Author's note: LET ME TELL YOU I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO FIGHT SOMEONE AS MUCH AS I DID WRITING THIS! Literally had this vision in my head and I got so heated I knew this was going to be a good chapter. MUAHAHA all the spooky vibes from Halloween are getting to me. I hope you guys enjoy this one because the plot is thickening. Also, I might be making a far stretch on one of the jokes i put in here... I am pretty sure these don't exist in ACOTAR but for the sake of the joke, just pretend they do 😭

Summary: After everyone in the Town House finding out about your night with Lucien and bond with Azriel, you have a nice relaxing night in with your girls... or so you thought it would be relaxing.

Chapter 5: "GYNO?"

While you were getting ready, Feyre and Rhysand were back in their room discussing what they had just learned about you-

“What should we do Rhys? Az has been wishing for his mate for so long, but little does he know that he has been so infatuated with Elain it’s caused a blockage of his bond with y/n!” as she too is getting ready for girl’s night.

“The only thing we can do is be there for y/n and for Az when the time comes. This is a very peculiar situation y/n and Az have gotten themselves into,” he chuckles as he places his hands on the sides of her waist looking at her getting ready.

“I know, and this just has gotten messier with time. It already was messy enough with Lucien being Elain's mate and her liking Az. But now, y/n being Azriel’s mate and liking Lucien just seems way too coincidental. I can tell she likes him; she is just in denial because she's still holding onto some glimmer of hope with Azriel,” she pauses. “Something just feels off Rhys,” as she starts to think through what could be going on.

“I also feel like there is something is off, and I think it’s deeply rooted. Only time will tell Feyre darling,” he says as he kisses the top of her head as she finishes up getting ready.

“I would just hate for any of them to get hurt…” she frowns up at Rhys.

“And no one will, because we will be there for them every step of the way no matter what happens,” he reassures her with a soft kiss on her lips. “Now, go have some fun with the girls tonight! But not too much fun,” he looks at her with a playful smile.

“We cannot promise anything,” she giggles. “GNI here I come!”

“GNI?” Rhys questions at the unfamiliar term.

“GNI stands for “Girls Night In,” usually it is GNO, but staying in sounds better since we were out a Rita's not too long ago.” She explains.

“GNO? Isn't that a lady doctor?” Feyre burst out into full on laughter. Tears were spilling from her eyes from laughing so hard. Rhys just looked at her questioningly because he didn’t understand what was so funny.

“Rhys… oh bless your soul… GNO is the same thing as GNI, but you go out instead of staying inside. A lady doctor is called a gyno! Oh, I am so telling the girls this!” As she wipes the tears from her eyes and catches her breath.

“Ahh shit… I'm never living that down now…”

“Nope,” as she pops the end of the word as she walks down to the living room for girl's night.

You walk down the stairs into the main living room to find all the girls already there giggling over wine all cozy in their pajamas.

“Wow, already started without me huh?” you say with a fake frown. They all look at you and smile, clearly already seeing some effect of the wine Mor brought.

“No! Just decided to pre-game a little bit!” Mor smiles at you and walks to you to link arms and lead you over to the group. You giggle.

“Well then, the party has arrived! Looks like I need a couple of glasses to catch up to you all!” you laugh. You look over and spot Amren and give her a polite smile. “It's nice to see you again Amren!”

“You too girl,” she says. “We have a lot of catching up to do!” She eyes you a bit eager to know what has been going on, but Feyre steps in.

“Nonono! I am putting a veto on discussing all things that have happened recently! We are here to forget about that and have fun! Now ladies raise your glasses,” Amren rolls her eyes, but everyone raises their wine, “and cheers to us girls and the wonderful night ahead of us!” Everyone whoops and laughs as they take a swig of their wine. You decide to down your glass to try and catch up as everyone cheers you on!

“Thats how you do it baby!” Mor pats you on the back and goes to pour you another glass.

“Oh, this night in is going to be quite interesting,” Amren says with a grin.

“Speaking of, I have something to tell you guys about what Rhys asked me earlier,” Feyre burst into laughter.

“What is it? Tell us girl!” Amren says inpatient with her laughing.

“Rhysand asked me what GNI meant, and I explained that it is basically GNO but instead of going out we stay in the comfort of our own home,” Feyre explained trying to hold in her laughter.

“Ok so like basic information, I don’t understand what is so funny?” Nesta asked confused.

“It gets funny I promise! Rhysand didn’t know what the abbreviation of GNO meant either. He said, and I quote, “GNO? Isn't that a lady doctor?”” As Feyre erupted into a fit of laughter. “He thought GNO was a gyno!”

You were the first to laugh, “You’re joking?”

“I wish I was!” Feyre was on the ground crying, and everyone soon joined her. Even Amren choked on her wine a bit from laughing at the situation Feyre just informed you guys of. Oh, poor Rhys is never going to hear the end of this one from any of you guys.

A couple of glasses later everyone is most definitely feeling the effects of the wine a lot stronger than when you first started. All of you are cuddled up together in blankets giggling over anything and everything. You decided to bring something up that you have been curious about ever since you saw it.

“Hey, Nesta! When I came home earlier today, I saw Cassian reading one of your little books.” You wink at her. “What is the book about, and why was Cassian studying it so intently?” Nesta blushes.

“I made him read a specific chapter on something that I wanted to try…” she admits quietly as she drinks more of her wine. Everyone started screaming asking to know what it was.

“Oh, Nesta come on!! You have to tell us what it is now! We are all girls here, we can handle book smut, I'm sure!” Mor says as she sits up eagerly.

“Yeah, please Nesta!” everyone says simultaneously.

“You guys want a smutty bedtime story?” She giggles as she leaves to go to get her book, and everyone cheers. Nesta comes back with the book, and everyone is already in giggles excited about hearing something they might be able to apply into their lives. “Get comfortable girls because this chapter is going to be wild!”

Everyone’s faces were bright pink along with their jaws being on the floor hearing Nesta read the chapter from the sheer number of descriptions given. Amren was the only one who remained stone faced throughout the whole thing, but you could tell every word that fell from Nesta's lips were remembered by Amren.

“Well, I can surely see why you had Cassian read that chapter now,” Amren smirked as she finished off her glass.

“Especially with his wingspan,” you said quietly, but it did not go unheard as everyone looked your way. “What?! You guys act like you don’t see his wings every day! A girl can appreciate big wingspans and think nothing of it!” Except you do think about it a lot. Curious to know which one of the bat boys has the biggest one. Everyone giggles at your comment.

“Don’t let Cassian hear that y/n, it’ll go straight to his head and then he will tell Rhysand and Az that he has the biggest one,” Nesta said with a knowing smile.

“I don’t mean to be inappropriate, but I think everyone forgets about Rhyland's wings since he only has them for special occasions.” Feyre said smirking.

“Oh little sister, are you challenging my mate’s wingspan?” Nesta eyed playfully, but before Feyre could respond you chirped in with one more fact.

“Ladies we are forgetting about one more male,” you started to blush at the thought of your mate’s wingspan.

“Oh, my gods, Azriel!” Mor finished it for you with a shout, totally feeling dumb not even thinking about the male. “If I am being brutally honest, I think he blows the other two out the water with his wingspan,” Mor said with a smirk as she twirled her wine glass and gave you a wink. This made you really blush now.

