Breathe Easy: The Benefits of Professional Air Duct Cleaning
Are you constantly suffering from allergies or respiratory problems? Do you want to improve the air quality in your home or office? One solution to consider is professional air duct cleaning. This service involves removing contaminants, such as dust, dirt, and debris, from your HVAC system's air ducts. In this article, we will explore the benefits of air duct cleaning and why you should consider it for your home or office.
What is Air Duct Cleaning?
Air duct cleaning involves removing the contaminants that accumulate in the air ducts of your HVAC system. These contaminants can include dust, dirt, pollen, and other allergens. Over time, these pollutants can build up and circulate throughout your home or office, contributing to poor indoor air quality and respiratory problems.
Professional air duct cleaning typically involves the use of specialized equipment, such as high-powered vacuums, to remove the contaminants from your air ducts. This service can also include cleaning the various components of your HVAC system, such as the furnace and air conditioner.
The Benefits of Air Duct Cleaning
Improved Indoor Air Quality By removing contaminants from your air ducts, air duct cleaning can significantly improve the quality of the air you breathe. This is especially important for individuals who suffer from allergies or respiratory problems, as clean air can help alleviate symptoms.
Energy Savings When your HVAC system's air ducts are clean, they can operate more efficiently. This means that your system will not have to work as hard to heat or cool your home or office, resulting in energy savings and lower utility bills.
Extended Lifespan of HVAC System A clean HVAC system can last longer than a dirty one. By removing contaminants from your air ducts, you can extend the lifespan of your HVAC system and avoid costly repairs or replacements.
Improved Airflow When your air ducts are clogged with contaminants, your HVAC system may struggle to distribute air evenly throughout your home or office. By removing these blockages, air duct cleaning can improve the airflow and ensure that every room in your space is properly ventilated.
When Should You Consider Air Duct Cleaning?
It is recommended that you consider air duct cleaning if:
You have pets in your home
You or someone in your home suffers from allergies or respiratory problems
You have recently completed a renovation or construction project
You have noticed an increase in dust or debris in your home or office
You have recently moved into a new home or office
How Often Should You Schedule Air Duct Cleaning?
The frequency of air duct cleaning depends on several factors, such as the number of occupants in your home or office, the presence of pets, and the frequency of use of your HVAC system. As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended to schedule air duct cleaning every 3-5 years. However, if you have pets or suffer from allergies or respiratory problems, you may need to schedule air duct cleaning more frequently.
Air duct cleaning is a service that can significantly improve the air quality in your home or office. By removing contaminants from your HVAC system's air ducts, air duct cleaning can improve indoor air quality, save energy, extend the lifespan of your HVAC system, and improve airflow. If you are considering air duct cleaning, it is important to choose a reputable and experienced service provider.

Cleaning: The service provider will use specialized equipment, such as high-powered vacuums and brushes, to remove contaminants from your air ducts.
Post-Cleaning Inspection: After the cleaning is complete, the service provider will conduct a final inspection to ensure that all contaminants have been removed and the system is functioning properly.

DIY Air Duct Cleaning vs. Professional Air Duct Cleaning
While it may be tempting to save money by attempting to clean your air ducts yourself, it is not recommended. Local Car Washed For The First Time In Nearly Two Years
After over a year of neglect and several months of gridlock in local government over budget allocations for the matter, anonymusbosch's car's interior was washed today. Asked for comment on what finally allowed the council to come to agreement on this desperately-needed measure, Bosch responded, "Well, it's been overdue for a while, but the recent exposure of nearly the entire interior to urushiol increased the urgency of finding a fix. The health of our constituents is a top priority for the council." (Urushiol is the oil found in poison oak and poison ivy and can cause itching and burning lesions upon contact; the oils can remain on fabrics for weeks.)
Given that this vehicle is primarily used for transporting heavy and bulky objects and for transporting personnel who have come in contact with poison oak, why was the matter not addressed sooner? A spokesperson for Bosch responded, "Frankly, we haven't had the equipment to deal with this, and we've never seen an urushiol dermatitis incident in the time we've had this car. We've been attributing that to better precautionary measures about second- and third-hand exposure. With the recent outbreak, we've been able to justify to the county treasurer the bond measure used to finance the remediation project."
