Nabi pressed the doorbell, swaying on the balls of her feet as she waited for the door to open. She waved her left arm around, causing the gift bag she was holding to hit her legs. She was about to press the button again when she heard Seonghwa’s voice.

“Who’s there?” He asked through the speaker.

“It’s Nabi,” She answered, putting her face in front of the camera so he could see her. She waved a peace sign by her eye. Seonghwa soon opened the door, letting Nabi in.

“How are you? It’s been a while since I last saw you,” he said as Nabi put her gift bag on the bench in the entryway. She traded her sneakers for a pair of slippers, raising to her full height again and grabbing her bag.

“I’m good. Working hard for our comeback,” she told the older man as he led her into the apartment.

“It’s in August, right?”

Nabi nodded. “Yeah, so we’re spending almost every day practising dances.”

“And you’re also doing That’s So Evie,” he said, offering her a seat on the couch.

She chuckled, sitting down with her bag at her feet. “I’m a busy person. How are promotions going?” She asked him about his promotions for BOUNCY.

“They’re good,” Seonghwa said, also sitting down. “Obviously a bit tiring, with how intense our choreography is, but we’re all enjoying it.”

“I haven’t spoken to you since my episode with Yunho and San came out,” she noted, pouting a little bit as she thought about it.

He nodded. “That’s right. And speaking of San, I’m assuming you’re here to see him?” He pointed at the gift bag by her feet.

Nabi smiled brightly. “You’re right. It’s a happy early birthday.”

“He’s in the shower right now–” he pointed to the bathroom, where Eve could hear water running– “but you can go to his room if you want to wait for him there.”

“Okay.” She nodded, standing up. She took hold of her bag as she walked around the couch. “If you’re asleep by the time I leave, then goodnight,” she told Seonghwa as she opened the door to San’s room.

“Goodnight,” he responded, going to his room.

Nabi entered San’s room, moving to sit on the bed. She looked around the room, sighing at the decor. Opening her gift bag, she looked for a place to put the throw blanket she brought over. Since San’s room was… struggling in the colour department, Nabi had made it her mission to add some brightness to it. She decided to place the purple blanket on San’s gaming chair. She was so busy staring at her new addition to the room that she didn’t notice San entering the room.

He was shocked to see someone in her room, but upon noticing it was her — her red hair gave her away — he smiled softly. He dropped the towel that he was using to dry his hair on the floor, walking to Nabi with purpose before wrapping his arms around her.

Nabi made a squeaking noise because of how sudden and strong San’s hug was. “Hi,” she said, turning around in his arms.

“Hi,” he replied. His eyes flickered over her shoulder, seeing the blanket on his chair as she chuckled lightly. “Did you know that every time you come over, you end up leaving something behind?”

She shrugged. “I don’t think you understand just how plain your room is. There’s only so much I can do.”

“But it’s purposely monochromatic,” he sulked.

“Yeah, but, like… it’s boring,” she weakly argued, still in San’s hold. “I just added a little colour to it, that’s all.” He continued to sulk until Nabi poked his cheek. “You’re not happy to see me?”

San picked her up, spinning her around twice as she wrapped her legs around his waist. She rested her head in the junction between his neck and shoulder, feeling the dampness of his hair and smelling the freshness of his body wash.

“I’m the happiest when I get to see you,” he told her when he had put her down. “So, what are you doing here?”

“We won’t be able to spend your birthday together, so I figured we could celebrate it early.” She pulled out of his arms, walking the few steps to his bed to retrieve her bag. She plopped herself on the floor, crossing her legs and looking up at him as she waited for him to do the same. Opening the bag, she pulled out a medium sized container. “I tried to make sure the icing didn’t smudge, but I don’t know if I succeeded.” She placed the container in front of him before opening it, revealing a homemade cake.

San gasped. “Wah… This is amazing, Biyah!”

“You don’t even know what it tastes like,” she muttered, feeling her cheeks grow warm.

“Just the fact that you made this is amazing.” He pressed a soft kiss to her cheek. “Thank you.”