“You really think Azriel has the biggest wingspan?” Feyre asked.

“Yes.” Amren spoke and this all made you laugh hearing her agree on something like this.

“Has anyone seen Azriel’s-” Nesta tried to question.

“No,” was heard throughout the room before Mor looked at you knowingly.

“The only person in this room who could even get that close would-be y/n,” Mor said matter of factly. You blushed so hard you hid your face behind your hands.

“Mor! Stop I don’t want that image in my head!” You said giggling.

“I wouldn’t mind it…” Nesta said with a smirk remembering her thought of both Cassian and Azriel. Once again everyone laughed. This night was full of so much comfort and laughter you truly felt so at peace. However, with wine come consequences.

“Oh I forgot y/n only favors a certain red head in bed,” Mor said without thinking.

“MOR!!” You glared at her, and she slapped her hands over her mouth and said sorry. But it was too late, they all heard it.

“YOU HAD SEX WITH LUCIEN?! I thought yall just cuddled all night?!” Feyre asked with a squeal scooting closer to you.

“Ah shit- I guess yall get to know everything now… Before I met you guys, I lived in the spring court for a while,” Mor sat back and nursed her wine waiting for the reaction of the others on what you were about to tell. You tell them the story just as you had with Mor in the bathroom at Rita's. Everyone was in shock to find out about your hidden casual sex relationship with the autumn court male. Feyre was once again the one to speak up first.

“Is what they say true?”

“Is what true Feyre?” you asked back.

‘About them you know… fucking you with the fire in their veins?” Feyre asked eagerly. Everyone then scooted closer to you just like Feyre did earlier. You giggled at their anticipation.

“Yes, and it is so much more than you could even imagine.” Everyone squealed at your response!

“Screw my book y/n, tell us about a time you and Lucien had sex together! I want to hear all about the fire thing!!” Nesta said as everyone else agreed, even Amren is eager. However, before you could respond you heard a sweet voice you wished you hadn’t.

“Y/n, you had sex with my mate?!” Elain said as she had just walked through the door with Azriel, both had bags in their hands from their shopping spree.

“Oh shi-” Mor said before Elain moved closer to you, Azriel following close behind her eyeing you with anger.

“Answer me y/n! Did you or did you not have sex with my mate?!” Elain raised her voice this time.

“Elain I- I don’t know what you heard but I can explain,” you tried to reason with her for gods know what. You owed this female nothing but here you were trying to diffuse the situation. She threw her bag to the floor and pointed a finger at your face.

“NO! You expect me to hear you out after I come home to see everyone having a girl’s night without me, let alone talking about you and Lucien having sex? You are such a backstabbing sl-” before Elain could finish that sentence off Nesta was at her side.

“Elain, seriously drop it. Y/n has a valid explanation, just hear her out,” Nesta pleaded but Elain didn’t care. Maybe it was the protectiveness of the bond coming out of her, but she was not backing down.

“No! I am done being the polite one! You had sex with my mate behind my back! Is that why you both left Rita's? I cannot believe you y/n! No wonder you haven’t found your mate! It’s because you are too busy being a slut and fucking someone else’s mate!” She was fully in your face now; you looked behind her to see Azriel looking like he was about to kill you for hurting Elain. Feyre tried to step in this time.

“Elain, you do not know what you are talking about, you need to stop now before you say something you will regret!”

“Feyre, I do know what I am talking about! I heard it clear as night! She fucked my mate!” You just about had enough of being talked about this way. You kindly pushed Feyre and Nesta away from Elain and gave them small smiles to say sorry for what you were about to do.

“You know Elain, that’s a lot of talk coming from you. A female who has a mate that gladly agreed to her wishes on space. He sleeps alone every night waiting for the day that you will accept him! Oh, but poor Elain has no one to love and accept her! Wake the fuck up! Your mate has done everything for you since the day he found out, and yet you are sleazing yourself away to someone else!” You point at Azriel. “You want to talk about a slut, look in the fucking mirror!” Nesta and Feyre are looking at each other not knowing what to do, while Amren and Mor decide to stay out of it and observe the situation, ready to jump in when needed.

“Be careful how you speak about-” Azriel’s voice said dangerously low, but before he could finish that sentence you cut him off.

“Oh, don’t give me that shit Az! It might have worked in that meeting but it sure as hell isn’t going to work here!” You glared at him. “You are just as much a part of this as I am! Letting her fawn over you knowing she has found her mate is ludicrous! Especially when you’re the one who has dreamt of having a mate to call his own for years! What if your mate was standing right in front of you all along?” Everyone in the room goes silent at your words as you step into his personal space. Azriel's shadows are dancing furiously around him as he glares at you. You try pulling on the bond but are met with nothing in return except emptiness. He still doesn't know.

“You bitch!” Elain cautiously pushes you away from Az. “How dare you talk to us this way when you’re the one who threw themself at my mate knowingly! At least we have self-control!” she pushes her finger against your chest. You swat it away.

“GODS ELAIN! Why do you always have to play the victim! You can never admit to anything you have done wrong! You and him both,” you point at her and Az, “are hurting more people than you realize with whatever you want to call yourselves!”

“Well at least we are happy, unlike your mate less self-” Elain tried to say as you yelled-

“THAT’S IT!” in an instant everyone was in between you. Nesta, Feyre, and Amren blocked you from Elain as Azriel and Mor held you back. “Let me go Azriel!” you thrash in their grip. You watch as Feyre and Nesta try and calm their sister. Amren serving as a middle ground between both groups. You keep thrashing around but it's no use. The shadow singer has you in a tight hold as Mor holds one of your arms. You look at Mor with pleading eyes, but she just shakes her head at you as if to say, “fighting her isn’t right.” And you knew that… You were just so taken back by both her and Azriel being against you without hearing your explanation. Sure, Elain was somewhat valid, but nowhere near as valid as the points you were making.

You soon calmed down and looked at Mor again, “Can you please let me go now? I won’t do anything… anymore.” Mor looked at Az and he put his lips against you ear and said-

“If you so much as think about insulting her or hurting her, I will not hesitate to fire back violence, so be a good girl and walk away.” You cannot lie, having your mate that close to you and hearing him call you a good girl had your heart betraying you for a moment. You shoved yourself out of their grip and stormed towards the door before you would do anything regrettable.

“Where do you think you’re going?! I am not done with you y/n!” Elain screamed as you walked past, the jealousy of the bond obviously still influencing her. You stopped in your tracks and turned around to see Azriel now trying to calm her down. Tears collected in your eyes at the sight. He was supposed to be doing that with you, not her! You begged, screamed, yelled, pushed, and thrashed against that bond inside of you fighting for any kind of response. You don’t know how long you stood there mindlessly watching him comfort Elain as you used every fiber of your being against the bond and got nothing in return. That was your last straw. The wicked voice in your head took full control. Quite literally letting all intrusive thoughts win. You started laughing.

“Gods Elain you have everyone in this damn world wrapped around your pretty little finger, don’t you? Well guess what, I see right through your fucking act of desperation for the male gaze and male attention.” Azriel looked at you as a warning to watch your next words, but Elain ran out of his arms and ran straight to you. You and she were now face to face. A test to see who was daring enough to hit first.

“Fuck you y/n!!” Elain said with a pause between each word, and you smirked.

