Okay so I was doing some research into these phrases/words and have made my own adjusted list using this as my source. If you want to replicate my research, copy and paste the Greek word into the sources search engine and it will show you primary sources.
Additionally, I put all of the words in all caps because it's easier for me when trying to source information; I made my own pronunciation guides that make sense to me (the pronunciations are based off of modern Greek - I used Google Translate which I know is not very accurate but it was the only single source I could find that read pronunciations of all the words out loud).
ΧΑΙΡΕ (kk-E-err-Eh)
- Literal Translation: To rejoice, be glad, be delighted - Context in Worship: Hail to you!
ΕΙΡΗΝΗ (E-ree-nee)
- Literal Translation: Peace, Time of Peace - Context in Worship: Peace & Farewell!
ἜΡΡΩΣΟ (Err-Oh-So)
- Literal Translation: To strengthen, make strong and mighty - Context in Worship: Be Strong! (Said to mortals only)
Ω ΘΕΌΣ / Ω ΘΕΟΊ (O Th-Eh-Oh-ss, O Th-ayee)
- Literal Translation: O God / O God (pl.) - Context in Worship: Oh God / Oh Gods!
Ω ΘΕΆ / Ω ΘΕΆΊ (O Th-Eh-Ah, O Th-Eh-aye-E)
- Literal Translation: O Goddess / O Goddess (pl.) - Context in Worship: Oh Goddess / O Goddesses!
ΚΛΥΘΙ ΜΟΥ (Kk-Lee-Th-E M-Oh)
- Literal Translation: To hear - Context in Worship: Hear me!
Ω ΘΕΟΊ ΓΝΩΣΕΣΘΕ ἈΠΌΤΡΟΠΟΙ ΚΑΚΌΩ (O, Th-ayee, Gg-No-Ss-Ess-Th-Eh, Ah-Poe-Tr-Oh-P)
- Literal Translation: O | God | To learn to know, to perceive, mark, learn | Turned away, banished | To treat ill, maltreat, afflict, distress - Context in Worship: O Gods, protect us from evil!
Hellenic Phrases - Basic greek for worship
I like approaching the Gods utilizing the greek language for some expressions. Although the gods will understand you regardless of the language you use, using Modern Greek feels really good, specially if you’re a recon like me.
Before we start, just give a quick look on this art of Mnemosyne, Goddess of Memory and Inventress of Words, Mother of the Muses.
Let’s begin this list with some salutations and farewells, shall we?
Χαιρε! χαιρετe! - (trans.: Khaire!, pl.: Khairete! khAY-re, khAY-re-teh) Hail! Hello [to you]!
The standard greeting, can be used to address the Theoi (Gods) and mortals alike.
Ειρηνη! - (trans.: Eirene!, Ee-REE-nee) Peace! A farewell phrase, the name of the goddess of peace.
Èρρωσο! Ερρωσθε! - (trans.: Érroso! pl.: Érrosthe!, EH-rôs-so; EH-rôs-teh) “Be strong” a farewell to mortals only, the Theoi are plenty strong already.
Ουλε! Ουλετε! - (trans.: Oule!, pl.: Oulete!; OO-leh; OO-leh-teh) Literally farewell.
Now some useful ways to call upon the Gods.
Ω Θεέ / Ω Θεοί - (O Theé, “O God” [masc]; O Theoi!, “O Gods!” [plural]) Ω Θεά / Ω Θεάί - (O Thea, “O Goddess” [fem]; O Theai! “O Goddesses!” [plural, fem])
Κλυθι μου! - (Klûthi mou!, “Hear me!”; trans.: Klee-THEE MOH!) It’s a very common phrase throughout the Orphic Hymns and can be used to call upon the Gods before an hymn or even when you’re just praying.
Example: O Phoibos Apollon, klûthi mou! - “O Bright Apollon, hear me!”.
Regarding purification by usage of khernips (lustral water)
Χερνιπτομαι! ( trans.: Kherniptomai! - Zer-NIP-to-meh - “May this water become lustral”)
A phrase used to turn water into lustral water, for cleansing the “pollution”/”miasma” by dropping flaming incense and/or herbs in water to make it lustral. The fire is generally consecrated to Hestia, goddess of the hearth, with an hymn before. It’s just one of many ways of cleansing yourself and the space before a ritual, but if you can’t do it, taking a bath, washing your hands and stuff like that might be enough!
Εκας εκας εστε βεβηλοι - (trans.: Hekas hekas este bebeloi!; eh-KAS, eh-KAS, es-TEH be-BÊH-lee) “Begone, begone ye profane!”
This one can be used while you sprinkle lustral water to purify a space to ward off against bad spirits (kakoidaimones) and energy.
Ω Θεοι Γνωισθε Αποτροποι Κακων - (trans.: O Theoi gnoisthe apotropoi kákon!; O Theoi gnois-THEH a-po-TRO-peh KAH-kon) “O Gods, protect us from evil!”
This phrase from Eurippides calls the Gods forth for their protection.
Oh, well. those are just some of the phrases me and my group use! We’re mostly related to the RHB - Brazilian Hellenic Reconstructionism and use it as a main source.
I hope you guys find this post useful, and may the Gods ever bless you!
Errosthe! (Be strong!)

"Aphrodite loves terfs" do you really think a goddess of love formed from a literal penis and the mother of Hermaphroditus, an intersex god who was associated with androgyny and feminine men, fucks around with transphobia?
she is a literal trans icon and to deny that will get you smited by all the gods

You can find Aphrodite when you gush over romcoms. You can find Zeus when the rain pours and soaks your hair. You can find Hera when you're loyal to your friends and partners. You can find Ares when you argue with your parents over the causes you believe in. You can find Apollo when the sun caresses your cheek.
The gods are everywhere—you just need to know where to look.

I feel like we don't give enough appreciation to the fatherly side of the gods. How about Zeus, who taught young Artemis archery? How about Poseidon, who proudly made Triton his herald? How about Ares, who carefully brushed Eros' wings? How about Hades, who lovingly lulled baby Zagreus to sleep? How about THAT

This is just a quick reminder that this blog is not a safe place for you if you are a terf. Especially if you try and push the fucked up idea that Aphrodite does not love trans women. I am trans myself and won't tolerate my sisters being disrespected by miserable radfems. Ty.
Lady Aphrodite loves everyone. Including trans people.

something i find amazing is the way devoting yourself to the gods and goddesses can be so integral with everyday life- i can just be studying or reading and be worshipping Athena, i can be doing makeup and skincare and be worshipping Aphrodite, I can be drawing and making art and be worshipping Apollon, i can be learning greek and studying and be worshipping Hermes- i can simply just take a walk in the woods and be worshipping Artemis in the process, it's just so beautiful to me that it's that simple...
you don't have to do so much to worship the gods, you don't have to have big fancy altars, they're happy with you just for simply praying and doing small things in devotion...there's just something so wonderful about that

Shoutout to that era in the 90s when Dionysus temporality possessed home renovators and grape themed kitchens were a thing.
My future kitchen tbh I had one like this as a kid living on a vineyard.