“Okay,” she said, beginning to feel awkward. She cleared her throat, looking around the room. “Okay.”

“Are you blushing?” He teased, causing her to roll her eyes.

“No, I’m not,” she groaned. “Let me put the candles.” She reached her hand in the bag, pulling out candles and a lighter. She placed the two candles in the centre of the cake, making sure the '2’ and the '4’ were facing the right way. She lit them before quickly scooching away so that she was sitting in front of her boyfriend.

As she sang for him, he stared at her with warm eyes, his face turning slightly red. When she finished, he thanked her before blowing out his candles.

“Thank you, Biyah,” he said when she had returned to his side.

“It’s no problem.” She waved him off before suddenly staring him in the eyes. “Please don’t leave this in your fridge for three months,” she pleaded her boyfriend, who laughed until he realised she was serious.

San scratched the back of his neck. “I'll do my best to make sure it's eaten by two months from now.”

Nabi continued to stare at him, deciding whether she believed him or not. “I'll tell Hongjoong oppa that this should be treated like an official schedule.”

He nodded, pursing his lips. “Should I get us plates?”

“Oh! Yes, please.”

He squeezed her hand before jumping up and leaving the room, returning quickly with two plates, two forks, and a knife. “For you,” he said as he gave her a plate and fork.

“Thank you,” she said when he cut her a slice of cake. She waited for him to cut his slice before taking a bite.

He covered his mouth with his hand as his eyes widened. “This tastes really good, Biyah!”

As they ate their cake, San told Nabi about ATEEZ’s preparations for their upcoming concerts. They were soon going to go to Taiwan for their show on the 8th, and had been practising diligently for it. He had been telling her about a joke Yeosang made during practice when Nabi’s phone vibrated.

She looked down at it and groaned, seeing her alarm going off. “I have to go now. I have dance practice,” she told him as she switched off the alarm. “I have to go now.”

“Okay.” He nodded, trying not to seem too upset. He stood up at the same time as her, threading their fingers together and pulling her closer to him, until their chests were against each other. “Thank you for surprising me.”

“No problem.” She smiled up at him. “I bought you a gift, but I’m so smart that I forgot it at the dorm. I just realised.”

San chuckled, causing Nabi to smile brighter. “That’s fine. Just seeing you was enough.” He pecked her lips quickly.

“Please remember to eat the cake,” she pleaded, her eyebrows curling up cutely.

“I’ll remember to eat the cake, I promise. I’ll even send you photo updates of everytime I eat some.”

“Okay. Now, I really have to go before I’m late,” she sighed, rolling her eyes. Nabi went on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek, but he turned his head, clumsily making her kiss the corner of his mouth. She laughed at how he blushed at his failed attempt. “You failed!”

“I thought I would get the timing right,” San said, closing his eyes in embarrassment. “I’ve never gotten the timing right.”

Nabi reached her hand up, holding his face in her hand. She waited for him to open his eyes before doing anything. “I’m a very unpredictable person, as you’re aware. You’re never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to get the timing right.” She took a step back. And he followed, seemingly stuck in her orbit.

“Maybe I’ll get it right one day.” He shrugged, continuing to follow her until her back was against the door.

“Maybe.” Her eyes dropped to his lips before returning to his eyes, something he noticed.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, stepping closer until there was no space between them. San used his right hand to tilt her head up before slanting his lips over hers, his hand moving to cup her jaw. Her arms wrapped themselves around his neck as his tongue pressed against the seam of her lips. She let out a little noise in response. His grip on her tightened. Her hands slipped between them, gently dragging down until they rested on his chest. San pulled his lips away, instead beginning to trail them along Nabi’s jawline, her hands fisting on his shirt. He moved down her neck and—

Again & Again by 2PM started playing from Nabi’s phone, causing the couple to flinch.

“That’s probably Ari unnie calling to check if I’ve left yet,” Nabi said. Her chest was heaving as she took deep breaths to calm herself down.