“I may not be able to fuck myself Elain, but you know what I can fuck?” you slightly paused as the realization hit her. “I can go fuck with fire!” you say with a wink as you walk out the Town House’s front door straight to Lucien’s apartment.

Lucien’s POV:

Lucien was relaxing on his couch reading one of his favorite books before he felt it. An overwhelming flood of emotions hitting him. It was as if they were screaming at him from two different ends of the bond. He learned how to process Elain’s end of the bond throughout the years, but whatever was going on was too much to deal with. This was all unknown feeling. Lucien ran to grab his coat and he quickly put it on. Just as he was reaching for his door to run to Elain, he heard a hard knock. He opened the door to find you in a fit of rage as you stormed inside. “Okay, just come on in why don’t you.” he said sarcastically as he shut the door behind you. "Nice pajamas by the way," he says jokingly before looking at you to see you glaring at him. "Shit, who pissed in your wine tonight?"

Leonardo:

Leonardo has definitely dabbled in otome games, although I don't see him as having played a whole lot of them. I could see him being a huge fan of Ikemen Sengoku, though. His favorite IkeSen suitor would probably either be Hideyoshi or Sasuke, no you cannot convince me otherwise. I think he would have a loose-liking of Nobunaga but mostly just because he kinda gives Karai vibes (i do not ship Leo/Karai). I can kinda see him kinning Hideyoshi and admiring Sasuke, being more attracted to Nobu. Leo may be taken sightly aback if he realizes just how many otome games you've played. I don't think he would judge you, though. In fact, he might find it fun to play some of the routes with you and share thoughts, almost like an otome version of a book club. I giggle at the though of playing IkeVamp Leo's route and talking to TMNT Leo about IkeVamp Leo (his almost-namesake) and just how they're so different lmao. I NEED TO HEAR HIM VOICE AN OTOME MAN, HAVE YOU HEARD HIM SPEAK??? HE'S GOT THE PERF VOICE

As much as I hc Raph to be such a (secret) sucker for romance media, I feel like he wouldn't really understand or be interested in otome games. He wouldn't seriously judge, but he would tease you for playing so many. He'd joke, saying that you probably like your anime boyfriends more than him, but I think deep down that he would really want the reassurance. If he was gonna like any otome game, it would have to be one here the MC falls in love with a "monster," be that a literal one, in the sense of them just not being human (Like IkeVamp) or in the sense of the LI just having irredeemable qualities/being aggressive/being evil, I think that's the only kind he could really get behind. Any kind of Beauty and the Beast type of story he looovesssss. Because of that I could see him enjoying Ikemen Prince (very lightly, he just likes the comparison to beauty and the beast), but if he were going to get attached to any otome game, it would be Ikemen Vampire. I think Theo would be his kin, and his crush.

Donatello:

No matter how many otome games you've played, I guarantee that this man has played more. And not just otome games, but really any dating sim. The FNaF Dating Sim will always (ironically, mostly because of nostalgia) have a place in his heart, but honestly, I kind of see him being a big fan of MLQC (Lucien is his favorite 100% sweetheart, but also evil scientist? What do you mean it's not Don?) No matter what game he plays, he always either falls for his kinnie, or a woman way out of his league lmao. Without fail. I think he would also be a fan of the Your Boyfriend Dating Sim. It scratches the immoral, fucked up, obsessive part of his brain (my boy just wants someone to love him as much as he loves them :c)

We chatted as our recess bell rang once again.

My mathematics class go with Satan , Levi , and mammon and unfortunately Run hai. There's only one class i don't have with her and that is magic. The only good thing run hai has done so far is that she's able to bring Levi school......offline.

"hah hah!" You panted and ran away from RAD and made your way toh HOL.

The main door creaked as you enter . Waiting for you in the hall was Lucifer. 'huh why is he here didn't he have to do sone stupid council work or something '

"MC"

"umm-"

"Don't worry i was already informed about your health , care to explain what happened? Why were you suddenly unwell? Did you ate something bad?"

"What? NO!! What do you think happened? And whatever happened to me is none of your concern ...Run hai is still at RAD you should go back she might need you " you spat at him

"Yeah so much for protection Whatever" you ignored him and tried to went past him . But he grabbed your wrist.

The same one that had the mark . And it was still hurting .

You howled in pain and Lucifer immediately let go. His eye scanned your wrist and he let out a gasp upon seeing the mark.

"What is the meaning of this?" Suddenly he was in his demon form and you knew that you fucked up . And you fucked up very very bad.

Omegaverse Ikemen Prince Poll Results

First, thank you to all who contributed. I didn't expect as many votes!

I will post screenshots if the results and give my opinion on characters briefly, but neither of them mean that it will be 100% the dynamics I will use in my main writings. These will have a proper post on my main blog when I'm ready.

For start, I will say I love the idea of most of the princes being Omegas, but I will start with some guys who I can't say as that at all.

As much as I love the conflict of personalities that seem the opposite of the dynamic's expectation, some characters just fit better with their expected dynamic.

For Ikemen Prince, in my opinion, these characters are: Jin, Leon and Sariel as Alphas.

Results seems to agree with it, because their votes are so close to unanimous, with less than 30% divided for the other dynamics.

And on the same category but a different dynamic from above: Rio as a Omega.

His votes aren't quite as high, but are still over half of them.

A character I like the idea of the conflicting dynamic x personality, but can't see that being my main option, instead I would save this for specific AUs, is Chevalier. So my final opinion is that he is an Alpha (although he seems quite neutral, and I can also see him being kind of adynamic, but that's beyond the scope of this).

Community votes also go in the same direction as his percentage is also quite high.

Princes I'm quite neutral about because I still don't know them enough. But if I had voted, I would go with Alpha for Luke and Beta for Gilbert.

Their votes are more spread out. Gilbert is the first my vote wouldn't be for the most popular option, but people probably know him better than me.

Clavis is another I'm still learning about, but I know him better than the former two, and for me he is the most Beta of the princes.

Seems people agree.

Silvio is very confusing. He comes off as pretty Alpha-like in the begging, but as hus route progresses, the more I can see him as an Omega as well.

In the end, unlike with Chevalier, I lean mire towards Omega Silvio. Mostly because it seems fun.

But I don't disagree with community's opinion being mostly Alpha. It makes the most sense.

Yves is another I'm conflicted on. Omega seems obvious, but I like Beta Yves as well. I would go with the later only to test it.

As expected, his votes for Omega are quite high.

For the twins, I was more sure of Alpha Licht and Beta Nokto, although the later also has strong Omega vibes.

People match my opinion on Licht and the vibes I had from Nokto.

As for Keith, I made another, separate poll, but I will consider the first one here.

Host seems pretty Omega while Alter has strong Alpha vibes. Although I like the conflict if the opposite, the only way for them to have different dynamics is Alter feeling like a different dynamic than the one Host presented as, but they still would have the same biological dynamic that rules some things about them...

They are really confusing and have all kinds of opportunities, but I like their presented dynamic and Host's being Omega and Alter adjusting to it.

But I understand community going for Beta. It balances out having two of them with different vibes and don't go towards the obvious.

That would have been my second option.

I only have vibes on the new princes, since we know little of them. My votes would be for Alpha Matthias, Beta Azel and Omega Kagari. (although I've seem someone post about Omega Matthias and I'm not opposed to all of them being Omegas.

The only one where my opinion differs from community vote is Azel. You probably also know more about him than me.

