“Oi, gente! Jesus me chamou e fez eu aceitar Ele como meu Salvador. Eu me curei e recebi a paz do Espírito Santo, percebi que Ele está em mim e que Ele me ama. Eu encontrei o amor de Deus e dei minha vida a Ele”, diz. E continua:
“Ele me deu uma oportunidade de mudar o pensamento e seguir apenas Ele. Não tem um amor igual, e Ele virou totalmente a prioridade da minha vida. Sem Deus a gente não pode fazer nada. Ele que está no comando, e Ele é a nossa vida. Estou muito feliz, na paz do Espírito Santo. Um beijo”, conclui.
Há 10 anos o pai de Helena apresenta A Hora do Faro na Record TV, Brasil.
.
Rodrigo Faro’s daughter talks about encounter with God. The youngest daughter of the famous Brazilian TV host, 11-year-old @helenavfaroo (Instagram) says:
"Hi, everyone! Jesus called me and made me accept Him as my Savior. I was healed and received the peace of the Holy Spirit, I realized that He is in me and that He loves me. I found the love of God and gave my life to Him", she says. And she continues:
"He gave me an opportunity to change my thinking and follow only Him. There is no love like Him, and He has completely become the priority in my life. Without God, we can do nothing. He is in control, and He is our life. I am very happy, in the peace of the Holy Spirit. A kiss", she concludes.

Helena Patursson
She longed for summer and sun, though blessings she never found. The affliction corroded all life, and gradually time ran out.
She yearned to guide, point to a straight path — but the people slept and they sleep still, and this goal did not come to pass.
Now she yearns but for sleep, broken she had lain. And death struck her with a glance, having come in a friendly vein.
And now there is restful peace. Mother has shrouded you in the earth. May our Lord please you until the last, may He give you sun and summer's mirth.
Poem eulogizing the passing of Súsanna Helena Patursson, one of the earliest Faroese feminists and writers. She wrote the first screenplay in Faroese as well as publishing the first women's periodical in the Faroes.
(poem by Hans A. Djurhuus, 1917 // translated from Faroese by me)
Original
Hon ynskti sær sól og summar; tó aldri ta eydnu fann. Sóttin hon tærdi livsins rót, og langliga stundin rann.
Hon vildi fegin hjálpa og benda á beina leið - men fólkið svav og tað svevur enn, og verkið eydnaðist ei.
Nú ynskti hon bert at sova, brotin á legu hon lá. - Og deyðin, hann kom á vinarhátt, streyk henni um eygnabrá. -
Og nú er tað hvíld friður. - Vár móðir í mold teg fjól. Gleði teg Harrin á evstu stund, hann gevi summar og sól.

“Oi, gente! Jesus me chamou e fez eu aceitar Ele como meu Salvador. Eu me curei e recebi a paz do Espírito Santo, percebi que Ele está em mim e que Ele me ama. Eu encontrei o amor de Deus e dei minha vida a Ele”, diz. E continua:
“Ele me deu uma oportunidade de mudar o pensamento e seguir apenas Ele. Não tem um amor igual, e Ele virou totalmente a prioridade da minha vida. Sem Deus a gente não pode fazer nada. Ele que está no comando, e Ele é a nossa vida. Estou muito feliz, na paz do Espírito Santo. Um beijo”, conclui.

“Hi, everyone! Jesus called me and made me accept Him as my Savior. I was healed and received the peace of the Holy Spirit, I realized that He is in me and that He loves me. I found the love of God and gave my life to Him”, she says. And she continues:
“He gave me an opportunity to change my thinking and follow only Him. There is no love like Him, and He has completely become the priority in my life. Without God, we can do nothing. He is in control, and He is our life. I am very happy, in the peace of the Holy Spirit. A kiss”, she concludes.
