Dexter's coming back to a body that's his but also distinctly not, his boyfriends have been traumatized (Kevin repeatedly and part of which Dexter contributed too, which he'd feel bad about upon realizing), and they're all just fucked up little men and Kevin and Streber have had two years to grow closer to each other and make memories with each other and combined with Dexter just feeling off in his own body he feels left out and weird

Dexter may be in his own body but Moloch had messed it up so badly it doesn't feel like his anymore. Streber had lost his arm to a cannibal. Kevin has been put through so much mainly because of the spooky kids who also summoned Moloch in the first place.

Currently thinking about how much Ford tries to hide his hands a lot when he can…behind his back with this stance. Due to how often he’s been bullied for it.