As for the side characters, I added them late, but I never really thought about them. I would go with:

Alpha: Cyran and Lucien

Omega: Carlo

Beta: Liam, Roderic and Walter

The only one I don't match final vites seems to be Roderic.

Last but not least, Emma.

I was in conflict. General otome protagonist vibe is Omega and I wouldn't disagree with it.

She also has a vibe that would make me think Alpha. But compared to Mai, she doesn't have as much if that Alpha vibe.

So I think of her more as a Beta.

(less decisively, maybe her dynamic could be whatever pairs well with her partner and the kind of fic you want)

Since you read the ACOTAR series and also the The Folk of the Air series, I wanted to ask you something and share my thoughts ^^

One of my all-time favourite characters in the books is Taryn and I don't like how people normally talk about her in the fandom. I genuinely think she's a character who everyone does not understand. In my mind, she's honestly a really good morally grey female character. But that's just my thoughts, I know some people might not agree with me-

Anyway, while I was in shower, I was thinking about Taryn (my obsession with her is unhealthy, yes) and I was wondering how she would be like in the ACOTAR universe.

In the Lost Sisters book, Cardan mentions that Taryn is the most cruelest or cunning of all (sumn like that) solely because she doesn't think she is which really made me like her much much more. I think people sorely underestimate her abilities both in charming and manipulating people as well as just in combat. Though, of course, she's not as good as Jude in those aspects. So it made me wonder whether the IC or just the characters in general would underestimate Taryn and then be proven horribly wrong when she reveals herself to be just as smart/cunning/cruel as the normal fae.

In the books, the Fae are cruel, and Taryn does want to be fae so...

Also, who do you think would be Taryn's Mate in the ACOTAR series, ignoring all canon ships?

I feel like she might pair well with Rhysand, solely because of the Rhysand is Evil theory and how Rhysand believes himself to be good. I think they'd be an interesting pair, with maybe Rhysand underestimating her first then Taryn proving him wrong but with no one realising what Taryn is doing but him typa thing, ya know? But then again, I'm not very familiar with ACOTAR-

It’s always “we need more complex women!” and “we need more morally grey women!” but these mfs can’t even handle my girl Taryn Duarte.

Taryn to me is like Elain if she was morally grey. She is cunning and everyone underestimates her, including herself. She doesn’t like violence, but she will resort to it if necessary to protect herself and her family. She married Locke, who gives off crueler Lucien vibes. Jude called her the perfect lady. Also she had a healer moment in there when she stitched up Jude’s wounds, and I HC Elain as a healer too.

So who in ACOTAR would I put her with? Probably Eris Vanserra. He’s got the cunning to match her and he’s the only true morally grey character in this series plus they can bond over failing their siblings.

I can explain. I can explain about Lucien...I like the way how easy it is to say out his name. Lucien...And also, his job occupation is the same dream job I want! A pediatric psychiatrist! At least his JOB doesn't describe what he is like...does it? 5~6/10.

Sullivannnn!! His nationality reminds me of mine! He's part chinese, and my nationality is korean which kinda relates as the same asians. I also love how tanned his skin is compared to others, it gives unique vibe!! 7/10!

Anon Feedback: for the midnight muse feedback: what was missing: for me most of the plot was missing, besides their bickering phase and then them getting together i think we didn't really get much else. also a backstory for the reader character but i understand why we didnt get it here since it's a x reader fic

Yes, backstories will be flushed out for sure, a bit difficult to do like you said because x reader, but i will for sure work on this!

what you didn't like: honestly most of the relationships between them, the talk between the bat boys and az was good but it felt like they just apologized and moved on and that was it. but feyre was a terrible friend with the whole rhys situation and in her talk with reader she basically admitted she was prioritizing rhys over her and reader was just like "it's fine, we're best friends" it made me not like feyre for the rest of the story. cass going to befriend the girls immediately also feels a little weird, like i get the vibes that he didn't really think about it but i think if i was azriel i would be sad about it, of all the people in the world my bestfriend went to befriend the people i don't like? that's low. and then their relationship because it felt like it dragged on where they hated each other to then have them get together after one nice talk and then the story ends after a couple of chapters. there was some tension between them but just sexual so when they got together that's the only thing i felt. the little fight they had was unnecessary, it literally served no purpose and made no sense.

Working on friendship relationships, noted! Will also work on Cass becoming a more gradual friend instead of jumping in headfirst with them behind az's back, good feedback for sure. I will also work on reader x feyre's relationship because they're supposed to be better friends than that, so good thing to point out, thank you!

what you adored: i like the characters. reader is cool but if it gets turned into a book like i said i wish we got more story for her. i like az and even when he was being an asshole it's clear it's mostly because he has a lot on his mind and probably needs a therapist. cassian is funny sometimes but he gives too much frat boy at other times and it's a bit icky because it gives me war flashbacks, i also don't love the himbo characters usually so i think it's really personal preference. feyre was a terrible friend but other than that she was just there i guess. rhys was also giving me the ick too much in the beginning but then towards the end it got better, i like how he went and talked to reader about feyre (almost better than feyre herself did) and he was really good with azriel especially during their talk. lucien ended up not really serving much of a purpose in my opinion but his character is cool

there were def some times where i was writing cass where i was like this is probably way too much, so i'll probably rework some of his liners and such. i didn't really have a backstory for feyre x rhys but i think i do now so that will help give the story and their actions some meat/will be reworking thier characters a bit so that makes more sense as well. yeah i need to figure out what i'm doing with lu. i was trying to allude that at the coffeehouse he was there to show off reader to make one of the barista's jealous, so they were kind of using each other a little bit, reader didn't know her feelings for az at the time so she wasn't hanging out with him to make az jealous but luc kept suggesting coffee because his love interest works there.

what I should remove completely: the fight after they got together and i think how they end up being friends. i don't know cassian just going up to them and suddenly they were all besties was a little weird to me also i get what you were doing with the elevator scene because at that point they only talked if they were locked together but it's just so cliché and it's another one to add to the others like the talk was nice but it being in the elevator was predictable

I did get a lot of feedback about the fight, so this has been added to my feedback notes a lot. i mean, i don't mind the elevator cliche, or a cliche at all, as long as the entire book didn't feel like one...i'll consider it for sure during the rewrite and see how i feel about it, so thank you for the feedback on that!

things that felt off or you felt were unresolved: their relationship because like i said we got them hating each other and then they got together and it just ended. and i think at that point they really didn't know anything about each other so there was even more of a whiplash when they actually start dating immediately because you only see sexual tension before that and then suddenly they're super nice to each other and act like they always liked each other. i think people go into it already liking azriel and knowing they'll end up together so they're just waiting on it and never take it as not being a possibility because its azriel and they're reading fanfics about him because they already like him but if it's a nameless character you need to make people like the characters and like them together and feel the tension between them and like they'd be good together which i dont really get from this fic. most of the plot felt unresolved too because the dad thing never really went anywhere which i guess was the plot besides the romance, also lucien was there and then just wasn't (it also didn't really feel like he liked her much)

will definitely be working on their chemistry and them getting to know each other/building a relationship. i agree with what you're saying that they just got together and didn't know anything about each other so i'll edit that too. az's dad will have more presence in the rewrite as well, as i was writing i kept thinking of ideas (as we can tell) so that's why they weren't predated in the story etc, so i will def fill those holes in as well!