An aide at the councilmember's office provided further detail. "When we originally proposed a remediation project, the cost estimate was nearly $200 for a full interior detailing. That wasn't something our local taxpayers were prepared to support and frankly thinking about spending $200 for someone to clean our car made us nauseous. At the same time, we don't have a wet-dry vacuum, so we weren't prepared to lead a remediation project ourselves. Thankfully we were tipped off to a more cost-effective option that has saved our taxpayers over $150."
A source who asked to remain unnamed listed the total dollar amount spent as "like 45 bucks" and said that "but like ten whole dollars went into the vacuum at a gas station because this fucker had straight up gravel all over the car. Completely irresponsible." The source added, "And they didn't even get all the sand out. Next time they might as well turn the car upside down and shake it." Eyewitnesses corroborated the source's price estimates, saying that a spot cleaner could be rented at the local Safeway for $29.99 for four hours and that the councilmember had been spotted loitering near the customer service desk there earlier today.
"We're happy to report that the councilmember has the financial considerations of the district's residents close at heart," said Bosch's spokesperson when asked for comment on the vacuum expenditure. "While the vacuuming portion of the remediation project went slightly over budget, we recouped an additional $12.99 by opting for laundry detergent instead of buying an entire container of carpet cleaner. We take these matters seriously."
An independent auditor who assessed the results of the remediation effort said that the car's interior was "not perfect, but, like, not narsty. There was gunk in all the corners and there isn't gunk now, or there's less gunk, and there also isn't a thin layer of sediment on everything either." The auditor noted that previous violations, like "a piece of tape that had been on the steering wheel for literally three years" and "four-month-old parking receipts" had been removed. "The urushiol was the highest priority, but it is also nice to see some of the lower-priority code violations addressed here as well," the auditor said.
When asked about whether the council would make vehicle cleanings a part of its standard services to the county or include them as a line item in next year's budget, Bosch replied, "Let's focus on the victories here. This was a collaborative effort that took several months of negotiations. I'd love to see support for it across the council, but I don't want to overpromise and underdeliver." Our reporter reminded Bosch that some cities support vehicle cleanings on a yearly or even quarterly basis. Maybe, like, just using the gas station vacuum once in a while? Bosch declined to comment. The Times also asked Bosch's office if the momentum from this victory for public health and transportation might be used to fix the apartment's bike storage rack or to schedule an appointment to replace the worn and thinning tires. "Our office has no further comment at this time," an aide replied. "And shut up about the tires. We'll get around to it."
After what it's taken to clean the interior, one can only hope.
#posts that get written in my head while i am filling my watering can with soap and water to clean off the hard surfaces in the interior#bc i don't know where a bucket is

also. tbh. a little disappointed it seems like taash is Also going to be from the qun, or at least a very recent defect. i was hoping we’d get to see more vashoth characters
#at this point it feels like a concept they made up for adaar/whatever qunari pcs for this one#this is something i’ve noticed recently where it’s like. nonhuman cultures feel like they’re being. what’s the word#reducing them all down to one culture#seeing this especially with elves bc we haven’t really spent time in an alienage since tabris#arianni and merrill are both dalish transplants. but alienages have their own culture#there’s elves whose ancestors were never in the dales. there’s elves who lived in the dales who never joined the dalish#but we don’t really get a whole lot about that#like. it’s very cool to have two dalish companions but i’m a little disappointed they’re the only elven companions yk#god. i could write a whole other post about elves#seeing this a little bit with dwarves too bc in harding’s v&v episode she brought up the stone a bunch#which i’ve already mentioned. could be an insight into surfacer culture that hasn’t assimilated into the chantry#or it could just be that they went ‘uhhh dwarf so they’re all the same’#i’m of two minds about varric’s beard for the same reason bc it was an intentional choice to have him be clean shaven#and maybe he’s gone through some offscreen character development. or it could be this again#it seems like a similar thing that happens to characters of color like#if they’re not white it’s either them or their parents who came from rivain/antiva/tevinter (thinking vivienne duncan isabela etc)#everyone needs an excuse for why they are where they are. except for white humans bc that doesn’t NEED an explanation. is how it comes acros#mine#taash

i know this probably won’t do much, let alone anything at all, but i’m sorry for the stress this site has caused you and so many other creators here. i’m not asking for you to stick around on here, but i hope you know just how meaningful you and your art have been on here. you’re amazing. /pos
Hey, this ask has done a lot more than you would think. Thank you, you are very sweet. <3
I've kind of made up my mind about what I'm gonna do for a while now, but I've simply been... too busy and overwhelmed to take the time to let you guys know. I'm not going to delete my tumblr, there's just. Too much here that I don't want to lose.
