a/n: um, so…i just wrote this in thirty minutes, give or take. it’s a bit of dialogue that i’ve been kind of toying with in my head for a few days, and here i am, at one in the fucking morning, writing this. i’m sorry in advance. (also for context, none of the season three hopper death shit happened.) i love you all. <3333

When you don’t show for dinner, Joyce knows exactly where you are.

There’s no guesswork, or calling around. She knows.

She knows because she’s been where you are. And she knows you shouldn’t be alone.

She remembers when Hopper had come and sat on the floor in front of her without a word. It had settled something inside of her, that small gesture. Sure, it hadn’t soothed the ache—nothing could do that, nothing but time—yet it had helped. It felt like a breath of fresh air.

Joyce parks the car, and makes her way to where she stood all those months ago as they lowered him into the ground.

You’d been silent then. She wasn’t sure you were breathing, really. And when they’d finished, when the funeral was over, you’d just stood there. And she’d waited until you made your way to the car, and she took you home. Anything for her baby.

The grass is chilly under your palms, where you’re desperately ripping the blades up and flinging them to the sides. There might be two sparse patches left by the time you’re finished, but that’s okay. It’ll grow back.

Your face is wet. You gave up on wiping it dry long ago.

When you hear footsteps behind you, you don’t even have to turn because you know exactly who it is. Who’s come for you.

You start to cry again, but this time it’s worse. This time you’re sobbing.

Joyce sits down beside you, settling on her knees.

You look up at her, but you can’t really see her because your eyes are filling with tears and blurring your vision.

“Oh, baby,” Joyce says. She runs her hand over your leg.

You cry out. You’re practically wailing. It hurts, you’ve noticed. It’s like an ache, and it won’t leave. It stays.

You look away from her and at his headstone. William Hargrove, it reads.

That’s all he is now, a plot. A marker. A memory.

“Mama.” Joyce never takes her eyes off of you. Seeing you like this fills her with an immense grief, and she wants nothing more than to make it all go away. To fix it. To kiss it better.

“Mama, I miss him.”

A sob wrenches free from your throat, and you’re wiping desperately at your face again because now she’s here and she can see you at your weakest. But it’s no use, so you let it come.

“My baby,” you cry.

Images of Billy flash through your mind: sitting with him in the staff room while it rained one day at the pool and no one could swim, helping him get a tangle out of his hair, kissing him on the cheeks just to see him blush.

He’s gone. He’s never coming back. Your Billy is dead.

“Mama, please.”

You don’t know why you’re begging, but you are. And you keep begging, like it’s going to fix something. It’s not.

Please what? Please bring my boyfriend back. Please undo what happened that night. Please let him be safe. Please.

Joyce wraps her arms around your shoulders and you cling to her like you’re afraid she’ll disappear too. Like she’ll be in the ground and you’ll be sitting and crying out for her just as you are now.

You’re not sure how long you cry for, but she lets you for as long as you need.

And when you’re done, you go home and lay in bed. You slip on one of his shirts, and you think about him.

You cry some more, and try to remember something Hopper told you after he’d taken you out of the mall that night.

“That feeling never goes away. But everyday it does get a little easier.”

You hope he’s right.

then they go straight into a montage of zak brown and lando's history together going way back ("first time i met lando, he was a small 14 year old ... he was very shy, as you'd expect a 14 year old... he was very fast.") cutting between old photos of them together pre-f1 with emotional music ("i think the first time he drove a racecar it was probably mine") oh! okay then!!

why does watching this episode make me feel like he's going to leave mclaren when i KNOW he just signed a contract extension? the magic of mood-setting background music and splicing clips together

zak brown meeting with all the sponsors... he is a stronger man than me. i would be freaking out in his position. it's also insane how much is riding on literal sports results from a corporation/business perspective? like the amount of pressure on f1 drivers to deliver is wild and here we are giggling at our silly clown sport and its silly circus events

Okay, question on Logan and different interpretations on his trap for Halloran (I truly love hearing what other fans think and am not asking to be like "no logan is faultless leave my boy alone I will tell you you're wrong if you disagree").

I keep seeing people say Logan didn't give Halloran (or anyone) a chance to win their traps...and I either misunderstood the scene or would love to hear another fan's interpretation on this so I understand this specific part of Logan people hate.

I can see the argument there was probably no choice for the offscreen tests (although are we really going to say the other "players" in Logan's trap weren't in the same boat as a lot of the people in William Easton's trap? I kind of assumed it was an homage to that kind of trap), but I also thought Logan did give Halloran a chance/choice, beyond the choices he could make during the other players traps when he could have spoken out and realized they were all connected to his previous cases?

After the laser part of the trap instructions were read, Logan specifically added to them and said outloud "let's neither of us push a button". Halloran said they were both screwed and made like he would push his button first, but instead pushed Logan's button-showing corruption and selfishness, which was what got him into this trap in the first place. Afterwards, when Halloran said "have mercy", Logan said something like (paraphrasing) "like you just had mercy on me? pushing my button and saving yourself?"

I thought that showed Logan was giving Halloran one last chance with the buttons to either take responsibility for his corrupt cop behaviors by admitting them/admitting he was wrong (which was his test basically) or to at least show he could be merciful/do the right thing and be worth saving/rehabilitating. Like he could have technically shown to Logan that he could make a decent enough choice which could allow for him to survive (although idk what would have happened for him after).

Logan also didn't have the trap go off automatically-which means Logan left the final button push to be manual, meaning there was a way Halloran could have survived. Small chance, because Logan was definitely looking for justice (vengance) and (similar to something John said to Hoffman in the Strahm movie) predicted what Halloran would do, but still technically a chance in a Jigsaw apprentices' interpretation. And I do think Logan would have begrudgingly followed what he knew to be John's principals and let Halloran survive if he beat the test, however impossibly high the standard for survival was.

Final small interpretation I found was in that while I get the criticism about Logan as a charater, Matt Passmore is different. He's a pretty talented actor and I see it in that scene especially. His face is very interesting to watch in the transition between Logan saying "hey don't push the button", Halloran saying they were fucked anyway, and just before the button push. He is actively watching Halloran's actions and gives very small indicators to what Logan is thinking-an almost resolute "i was right but i'm still a little disappointed he's a piece of shit through and through".

I know I'm a little biased: to be honest I like Jigsaw and Logan because of his line at the end where he said he was there to speak for the people who were victims of corrupt cops-to protect people who were hurt by those bad people, whether the system that protected the perpretator or the perpetrator themselves. As someone who had a bad, traumatic thing happen to me when I was younger, it spoke to me and was a concept that connected me to the movie.

I get that there is a lot of logan/jigsaw hate in the fandom, but I don't get the hate for this specific thing I see pointed to as a reason to hate Logan a lot: Anyone care to share their thoughts or interpretations so I can broaden my understanding of what people think/feel? I truly am curious to understand (and just also like talking interpretations with people! :) )

My thoughts on Watching and Dreaming

I watched the episode when it premeired last night but i hit post limit so couldnt post about it. Spoilers under the cut. sorry if anything is out of order lol im sick and im just throwing everything i thought last night down on this post.