also this might just be my opinion but the idea for her tattoo is so bad im sorry, i had to stop when i read it and it's her first tattoo as well. just the thought of it looks ugly to me but even the meaning is off for me... maybe if you want to keep the hand idea let him get it because he's already so heavily tattooed that the big two detailed hands piece might kind of blend in but for her first tattoo let him get her something else, either something meaningless and pretty (i mean she's in art school i know she has to have better ideas) or something important for her but not necessarily a relationship tattoo not even a year into their relationship.

i'm not going to lie, i struggled so hard with what to give her a tattoo of and i think that's also why i didn't actually add it into the story is because i had no idea what to do. i do agree that she shouldn't have gotten that when they've only been together for not that long, and it is cringey but i felt like it made sense at the time. i will work on her tattoo ideas tho

also (and i might be talking out of my ass) but if his injury only happened a year ago i'm not sure he'd be even drawing already even if shaky, you'd have to do some research there but i think it wouldn't be bad if you pushed it back a little further in the past

this is also a fair point, i'm also not sure, but if i ever go to publish it will be a different injury so i will for sure do some research about that when i go to describe it! and yeah, i can totally move it a bit further into the past like you said :)

Hello yes this is your anon from before with the Cat!Elain first thoughts shenanigans I’ve just finished your first chapter & LOVED it!! Especially how you got that vibe of how it's difficult for Elain to match up her intentions (movements and talking specifically) with her new form. The sensation of whiskers and of her tiny heart when she's running really stood out<3

If you are still interested I've been daydreaming about it and my current thoughts are on Lucien being oblivious, and I don't know if you've already mapped that out, so feel free to ignore my brain cells clacking together:

Eventually someone (Rhys, Feyre, Tamlin, etc.) will probably ask if Lucien has noticed anything… odd, with his magical golden eye™ and I’d imagine he sees or senses magic around Little Lady, but he thinks Lady is magical in the way that Eris’ smoke hounds are, like it's just a natural thing for some Prythian animals except he thinks Little Lady’s magic pertains to sunbeams because whenever she falls asleep in a sunbeam the light seems to linger on her a little bit longer than it really should. (In this idea Lucien is unaware that it is actually his own underlying Day court powers causing this event to occur) (Or potentially there is no lingering light and he just thinks her napping in a sunbeam is magical) and what do you mean there’s no such thing as sunbeam cats, look at the way her eyes sparkle! Maybe she's a Day court cat. If Eris can have smoke hounds, I can have a sun cat and anyway what else could be causing all those magical threads around her all the time Tamlin stop laughing you're making her angry-

That first chapter I really needed to just lay down some plotty plot groundwork. I’ve got the entire “plot” very vaguely mapped out, perhaps around 8-10 chapters total. I originally was imagining shorter chapters but unfortunately I just finished chapter 2 and it’s much longer than I originally anticipated hahaha. But believe it or not I am incorporating some real plot lines in here (or trying to at least).

Lucien is going to be so oblivious it’s painful so I’m right there with you.

Ah, Little Lady’s magic. That does give me something to consider and think about! In Chapter 2 you’re going to see a bit more on Lucien being like what the fuck did that cat just understand me? And those shenanigans will only continue. 😉

What I pick up on the most from Azriel is how strong his jealousy/envy is. He wants a mate so badly and I think a part of him feels like he needs to have a mate so he feels worthy of love. And I have seen shippers talk about how much they hate the elucien mating bond because it’s “possessive” and neither Elain or Lucien have shown interest, (he’s giving her space and being respectful but if he didn’t give her space I’m sure he would be called clingy/possessive and let’s not forget how Azriel said it never went further than finger brushes and glances but apparently they’re destined for each other & know so much about one another) but then claim Elain’s true mate is Azriel. Enough with ship wars, let Elain live her best life gardening and baking and instead of dating, she becomes a bunny mother to the bunnies in her garden!🍃🍓

Lucien literally looks at Elain with longing, but sure. There's no interest there! We have absolutely no idea what Elain is thinking or feeling about Lucien, but sure! Let's assume the absolute worst. Cassian called Nesta a bitch, Feyre despised Rhys when they met, but as we all know, nothing ever changes between characters. :)

Also, have we not all read the same books? Where Feyre and Rhys have sex and call each other "mine", and I'm not going to search but probably all of her couples do that? If people dislike the mating bond as a trope that's fine, and personally I don't like the animalistic vibe that it can have, but it's disingenuous to only have an issue with it when it's this one ship. It'd be much easier for people to just say they don't like elucien, rather than twisting themselves into contradictory pretzels to somehow come up with a "moral" (using that word loosely here) justification for not liking it. I feel like if you have to shit on other people in order to justify your own preferences (e.g., people who ship elucien don't respect women!) then that tells me something about the confidence they have in their own ideas about what's going to happen. :)

Elain as a bunny mom, I love that! She gets associated with the aesthetic aspects of her gardening and outdoors-loving self, but I like to think of her as being more connected to nature and really understanding the science behind things, and being good with animals. Like she knows where to find willow bark and what to combine it with to combat their ridiculous fae periods, and she knows that herbs Feyre needs to help with morning sickness. Elain is helping people in Velaris rebuild their gardens after the war, and I'd like to think that she's learning a lot as she does.

I often see them compare Ruhnlidia and El/riel because their love are both 'forbidden'

Ruhlidia: If anyone that works for the asteris finds out that one of their agents is f*cking one of their enemies, the asteris would very much kill her. Or torture her for Information and betrayel. From the start they hid their identities from each other, even when they're talking mind to mind, so their plans and secrets are completely safe. Their lives are at stakes

But wtf is Rhys going to do when he finds el/riel banging in the gardens? "That's it! Give me your dagger, you're in time out!"??? And what would Elain think of that? She doesn't know that Azriel is forbidden to see her.

Like bruh- if Azriel had told Rhys that he's over Mor and wants to start something with Elain, I'm 100% sure he would've understood and maybe told him to wait until Elain is ready to reject the bond or something. Lucien, though heartbroken, would literally understand and accept it. He already acknowledged that Elain needs space and time and he visits rarely as it is. Remember when he growled seeing Azriel and Elain together but later on told Feyre that Azriel is a decent male? Goes to show that Lucien would fight whatever the mating bond is doing to him and accept the rejection.

Even Celestina and Hypaxia (I forgot how their names are spelled) have an actual forbidden romance. They're barely on page together. Celestina is married to someone the Asteris had forced on her and if they find out she's with someone else, they'll kill Hypaxia (Celestina said so).

LoA and Helion's love was forbidden and still is. After Beron found out, he turned Loa into what she is today. Loa rejected Helion so baby Lucien would be safe from Beron..

And you know what these ships, whose love actually are forbidden, have in common? Each couple is in love. Azriel doesn't seem to love Elain and based on Elain's actions she doesn't seem to love him. It's mostly attraction and interest. But not love 💀

I think the major difference in those relationships is the forbidden love aspect because of the "enemy".

And with the LOA, we don't even know if it was forbidden for her to be with Helion. All we know is her family decided for her and she didn't fight against it (if I'm remembering correctly). Helion even tells us it is her choice to stay with Beron which doesn't sound like forbidden love.

Forbidden love from your friends and family isn't romantic, it's a red flag. Especially because Rhys isn't "evil" family.