“I guess that means you really have to go now,” San joked, resting his head in the crook between her neck and shoulder.

“Yeah.” She rubbed her lips together, trying to centre herself.

San stepped back and Nabi quickly gathered her things, her phone silencing. “I’ll see you… Yeah.” She nodded, giving up on trying to remember when he’d be back in Korea.

“Okay. Drive safe and have a good practice,” he said, walking her out of his room. When they reached the front door, he kissed her once, twice, thrice. “Bye, cupcake,” he murmured, opening the door for her once she had changed into her shoes once more.

“Bye, Sannie. I love you.” She blew him a kiss.

“I love you, too.”

She was about to respond when Again & Again started playing once more. “Hi, unnie,” she greeted when she answered the phone, beginning to walk away from San’s apartment door. “Unnie, I’m–I’m in the– I’m on the road. I can’t text and drive.”

“This is a phone call,” Ari pointed, voice unimpressed.

Nabi blinked her eyes, trying to come up with something to say. “I’m leaving now,” she eventually admitted, pressing the button for the elevator.

“Okay. Sorry to cut your time short.”

“No, it’s fine. At least I got to see him.” When the elevator arrived, she got on it and pressed the ground level. “Thank you for arranging my day so nicely,” she sweetly said.

“You’re welcome. You have thirty minutes.”

“Okay. I love you.”

“You too.”

The second the elevators opened, Nabi speed-walked out of the apartment building. She walked to the car like a woman on a mission — only pausing to take a picture of the moon. She put on her seatbelt and started her car, reversing out of her parking space. She looked down at her phone when it chimed, signalling a text.

Headcannon Time!!! So, Flowey is a jealous boy. He at first hated Martlet, Starlo, and Ceroba for taking Clover from him. He was able to tolerate them for a few hours at most after Clover's death, and about 5 years of just listening to them talk or talking to them for a few minutes. He learned how to play the harmonica for Clover to hear. Clover died 2 days before their birthday...Clover knew they weren't gonna be alive for their 10th birthday...Flowey doesn't do well with the day Clover died or their birthday. He saw how Clover was so calm with dying that he knew something was off, he never asked though and never will. He wants to live in bliss that Clover wasn't dying from the beginning or that Clover chose to die at the first place, because they came down here to save the human souls... Flowey secretly looks up to Sans. Flowey feels the need to give Clover a gift every single birthday for Clover, because they couldn't celebrate it together. Clover told him that he could care less about their birthday...he hates that Clover told him and he wants that thought to leave him alone. He had the most fun in years with Clover that day, it allowed him to feel emotions for the first time in many years...he never felt it again until he saw Clover. He was happy :)

And now the Gusty Gaggle. They were supposed to be named "The Gutsy Gaggle," but they all failed a spelling gutsy, so just went with Gusty. They have some members who join in sometimes, but it's mostly just Flowey, Clover, and Kanako. Clover is the leader, Flowey the brains, Kanako the one to get them out of trouble, when not causing it. They all have matching pins. They reside in the Ghosty South, even though Flowey can stay in Frisk's town, he just won't. They may or may not have thought of starting a band. They will take down Alphys when they see her, Flowey being the one doing most damage.

YEEAHHHH GET HER GUYS!!!! The Gutsy vs Gusty Gaggle is also a lil funny to me because for a bit I thought you misspelled Gutsy and almost called them the Gutsy Gaggle. Only kept it the Gusty Gaggle cause it also works oddly enough.

I always assumed the 'You answered the call' was for the Omega Flowey fight. On the topic of who saved Asriel I always thought it was Chara because that made the most sense to me, since it would explain how they had those memories locked and loaded.

2. What is Flowey's favorite amalgamate?

Been a while since I played pacifist route but I think it'd probably be Endogeny since it is a giant dog. He'd probably play fetch with it to keep his throwing skills from declining just in case he needs to throw something really far one day. He also generally finds it entertaining to watch the dog run around.

3. What's his favorite type of music?

Undoubtedly breakcore, he'd go wild if you turned on breakcore.