-Luz being attacked by Amity genuinely made me cry

-"My girlfriend is too big a nerd to misremember an Azura quote" -luz probably

-Lilith having the haircut from For the Future but color scheme from season 1 is a nice touch

-"Dont you recognize your siblings" Ok damn man didnt need to go THAT far

-The giant stone Flapjack in Luz's nightmare killed me and not in the good funny way but in the sad crying way

-in the words of @minty-creator "BELOS FUCKETH OFF" (We were both watching the ep and screaming to each other about it)

-at first I thought belos was gonna try and possess king but then I realized no he's going to possess the fucking boiling isles titan

-I actually kinda liked that The Collector had no concept of death. They're a kid, an IMMORTAL GODLY KID. Of course they wouldnt know what death is

-Pacman Collector will haunt my nightmares

-The Collector needs a hug. I want to give them a hug.

The game does indeed take place “later that night” after Charlie’s murder. However, I always wondered where the flying fuck was Henry when his daughter was left “alone” at the pizzeria to die? Sure, the Security Puppet was watching the children, the staff was probably not giving two shits but supposed to be watching the children...

But if we play as Henry, perhaps something upset him. Maybe his wife was thinking of leaving him? (Or perhaps, any friendship with William was starting to unravel). So, he goes to get drunk, cuz why not? Drives home.

We see maybe a very annoyed Mrs. Emily. The girl’s room is empty because Charlotte is at the pizzeria. God damn I’m rusty getting FNAF 4 confused with MM. I’m tired, yall. Don’t write theories past midnight! [A lot of people suspect this is the same house in FNAF 4 but never bring up the girl’s room anyway... Heck, if the paralells are to be believed in FF books, Elizabeth got sent away / ran away from home...] But STILL, I think it would be interesting to consider. (Yeah, I know this seems odd; why wouldn’t anyone be asking about her? But I’ll pose this stretch nonetheless. You COULD argue Henry just found out she was murdered a few hours prior--this explains how the other child (who I’m positing as Sammy) is “having a bad night” and the wife seems nonchalant because she’s in shock.

Sammy probably loved to run off to the restaraunt as much as any kid whose dad worked at the pizzeria would. This would explain why the child wants to go (as one thing with BV is that he is scared of the animatronics always bothered me; he has no reason to want to run off, except from an abusive father).

Yeah, we have to use Novel Trilogy lore, I’m sorry. And yeah, it differs from the book a bit, even.

But whose to say William, with either the Glitchtrap suit (the rain and the Springlocks still bothers me) lead Sammy away? Sammy would be familiar with Spring Bonnie (or Glitchtrap--I’m adamant this is an old suit William made as a prototype at one point) and probably go pretty willingly.

Anyway, my point is... In the novels, the wife takes Sammy and leaves (presumably). But in the games, maybe she didn’t get the chance. Maybe William killed Sammy, too. I can see people not harping on Henry for bringing him up later in 6 if this was the case--perhaps they weren’t as close for some reason. There really isn’t that good of an explanation except that Charlotte was murdered first and therefore hurt a little more. Can you imagine finding out your daughter died, probably getting grilled in a police station for hours, only to go home and have to face your family that was already falling apart? :o (And I believe I said in my original post how I couldn’t believe Henry would be... well, as angry as Mustard Man, but... Well, he is far from the saint we all make him out to be! I didn’t really realize that, then... Also, someone who grew up with an alcoholic father and has seen their best friend’s life fucked up by an alcoholic stepfather... yeah, they can be nasty people when they drink.)

Lastly, I think it makes Henry’s appearance in FNAF 6 more striking as it would be foreshadowed here.

Random Stuff for that NightGuard Denki Au I sometimes think about.

Im giving this lore so I can get it out if my systum

-I HC that mha happens about 100 year in the future from it was released. So 2113. If quirks appearred in 1913. Fnaf 1 took place in 1993 so make it a year earlier 1992. Im making it so that Denki was born way before canon, around 1977 give or take, so ge can be 15 when he starts working at Freddys

-since its about 100 years before canon, quirks are still super rare to the point that him having an electricity quirk is either unique or down right unheard of in Utha and it would be something people look for, to the point of ignoreing child labor laws. Landing Denki the job.

-I probably explained it in another post but to rehash it, Denki need money to pay for his aunts summer rent or else hes neing sent back to Japan where he will be grounded for forgeting to save up money. Make sense? Cool lets continue.

-Denki is givin the job for the summer, or the 6 weeks hes going to be there. His personal goal? Getting put onto the day shift. He dose not really feel like ruining his sleep the whole summer, so hes determend to get switched to the day shift and not get fired.

-I cant totally see some weird William worshiping going on in the company. Cause theres no way he could have gotten away wity so much shit and no one in the company knowing. He just has a little cult following working to keep everything under the rug for him. They are also very creepy, thank you for noticing

-His schegual gets wrecked so he spends his nights exploring the city on a skatebored and hanging out at empty parking lots

-he meets Michael, the son of one of the founders by chance when he was standing at a 7/11 at 3a.m on a sunday. He was gettung a slurpy in his work uniforme cause he noticed it gets him discounts and Michael notices, they chat for a bit and screw around a bit in a parking lot

-Michaels age is fucked so here my take. 1983, the bit happens, Mike is a crappy teen so lets pit him at 16. Years later, in 1992 hes a 25 year old guy hanging parking lot wity a kid thats around the age his brother should be.

-The Ghosts fuck with Denki hard! Or at least some of them do, its kinda a toss up. You see the ghosts recognise that hes a teenager (kid) and not an adult and that changes a few things. For some, its positive, since they had older siblings and/or trust the big kids enough to protect them, so they leave denki alone. Others, had older siblings. Thats all the explination I need, they attack him purely out of spite.

-Denki figures out pretty quickly that the robots are posseded, and he uses this to his advantage using things he liked as a kid to get on their good side, since technically they are the same age.

-He asked Michael for help, who wants nothing to do with Freedys, but gives in and help out realizing, whole crap this place is actually haunted. This sends him on a rabbit hole of trying to figure out what happend with his dad and sister. Cue Fnaf Sister location happeing on Denkis last week.

-Also, everyone thinks hes somr sort of lunitic for working at Freedys cause of all the rumors but he dose not and can not care. He needa money.

-I see Denki either, surviving multiple summers at Freedy until he gets killed and stuffed into a suit or dying on his 6th week and getting dragged into Mikes and Williams beef as another casualty.

-I can see Mike setting Denkis soul free and Denki just being like "nuh uh" and continues hunting Michale. Maybe trough a small animatronic or a plushie, and Mike feeling guilty decides, "ok fine, you live with me. Now help me plan on how Im gonna kill my dad"

-Denki in his undead prime, somehow ends up surviving till the MHA present day with a few other ghosts Like Michael and maybe one of the animatronuc kids and them with their animatronic knowlege and future tech get themselves pretty realistic looking bodys.

-Denki spends a few years enjoying life and decides that being a hero sounds fun, so he moves to Japan to try it out.

-the ghost kid find old cc tv footage of Denkis time as nightguard and post a compilation video online and it goes viral.

-UA kids and others regognize Denki in the videos and hes left in an awkwerd position of trying to decide to play it of or explain that hes actually a dead 15 year old that died more than 100 years ago

Ellie always thought you were the prettiest girl she’s ever seen in her life, you had the most beautiful eyes, the way they would always get lighter in the sun and the way they would always light up whenever you were happy about something. She loved how you would always put your hair into a braid and would still have strands of hair fall in front your eyes, you’d always put them behind your ears only for them to get loose again and fall in front of your eyes once more. She loved how fierce and badass you are, always ready for any situation. You are one of the best fighters in Jackson despite your age. Having seen it herself when you patrolled together, you fought skillfully, making Ellie wonder about where you have learned to fight like that. Anytime something went wrong or someone would say something about hunters or a horde of infected coming Jackson’s way, you’d always be first to volunteer to go and get rid of them. The way you held yourself, Ellie was sure that you could actually get rid of a group of people before they’d even make it to the gates of Jackson. She would never underestimate you. You really were a fascinating person.

