7. what does your muse consider their comfort zone, ie. safest place?

"Mm, well, it was the slot canyons when I was maverick. When I first discovered the place years ago, I found out the entire slot canyon area was surrounded by a field of electromagnetic interference. Nothing harmful, just caused major signal interference for anything within the network of canyons and caves. I explored the whole maze top to bottom, but never did figure out the source for it. But it was a perfect place for a stealth reploid like me to hide out in. I could turn my ghost protocol off and not be able to be tracked at all out there, and because I knew the entire maze-like network of canyons and caves, it was too easy for me to lose any pursuers within them.

"I... do feel bad for the Hunters that tried to hunt me down in the early years. Most barely found their way back out after getting lost, a few... didn't make it. I left their bodies out where they could be found by the Hunter when I eventually found 'em... They stopped trying after a few years."

Umbran sighed and loosely wrapped his across his chest. "Obviously, now, I can't really go back there. Too far out. But... There is a place closer that I like to go to, especially at night, if I want to clear my head and find some semblance of peace.

"There's a cliff-side out in the wastelands. It's not too far out from the city, so I can easily and quickly get back if needed, but it's far out enough that the light pollution is minimal. The sight of the stars out there never gets old for me, and it's so wonderfully quiet... Even though it's completely out in the open, I've always felt safe and calm out there, even now..."

2. what is an action your muse regrets NOT taking?

Classic Verse: "There was a surgeon at the hospital Dr. Valheim works at, that immediately did not like me when I began to shadow my creator. He had great dislike at the idea of a medical robot like myself. He would not be swayed by Dr. Valheim's reassurances and argued I did not have the 'human factor' that made good medical professionals.

"When I began to get more involved, he would find ways to rebuke my assessments and challenge my treatment options when he felt he could. I was still technically learning, so rather than be frustrated, I would politely ask how I was wrong and what he would do. For some reason, that would only make him dislike me more, and often times, rather than answer, he would storm away. Dr. Valheim would reassure me I was doing nothing wrong when I would tell him of these occurrences, that the surgeon was letting his own biases and emotions get the better of him.

"This continued until an incident with an ER patient. I was becoming more confident of my abilities, but, perhaps, not confident enough. I had made my assessment and given a particular treatment option that I knew was the best option for them, and was given that surgeon to take on the operation. The surgeon immediately challenged my decision, and gave the patient and their family a different option, one I knew was riskier. He managed to convince them that because he was human with years of experience, he knew better what option was right, than a robot with hardly any experience or ability to know what was risky for a human or not. It was... humiliating, to say the least. Rather than stand up for myself, I reassured the surgeon and patient that due to my programming, I was meant to work with him, and conceded that if he was truly confident with his option, then I would accept his recommendation if the patient was also okay with that option.

"The patient went with the surgeon's option. And it backfired... The patient almost died, and a limb had to be amputated to save their life, something that would not have happened had I stood my ground and argued that he was wrong.

"The surgeon ruined his reputation and was eventually fired. The hospital apologised to me for not recognising his terrible attitude towards me before then, and I apologised to the patient and their family for the circumstances the situation between me and the surgeon had put them in. They, in turn, apologised to me, for they had felt something was off but the surgeon had made such a convincing argument to them who knew no better, that they felt they could put their trust in him.

"Though it was a profound learning experience for me, I still regret not standing my ground and believing in my own confidence, not for my sake, but for my patient's sake. I have made damn sure, and will continue, to never make that mistake ever again."

MMX Verse: Phoros was deathly quiet for several moments, with an air of melancholy hanging over him, before he answered softly, "I regret not being able to do more in the last moments of my life before. Dr. Valheim had not built me to be heavily armored, or for strength or power. It was all I could do to keep the rockslide from crushing us both. There was nothing more in my power I could do to help him out of the horrible situation we were trapped in.

I need to write/draw C!Dream with hoarding/guarding behaviors because you guys have no idea how bad that fucks up your thinking. It makes you into a wild animal.

Techno jokingly reaching for one of Dream's apples while they're chilling together and Dream slapping his hand and becoming super defensive without even realizing. He's just short of growling at Techno, and just a second ago they were joking together

When Punz and Dream are together then Dream will never leave anything of his on view, even while he cooks he angles himself to hide whatever he doing from Punz. He's not even doing it on purpose

Him guarding his territory. Punz rarely enters the prison because Dream always insists they have meetings elsewhere and always has an excuse of why they don't need to go in the prison rn

Having bunker after bunker filled with every type of item and backups for all those bunkers on top of that.

KKKKKKNO But Actually this is really big for Badboyhalo. Badboyhalo moving into Leo's room and then Doubling down??? Something that Like this is some big consequences Like... UGH Just Bad Usually NEVER touches an egg's room, he never moves in or messes with an Egg's room. He'll place more stuff but also tries to keep things in order and just... I feel like with this of Badboyhalo moving into LEO's room is really showcasing just HOW much he's hurting and how thin his sanity is getting and just how close he is from snapping entirely. And usually if you pester him one or two times he'll laugh and put things back to normal but he's doubling down...