4. Will he kill Mettaton if Clover asked him to join them too?

I don't think he'd kill Mettaton if he tried to join the Gusty Gaggle, merely decline because he isn't cowboy enough. But... If Mettaton were to hurt anyone in the group, Flowey would react more violently.

5. Has Clover allowed Flowey to play the harmonica?

Clover does allow Flowey to play the harmonica, it's just that sadly he's very bad at it. This can actually be repurposed into an attack funnily enough! He plays the harmonica in the most grating tone he can until you fess up to the murder.

6. Does Flowey look up to anyone?

Don't tell anyone but it's secretly Sans.

7. What's Flowey's favorite plant?

His favorite plant is an echo flower because they're just like him, they're just like him fr!!!!!

8. Has he ever cared for other fallen humans?

Excluding Chara, nope.

9. Have he and Dalv ever drawn together?

I think Flowey secretly draws things and tries to sneak them into Dalv's storybooks. He's trying to see how long he can do this before Dalv notices he did NOT draw those.

10. Does Papyrus know he's Asriel?

Most likely not, as Papyrus isn't close enough to Flowey for him to really want to tell him such an important thing. Maybe he hints every now and again that he wasn't always a flower, but he doesn't tell him that he was Asriel.

11. Will he get therapy?

Flowey is most definitely getting therapy, though I think it would take a while for him to actually trust said therapist and I think he'd have to switch around a bit.

12. Does he pretend to be Daisy?

For the funny, I think he does. He finds it hilarious that Axis fell in love with a pile of junk and even named it.

13. Will he care for Kanako after the barrier is open?

He says 'welcome to the secretly revived children club!!!' when Kanako gets up and agrees to hide her from her mother because he really, really, really hates Ceroba.

the day was amazing.

it was a saturday, and both yoh and megumi were free from any duties, so you decided to spend the day together. just the two of you, without any distractions. it's been so long since the last time you were able to do something like that.

you felt as if it was your birthday, everything was just so sweet. you started the day by visiting your favourite coffee shop. even megumi seemed to be happier than usual; he was much more talkative, and he showed his soft smile a lot. it made you so happy.

then, you went to the movies. megumi held your hand through the whole film, and you fed him popcorn from time to time. luckily the movie was pretty loud, otherwise the rest of the people would be able to heard your soft laugh as you fed him.

the both of you kept repeating how awesome the day is, and that you should have all day long dates like this more often, whenever you have a chance.

but nothing lasts forever.

after the movies, you decided to end the day with some ice cream. megumi barely managed to pay for both of your orders, when you two heard a loud voice from the other side of the shop.

he was sitting alone in the corner of the ice cream shop, a few empty ice cream cups in front of him signalizing that he's been there for a while.

Minutes pass and they both start walking back to the house, Yoh complaining about how tired he was the whole way back.

He turns to look at you, heading in your direction with a smile while Anna heads inside with the others. "Hey mochi!" He embraced you, resting his head in the crook of your neck. "Why hello to you too my dear. Speaking of, I have a little surprise for you!" You pulled away from him, both your hands behind your back to conceal the gift.

"Tell me, tell me, tell me!!!" He jumped up and down on his heels, not being able to contain his excitement. You tell him to close his eyes and once he does, you pull the charm from behind your back and put it in his hand. "Alright go ahead and open your eyes!" You watched as he looked down at the charm, eyes immediately turning soft and a large smile growing on his face.

You had created a tiny charm of Matamune, making sure every detail was exact from the eyes to the tip of his tail. You knew how much he cherished his friend and you decided to make him something so that he'll know he's always there for him.

He tackled you to the ground, showering you in kisses and one thank you after another. Your shirt got wet from his tears but you didn't mind. "Thank you, thank you, I love it so much you're the best darling!!" "Anytime love."

Let's just say that he's never gone anywhere without it since.

After confiding in Yoh and the others, you decided to do something to cheer him up. With the information you got from everyone, you set out to buy him a gift.

Now comes the hard part, actually giving it to him.