She’d also jokingly flirt with you or make dirty jokes, leaving you uncomfortable or at least that’s what Ellie thought. She just loved getting on your nerves.

Dina would always try to convince Ellie that you actually liked her and you just had a funny way of showing that. Ellie would laugh at that every time, she knew you had some sort of resentment towards her for whatever reason.

You wanted to be friends with the girl you really did but something about her annoyed the hell out of you and she made you feel weird. You constantly bickered like little kids and you seemed to have a stand off every time you were patrolling together. She just pissed you off.

“You going to the dance tonight kid?” Joel asked you. Right now you were cleaning the rifles and shotguns in the shed you kept them in. Having injured your shoulder while on patrol a few days ago you were off patrol for a few weeks. So you were assigned for keeping the weapons clean. You were annoyed at that, you had worse injuries before and still fought but Maria wouldn’t let you out, not wanting to risk your health. So here you were boring yourself to death, at least Joel came in to keep you company.

“Umm I don’t know, it’s not really my thing.” You said. Laying the rifle on the table you looked at the older man. Since he and Ellie came to Jackson he became something like a mentor to you. You respected the older man, you already learned more from him than your own father and he was there for you whenever you struggled with yourself.

“That’s what Ellie said too.” You avoided looking at him at the mention of Ellie. You thought, he assumed that you two must be friends, considering you’re in the same friend group. You didn’t even know they were talking again.

“She did?” You asked avoiding his eyes.

“Yes.” He studied your face. He was not stupid, anytime he’d bring up Ellie you got quiet and awkward same with Ellie she reacted the same way at the mention of you.

“Are you going?” You asked him, changing the topic quickly.

“Yeah and you should come too.” He said.

“We’ll see, do I get to have a drink?” You asked, giving him a hopeful smile. He never let you drink.

“Are you 21?” He asked giving you a pointed look.

“Ugh come on Joel, I’m 19 plus I’m allowed to blow up things and kill people and infected but I’m not allowed to have a drink every once in a while?” You said shaking your head.

Joel laughed at that “well maybe you can have a little.” He said.

“Finally, I wanna get drunk.”

“You’re allowed to drink but you’re not allowed to get drunk kid.” Joel said sternly.

“I’ll take what I can get.” Smiling at him. He got up and walked towards you, ruffling your hair.

“I gotta get going, I’ll see you at the dance.”

“Ugh, see ya.” You said annoyed at him for messing up your braid.

Stepping out of the little shed once you were done with your assignment you stood there enjoying the fresh air for a second after being in that shed all day.

Deep in thought you were looking down on your way home, not watching where you were going you ran into something or rather someone, almost falling down if it wasn’t the strong arms catching you by your waist, grabbing their arms you looked up at your savior only to realize that it’s Ellie still with her hands on your waist she had a cocky smirk on her face.

“Careful there (y/n), you almost fell for me.” Smirking at you.

You groaned at that, letting go of her arms you took a step back making her hands let go of your waist.

“Do you want me to escort you home? I don’t want you tripping and falling for someone else.” She said, teasing you

“No thanks Williams, now if you’ll excuse me.” You said, trying to walk past her only for her to step in front of you not letting you go yet, probably to annoy you some more.

“You going to the dance tonight?” Ellie asked. Studying your face.

“Yup.” You replied, looking down on your shoes, avoiding looking at her pretty face.

“Nice, I’ll be there as well.” Ellie said.

“I know, Joel told me.” Shit why did you just say that, you wanted to slap yourself now she knew you and Joel talked about her. Now she would think you’re interested in her, well you are but she doesn’t have to know that.

“Oh, talking about me with Joel when you could talk to me?” She teased.

“Whatever I’m gonna go now, see ya Williams.” You said, this time she stepped aside, letting you leave.

She watched you leave, deep in thought about you she didn’t notice Jesse appearing next to her, throwing an arm around her.

“Man you have it bad for our girl here.” Jesse said, smirking at her. He was aware of Ellie having some sort of feelings for you. It wasn’t hard to see that, Ellie always looked like a kicked puppy around you.

“Shut up, Jesse” Ellie said annoyed.

“She likes you too.”

“What?! No she doesn’t. I’m pretty sure she hates me.” Ellie said, looking down, she began walking away.

Jesse followed her. “She doesn’t hate you, I’ve seen how she acts around people she hates and you aren’t one of them.” He said.

“Well I- so what she likes me now?” She asked. Not believing that you could feel anything towards her but hate.

“She likes Dina and Joel or Tommy and Maria, I’m pretty sure she likes me too, I’m awesome.” Jesse smirked at the last part. “But you? I’d say there’s a little more than “like” Ellie.”

“Are you trying to tell me she has feelings for me?” Ellie laughed at that. Jesse was ridiculous and stupid if he thought you could have feelings for Ellie. Not that she didn’t wish for that but it was too good to be true.

Ellie laughed at that, “alright whatever.” She thought about that. She genuinely couldn’t see you liking her.

It was a little crowded at the dance once you got there. You usually avoided going to these things, not liking being around many people but Dina always made you come. Looking at you with her puppy eyes, you couldn’t say no to the girl.

Looking out for Dina and Jesse you weren’t able to find them. Huh she bugged you about being there on time but she herself wasn’t even here yet. Looking around you saw Ellie standing at the bar. You stared at her for a while.

She waved at you to come over. You’d rather have Dina and Jesse be there as well, not trusting yourself to be around the girl without anyone around but you didn’t wanted to be alone so you walked over to her.

Coming back she gave you the drink. Taking it from her hand your fingers touched for a second, avoiding her eyes you took a sip of the drink. Almost coughing at the taste, Ellie laughed at you.

“You never had whiskey did you?” She asked.

Shaking your head “you?” You asked curiously.

“Yeah.” Nodding at her words, you looked around.

Sitting in silence for a while, you watched all the couples dance. Feeling Ellie’s eyes on you the whole time. You glanced at her, noticing that her glass is empty, you figured it’d be a good opportunity to get away from her for a second.

“Should I get you a new one?” You asked her. “A drink I mean.”

“Uh sure.” She gave you her glass, you walked towards the bartender guy. Ellie had a chance to admire you from the side.

Waiting for the bartender to bring you your drinks, you saw someone heading your way from the side, turning to look who it was you saw it was Joel.

“Hey kid.” He pulled you in for a hug. He always gave the best hugs, they were always warm and safe.

“Hi Joel.” Smiling at him.

“I see you and Ellie are alone tonight.” He looked towards Ellie, who was taking a seat at one of the smaller tables, waiting for you.

“I- yeah. We are waiting for Dina and Jesse.”

“I’m afraid they’re not coming tonight. Haven’t they told you?” He asked.

“What? But I- they told us they’d be here.” You said confused. Why would they tell you come here if they weren’t even here.

“I talked to Jesse today, he said him and Dina are having a date tonight.” Joel said.

“Oh well, I didn’t know.” You laughed. Great now you it was just you and Ellie.

The bartender brought you your drinks, putting them in front of you hitting you with the smell of whiskey, you gave Joel a cheeky smile.

He put a hand on your shoulder, “drink responsibly kid, and take care of Ellie.” He said.

