Harrison Coe and Justine Miceli in The X Files (1993) Kaddish
S4E15
Scully and Mulder investigate a series of murders that began with the beating and shooting of a young Orthodox Jew named Isaac Luria by a gang of young men. One of those men, 16-year-old Tony Oliver, has since been strangled by someone - or something - with Isaac Luria's fingerprints. With rumors that Luria has risen from the dead to seek revenge, the two remaining killers dig up his grave and find his body in the casket. One of them is killed, however. They suspect that Luria's father-in-law, Jacob Weiss, might somehow be involved in the revenge killings but Mulder thinks the solution lies elsewhere - in the legend of the Golem.
*The communal wedding ring was a real Jewish relic owned by a rabbi who survived the Holocaust. In fact, the rabbi had used it to wed two of writer/producer Howard Gordon's friends.

Big February Sweep…
Since we are in February, I don’t think we will get those unique Soap Opera February Sweep, such as Metro Court and Monkey Illness in GH. Since most of the major storylines had finished in January except for the Metro Court Shooter, Dex is working for Michael, Gregory’s illness, Tracy is still the owner of Deception, and Cory is Mac’s child. I don’t count whatever Drew and Carly’s plan against Nina because that needs a whole post on its own; I would have two major events going on at the same time to tie up those storylines and to have new storylines out.
Half of the cast is at Sonny’s Place on the Island, and the other half is at the hospital. And the way I would break it down is:
Character:
Sonny’s Place: TJ Ashford, Alexis Davis, Sam McCall, Danny Morgan, Scout Cain, Kristina Corinthos-Davis, Molly Lansing-Davis, Sonny Corinthos, Dante Falconeri, Rocco Falconeri, Carly Spencer, Josslyn Jacks, Michael Corinthos, Willow Tait, Wiley Corinthos, Amelia Corinthos, Donna Corinthos, Ava Jerome, Avery Jerome-Corinthos, Damian Spinelli, Lois Cerullo, Brook Lynn Quartermaine, Olivia Falconeri, Leo Quarteramine, Laura Collins, Anna Devane, Drew Cain, Dex Heller, John Cate, Blaze, Diane Miller, Brick, Sasha Gilmore, Trina Robinson, Kevin Collins, Harrison Chase
Hospital: Marshall Ashford, Jordan Ashford, Curtis Ashford, Scott Baldwin, Lucy Coe, Valentin Cassadine, Charlotte Cassadine, Elizabeth Webber, Jake Webber, Aiden Webber, Maxie Jones, Felicia Scorpio, Georgie Spinelli, James West, Bailey Jones, Tracy Quartermaine, Ned Quartermaine, Robert Scorpio, Cody Bell, Nina Revees, Gregory Chase, Violet Finn, Hamilton Finn, Portia Robinson, Martin Grey, Cyrus Renault, Stella Henry, Brad Cooper, Selina Wu, Yuri, Amy Driscoll, Terry Randolph, Deanna Sirtis, Felix Dubuis, Monica Quartermaine
Events:
Island - Michael and Willow want to have a huge first birthday for Amelia, and they decided not to have Nina or anyone related to her there. John and Anna join them as they know who the shooter is, and Dex realizes his secrets are coming out. Another shooting happens.
Hospital - Cyrus and Selina set a bomb during a fundraising at the hospital where everyone else is, and they think Sonny and his family were there.
Characters that are Kill off:
Island: Baby Lansing-Ashford, Blaze, Willow, Wiley, Donna, Olivia, Drew, Dex, Brick, Sasha, Molly, Damian
Hospital: Marshall, Lucy, Gregory, Cyrus, Finn, Amy, Bailey
Characters that go off-screen aftermath:
Island: Michael & Amelia take a small break (I would recast Michael when they come back in six months); Leo goes to live with Grandma Falconeri; John finishes his case; Josslyn goes to visit Jax; Kristina takes a break and goes with Ric for awhile.
Hospital: Violet goes back to Hayden as Jason knows where she is. Nina decides to visit NYC to check in on her family’s company. Cody goes to find Mac to tell him the truth.
The ending of the storylines:
Island: the Metro Court Shooter: Blaze is the older sister of Lila Rae, meaning she is Lozreno’s daughter, and it is their mob family who is behind it. Dex is working for Michael: Everything they did and who knew comes out, and he is actually working for the FBI. All of his backstory was a lie as he is Stone Cate Jr.
Hospital: Gregory’s illness: He dies protecting Elizabeth’s boys, who have Violet with them. Tracy is still the owner of Deception: She overhears Maxie telling Ned who is injured and what his daughter is trying to do, and Tracy realizes that she watched Maxie grow up and this was her dream. Cody is Mac’s child: Robert, Felicia, and Cody are stuck together, and he tells them.
Start of Storyline
Island: Carly and Sonny lose their minds again with Jason returning; they are sent to a Mental Hospital, where we get a break from the characters. Sam asks Alexis to help her run Drew’s company for Scout, and she deals with Danny’s anger with Jason and everything that happens to them. Brooklyn and Chase's wedding is put on hold. TJ started having PTSD from losing his girl and baby.
Hospital: Jason saves Elizabeth and Monica from Cyrus and tells them he has both memories. Elizabeth’s sons (all three of them) have daddy issues, and Elizabeth realizes she has both issues with her parents. While rebuilding the hospital, Elizabeth discovers that her family owns it. Terry realizes how understaffed the hospital is and starts looking for people. Maxie is asked to take over Crimson as well.

