comfort knowing it would amount to nothing. Until she found out that the married couple was just using the affair to try to drain her of her power via absorbing her soul. As if the past was repeating itself out of self-defense she pulled an uno reverse card.

After a while, Madam gave up on romance entirely, feeling as if no one would truly love her. At this point in time she was alone with no one friend.

Then she came across this beautiful man named Soto working at the flower shop. An acquaintance turned into a pleasant friendship it was nice taking things slowly. Although there was this nagging feeling that Soto wasn't just a simple plant enthusiast. But it felt nice pretending to be a normal human being.

Until she walked on him telling a plant to grow and it grew.

Some sorceress she is and she didn't notice anything. Ripping the band-aid off she revealed her magic to him and offered him a job as her assistant.

He accepted starting a pleasant work relationship.

Assassination attempts were strangely common for Madam Gloria. Soto offered to negotiate peace with their enemies across the seas in London.

That was the first time Madam Gloria called him 'my heart'.

Maybe their love isn't the healthiest? Maybe Madam expecting her lover to give her 200% 24/7 is a little unreasonable? And maybe Soto not hesitating to massacre an entire room of people that insulted his lover may not be very healthy or safe? But what's important is that they are happy.

Oh wait they got married.

Zo Gloria x Alucard

'Canonically' Zo doesn't really have any love interests.

That's not to say that she doesn't have a line of simps that find her intimidating.

But if she was to be shipped with Alucard I kinda picture them having a weird relationship.

Yes, it did start with Alucard bothering Zo. And her ruthlessly ignoring him.

She has a spell cast over her mind that prevents Alucard from reading it. It's one of the reasons why he found her intriguing—a mind he couldn't waltz into, how fascinating.

Zo hates to admit it but Alucard feels familiar?? She feels the urge to tell him to don't die again.

She doesn't know why she cares about him either.

Why does Alucard have dreams lying down on a damp green pasture watching the sun rise whenever Zo is in England?

Until Madam Gloria gives the word Zo has no desire to fight Alucard.

And Alucard is very curious about her powers and her true identity.

They both have sporadic conversations about philosophy while in battle or someone is walking on the ceiling during this discussion.

Alucard does try urging her to stop self-loathing feeling that she is 'innocent' compared to him.

The most intimate they get in their 'canon' is that they sleep together.

Harveen Saint x Seras Victoria

I do have it in 'canon' that they are besties but I mean who wouldn't want to give Seras a girlfriend?

Okay, and how could I not ship the students from different schools together?!!

Harveen and Seras both relate to each other in the sense that wow we chose this life but man there was a lot of fine print I am just now reading.

They also relate to having masters who are whack teachers.

Harveen: And then Zo said 'Are you going to slow me down again?' This was after I was stabbed twice!

Seras: So mean!

Seras: Alucard yelled at me and called me a coward after questioning him about massacring a human SWAT team!

Harveen: So out of pocket!

So i had some issues with Calicos attire and hair, it *looked like* she had like a bun from the ref, and i kinda assumed that the dress would continue on the back

Over all this was a really fun character to draw

I can vividly imagine Calico being just a m e n a c e to Michael, since its hard to scare/intimidate him but ong is it easy to irritate him.

I m soery its so bad but hey, its.. fun?

I found her bio and how she thinks really interesting,

I also found it funny how they are almost polar opposites (except they are both def very insensitive)

From how i have stalked your account (hehe oops) it seems like she is a gorey person, which her and Michael would have in common

OMG! I’m so glad you like my OC Angel! She’s my baby and I’ve been working on her since I was a teen even nearly ten years later.

The reason I ask for you feedback/second opinion is because Alucard is so FUCKING DIFFICULT TO WRITE MONOLOGUE AND INTERNAL DIALOGUE FOR!!!

love the smug red-clad asshole but damn is he hard to write for, especially with a character like my OC.

Do you have any advice for writing dialogue, both internal and external, for Alucard?

And this is little bit embarrassing, but I’m also having trouble in some instances of Alucard and my OC interacting because she is an Empath and can see through everyone’s bullshit, literally, and she’s half-mad.

Alucard is fucking hard to write, I agree - I've made a post about this before that I'll link here but I suppose I can provide some additional pointers for things that help me.

Alucard is a spirit of temptation, being a vampire. That means that even with the fact he has a penchant for trying to dominate interactions with others, he's also got a real hard-on for poking and prodding people in their weak points - be it sensual or otherwise, he wants to see if he can provoke people into dropping their mask. If there's anything we know about Alucard based on his assessment of Seras ("beneath that girlish exterior lies a fascinatingly complex creature" or whatever he said to Walter when he asked Alucard why he turned her), it's that he's damn good at seeing what makes people tick beneath the surface. And that's where he gets his entertainment from.

Internal dialogue, however, is a different beast. This will sound ridiculous, but I often imagine I'm writing for a Terminator with a flair for the dramatic and seductive when I write from Alucard's POV. Right down to seeing dialogue options appearing in front of his eyes before he decides how he'll respond to any given stimuli - dude's life is a visual novel and also a sandbox rolled into one. Due to this, it's rare he ends up feeling any sort of direct connection to other people. It isn't necessarily out of a sense of self-deprecation, either, at least not directly. The dude's internal circuitry is just fucking WEIRD and difficult to understand. To quote Zemira, "The inside of that motherfucker's head has gotta look like an M.C. Escher painting or some shit."

I’m pulling stuff out of my ass when it comes to magic bare with me. So how many volumes are out there of Dawn? I know it never got finished but I was only able to find six. But oh well I couldn't resist since I realized my oc's mother is around Walter's age.

Let’s take a look at Madam Gloria before she was the Madam.

Young Zoella A. Gloria

Look at her, ready to commit violence!

If the space-time continuum allowed it, these two would be plotting world domination.

As you can tell that is Madam Zoella A. Gloria (present) sitting in the chair and young Zoella a teenager sent by the Americans and the current head of the House of Gloria, is ready to murder fight.

Yes, definitely she and Walter bickered like children.

Walter: Who died and put you in charge!!

Zoella: I am older, you little brat.

Walter: WE'RE THE SAME AGE!

Zoella: My sixteenth birthday is next winter.

Girlycard: Didn't you just turn fourteen?

Walter: I hate both of you!

Some facts about Young Zoella!

She has premature greying and is very proud of it. She believes that having grey hair means good luck will come in the future. That was made up by her. The most powerful members of her family started greying in their thirties. She was the youngest in her family's history to show this rare trait.

Yes, it was pure coincidence that the greys perfectly lined up in that style.

Her haughty attitude, bravery, and large smile in the face of disaster are her most remembered traits.

Being the youngest of five in the House of Gloria was a dangerous competition.

But being favored by her grandmother has its perks and also a big red target on her back when her mother found out that her grandma said she was skipping a generation and four other heirs as well.

There was a soft moment between her and Walter when she healed his injuries during the battle. Although it did negatively affect her health a little he stopped her when he realized this. Not wanting her to sacrifice herself for him even if it wasn't fatal.

Since Walter got his shit rocked by the werewolf from up to where I read. Zoella unfortunately got her shit rocked by Zorin.

She was talking real big game saying, "I'll show you real sorcery!"

Zoella had to call upon her grandmother who telepathically opened her third eye. Even taking control of Zoella's body temporarily, to cause some damage to Zorin.

The battle pose of Alucard in his girly form, Walter, and Zoella looks soooo cooooool!

She also laughs a lot serving as a precursor to her maniacal laugh when she's older.

She is supposed to have a cool nickname but I couldn't think of one. So I will leave this unfinished like the prequel.