“Yes of course, I promise.”

“Alright, well go on and have fun.”

“Alright you too Joel, I’ll see you.” You smiled at him taking the drinks in both hands you walked over to Ellie. Setting them down on the table you sat down next to Ellie.

“Well it seems like our friends have ditched us.” You said annoyed.

“What?” Ellie furrowed her eyebrows at that.

“Yeah Joel said they have a date night.”

“Great.” Ellie suddenly felt nervous. Being alone with you would surely end bad, she was scared that she’d accidentally confess her stupid crush on you or something.

“I know we’re not friends or whatever but I feel like getting a few drinks, what about you?” You asked. Ellie hated that you didn’t even see her as a friend but you usually avoided her like the plague and you’d never ask her to hang out with you, a year ago you’d just leave if none of your friends were here but Ellie guessed you must’ve warmed up to her a little if you asked her to keep you company.

“Yeah sure.”

Throughout the whole night you and Ellie bickered about every little thing, sarcastically replying to everything the other would say. You definitely wouldn’t be friends anytime soon but you two did kind of enjoy this night.

You were currently walking home side by side. Having a discussion about weapons. Arriving in front of your home, you talked for a few more minutes, fighting on which weapon is the better choice, in any situation.

“Alright, whatever Williams you’re right, I’m wrong.” You said, rolling your eyes at the girl. Walking backwards to your door.

“You know I’m right (y/n)!” Ellie said teasing you.

“Go home Williams!”

“Yes ma’am.” Ellie grumbled, turning around she started to walk back home.

Ellie thought about this night. It was the first time you willingly spent time alone with her. She enjoyed it even if you were still your usual sarcastic self, she still enjoyed it. Hoping to see more of you, without having the rest of your friends around. She liked to be alone with you, not that she would admit it to anyone.

Reflection ( Triple Frontier X On the Road crossover) Ch1

Summary: Finally at last i finished the first part of the story. was supposed to be a single story. Thought there should be more. Thanks goes to @artemiseamoon to inspire me to watch On the Road. Also reading her fic. First part of the story deals with Dean wondering to a bar to keep warm . instead he meets a family member . His brother.

Dean is beside himself. Sal doesn't want to see him. In his mind he is all alone. No longer married. Haven't seen his daughters. As for family? Not wanting to think about that now. Sure his brother William said he would be there for him. Where was he? Oh yes. In the Army. Haven't heard from him since he retired. Walking around the town, and get warm.suddenly he hears music playing . Nothing he hasn't heard before. Good beat,and yet soothing. Going inside to see a familiar face at the bar. William is older, but still looks the same.  Blue eyes,and blonde hair.  Only thing different is a tattoo on his left arm. Sitting on a barstool . Clearing his throat, " Fancin seeing you here. Thought you be back in California. " Turning around, " why would I do that? Wanna be like you? Using people ? Not knowing you have people that love you. Have news for you.  I'm willing to help your sorry ass. Yeah I know all about it.�� Sal has been my regular customer. " leaning against the counter. Practically in his brother's face," what did he say? I wanna know!" 

Will just had enough of his mouth. Tugging on Dean's arm. He looks at his other friend, " Mind the bar Frankie.  Need to talk to my brother. " Frankie nods, You got it man. Good luck with that." The waitress comes over to the bar. Looking at the direction Will went. Taking a breath, " Nothing to worry about Lizzy, by the looks of things? Things might get a wee bit hairy." 

Frankie was right. Things got hairy. Will reached upstairs to his apartment.  One of four. After pushing Dean inside the apartment.  Will slammed the door," Sit your ass down, and listen to me! I'm not gonna tell you nada till you explain something to me! Why would you leave Camille and your daughters?! They love you dammit! " Dean got up from the couch," Had my reasons! Wanna find our dad! Okay! Guess ya never thought about him! All you could think about is defending our country more than your family!" Rubbing his face.  Pacing around.  Will calms down, " let's get one thing straight.  I needed to leave. Need to make a new life for myself.  Thought you would join me,but noooo…  you want to be a bum! Answer to your question about finding dad? Check the graveyard. Yeah, he died in prison for the very thing you were doing with that 16 year old.  " 

Dean was in shock. No wonder no one ever told him the truth. Chest heaving," shit! For years of looking! All I could have done was to look you up. As for my mistakes.  Don't know if she wants to see me. " Will sit down on the other side of the couch. Looking at his brother, " never hurts to call her. Tell her how you feel.  Might take pity on your soul." Dean nods," I'll do that now. Not till you tell me what Sal said." 

That's something Will doesn't want to tell him. Doesn't want him to know who Sal has been seeing. Actually gonna marry.Marylou. She didn't marry the sailor. Her heart belonged to Sal. Taking a breath, " Sal felt alone. He needed you when he was sick. Then it dawned on  him that it was time to start over. Clean slate. Ment meeting new people. Ment letting go of how I can say this without hurting you. " Dean finally got the picture. Sal doesn't want to be around him anymore.  Taking a breath, " I'm gonna call Camille.  Can ya give me some privacy?" 

Meanwhile downstairs the bar comes to life again. The band played lively music. People dancing around enjoying themselves.  Lots of dancing and hollering.  Will comes downstairs to see his friend,  Santiago playing guitar. Singing songs he has written himself.  Lizzy leans against the counter next to Will," how did it go upstairs? Did you accomplish anything? " looking at her with loving eyes. Hugging her to his side," Told him about my father, and what Sal told me. Actually not the real reason why he doesn't want to see Dean. Want him to see from a different pair of eyes. Thinking about giving him a job here and a place to stay.  He could stay in the vacant room." Kissing his cheek as she goes to take more orders to the customers, " You are a good man Willam Moriarty. Glad I married you. " 

The call to Camille didn't end the way he wanted. She still wants to see him. Only if he cleans up. Have a steady job.  To him it would be a hard thing to do.  If he wants to see the babies ,and her again? He would do anything.  Heard noise downstairs. Same kind of music that was playing earlier. Venturing downstairs to see what was happening.  Sitting on the step watching everyone having a good time.  Especially a vision on the floor.  Dancing in a way he had never seen before.  So expressive. Her movements tell a story. 

" You must be Dean. " looking up to see an older man with dark hair with wavy hair. Sitting next to him, " I'm Frankie by the way.  Served with your brother.  One playing the guitar  is Santiago.  Ladies love him. A chick magnet. Will told me you are working here. There are some rules you need to know.  No weed here. Even in the apartment.  No prostitution. We are doing this for you. Want you to sober up." Dean sighs," Thanks. Wanna ask you somethin. Who is that girl near Santiago?" Frankie nods in that direction, " someone you shouldn't be around.  That's his baby sister. Nona. She is a firecracker. My advice? Stay away from her.  If you want to accomplish your goal. " 

Dean watches her move around the room.  Way she sways to the beat is like he does. More he watched, the more turned on he got. Sadly , the music ends. Lucky for him since she went outside to get some air. Naturally he followed her out. The boys and Lizzy see him leave. Knowing what might happen next. 