Rhys honestly wants what is best for the people he cares for and if he truly got the vibe that Az had real feelings for Elain, he would have stood at the ready to support him. The only reason Rhys was furious and told Az to stay away is because he knows Az isn't over Mor.

And I'm sorry but when Az's two brothers are Pro Elucien (Cassian feeling sadness for Lucien not being able to be connect with his Mate and Rhys demanding Az show Lucien respect) and showing literally no support for E/riel (Cassian doesn't even see any romantic undertones with them), that speaks volumes.

An Elain book is not going to turn into an "US against THEM!" with she and Az hiding their love from their family. This is one of those situations where if the people that know Az best aren't on board, it's for a good reason.

Alpha's Temptation - Chapter 35 - Part 1

Instead of Wren being the one avoiding me, I'm now the one avoiding him.

Lylah can't even hang out with me at school anymore because she feels bad leaving Wren alone.

I'm with Jay most of the time, which earns me dirty looks from Wren on the occasion that I do see him.

It's a whole mess, really.

I've tried to stop being guilty about it.

There's nothing I can do. I don't want to talk to Wren.

I don't want a confrontation.

I don't want anything to do with it.

Usually, I wouldn't be so worried about all this if Daemon was around but he's been gone for two days already.

We call and message every day but of course, nothing can replace actually being in his presence.

He sometimes gets me to send pictures of myself and compliments my outfits, even though I'm hiding my face in every photo and take an hour to get one I'm okay with sending.

I've been hoping I'll get one back but all I ended up getting was one disgruntled, looking selfie where he looks like he just woke up.

But it made me smile anyway.

While on a call with him later in the day, something pops into my head.

"Oh, I never got the chance to ask you... um what happened with that guy who died? Zeke?"

"Hmm?" Daemon sighs. "Like I said. We thought he was going to make it. He had traces of heroin in his bloodstream, the amount was concerning but the doctors said it'd be okay. Then a day later when they checked again, he seemed to have more in him and it was impure, laced with metals. You know how deadly some metals are to wolves."

"Hmm," I acknowledge.

We learned about that stuff in school.

"Tristan thinks it has something to do with my brother because he used to be an addict..."

"He was?"

I mean, I did have my suspicions.

"Yeah. I even saved him from an overdose once, that ungrateful little shit."

"Really?" I exclaim. "That must have been so... so scary."

"It was. And he's sober now but if he's still got access to the shit... uh... he might be connected to all of this."

"You've got to tell Lucien..."

"Trust me. We have. And he investigated too but there's no evidence correlating with my brother. So he just has to take Theo's word."

"But you don't buy it?" I ask.

"I don't know what I buy," Daemon sounds conflicted. "We have a big pack. There are plenty of others out there that could be the culprit. Tristan just hates Theo. I don't blame him for being suspect, though. That's why we're looking into it."

"I see..."

"Drugs can spread like wildfire through a pack. It's dangerous. Leaves us vulnerable to attack. The thing is, Lucien already has so much on his hands and I'm helping too but it doesn't change the fact that he has no Luna to support him."

I feel for Lucien. I really do.

He's responsible for so much, the weight of it all on his shoulders, yet he keeps himself together.

Even without his mate. I just want to give him a big hug.

Today is the day Daemon comes back, so I'm pretty excited to say the least.

We're also starting a play in theater which has been super fun so far.

I'm just going to be doing work backstage because I have severe stage fright but it's still fun to see the people rehearsing their scenes as I design the props.

I'm finishing my homework up on the couch as I think about school stuff when I hear the door open.

I look to see if it's Lucien but to my surprise it's Theo.

His eyes dart around strangely, immediately spotting me.

"Ash," he says.

"Hello?"

I give him a look of confusion.

I don't really understand what business we'd ever have together.

Theo looks about the room, turning his head left and right.

"Daemon isn't here, is he?"

I'm getting really off vibes from him.

"No..?" I reply, my voice going up in question.

"Good."

I don't have time to ask what he means before he's coming toward me, moving quickly.

"H-hey."

I jump up from the sofa, backing up as he reaches for me.

"What are you doing?"

Fear starts rising in me, adrenaline rushing through my veins.

What is he trying to do?

Theo doesn't reply, just advances on me.

So I skitter around the sofa, nearly tripping over a small table at the end of it.

"Stop," I demand but he's nearly right behind me so I attempt a dash to the front door, barely making it two feet before he grabs me by the arm, forcefully yanking me back.

I yelp in pain as he slams me against the wall, holding me in place with his sheer strength.

"Let go," I yell. "Let go of me."

It's impossible for me to move, smashed against the white plaster on my stomach.

Theo ignores my request.

"I've been waiting for a chance to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me," he says, breathing heavily in anticipation.

His hand grips the bottom of my shirt and I realize what he's trying to do.

He wants to take it off.

"No," I scream. "STOP. STOP."

He rips off my shirt, tearing the fabric in the process so it falls to the ground in a useless muddle.

He starts to laugh maniacally.

"I was right. A fucking Dark Moon pack mark."

No sooner than a few seconds later is the front door slammed open, a furious-looking Daemon charging into the house.

"What the fuck is going on here?" he growls when his eyes find Theo pinning me to the wall.

I feel Theo's hand on my back, pointing to my mark.

"This."

My face is smashed up against the wall but I'm able to spare a look at Daemon.

For a brief moment, he looks shocked as he takes in the sight of my bare skin.

Dread floods me because I know that means he's seen them.

Not the mark but the deep, gruesome scars that litter my upper back, my stepfather's favorite place to mutilate me.

"Right under our noses," Theo sneers but at the moment I don't care that I've been discovered.

I care because Daemon saw.

That's all I can think.

Daemon has seen all of me, how disgusting I am.

My stomach drops in terror.

There's no way for me to reverse this.

I burst out crying, thrashing helplessly under Theo's strong hold to try and get him off.

At that, Daemon's face darkens, snapping back to full-blown anger.

Before I can register anything, he's lunging at Theo, violently pulling him off me.

He slams him back into the opposite wall, so hard that it cracks and caves in.

"Don't touch him..." he roars, eyes glowing bright with rage.

He punches Theo hard in the face.

Blood immediately blooms on the blond's cheek and he winces but reopens his eyes to glare at his brother.

"By your reaction, I'm guessing you knew," Theo snarls.

Daemon's nostrils flare.

"Shut your fucking mouth."

"You knew, you traitor. I should've known a dirty rogue like you was in on this."

Theo pushes him back, raising his fists.

Daemon blocks his first few hits, getting a few in himself but misses blocking Theo's last one, also getting a blow to the face.

That fuels his anger and he grunts, punching his brother in the gut.

I watch in horror as they fight, sinking to the floor  by the stairwell.

I'm scared. I'm scared of how they're hurting each other, knocking things over.

"Stop," I scream. "Stop it."

But my plea falls on deaf ears.

"Did he seduce you? Is that why you're trying to protect him?"

Theo takes another punch to the stomach before kneeing Daemon hard in the leg.

"You try anything and I will..."

"Why? You really care that much about a runt?" Theo spits, shoving Daemon back.

The bigger Alpha growls in rage, grabbing Theo by the neck and slamming him against the dining table, shattering the wood.

"You're dead."

"What's it to you?" Theo continues, despite sputtering for air after getting the wind knocked out of him. "That's what he is. A runt. Good for getting fucked and not much else..."