Stereogum shares Charles’ dreamy new video + single, “Remember Blushing”
“The first single from Charles’ new album Let’s Start A Family Tonightwas a dreamy bedroom-pop jam called “Rex Harrison.” The second, “Remember Blushing,” continues to tap into that chillwave-y vibe. Charlotte Ercoli Linden Coe sounds lost in a fog of emotion, quietly reflecting on bygone memories over massive swells of soft-focus synthesizer.”

Charles’ new album, Let’s Start A Family Tonight is out 05/21 on Babe City Records.

Florida playlist
Are they still counting the votes in Florida, Nevada and...speaking of Florida. I made a Florida playlist and last Xmas, I updated it, added songs to it for my trip across the state. I visited Daddy Kool Records in Saint Petersburg, Wax Records in Vero Beach and St Pete Records. But in the hire car, this was my playlist across Florida. Made the road trip that much more awesome. Not to mention a fabulous meal at Nicko McBrain’s Rock n Ribs!

The GH spoilers recap for Friday, July 1, 2022, features Sasha Gilmore Corbin getting some pills from her photographer ‘friend’ and things only got worse from there. GH Spoilers Recap Highlights After Felty (Brian Norris) got Sasha some pills that didn’t even seem recognizable to her, she promised him that backstage press pass and made her way over to the Deception office. When Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) told her the script for her TV appearance segment was changing, she freaked out and popped a pill when nobody was watching. As Maxie and Lucy put pressure on her by reassuring her how great she is and how she would show the world that on TV, Sasha freaked out some more. After she composed herself, Maxie and Lucy left and Sasha popped one more pill before joining them on their trek to the station. Uh-oh. General Hospital Recap: Brook Lynn Turned To Sonny With Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) lamenting his latest PCPD suspension status to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) took it upon himself to ask Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to have a talk with Linc Brown (Dan Buran). Sonny told her if the word got out on the street, people would think Chase was a crooked cop. However, he can use his influence with the civilian review board. At the Metro Court Gardens, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) lamented her own problems to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). She turned down Olivia’s offer to use Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) money to buy Carly’s half of the hotel from the hedge fund, but when Sonny showed up, Olivia suggested she ask him for the money. GH Spoilers Recap: All About Esme As Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) discussed their odd divorce with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) showed up and feigned shock at all of this, asking Nikolas if he told Ava everything. She then covered and said she knew that Nikolas was thinking of a separation. When Esme got Nikolas alone, she kinda-sorta insinuated she would maybe tell Ava the truth, so Nikolas agreed to help her get her internship back at Spring Ridge. When Nikolas returned to the table, Ava decide she didn’t want to rush the divorce. At Kelly’s, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) told Cameron Webber (William Lipton) that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had found Esme’s real mother and Cameron believed him. Spencer then admitted if Cameron fell for it, so would Esme. He wants to offer her the ‘truth’ while getting her to confess what she did to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Spener also wanted Cameron to help him get a hold of Carly and Josslyn Jacks’s (Eden McCoy) DNA so he would have mother-daughter DNA to make this trick look authentic. As they put their plan into action, Esme showed up at the Metro Court pool and wondered what was going on. [ Source link

coe-lilium replied to your post “well I started reading a book on Joan of Arc to satisfy my now endless...”
Who's the author/title? I've re-read so many times Pernoud's books on her (and i love them, def recommended if a translation is available) but a new voice can't hurt :)
It’s called Joan of Arc a Life Transfigured by Kathryn Harrison. I had picked this one originally because it’s written by a woman and honestly I trust women historians way more than men and that turned out to be a great choice because she writes this thing like she’s totally enraptured by Jeanne and the things that it’s seriously magical.
#coe-lilium#it's super detailed and compelling#I'd definitely recommend it#I'm only 2 chapters in so far but it's damn good

The best available players after Round 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft
Washington quarterback Jacob Eason is the biggest name yet to be drafted, but he’s not the best player out there.
As expected, several runs on positions happened on Day 2. In the second round, four of the first 13 picks were used on safeties. The round also featured five running backs after only one was selected in the first round.
Wide receivers also continued to be popular. After six were taken in the first round, seven were picked in the second round and four in the third round.
After 106 picks, there are still plenty of talented players remaining in the 2020 NFL Draft. There are some big names, too. The biggest is Washington quarterback Jacob Eason. The thought was that he’d be picked on Day 2 of the draft, but only one quarterback went off the board with the Philadelphia Eagles taking Jalen Hurts in the second round.