Nona closed her eyes.  Relishing in the cool, night air. Felt good on her skin. Wrapping her coat around body. Looking up at the starry sky. So clear. Didn't know someone next to her. Looking down to see Dean. Rolls her eyes," Do you mind? Standing too close to me. If you want to get warm with me? Not gonna get that from me! Got that blondie?" Dean was taken back to her sass. How can someone so amazing to him come off like that to a mere stranger. Thought he would charm her. Get her story out of her. Looking at her. Not before looking up at the sky," Look doll, I'm not gonna do what you were sayin. Just wanna talk. Gonna be nice to me?" Looking at him with a glare that would scare anyone," Well, I don't want to chit chat with you.  Don't know you. Do I want to? No! " 

Dean's anger is about to come about. All he wanted was to chat with her. That's all. Went to pull her arm so he could look at her,"  Just wanna say you have nice moves on the floor. Something about the moves moves people, even me. Maybe we could .. you know.. dance together.  Show off our moves?" Nona smiles as she walks away from him," no fucking way! I dance alone!" Dean moans as he follows her inside to a nearly empty place.  Will and Frankie cleans the bar. Santi chats it up with his band mates.  Having that certain look in her eyes that signals Santi that she is in need of his guidance.  The others left to give them some privacy.  Leans her head on his shoulder, " Care to tell me what's wrong? I know the way you walked in just now. Does it have to do with that dude who went outside after you?" Very perspective Santi is.  His army training did some good.  Nona nods," yeah, the way he looked at me creeped me out some. Something is off ." Santi sighs," if it would help. I'll go and see who he is. So sit tight." 

Santi goes over to the bar. Eyes William and Lizzy chatting.  Cleared his throat, " Anyone of you know who was that strange looking dude going outside after Nona? She is kind of freaked out. " Both of them shakes their heads,  till Frankie bursts in after placing a tub of dirty glasses on the bar," That would be Dean. Ironhead's younger,and messed up brother. If I were you man?Keep a good eye on her. Since he is now living and working here. " Santi moans," Really?Are we now running a treatment center for the down and out? If that's the case? I'm bailing." William grunts as he slams his hands on the counter," I'm not doing that Pope! He is my brother! Want to help him! Shit! He has two beautiful girls that need their father! Want to sober him up. Maybe just maybe Camille would let him see them. Also to amend our relationship.  " Both Frankie and Santiago hugged him. Santiago goes upstairs, " I understand.  Sorry for what I said before.  Just want to protect Nona. " 

Shortly after Santiago goes upstairs.  Two other figures enter the bar. Sal and his soon to be Marylou.

Part 2

Request: Yes or No

I'm not afraid of this series not becoming as well loved as Green Thumb and I don't expect it to be popular. I've had the idea stuck in my head for a while and I'm getting it all out.

You looked over the artifacts the school had stored. You gave a small scoff, shaking your head as you noticed things that didn’t belong in a school.

“They call us thieves and hoarders yet half this shit was stolen off a corpse.” You muttered, stopping in front of a glass case protecting a sword.

“I wouldn’t suggest stealing that. It’ll be obvious.” You turned towards the redhead, sighing and tilting your head as she walked towards you.

“You’re a pain in the ass.” You looked back at the sword, eyes raking over it. 

“You know what this is?” You asked. Hope stood beside you, looking down at the sword. She shook her head, pursing her lips slightly.

“A man named Lord Jameson Wraith owned this sword. He was… a hunter of sorts and specialized in killing dragons. When he stabbed this through the chest of a dragon, the sword would light up and the dragon would burn from the inside. A gruesome, slow death. We were hunted like all others but it wasn’t just to protect humans. We were hunted for our meat, our teeth, and our scales. Humans declared war on us and when we fought back, we were erased from everyone's minds and deemed fairy tales where we continue to be killed by a so-called knight.” You explained, running your finger over the glass. 

“Some dragons were able to survive Malivore but as soon as they shifted… They were taken. They disappeared and left no trace.” You turned to look at Hope. The redhead stayed silent, a frown etched on her face.

“I’m sorry you lost your father. We’re working on finding Malivore and when we do, there’s a chance you’ll be able to see your father again.” Hope said softly, gaze still trained on the sword. 

“Where’s your mother? Alaric mentioned she was a vampire.”

“I was never able to meet her but.. I believe she’s dead.” You walked around the case, looking back up at Hope. You locked eyes with her, hearing her clear her throat.

“I’m sure she would’ve wanted to be in your life.” Hope offered a small smile, nails gently tapping against the case. 

“Are you being nice to me cause you need to find out more about me?” You asked, head tilting. Hope cocked a brow, eyes rolling as she turned away from you.

“Alaric really doesn’t trust me, does he?”

“He trusts you more than I do, that’s for sure. It’s just too much of a coincidence for you, a dragon, to show up when we’re dealing with monster after monster. If it weren’t for Alaric, I would’ve already done a spell on you.” Hope said as she walked around the room, features hard and serious. 

“A little witch spell wouldn’t work on me. You haven’t been trained to deal with dragons. If I was really one of those monsters, why didn’t I burn the building down and search for whatever it is that you have?” You asked curiously. Hope didn’t answer, thinking for a moment.

“Because you’d need to know if it was hidden.”

“Alaric asked if I felt a pull to this place. I suppose that means I would feel a pull towards the artifact, right?” You slowly walked towards her, a soft chuckle leaving you.

“You can kick and scream all you want, Red. I’m here to stay, whether you like it or not.” You reached out, twirling a strand of her red hair around your finger. Hope grabbed your wrist, pushing your hand away.

“You’re up to something and I’m gonna figure out what it is.” Hope sneered, eyes narrowed. She turned around, walking towards the doors. She almost bumped into a man on her way out, quietly apologizing before moving past him. The man entered the room, clasping his hands together. 

“I’m Dorian Williams, the liberian and occasional substitute teacher.” Dorian introduced himself, finding a table and taking a seat. He motioned for you to sit across from him. You did so, taking a seat and crossing your arms as you eyed him.

“I’m gonna be honest with you, (Y/N). I do have some suspicions that you might be after the artifact but.. You’re a kid. A kid who lost their father and wants answers. I’m not here to interrogate you about your intentions.” Dorian explained, leaning back in his seat with his arms crossed. 

“Do the other students know what I am?” 

“News spread like wildfire here, especially amongst the students so.. Yes, most likely. I can assure you that you’ll be treated like any other student-”

“So, Hope goes around telling every student she’s gonna figure out what they’re up to? No wonder she’s not popular.” Dorian let out a small laugh, shaking his head.

“I promise Hope isn’t always like that. The monster problem we’ve been having has everyone on edge. Do.. Do you know anything about Malivore?” Dorian asked, sitting up and leaning forward. 

“I thought you weren’t gonna interrogate me.” You tilted your head, brow cocked. Dorian hummed softly, nodding. 

“Alright, we can talk about something else. The neck is a dragon's soft spot, right?”

“Depends.” You answered, licking your lips as you reached up to touch your necklace. 

“If a dragon is older and stronger, a hit to the neck isn’t gonna hurt them much. It might piss them off and they could lose their ability to speak or even stop them from breathing fire cause it’ll hurt to do so. We can still kill someone by stepping on them or snacking on them. We were on the top of the fucking food chain and humans just couldn’t deal with that.” 

“I’m not your enemy, (Y/N). I want to believe I can trust you. You’re a child and like all children, you need guidance. I see a lot of rage built up inside you. I can tell from the way you interacted with Hope and from what I heard. Landon and Rafael aren’t your enemies. They’re new and they have a rough past. The first dragon they met wanted to burn them into a pile of ashes so.. I’d say they’re being pretty welcoming.” Dorian held a soft yet stern gaze. It was obvious that he sympathized with you but at the same time, he wasn’t gonna deal with an attitude.