So far the game plan is: keep my tumblr. But do not upload anymore art or writing on it - not because it's gonna get scraped, because it was already getting scraped anyway, AI company deal or not. It's pretty much unavoidable at this point, unfortunately. I simply do not trust Tumblr with my data, if they're going to sell EVERYTHING, including private messages and such, so I'm not going to give it anything worthwhile to profit off of. Instead, I'm going to start uploading my art exclusively on Ao3, for now. I'll answer any asks I receive here on there too, as well. I'll figure some kind of system out. 🤔
The cool thing about uploading to Ao3 is that anyone subscribed to my profile or to the containment series I will make will get a notification anytime I upload something new. Having my art and writing in one place is likely going to be more convenient for you guys too, since you won't have to move across platforms to get the full experience. 😄It'll be different... but a platform getting too greedy for its own good won't stop me from finding ways to share my stories with y'all. I'll just find another solution.
(I've also been entertaining the idea of joining or making my own Discord server but. That one is a little more delicate. The idea of joining a server that has hundreds of members like a lot of this fandom's servers have, just. Makes me break into hives, lmao. (I am in the Ghost in the Machine fic server. I muted it an hour into joining, it was way too intense for me. |'D) That is way too many people, I simply cannot handle it. I'd be way more comfortable in a smaller group with a less rapid-fire rate of posting and conversation. I am also. Very picky about which servers I join, which makes asking for recommendations doubly awkward when I shoot them all down, haha... And making my own... Err, I can hardly keep up with a server I helped create for another fandom and mod for, I don't think I could handle two of them - I would need other people to handle the moderation for me, and I wouldn't trust just anyone to be a mod. I'd need to know them well enough to know I could trust them, and I... do not really know anyone in this fandom well enough to do that, sadly. I take server moderation very seriously, as someone who has had experience modding for forums back before social media was a thing. I do not know if that would make for a fun experience for everyone, and anyone who hasn't known that kind of supervised experience. It is comforting to me. It may be intimidating for others. So that's still a very hand-wavy, 'eehhhh' kind of thing still.)
All of this to say, that this isn't the last you'll see from me, far from it. I'll restrict my creative output to Ao3 for the foreseeable future, and I'll let you guys on here know when I make a new upload, so those of you who do not have an Ao3 account know when something new has happened.
So there you have it. 😊
#also just so y'all know#i AM working on the next CotA chapter#i am. about 40% done.#i needed to take a breather after that massive last upload and then life just. fucking tackled me lmao.#in order: my folks put up the house for sale. i have spent half of my weekends having to evacuate the house at a moment's notice.#so prospective buyers could visit. not very good conditions to write in. too stressful.#then i caught fucking covid for the very first time and had a BAD TIME. it took me weeks to recover. couldn't climb stairs for a while.#i think i still have episodes of brain fog 5 months later because of it. my body was really weird for a while after.#(writing is still a little hard after that. but i think i am slowly overcoming it. hopefully it doesn't show too much in the new chapter.)#random unexplained symptoms and more i will not share. then the holiday season came and went.#then we finally got serious buyers after months of having no-shows yank our chains and expulse us from our home for nothing.#the house is sold. then came the cleaning out and packing. we are nearly done and i am finally coming up to the surface to breathe a little#we are moving in a month's time so i might be a while before i feel stable enough to start posting a little more regularly once more.#so this year i may have to give mermay a pass. to my ENORMOUS chagrin. it's just not in the cards for me this year. ;___;)#but we are getting there. we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. and i am confident enough to say it's not a train.

