Had been cleaning out the attic of my dad's pace and stumbled across some of my old kindergarten and cringe teenage years drawings 🥲 Thought it was funny to show what 15 years of drawing did to me 😊 Feel free to ask stuff about him if you wanna~💚

Sonic OCs mayhaps (standard issue hedgehog OCS, naturally)

I’ve had this little guy (Toast) since middle school, so I finally gave this guy his first redesign in several years (+ His little brother got a much more major redesign too. I ended up having to rename his little brother to Brioche after Sonic Frontiers took the name ‘Sage’ and ran with it)

I’d show the old designs but I don’t exactly feel like going and finding them- maybe one day?

The doodles on the right are a bit older than the reference, and I tried to take a more on-model approach with the actual ref, hence the style difference

Still working on figuring out a new story for them- their old one from 4-5 years ago isn’t exactly bad, but it didn’t feel very “sonic”. Like… at all

They live in Empire City somewhere though- and I’ve dabbled with the idea of Toast *potentially* having some sort of connection to Eggman, but it wouldn’t be entirely out of malice. Definitely still working on it

May end up giving Toast and Brioche some cool ability or something but they’ve kinda always been “average” (as in, I was terrified of accidentally making my characters “Mary Sues” in middle school for some reason)

While I am definitely still writing backstories for them, I am quite happy with their new designs- didn’t change very much (for Toast- Brioche got an entire overhaul), but the things I did change definitely made a difference