“Tell me about your father. What was he like?” Dorian asked softly. Your gaze dropped to the table, fingers squeezing around the key. 

“I’d appreciate it if everyone could stop talking about him as if he’s dead.” You breathed out, standing up abruptly as your eyes began to sting from tears.

“I don’t need to be welcomed into this school. I’ve been to high school before, I’m not some little kid whose hand needs to be held.” You walked out of the room, heading back to your dorm room. You entered the dorm, shutting the door behind you. You sniffled softly, walking towards the window and opening it. You stepped out, taking a seat on the roof. You brought your knees up to your chest, feeling the wind gently hitting your face. 

“The key to food is passion, remember that (Y/N).”

“I thought it was seasoning.” You grinned as you watched your father cook. He hummed, nodding with a chuckle.

“It is but food from a chef who feels no passion for it will taste bland and bitter. It’s the same with any other job. If you hate it, it’ll show and you’ll only hurt yourself. That’s why I always tell you to look for things you’re interested in.” (F/N) said, handing you a wooden spoon so you could help with stirring the soup.

“What was mom passionate about?”

“Your mother was.. She was a hurricane.” He began, sighing deeply. “She destroyed everything in her path and took down anyone in her way. Not many people have fond memories of her but I saw the good in her. I didn’t love her romantically but I considered her a good friend of mine. I’ll always be grateful to her for giving me the best gift a man could ever have.” You smiled widely, chuckling softly and rolling your eyes. (F/N) smiled softly, leaning over and pressing a kiss to your temple.

“No treasure could ever compare to you.” 

You bit your bottom lip, letting out a shaky sigh. You weren't used to being alone. Your father had always been there to back you up, to support you, and to provide comfort when you needed it.

“Christ, pull yourself together. You come from dragons and a psycho vampire.” You mumbled, carefully going back inside. You picked up the phone, turning it on and waiting for it to power on completely. You responded to a text, watching a call pop up. You clicked the green button and held the phone up to your ear.

“I thought you said it was stupid to be in contact.” You took a seat on the bed.

“Yeah, well, I was expecting you to be back by now. You do know your fathers return lies in your hands, right? Only I can help you get him back but I’ll only do that if you give me what I need.”

“I have a plan-”

“Speed up that plan before I change my mind, (Y/N). While you were on your way to the school, I bumped into some of your new friends. They were a redhead and an older man. I believe the girl went by the name Jessica but I doubt it was her real name.” You let out a deep sigh, head tilting upwards. Hope Mikaelson was gonna be a real pain in the ass.

“Yeah, I’ve met the redhead.” You breathed out, dropping your head and pinching the bridge of your nose. 

“I just need you to relax, Ryan. I’ve got it handled but I really don’t need you fucking things up for me. You just keep up your end of the deal and I’ll keep up mine. You might be able to save my father but I can also keep you from helping yours.”

“Is that a threat?”

“It’s a fact. Don’t bother me again unless it’s an emergency.” You pulled the phone away from your ear despite Ryan continuing to talk. You hung up and tossed the phone to the side, burying your face in your hands. 

“Am I paying for my mothers crimes?” You whispered. You flinched when you heard two knocks on the door, standing up and approaching it. You opened the door, staring at Josie.

“What do you want, baby face?” You asked with a frown, looking down at the ice cream tub in her hands. Josie’s brows furrowed at the nickname but she ignored it, choosing to raise the tub. 

“I.. I kind of eavesdropped on you and Dorian and saw you rush out. Ice cream always makes me feel better when I’m feeling down, so I brought you some.” Josie shrugged lightly. You blinked, opening your mouth but nothing came out. 

“If you don’t like ice cream then I could see if-”

“Thanks.” You cut her off, watching her relax and give a small smile. Josie nodded, perking up when you stepped aside so she could enter. Josie looked around the room, humming. 

“If you want, we could go shopping for some decorations tomorrow after school.” Josie said, moving one hand under her skirt as she sat down. You nodded, taking a seat beside her and subtly turning the phone off. Josie opened the lid of the tub, handing you a spoon and giving a small shy smile.

“Well, Welcome to Salvatore School. I’m pretty sure dad is still figuring out your class schedule.” 

“Dad?”

“Oh, uhm, the headmaster is my dad.” Josie shrugged, digging her spoon into the ice cream. Your brows raised, a small smile spreading across your face. 

“Really? You look nothing like him.. Which is a big compliment.” You grinned as Josie let out a soft giggle. Things were definitely starting to look up.

Devil may cry parent headcanons

Dante

He probably is a fun dad but at the same time don't leave your kids with him, it would be a disaster

Will wake up to crying at 12 am and try to put the kid back to sleep, ends up with both of them watching tv instead

This man will do anything with your kid, they want to go to the park, sure he'll have to keep an eye on them. They want to see the movies, sure has to be below pg or he will never hear the end of it from the nightmares his kids have. Want to go to the zoo, sure he just needs to make sure they don't go into the exhibit.

He will play dress up and tea time with them. He will put on a dress and have them do his makeup just so he can go to tea time, and might start some beef with Mr teddy for stealing his cupcakes, but he will do it proudly.

He will try to do their hair in the morning for school, again he is not the best at it and will probably give them crooked pigtails, he's trying he really is.

Can't cook for shit, I'm sorry if you think he could cook please take a look at all the pizza box stored around his shop. Like he will take cooking lessons or watch cooking shows but dear god how do you set fire to milk.

He will always be there for his kid to vent even if he doesn't know how to respond he will sit and let them rant about stuff, also trying to cheer them up because he doesn't want to see them sad

If they brought their homework to him he would be confused he can barely pay his bills i don't think he knows how to do math, but drama he will rock that stuff his acting skills are on point even if it's cheesy

Will waste all his money on the kid, toys, clothes, video games, you name it he will buy it and give to the kid

Remember how I said not to leave your kid alone with Dante yeah, he may or may noteave his weapons/devilarms around for the kids to grab them, like halfway of Dante walking into the main room and he sees ebony in his kids mouth he tricksters all the way to them and quickly grab ebony before anything bad happens, but the kid will start crying and he has to find something for them to mess with or he'll get a headache

He accidently devil triggered in front of his kid now depending on which one he get two responses and he's expecting screaming for both, but if its regular dt like humanish looking one, "woah, dad grew scales and wings, are you a lizard king?" Now its his Sin Dt he would get "Oo, daddys a gaint dragon" for both case they will proceed to touch his scales? And will be all over him trying to climb him to the point he literally has to switch out of dt so they don't get hurt. Also he's a heat source for winter if the heating doesn't get paid for.

If his kid comes out as any of the lgbtq+ he would be supportive and loves them for who they are, I also see him being apart of it too.(I know a few people see him as asexual I do too, as well as bisexual)

Vergil

Look this guy probably has no clue what he's doing, even if we wish he could've taken care of Nero (at least I do) he didn't and now he has another kid to take care

Please help him hold the baby, he can't properly do it at all, he's just holding them by their chest and staring at them with confusion as the child cry, "why won't they stop screaming?"