I swear I hear the bone crack before I see it.

A Court of Thorns and Roses

Feyre was the first female MC that didn't piss me off completely. Granted, before I found booktok I had been reading Wattpad stories but I really liked Feyre still although I was perturbed that her name began with "Fey" and the book was about Fae. Anyway... I stanned Nesta from book 1 page whatever page she was introduced. After Tamlin took her to the Spring Court (and I don't know if this is just my toxic side taking over but) I was hoping Feyre and Lucien would just get together. There's something about side characters that are just * chefs kiss *. I liked how everything made sense and by that I mean the names of characters, how they looked and acted. It was all just perfection to me. And while Amarantha was bad I can honestly say that if my sister were involved and I was her, I would have gone mad as well (not justifying, just acknowledging that there was reason). As for Rhys, loved him, but that was because I thought he was morally grey but Lucien remained my favourite.

All in all, an eye-opener to me that Faerie smut was the piece missing in my life. Loved the book, thought the plot was great and nothing pissed me off *that* much.

Loved the smut. Firstly.

Secondly, Mor is fantastic. She is just so stunning I can't. Amren was immediately my favourite character (AND SHE REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF EDNA MODE which is probably why I love her lmaoo). Cassian and Azriel are beautiful. Feyre is a bit self-righteous throughout the plot but whatever she's Fae now she can be. Unfortunately, I was so in love with the first book that i started looking up memes and things and so her and Rhys being mates was spoiled for me but loved it nonetheless. The Suriel is a baddie.

Feyre and Rhys began to piss me off. I can't put my finger on why, it's not them individually but their relationship is aggravating to me.

In the HL meeting when he said he made her high Lady bc he loves her, her powers have nothing to do with it. LIKE?? The nepotism is strong and she is useless. Literally a lesser fae in Velaris would have been more suited to the position. And then she thinks her word is law like girlie I would not take you seriously.

The Night Court is pretty embarrassing. I mean they can't control themselves in the meeting and attack almost everyone. Pls. Immature. If anything Kallias would have reason to attack and because Rhys actually did something that wasn't saying a few mean words to him.

Nesta is amazing as usual, I feel so sorry for her. Elain can choke.

Was a bit sad that Rhys had to live but anyway

And also what was the point of Amren losing her powers now she's just rude with nothing to back it up like ew

Cassian is just a big heap of love. I've always loved him. I wish Elain would give Lucien a chance he's honestly so precious.

And yes, Feyre, having a child when you know war is breaking out is splendid timing it's not like you have eternity to make a baby. I understand she wanted a piece of Rhys blah blah but like im a bit tired of them.

First of all, would just like to say:

NESTA = PERFECTION

no debate.

The IC can mind their own fucking business. Rhys and Feyre can shut up. I don't know who Elain thinks she is. Amren, literally just go ride Varian and keep your trap shut you have been meaningless since ACOWAR. I don't hate Mor, but she gives obnoxious vibes and I don't like how she treats Nesta.

Rhys is such an arrogant cunt.

Eris has my heart. He can literally rip me apart and I'd apologize.

I've always thought the Autumn Court males were hottest since book 1. There is just something about them that makes me wanna get on my knees.

I didn't like how Nesta didn't touch the stone on Ramiel or whatever it was called. But stan Gwyn and Emerie. Although I don't understand why people ship Em and Mor so much. Unless I'm not remembering something, Em called Mor beautiful or something once and they never properly interacted. Like I think lots of women are beautiful doesn't mean I'm in love with them?? However, I do think Emerie deserves better. Nesta deserves better than Cassian. And Gwyn deserves better than Azriel.

Cassian really disappointed me.

I know my views on characters in SF are explicitly related to how they treat Nesta and despite their being mates he was horrendous.

Always looking for a reason to be angry at her. Always agreeing with everyone's negative opinions on Nesta.

Mor saying she belongs in the CON was despicable and it made me dislike her completely. Like literally shut up. Especially since it's clear we don't know the entire story regarding what happened with Mor and her family and Eris. I'd love to know the full truth because despite "truth" being her power, I feel like she's hiding something on purpose for no other reason than she might look bad. At least that's how Eris made it seem. But really how reliable is he anyway.

In short, tons of questions unanswered that have me craving the next book, tons of characters I now hate. Nesta should never bow down to a bitch like Rhys and Feyre needs to take it down a notch. She is not all that.

Despite the characters pissing me off, I love the story and the plot and how it's written. I do hope the books still coming are in third person POV I like it much better than first person.

I do want more Elain content. She upset me so much when she said she remembers Feyre and Azriel going to save her and not Nesta. Like girl how can you throw the women who loves you more than anything and would die for you under the bus like that. But i feel like there's tons more to her that I can't wait to hear about.

The part in acotar where tamlin loved that winter forest painting and told feyre that he's not alone anymore, I love that part where he was finally opening up about his vulnerability

(I actually think that was the moment he realised he was like 'in love with her' but that's just me)

I know a lot of people don't like the first book cause it has no rhysie dick but if I had to choose my fav from this god awful series it wud be the first one.

I know it's a sad excuse for a beauty and the beast re-telling, the pacing is slow, tamlin has no beast characteristics and as always feyre's narration is weird but atleast it has a plot.

It gives a mediaeval fantasy vibe not like feyres over sized sweaters and leggings in acomaf or hello toilets?? It's like they are set in two different time periods *Sigh*

And tho tamlin is mostly depressed sad white guy I actually like that he is shy and distant at first but then slowly opens up to feyre like she does to him. It's how they both bring down their walls and fall in love (unlike how rhysand literally manipulates feyre into accepting that mating bond with his sob story. ) Their interactions are also sweet and balanced with luciens humour. Like the part at breakfast when tam's 'hungry' gaze makes feyre all hot and heavy and Lucien is like I'm trying to eat.

I think someone mentioned this before but Tamlin and feyre in the first book had so much in common with than rhysie and her.

Like the anon pointed out, that scene is tamlin opening up about his vulnerability to feyre because she understands. She was also thrust into a situation she didn't ask for, with a terrible father and uncaring siblings. She didn't like hunting she has said it in canon but did it because she had to. Likewise tamlin didnt ask to be HL but he has no choice. I also like this line from the text,

I paused with my foot on the threshold. “That’s what happens when you’re responsible for lives other than your own, isn’t it? You do what you have to do.”

This I think is equivalent to the painting scene. This is feyre opening up to Tamlin about her vulnerabilities.

And their relationship is so much more realistic and not epic fantasy love *gags*. Atleast the romantic scenes in Acotar weren't cringing-till-i-throw-up bad like they were in Acomaf

We apologized at dinner. He even brought me a bouquet of white roses from his parents’ garden, and while I dismissed them as nothing, I made certain that Alis took good care of them when I returned to my room. There are so many other scenes that like these which so cute and sweet. Like the one with the pool of starlight, the singing willow, the summer solstice, where she tends to his hands after he fight with the bogge ig, when the summer faerie dies.

The first book in general had so much potential. I mean the concept of the seven courts and the girl going through those trials (as stupid as they were) to save the guy was actually not bad if only it had a better author to execute it.

Firstly, to everyone who suggested I read this series, thank you.

