Apologies for the lack of updates, I’m currently moving house and it’s very hectic with all the packing and cleaning and organising.

Hopefully I’ll be settled in fast, and my new place has less venomous spiders than my current one. Gotta love being Australian, yeah?

Bright side is that my 7 day vacation starts tomorrow. Part of it will be spent at Sonic Expo in Dallas, but majority of it will be spent rotting in my hotel room, gorging on take out. I'm hoping to be very productive here during that time.

The farther I get from my breakup (almost a year!!!) the more I realize that my ex-girlfriend was a giant fucking loser and it really was the trash taking itself out. Like thank god the universe clocked it and did the work for me

#normally I don't shit talk any ex because I respect them #but I have 0 respect for someone who randomly calls me and says she doesn't love me and never did #especially a week after my birthday and then admitting she was gonna do it THE DAY AFTER my birthday #I think at that point you get no respect and should be publicly roasted by the person you hurt #aka ME #anyway she never showered and anytime my brain is like 'let's think about her 🤡' I remind myself of that #and how embarrassing it was to learn that everyone could smell her and her meltdown at me for me saying she should shower once a day #anyway. we're getting close to my bday which is probably why I'm a little talkative about this #but really it was the trash taking itself out I'm much happier without her in my life #may she never reenter!!! that's all I have to say #if you've read this far have a nice day ❤️

So this episode was about teachers committing to and caring about their students, and district people too, and I love that :'). Sometimes all you need is a district person who will keep putting in the effort like that, and I love when it happens for people <33

Anyway! I'm so glad they got the interpreter for Amani, she so deserves it :'D. Everyone does :').

I'm glad Gregory decided to let them stay :') I think he can really help these kids out and be a good place for them :)) :D

Also proud of Tariq for finally calling Nick his name :'D hope they do get close :)

And once again proud of Janine for fighting through it to get the ASL interpreter :')) and the way she did it was so iconic xD same for the parents lol, going to a reporter that already doesn't like the district LOL, but yeah I am so happy for them :D

With going out for drinks at the end, I hope Janine doesn't leave them behind :((

Btw the reason for the boys being in Gregory's room being that the Mortons are in couples therapy is hilarious xDD

And lol hopefully it's just like, upkeep, because they just got married xD

Anyway!! I am distrustful of districts but I hope it works out (with the issues obviously) on the show :). And even though I am I know this side of the story needs to be seen as well so it's nice to see, switches it up on me a bit more than usual. Like, makes me a little more uncomfortable and see it a different way more than usual. Which is good :)

Loved the episode!!! I'm so excited for next week :D

me and the work girlies having socialist convos at the end of the day

#funny as hell like. we finished our workload about half an hour early #because they've hired so many of us temps. who are improving at the job each day #that there's just been less to spread around #yet bc work culture is dumb our manager suddenly told everyone to push the carts we'd already sorted #into a square in the middle of the floor? which we've never done before #and the permanent staff had no idea why either. they were also confused but resigned #I passed one and said ''hey so is this just because we have 20 minutes of the shift left''#and she just laughed and shrugged and was like idk ask him lmaooo #definition of busywork #so we're all just standing around for 10 minutes until the manager starts calling people over to move... other stuff idk.#and I'm walking to join them when this small group of coworkers behind me goes HEY #you don't need to go. look he's got enough people and he's not looking stay heeere #so we just end up swapping stories about the managers giving us tips to process the conveyer faster #even tho we uhhh work SO hard already. :)#and one woman went ''I was thinking. ummm. I could go faster. but you gonna pay me more??? so I worked slower ❤️''#nothing but respect for us grunts here tho vs the management. I've never known a single person in the 3 weeks I've been here #to not come and help someone who looks busy on the opposite conveyer when theirs is slow #turns out people are naturally nice and helpful when you don't take advantage and try and make them work harder #bosses will never learn this <3