He will get the hang of taking care of the kid, but please don't leave him alone with them for long he still has no clue what he's doing half the time

"Hey can I hang out with (insert name) at the mall?", "Do I know their mom?", "Uh, no", "Do I know their dad?", "No" Then that settles it, you can't go", "But-", "No buts, if I don't know their parents you can't go, and that's finale"

Can he cook, probably but he's been in hell for most of his life and doesn't know what he's doing half the time. Thank god for cooking shows and book he at least tries a learn how to cook, and doesn't burn anything unlike someone else

He will read the kids William Blake or other bed time stories before bed time, and will do activities where they try to make up poems he has to thank Nero for the idea

Speak of Nero, if Vergil has a mission he will leave his kids with him, he's not trusting Dante at all. Nero absolutely loves his step siblings even if their like a few years younger than him, they will either play with the other kids at the orphanages or play Nero which consist of Video games, sometimes sword fights if they beg long enough, or just talk about the stuff their dad and uncle does that are stupid and make fun of them for it.

Also that one dad to try and help with math homework but makes the kid cry because they don't understand the problem and he's yelling at them "What's 2 x 2?" Its traumatizing please someone tell him to cool it or his kid is going to have problems when it comes to yelling and math, also complains how he didn't learn it that way as a kid, I promise you he was homeschooled.

Now his kids can vent to him but he has no clue what to do nor have much good advice but he will give what he knows even if it's not the best.

This can go many ways, this man know his kid is getting bullied he will go down to the school with the Yamato and threaten someone's life, give his kid the sword for them to deal with it instead, or use some brain cells and deal with it like civil people and we hope he chooses the last one

Now he's a little careful with his devil trigger and doesn't want to scare his kids, but its by accident really and he expects screaming, just like Dante he gets two responses. Regular dt and I'm going off of 4 because I don't think he has one in dmc5, "Dad, why didn't you tell me/us your secretly a bug, don't worry well keep you away from shoes." If its Sin Dt, "Wow, your a dragon this whole time, does this mean I'm also a dragon, where do you keep your stashed gold?", I feel like for his regular dt they will sometimes smack him with a fyswatter and he has to turn out of his sin dt quickly because they want to mess with the fire coming out of him.

If his kids come out as lgbtq+ he will be supportive and a little confused because he has no clue what it is. They have to explain what it means and what their sexuality means, he'll still be supportive and loves his kids no matter what they are

Nero

Out of Vergil and Dante, he's probably the one who knows more about taking care of kids since he grew up with them in an orphanage and takes care of them

I feel he's like a mix between Dante and Vergil, Fun dad but will put his foot down on somethings

If its a girl you bet he will go out to a store at whatever time it is and buy then pad/tampon when their monthly comes no questions asked he just knows. If its a dude he will give the talk, not just protection but what not to do, like when a girl tells him to stop he needs to stop, no advancing on or anything like that (I feel like the no advancing will also go for the girl)

Doesn't do favoritism, he hates that stuff since he technically dealt with it as a kid, if one kid ask why he loves the other more than them he will shut that down quickly and tell them he loves them equally and will move moons for them to both be happy

Best cook hands down, and will let his kids help if they want to but keeps them away from sharp objects. He will also take them out to dinner if he doesn't want to cook

He's decent with homework, and goes about it in a fun learning experience for the both of them, if they get an answer right they get a point that they can trade for something special later kne, if they get it wrong they will go over it again, but still get a point because no favoritism. He also help make a volcano, but also put a little extra pizzazz to it, and might have caused the whole kitchen to be a different color now.

His kids can vent to him, he will understand and try to help give advice for some issues, also takes them out of the house to do something they want to do to cheer them up

He will encourage his kids to follow what they want to do, play a sport? He will show up to every game, even if that means giving Dante his mission he will. A club? He will make sure they have everything they need for that club and be on time for it, be it art, book, yearbook, student council, etc. They want to do boy scout/girl scout, he will make sure he gets them a vest and help put pins on as well. He will be the number one supportive dad

As soon as his kid comes to him crying about how some other kid is bullying them he will be mad, he'll reassuring his kid that they are amazing first, then go to the school, if they don't do anything he will go straight to the parent and make sure that their kid doesn't mess with his anymore.

Will watch anime with them, if they agree that is don't want your dad into your stuff. But like he's absolutely into it, he seems like the person to like Bleach (this was not intentional I complete forgot that the voice actor for Nero also did Ichigo) or Cowboy Bebop. Maybe sailor moon but you won't hear him say it

Look he's really new to the devil trigger business, the only thing close he had was that ghost creature, so keeping this thing in check and not popping up randomly is hard. His kids reaction are, "You hair is longer, are you like rapunzel, oh wait you have wings and a crown your an angel. Oh can I braid your hair please," of course he will let them braide his hair he can't say no to a pouting face, they also will poke his wings to see if their real.

He will definitely support his kid if their aprat of the lgbtq+, will buy them flags, merch, you name it. He want his kid to feel safe and loved

Lady and Trish

Look I can't separate these two, when I first saw them I thought they were girlfriends, and I can't let that go. But these two would definitely be the fun and protective mom

So considering Trish and Lady are both females they definitely have to adopt of course, now Lady may not know if its half demon or full, but Trish does and she probably would help the kid when they get older since she knows about the demon body considering she has one, if its human Lady knows the most about the stuff going on when they get older and has I already planned out.

Now Lady has to be the protective mom because the shit happen with her dad she definitely doesn't want anything bad to happen to their kid, and Trish is like you do you kid if you get hurt you learn from it "its the demon way of raising" she says. Though she still will watch over them and make sure they don't get themselves severely hurt

They will buy their kid anything, and take them out shopping. It's like a spin the wheel of pay to see if they will pay for the stuff or put it under Dante's name for shits and giggles

Lady has to like keep her weapons locked up somewhere safe, unlike Dante, she's more careful with her weapons

If their kid is mad or something Trish will take them to some deserted area with some random stuff she found that isn't in use and have their kid throw it in the air so she can blow it up with her lighting, you know to blow steam off

Trish or Lady tell their kid the stupidest thing Dante has done or said, if they visit Dante please note one will scream if Dante says something about a soul, "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with Light" and get the voice crack right too, he will look so embarrassed

Now Trish might not know anything about homework she'll support the best she can but Lady knows most of the stuff and will help.

Trish will tell their king everything about Hell, who's in charge, what creatures are there, the history of it all. Its a great learning experience until you tell them that the female demons kill the male after finishing mating

If they are out in public and some guy is hitting on their kid and their tell him no, protective mom mode is on. Mostly Lady has to stop Trish from frying thr guy, but Lady will give the man a price of her mind saying if he tries to do this shit again with her kid he will be going home with a foot straight up his ass. So now no man tries to hit on her

Definitely let the kids go venting to them, they give the best cuddled, some good advice, and shopping if they say someone's bullying them they will see that the parent deals with their kid.

They knew their kid was apart of lgbtq+, of course their supportive of who they are, they are dating of course. They will take them to a pride march in June

Kyrie

Look, LOOK, she is an amazing mom, so caring but also will put her foot down on somethings

Besides Nero she is a good cook and baker, while she doesn't want kids in the kitchen while she's cooking will will have them help with baking sweet

Reads bedtime stories and tucks her kids in and kiss goodnight (ugh my heart hurts I love this)

She will play video games with her kids mostly on the wii, she still the champion on Mario Kart and Just Dance no one has taken their spot yet, even Nero tries

Packs lunch for her kids and puts a note in it telling them that she loves them and hope they have the best day

She does worry about them from time to time when they go over a friends house, only because of what happened to her brother and then Nero she doesn't want anything to happen to her kids

Tells them not to climb the tree in their backyard, what does one of them do, they climb it and accidently falls down. She goes to them saying "You know I told you not to do it, and you did it anyways, you need to be more careful and listen to me. I'm not doing this because I'm being uptight I'm doing this for your safety I want you to be able to do the things you want in the future"

I feel like she's the same way with friends like Vergil, if she doesn't know the parents then you can't go out or over their house

She is really a good listener and help with advice, so venting to her is a really great idea also will ask about your feelings and how your doing someday, like she knows your in a sad mood

She also good with homework, I feel like she wanted to become a teacher as well as study for it, but instead stuck with taking care of orphans, so she probably homeschools her kids too

She also makes the kids clothes time to time, they have little sweaters or shirts that are soft and comfortable

She is so supportive of her kids if they come out lgbtq+, she doesn't care as long as their happy thats all that matters.