I was sceptical about it at first since I'm not really one to really like fae-stories. Up until I finished this series, my idea of fae was basically Tinkerbell and similar things. This, of course made me think that ACOTAR wasn't a series I would enjoy.

I was wrong.

The world is so vibrant and beautifully described, with believable characters I feel I can talk to if they were real. The plot (especially ACOMAF and ACOWAR) had me left in awe, the twists were mind-blowing, and I really didn't see them coming.

For ACOTAR - I started it thinking in the later chapters it was a Beauty and The Beast retelling, with Tamlin's beast form and so on. But the last 3rd of the book had me so hooked and invested I couldn't put it down. I finished around 2 am on a Saturday night and immediately started ACOMAF afterwards. I loved the way Tamlin and Lucien was written, Feyre started out to me as a usual-female lead, but then grew into an unstoppable force that brought hope back to Prythian. When reading the rest of the series, you can see how many of the events of ACOTAR was a catalyst for Feyre to discover her true self, and even set into her role as High Lady.

ACOMAF was amazing. The shift that happened from backing Tamlin and loving him to seeing the truth behind him and seeing the truth behind Rhysand. Sarah J Maas captured the true meaning of "rose coloured glasses" where Tamlin, in book one, was the beautiful caring man and turned into a horrible, possessive beast once everything was over. I know a few relationships that were like that, and that added to the personal realism I felt. Chapters 55 and 54 were beautifully written, I don't often cry but Rhysand baring it all to her, really touched some nerve. The found family theme came through strong here. The ending of the book, of course had me cussing at Tamlin for a good hour.

ACOWAR was unlike the first two books. We learned more about Prythians politics and got to see more of the other courts and their High Lords. I loved the political aspect, it for me added a sense of reality to the story, where war isn't simply about fighting and armies, but also about building alliances with unlikely friends. Elain's pain and sorrow were so beautifully written, I truly felt sorry for her. Then with chapter 76 and 77... The most heart-breaking thing I've ever read. Tamlin did redeem himself a little in the novel, however he still gave off "I'll get her back" vibes - which we know won't happen. I loved the battle strategies and the vivid descriptions of the battle scenes; however, they were nothing as vivid as for example in Game OF Thrones, but I enjoyed it, nonetheless.

I didn't really enjoy ACOFAS - it felt like a filler. I finished it in a day, and I felt like it didn't add much to the story. There were some interesting parts, and fun bits but overall, I thought it could've been absorbed into ACOSF, with ACOSF being split at part 2.

ACOSF, I enjoyed reading from Nesta and Cassian's point of view. Cassian's role within the Night Court is explored more as well as his relationship with Rhys. Nesta and Cassian’s relationship is also a rough one at first, but when they finally give into their feelings, it was beautiful. Her character development was also done well, I went from hating her to understanding and eventually liking her. Elain also growing into her own role and finding her own bold nature was refreshing. However, in this book, I didn't really like the "spice" - I don't read books for the spice of it - but the last few spicey scenes had me feeling quite queasy. To each their own, but definitely not for me. I also felt, at the end of the book with Cassian being forced to do the old crone's bidding, that there should've been more internal conflict, I would've liked to see more from his perspective.

All and all Sarah J Maas solidifies her stance as Queen of Fantasy amongst the others, she's completely in control of her narrative and knows where she wants her characters to go.

His first introduction is his half body with the word "Blow Your Mind" and gold die table lamp. I'm not quite sure about the color, but when we see the lamp that has sunlight it was gold.

In a dictionary "Blow Your Mind" is slang to find something very exciting and unusual. For the gold. Gold is a cousin to the color yellow and the color brown and is also associated with illumination, love, compassion, courage, passion, magic, and wisdom. When the lamp dies it will be dark right? I think when we with Kiro doing something in the dark there will be something unusual. Same as Lucien, I was still confused about his first appearance.

At 0:33, They shoot sunflowers, and we see mc wearing a light blue dress and wearing a blue ribbon in her hair (she is adorable T.T). Sunflowers have a deep love meaning, a person who has loved with sincerity, purity never forgets, on the contrary, truly loves until the end and loyalty. Light blue It is a color that evokes trust, honesty, loyalty, confidence, softness, and responsibility. The only thing that I can take from this is immortal loyalty and trust in each other.

At 0:35, A bear doll, "Lafune"? "Lajune"?

So Kiro's scene is not about the story, but about His loyalty and his love that always increase like a ballons in the sky

His first sign was a camera with a red overlay, with words "Gejellig" and "Freo."

Camera, it was probably talking about memory. Red overlay... ugh... red color meaning is love so yeah... "Gejellig" I can't find anything for "Gejellig." but the word "Gazellig" from the Dutch language means "Cozy" in English. And "Freo" I can't find anything sorry:")

So Cozy love memory for his first "sign."

At 0:08, his appearance with the word "only" and "The number of times something happens over a particular period." (we will talk about the second layer first, the art later)

Word "only" will have a connection with other puzzles "The number of times something happens over a particular period." means "frequency." in English (the number of times something happens within a particular period, or the fact of something happening often or a large number of times)

We often do "something" with him, hmmm.

At 0:45, Gavin's half body with the sentence "Holy you unmind" that's what I can read from that *sob*

I don't know how to explain it but, that means he is okay if we are "holy" (I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING SORRY IF I WAS DISAPPOINTING YOU) But I see Gavin is the one who has a "Window" at this scene. I don't know how Gavin's is doing in season 2. So far I know that Victor join BS right? and Lucien and Gavin is the one on the "other side" This scene should explain his role (SORRY SORRY IF I WAS WRONG I DIDN'T READ TOO MUCH ABOUT THE MAIN CHAPTER)

At 0:59, Gavin with white Cecilia flower on his shirt, a lot of camera pictures, and a red vibe, word "By" and "-ve."

Let's start with the Cecilia flower.

Cecilia means Flowers that tend toward a white color symbolize purity and innocent love. It only grows where harsh winds blow and is just as intangible as the true heart of an unbound soul. Gavin Evol still winds right... Cecilia symbolize Gavin The camera means a lot of memory. The word "by" maybe for the Picture for example "By Gavin." Word "-ve" I'm sure it was "Love" A conclusion that I got from this is "A lot of your romantic memory with Gavin"

At 1:18, they shoot a black-purple-ish Cecilia flower (?) A dark red or maroon shirt, and a black-purple-ish interior.

(Wait they we're doing the scene at flor? at the mattress? WAIT, AT BALCONY? I'm still not sure okay.. but the bird design at the gate make a balcony vibe) It was the opposite thing from his previous scene White Cecilia flower for the " innocent love" is gone now white is change to the darker color especially red Let's just go to the conclusion: So in my opinion meaning of all of this is "Gavin wants to make more memory with you whether is a pure love or a 'red' love"

Note:

Finally done for part two, this part two is a little bit tricky for me the detail not easy to find like Lucien and Victor.

I was disappointed in myself because I can't find any story for Gavin and Kiro.

I'm sorry if I apologized too much in this writings because I didn't know Kiro and Gavin that well, especially in season two. I fell blind. I do not dislike them I like Kiro I like Gavin, but I still do not understand them as well as I was understood, Victor or Lucien. Part 3 will talk about Shaw and all the puzzles that I find.

The Conclusions:

Kiro is about His loyalty and his love that always increases like a ballons in the sky Gavin wants to make more memory with you whether is pure love or a 'red' love
