EDIT: So I totally forgot about the line where Vox is like "And hey, you still have him under contract" Sooo this entire idea is false. But the idea of Vox saying Angel quit is still an interesting one, since it implies there is a possibility sinners can "quit" in some way from a contract

So two things real quick: I know I've been talking about Hazbin a lot, but tbh If I were to do anything with that fandom it would be with my OC's/NG's, I'm still not crazy over the main cast (besides the potential dynamic between Vox and Angel, and Fizz x Ozzie from Helluva Boss, the characters don't grab me as much as characters in other fandoms do)

And second thing is I do wanna bring up an interesting point I don't think anyone else has mentioned yet

Vox specifically says "Oh Angel quit?". Obviously this happens in ep 2, but by ep 4 we know Valentino has Angel under contract, Valentino even says "I own you (Angel)". While we don't know a great deal of lore about how contracts work in Hell, I think it's a given to assume they're a big deal. More so, they're not something you can just "quit" and move on from

I just find it really interesting how Vox asks if Angel "quit" rather than saying something like "Oh you fired him?" to Val.

Is Vox even aware that Valentino has Angel under contract?? His brighter mood when he asks if Angel "quit" could be because, for all he knows, Angel is somebody who causes Val to loose his cool, somebody Val chooses to keep around, which causes problems that he ultimately has to sort out. Indirectly, Angel causes problems for Vox (I assume the reason Vox pulls out his phone while Valentino is ranting is because it's likely he's done this song and dance a hundred dozen times and doesn't take it all that seriously anymore).

And if Vox doesn't know about Angel's contract, he's left to believe that Angel is causing problems on purpose. It's probably likely Vox knows Angel is important to Val because of the money he makes him, but he also probably knows that Valentino is a literal tyrant and employs dozens of people who, all together, make him a lot of money

I think the idea of Vox perhaps not being aware of Angel's contract is further supported when he turns to Val later in the episode, when the V's are discussing about having somebody infiltrate the hotel, and asks "Do you think Angel would do it?". He phrases the question casually, like there's a chance Angel could say no, phrasing it a way that makes Angel the one who decides

Alternatively, he could have said "Can you (Valentino) get Angel to do it?" or "Can't you (Valentino) make Angel do it?"

It's very possible that this is just me thinking too deeply into stuff. While I do want this show to do good for the animation world overall, praying it'll draw more attention to other Indie Animated projects (cuz god knows Disney isn't pushing out good movies like it used to-) the writing in some episodes - looking at episode 3 and parts of episode 1 - isn't brilliant. Plus with how some of the writing is in Helluva Boss also I don't have a lot of hope that THIS much thought went into the script for the show.

It's very likely that Vox isn't written this deeply, but if it turns out I'm right and some of what I've discussed does end up being true though trust me I have my doubts, I'll be surprised

A Sucky Hazbin Hotel Pilot Breakdown

The tone they set with the song is both somber and suspenseful.

Eyes seem to be a pretty big theme.

Sillohuets of Angel Dust, Snake Guy, and Nifty. I'm expecting the others to have an appearance in the show, as well.

I'm assuming this is Charlie's mother and father OR Charlie and her father. Considering what we see, I'm willing to bet this is her mother's backstory.

And this must have been when Charlie was born. Her father a Demon and her mother an Angel. And her father must see her as a failure.

Her mother, perhaps? Also, is this show just going to be about how Agels are just as bad or maybe even worse than Demons? Cuz...like:

Evil Face.

Bloody swords and dead people.

Are the fireworks because the purge is over?

Three more characters, one of which is familiar from the comic! There's also a poster of Angel Dust behind TV Man and a mysterious girl behind the other gal. Also, can I just say that at this point,if they have hearts on them the reason they're down below is probably because of sexual reasons?

I feel like i wanna say i like and love the show hazbin hotel and the characters personall dynamics and the animation smoothness is good overall in my personal opinion and also the story is actually pretty overall good and nice and after watching hazbin hotel i got a few of my recommendations of the frikin drama thing about the creator and the hazbin hotel show......

And to be honest a lot of peeps are talking about the overall drama thing and hazbin hotel and sayin that other peeps sayin that is homophobic or what not and the quote "other people" (sarcasticlly) sayin that show homophobic cus katie killjoy says "i dont touch the gays" and the lgbt+ characters had overall flaws and stuff like vaggie and angel dust (exept for charlie who's a overall are a good person princess demon of hell that saw a good in everybody like the every nice cinnamon roll protagonist are in quite few many shows,exept the overally the only big thing that charlie has is getting in to a fight with katie killjoy and says quite a few swear words,and she's probably a bit too nice sometimes),considering vaggie is a female edgy girl lesbian and agel dust is which appeared to be somewhat to be called a drag just because he wears pink and gay,a porn star,lustfull,and a drug addict(maybe??idk)

But its hell and the character in the show werent meant to be likeable and an uwu cinammon roll and alastor.....also meant to be somewhat passive agressive(maybe?),a bit manipulative some at times and a bit badass,overall the radio demon the first human-mortal-sinner-overlord kind of thing.......

Like most of people on youtube talking about the overall drama about the hazbin hotel,and the creator i do share a simmilarity that i dont know the creator very well and i just stumbbled upon her channel a month ago and just watched her videos only a day ago and also watching people on internet talking about the drama and stuff and look i dont know why some people are resentfull and didnt like the creator and decided to hate her videos just because of something she did in the past and its the people choices that if they wanted to hate the creator or not because the things she did in the past as the internet say so but to make things clear...... people can change over time and we are all human,humans makes mistakes present and in the past so yeah......this is my overall personal opinion about it and im a bit naive at times cus i havent look up yet that i saw someone hated the show and its because what vivziepop did in the past but cmon vivzie back then are probably young back then and made something that offended for you humans are litterally just your personal grugde and resentfull opinion towards her the way of why you hated her videos and for the peeps that love her videos and like the music and animation quality of the videos of how @vivziepop dont let other people take away your love why you like her show and music and channel overall just because the person is very stuck in the past and had a difficulty of letting go of the very passively agressive and resentfull towards @vivziepop on anout the thing she did in the past and we all people do always sometimes had a resentfullness of a another person and we can very aggresivelly hated that person and we all had our stregnth and weaknesses and we can be both intelligent,clever,rational,logical,and a genius but also a stupid,foolish,childish,irationall,and naive in every form one way and another

And dont let anyone stop you from doing what you love and want to achieve and for the people that hold a grugde for @vivziepop please calm down and rationalize your thoughts cus youre being very aggresive and irational and very heated and in flames and i will ask you to calm down just a little bit like maybe punch a pillow or something or drawing or write or meditate or exercise or scream on on top of your lugs in a secluded area or scream into a pillow to let out your anger and frustration and it might be difficult but its worth a try

Ok ok no no but no here me out. I’ve been think about both this line and

This part where Angel says “yeah you do (own me) In the studio and you can do anything you want to me there just like our deal says, but out here I get to do what I want”

Obviously that’s the terms of their contract, Which leaves a PRETTY BIG LOOPHOLE if you think about it.

What if Angel just… Didn’t go back to the studio. What if he texted Val that he quit while he wasn’t there. What if he said that their contract was over while he wasn’t At the studio?!!! Valeninto isn’t a master deal maker like Alastor with ironclad contracts, he’s an idiot!

What if the other Vs know the truth about Valentino’s mistake in making the contract, it would explain Vox knowing Angel could quit anytime.

Angel could have ALL the power here and just not realize it yet!