Like him Telling Baghera that hurting herself won't do anything and instead she should lash out and burn something of Foolish's down, He's getting so violent and so MEAN, there's still bits and spots of him from before the eggs were taken but hes just... so different and so so mean now. This is not neg on his character at all I actually this is SO FUCKING gOOD It's like... It's the little things of his character, the little threats and acts of violence, not being as helpful to people, pulling some pranks that kill a lot or hurt people or do significant damage to the landscape.

There's a lot of people talking about how Bad sounds now as well, and they're so correct, the first couple of days before acceptance he was so monotone and quiet and just sounded miserable. and now a few days after while he's torturing the worker and working on the soulsteal potion and looking like he's either getting corrupted or getting torn up and he sounds manic and just i dunno I feel like we're on a rollercoaster, getting right to the top and we're looking at the drop just a good push about to go over and get that thrill.

Just... I love Bad's storytelling so much, he's been slowly ramping up his instability and urges for violence along with his changes in his skin. It's all deliberate and it's so subtle that those not with him constantly wouldn't really recognize it! Even now I'm kinda wondering if maybe I'm reading too much into it but I just feel like BBH becoming more violent is not an accident and all his actions are quite deliberate with the lore drips. He's so good at RP...

AND Him telling but not telling Foolish and Baghera some of the TWO people who know him the most besides maybe Etoiles and Forever. He's basically telling them but not telling them about the Federation worker in his basement and I think Baghera instantly clocks that he's done something BAD But she also trusts him and I think that's because she's only been around Bad for a few days so she doesn't know how bad he's gotten and she's going through her own lore and stuff with the Federation.

He is just cooking up something so good with this and I AM STILL NOT OVER ACCEPTANCE. He probably knew this was something that was going to happen, or that some negative consequence was going to happen. He knew that he'd either hurt himself or the other islanders or probably both and he STILL chose to do this. These consequences are not accidental or something q!bbh didn't think of he probably knew something like this would happen and he's still accepting that as the price to pay to get his kids back. Just... He's literally going to burn down the whole island for those kids and I am so fucking excited to see it.

I think today’s encounter with Ron could be a hallucination but the only thing that makes me hesitate to agree is Ron’s info on the federation. Info that we as an audience know is probably accurate but that q!Bad would have no actual way of knowing. He can’t hallucinate new information. Also, said information was exactly what he didn’t want to hear. If he was hallucinating a fantasy world where he didn’t accidentally kill/eat Ron, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me for his brain to include made-up federation info that actively upsets him. If it was a scary, negative hallucination maybe - it wasn’t though. Buuuut you never know I suppose. Either way I’ll enjoy it.

i hate Hate HATE that Billie was so fucking upfront and explicit and clear in Lunch about her attraction to a woman and all the media outlets are calling her/the song q*eer. it makes it look like her sexuality is some omnious cloud that includes all kind of people. shes not pansexual or omnisexual or just weird or whatever the q slur implies, that song is by a woman about a woman. sorry i just feel like they should clearly state that it’s a sapphic or wlw song. especially because of the fact that she doesnt dance around the topic, trying to be subtle.

Q and Karl think it’s funny at first cause the pickup lines also started as a joke, but then Sapnap got more serious and flirty and both of them kind of had a “shit this is hotter than it should be” moment.

Karl especially is a lot more receptive to it than he first thought he’d be

im kinda new to archiving stuff but i wanna save as many fob concert vids i can from tiktok, do you have any tips? should i save them to my laptop instead of my phone cause im a bit worried about storage space

for storage yea basically i personally prefer using my laptop/desktop just because. i feel like it's so much easier to do things on there lol like i'm sorry but how does ANYONE organise their files on their phone or get ANYTHING done in a mobile browser these days😭

anyway. also cus memory is dirt cheap and you can easily hook up an external hard drive (from a reputable company…) to your laptop to store your archive. you can research if u want hdd or ssd but basically you won't rlly have to worry ab space that way. also backups are an excellent idea and you will never regret having one or several, let's put it that way

for the actual saving..i really think it depends on what your priorities are, so for me i get quite nitpicky and i'm usually looking to download in the highest quality and resolution i can get and without a watermark if possible (i just think they look gauche. LMAO)

these days i pretty much use open video downloader to download videos from almost anywhere and it's been working great so far. it seems to grab the best quality automatically, i like that it puts the original link in the metadata so you always have the source at hand, and it names the file with the caption (as much of it can fit anyway lol)

however im guessing you might want something more immediate so i think there are many sites that can download tiktoks for you, ive tried out cobalt and it's simple, great and speedy ! in my experience tho.. it doesn't always grab the highest resolution.. ?

(i literally just tested it now with a couple toks and it grabbed them at 1024p. even tho i got them nice and crisp at 1920p with ovd😅 hold on let me just. show the difference

HOWEVER. if you dont care ab all that and just want as many vids asap so you can watch them in some form offline cobalt is a good option tho!

EDIT: turns out apparently you can change the download settings on cobalt so you can get hq!! play around with it and see if it gets you what you want!👍