Nico

Now I love Nico amazing and pretty girl but don't leave a child with her, just like Dante it will be a disaster, but she probably would try to be a better parent than her since he technically wa this weird freaky man who experimented on demons or was weird.

Let's start with teaching the kid every swear word she knows and tells them to go up to Nero call him one of those names, she will hear her name being screamed and find an angry Nero going over to her as she burst into fits of laughter

Will be extra pair of arms when getting a tool they need for fixing the van, when Nero does understand what a Dohicky is

I think Nico can cook, its decent not bad or good, she did nearly burn the van down from trying to cook turkey.

She will try and cut back on smoking or at least not doing it when the kid is around because its bad for them, Nero scoffs because she nags him when he tells her to stop, but not her kids

Now her kids could bring homework to her, like he's good in math, engineering, and probably biology, but she'll act as if she never even seen the stuff in her life, because she wants to get her learn it and not her just giving them the answer. But if their kid is in a science fair I bet she will help make something totally child friendly(its not really), it kind of gets her and her kid ban from doing anymore science fairs.

She will teach then everything she knows about Demon, mostly the biology of it, and when Nero brings a demon part for his breakers, she goes in explain how she turns them into those.

Will tease her kids if they talk about their crush, she's a huge teaser so saying something about someone they really like or anything its a mistake, she will embarrass them in front of their crush, but she means well

If they try to change the channel of the radio she swats their hand saying the driver picks the music and the passenger has to sit and listen.

If she's busy with something she will let Nero and Kyrie babysit her kids, she trust them and the kids love Nero and Kyrie.

Tries to teach her kids how to drive when their of age to learn, but Nero and Kyrie won't let her considering how she drives and that the instructor is more legal to do it.

No but she will tease her kid a bit if they come out lgbtq+ too, of course she supportive I kind of see her being apart of lgbtq+ as well

They will teach their kid self defense, and how to use a weapon. While they rather their kids have a normal life instead of a demon hunter for many reasons, they at least want their kid to take care of themselves if they find themselves in a situation where their life is on the line

now allow me to explain the How and Why—

actually I lied again I can't possibly fully explain in one post but the absolute most basic explanation is that Will got cloned in the lab :)

eventually he escaped with all but a clone that was still in incubation (which he was unaware of at the time), and now they just live in some underwater caves that are easy to hide in. why yes, it IS a blatant s2 tunnel ref, and yes, they DO keep the remains of lab divers in the hub :))

anyway lemme list the Will squad from oldest to youngest (I haven't officially decided if Will encounters Mike 7 years after he was initially captured (making him 19) or 7 years after he escapes the lab (making him 21), but no matter what I'm Legally Obligated to go overboard on 7 usage, and all the clones were created during that two year time frame when Will was 12-14)

0 Will the Wise: the original Will. carries the others when going long distances (also carried them all out of the lab), and uses items the others can't lift yet to make equipment/traps/etc

1 Will the Warrior: bit and shocked the handlers without hesitation even if it earned punishment, 100% feral with no fucks to give. defender of the smols (ง •̀_•́)ง probably tries to defend the Big Will too

2 Will the Watchful: keeps an eye on the others when Big Will is away, makes sure they eat enough, aren't swimming where they shouldn't, takes care of little wounds from being stupid, all that fun shit

3 Will the Wordsmith/Witty/Wry: likes to make up stories.....but also can and will commit verbal murder at a moment's notice. calls Big Will "William" when feeling extra confrontational. often watches Warrior Will do literally anything and comments "this is why Mom won't let you go on land"

4 Will the Wistful/Wary: when the wariness gets too exhausting, it's wistful time. daydreams excessively to ignore sensory overload/burnout. Big Will makes/collects things to help manage it (this is the clone Mike encountered and wouldn't leave alone, who eventually brought him to the lake to Not be killed)

5 Will the Wiggly: zooms nonstop and then passes out cold in some random position....like a mer version of a gay sit. also likes to make the lights blink on lab equipment scraps after Big Will makes sure there's no functional tracking shit (or discards those pieces in the hub where lab people know not to go anymore)

6 Will the Wandering: spends notably more years in the lab than the others and just wants to see everything there is to see, but it's difficult to see Everything when confined to Hawkins.... (Mike can help there tho)

note: the clones don't actually call the original one "Big Will" because uhhhhh they call him Mom. for the earliest clones, the first mer word they heard was him calling for his mom, so that's the first thing they imitated. and by the time he wasn't calling for her anymore, the clones that could talk already called him their mom, and the others just followed suit

btw Big Will and Wary Will share the name "Will Byers" when they're on land, depending on the situation and who needs a whole human name. the other clones are still too suspiciously small to pretend to be a human child, so they don't need to worry about having different Spoken Above Water names yet

(and no, Will's "mer surname" wasn't Byers, he got that After escaping the lab :)) by complete accident :))) but anyway he owns it now. he doesn't even know what it means to be a Byers but he sure fuckin is one. he has no idea how fucking confused Joyce is about the brand new son that apparently half of Hawkins knew about before she did. Will you can't lay low and Also beat the shit out of popular bullies it doesn't work like that, pick one or the other)

this post doesn't have enough byler content to justify the tag so Ima fix that. I mentioned in the previous post that it was their "first second" meeting. it's because Will doesn't recognize Mike (tends not to think about california if he can help it anyway) and Mike obviously couldn't recognize Will at first, what with his human shape and long hair in front of his face.

but they did meet in california once, the summer before Mike started kindergarten. he saw a tiny "mermaid fairy", with eyes shinier than all the fish he'd seen that day—and when he told his family, no one believed him🙃

because he was so focused on the Shiny, he eventually forgot the specifics of Will's general dull-colored appearance, but he didn't forget the eyes....he didn't forget that the meeting happened. then in the distant future, when Will is trying to be all threatening, he tilts his head in just the right way to accidentally expose one eye and Mike like. stops working for a hot second while his brain tries to process the colors he's staring at and why it's in a human face—

but his mouth doesn't wait for the processing part to be done. he just suddenly yells I FUCKING KNEW IT and makes Will want to Die from the volume

while Will's mildly disoriented and covering his ears, Mike subconsciously reaches forward to push his bangs out of the way, which earns him a warning static buzz, but he's moving slow enough that Will doesn't feel the need to stun him yet.

rn Will just thinks Mike's a fucking dumbass who's too stupid to feel threatened. and then Mike asks something stupid too

"do you remember the first time we met?"

(Will does Attempt to say they never met, but Mike just plows forward with something that proves it like "how did you get here from california" or "we were by the [insert some underwater landmark (equivalent of the swingset)]" or something and Will's like. oh shit he's right that's a thing that happened wtf)

also because things like this are Extra self-indulgent, Will Can do the underwater oxygen kiss and he Does do it at times without any awareness of what that does to Mike's mental health. like I said before, we love and respect an absolutely Parched Mike Wheeler