What if they didnt fight cary and convinced him to return for saw 3... Then, would the scenario "jigsaw kidnaps larrys family" become real? Then, then, would it be more awesome than his coming back in saw 3d? I guess the answers yes. I'll forever hate Larry's treachery.
if it went according to plan, allison is kidnapped again and lawrence takes the role of lynn where he cares for john (iirc). either way, yeah theyre involved again. not sure abt diana tho?
okay so, sorry to be That Guy. but lawrence as an apprentice makes the most sense for his character and the saw universe and im going to use this random ask to voice my opinion so thank you for using my ask box as a saw google lol
A LOT more under the cut
i DO with we got to see that version because it would mean more lawrence screentime and i genuinely do not dislike any saw content. idc how shitty saw x is, it could undo everything and shit all over it but i would NOT care. any content means an avenue to explore saw further
thats one of the main reasons the apprentice reveal was so good, in my opinion. before i get to why its great for lawrence, i want to point out why it works SO well for the other aspects. amanda is johns pseudo-daughter, he LOVED her like a father. we see it at the end of saw iii. no matter what he says, john does not forgive people. he punishes jill for losing their child but at the end of iii, we see him genuinely look at amanda with love and forgiveness. and yet? he never trusted her enough to tell her about lawrence. this random fucking guy who didnt even WIN, is the golden child. trusted with his wife!
as for mark, he is the definition of jigsaws philosophy. he may have jostled his victims around but he had the strongest will to live out of anyone and never relished in hurting them (crying after kidnapping paul + killing seth). another reason i like 3D is that he cant even look at jills corpse. his "game over" wasnt victorious. not like johns always is. YET he is not trusted. hes been there since before amanda, followed his rules, lived his philosophy and he was shafted again. i think the reveal does a lot of good for the apprentice-john dynamic for everyone involved.
secondly, JOHNS TESTS DONT WORK. CANONICALLY. they do not!! amanda says it herself. jigsaw traps make people worse, and not just bc thats a logical response to trauma. working for john amplifies everyones worst traits. amanda became a killer, mark grew to find some sort of enjoyment in killing (at the very least, it made him dependent on it for power and a sense of identity after the loss of his sister)
lawrences test was designed to show him what john said he was missing: empathy. he has none! he lies and doesnt care, he cant understand other peoples points of view, and he prioritizes his own whims and wants over everyone. CONSISTENTLY. so what happens when his tests presents him with the very definition of his heart and moral core, then asks him to kill him? he gets fucking worse!
lawrence is a narcissist. as in the personality disorder. he has low empathy (this is canonically the reason for his test!! not just "he cheated" or "he ignored john", he does these things for that reason) and god. just look at the symptoms, its like they made every scene an example of them on purpose. the idea that his game would be a wake up call and cause him to reflect and adjust his behaviors is just insane to me! within the canon logic of the story, and when taking into account his clear personality disorder... its the most logical choice (source: i have it and also i have eyes. SIDE SIDE note, my real source is that hes a clear parallel to john and john was evaluated for NPD in his psychiatric files in the saw game. so theres that) i think this has a lot to do with people not understanding low empathy. they cant understand why he would betray adam and join jigsaw
trauma wont change that overnight. getting fixed by john for 2 years without seeing the sun certainly wont help either
lawrence as an apprentice is the most logical progression of his character. he does what he wants and what he has to, at the expense of others. hes isolated from his wife and child. he cant understand other peoples prespective. he has an issue with guilt or feeling empathy for people, including those suffering like john. this wont change bc he experienced his first shred of empathy after MURDERING someone he got to know for 6 hours. low empathy =/= no empathy. thats like saying dude bros who do shrooms and experience empathy for the first time in their life are changed people. they arent lol
also the contrast between his game over vs marks 5 minutes earlier is SO important for their characters. theres so much good shit in that movie. take out the corny lines and jill mistreatment, and u have a lot to work with! so yes i do think that itd be more awesome. i love saw 3D and what it did for his character. im not sure how saw iii hostage lawrence wouldve expanded on his character, but id rather go with saw 3D bc im confident they didnt butcher his character. im glad that a beloved protagonist is a complete narc, and hes still beloved! im never giving that up

Secrets of the Pros: How to Keep Your Carpets Looking Brand New
Carpets are a staple in many homes and offices, but they can also be a source of frustration when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. Whether you have wall-to-wall carpeting or an Oriental rug, keeping it looking brand new requires some effort and know-how. In this article, we'll share some secrets of the pros on how to maintain and clean your carpets effectively.
