I got an Australian DVD of Heat of the Sun recently and it included some extra scenes that were cut from the PBS Masterpiece Mystery! broadcast. One scene was with Chico de Ville (Sean Gallagher) and Dr. Emil Mueller (David Horovitch), as they're walking into the court house. I already kinda shipped them before but seeing that little bit before the highly dramatic moment where he's shot (he lives, he's fine) I ship them more.

#a tidally locked planet is one that doesn't rotate in relation to its sun. so one half receives constant sunlight #a thin strip of twilight would circle the planet and could sustain temperature equilibrium between permanent heat and cold #this twilight band could potentially sustain permanent settlements. they'd just have to deal with weather from the temp differential #space stuff #sketches #not aurora