Understanding Your Carpet
Before diving into cleaning tips, it's important to understand your carpet. Carpets come in different materials and styles, and each requires different care. For example, wool carpets are delicate and require a gentle touch, while synthetic carpets are more durable and can withstand more aggressive cleaning methods.
Regular Maintenance
The first step in keeping your carpets looking brand new is regular maintenance. This includes vacuuming at least once a week, spot-cleaning spills immediately, and rotating furniture to avoid wear and tear in high-traffic areas.
Deep Cleaning
In addition to regular maintenance, deep cleaning is necessary to remove embedded dirt and allergens from your carpet fibers. This can be done using a professional cleaning service or by renting a carpet cleaner and doing it yourself. For Oriental rug cleaning, it's recommended to hire a professional to ensure proper care.
DIY Carpet Cleaning Solutions
If you prefer to clean your carpets yourself, there are DIY solutions you can use. One popular option is a mixture of white vinegar and water, which can be used to remove stains and odors. Another option is baking soda, which can be sprinkled on the carpet before vacuuming to absorb odors.
Hiring a Professional Carpet Cleaner
While DIY solutions can be effective, there are certain situations where it's best to hire a professional carpet cleaner. This includes deep cleaning for heavily soiled carpets, removing pet stains and odors, and cleaning delicate carpets like Oriental rugs.
Preventative Measures
Preventing spills and stains is the best way to keep your carpets looking brand new. This includes using doormats to trap dirt and debris, removing shoes before entering the house, and using stain-resistant treatments on your carpet.
Maintaining and cleaning your carpets may require some effort, but the results are well worth it. By understanding your carpet, performing regular maintenance, and deep cleaning when necessary, you can extend the life of your carpet and keep it looking brand new. Whether you choose to clean your carpets yourself or hire a professional, the key is to stay on top of maintenance and take preventative measures to avoid stains and spills.
Remember, for delicate carpets like Oriental rugs, it's always best to hire a professional carpet cleaner with experience in Oriental rug cleaning. With these secrets of the pros, you can keep your carpets looking brand new for years to come.
Maintaining the Beauty of Your Carpets
Your carpets are an investment in your home, and maintaining their beauty requires proper care. Regular cleaning not only enhances the appearance of your carpets but also keeps them free of dirt, dust, and allergens.
One important tip to remember is to avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasive tools when cleaning your carpets. These can damage the fibers and cause discoloration or even permanent damage.
Another tip is to avoid over-wetting your carpets during cleaning. This can lead to mold and mildew growth and cause long-term damage to your carpets. Instead, use a low-moisture cleaning method or hire a professional carpet cleaner who uses the appropriate equipment and techniques.
When hiring a professional carpet cleaner, make sure to choose a reputable company with experienced technicians who use eco-friendly cleaning solutions. This not only protects the environment but also ensures the safety of your family and pets.
Protecting Your Carpets
Protecting your carpets from wear and tear is another key to maintaining their beauty. One way to do this is to place furniture coasters under heavy items like sofas and tables. This distributes the weight and prevents the legs from sinking into the carpet fibers.
Another tip is to avoid direct sunlight on your carpets, as this can cause fading and discoloration. Use window coverings to block the sun's rays or rotate your furniture periodically to even out the exposure.
Keeping your carpets looking brand new is not as difficult as it may seem. By understanding your carpet, performing regular maintenance, and taking preventative measures, you can extend the life of your carpets and keep them looking beautiful for years to come.
If you're not comfortable cleaning your carpets yourself, consider hiring a professional carpet cleaner with experience in Oriental rug cleaning. They have the expertise and equipment to clean your carpets safely and effectively, and can even offer tips for maintaining their beauty between cleanings.
Remember, the key to maintaining the beauty of your carpets is regular care and preventative measures. With these secrets of the pros, you can enjoy your carpets for many years to come.