You slowly open the door, stepping inside to find him sitting on the edge of the bed with his back towards you and facing the window.

You slowly make your way towards him, sitting next to him and looking out the window like he was. You then placed the gift in his lap, going back to looking out the window once you did.

You heard him let out a sound of confusion, but nonetheless it made you smile. You heard him open the cute gift bag you used for the gift, followed by the sounds of tissue paper being yanked out the bag.

You turn to look at him, seeing a smile growing on his face. It was a little stuffed bunny, a snow bunny to be exact. Horohoro had gotten you a little wolf plushy for your birthday once, so you figured you'd return the favor.

He looks up a you, all the tension in his body leaving as he wraps his arms around you in an embrace. You didn't need to hear him say anything, you knew he liked it and that he was grateful for the gift.

It was after they'd all finished a round of the tournament, everyone tired and ready to call it a night. You walked in the room to see Ren alone about to head to bed himself. You followed him to his room and stopped him before he entered it.

He turned to you, a slightly annoyed but curious expression on his face. You pulled your hands out from behind you, revealing a small box wrapped with a purple ribbon on it. You handed him the box, a small settling onto your face.

You watched as he slowly unwrapped the gift in an attempt to make as little mess and noise as possible. He didn't want to disturb anyone, after all, he had already dealt with them the whole day and he'd rather not do that now.

He opened the box to reveal a small golden necklace. The necklace was thin and had his name written in cursive. You watched as he pulled it out and examined it, handling it with care as he put it on.

He looked down at his name, admiring the attention to detail and how beautiful it looked. He then turned to look at you, only a small smirk forming on his face as he pulled you close into a side hug, continuing to fidget with the gift.

You both said goodnight and went to your respective rooms, ready to head to sleep. You'd say that was a mission success.

To me, Lyserg isn't someone who's normally used to receiving gifts as he rarely ever got them

He is, however, one of the more outwardly appreciative ones as he doesn't shy from showing his gratitude even if it's a little awkward for him

I feel like after losing what he had, he values gifts a lot, especially yours

Probably also another difficult one to shop for in my opinion because I don't think he talks about himself or his interests too much, wanting to hear yours instead

But he's grateful for whatever you give him nonetheless

You were walking over to the beach were you asked Lyserg to meet you. You had set up a little picnic date for the two of you to help destress and to just spend time with each other.

You walked over to see him sitting on a blanket that he had laid out, turning his head towards you with a smile. You watched as he patted the spot next to him, scooting over to make some room as you sat down. Taking a seat, you handed him the gift bag you had with you, watching as his eyes widened.

"For me..? Really?" he said, shock but genuine appreciation lacing his tone. "Of course, it might not be anything special but there's nothing wrong with giving gifts to those you care about." you say, a smile growing on to your face.

You watched him pull out a f/c hoodie, one that's almost identical to the green one he got you awhile ago. You watched as he slipped it on, examining the sleeves and all the little details on the fabric. You saw him smile, a big and genuine smile. You smiled too, finding the situation a bit funny since you decided to wear the matching green hoodie that day.

You both had a little laugh at the situation, continuing on with picnic as Lyserg said thank you for the gift.

I'm going to assume that given that Joco's blind, he prefers gifts like stuffed animals or small trinkets

That or he just generally prefers gifts that he can feel like maybe clothing or jewelry

Safest option is probably food if you don't really know what to get him

You were in the kitchen, cooking up a surprise for Joco. You heard that he'd participated in the tournament that day, so you wanted to give him a gift when he returned.

Of course, you could've gone out to one of the shops and gotten him something there, but you wanted to do something different given that you didn't have the money or energy to go out anyway. So, you decided to make his favorite snack: donuts.

Do you have any baking or culinary experience? No, but did that stop you? Nope. So, you googled a decent looking recipe and got to work. Sure it took awhile, but it was worth it in the end. They were pretty tasty if you had anything to say about it.

After you finished frying them and whatnot, you finished up by taking off the excess oil and melting some chocolate for the frosting. Was it a lazy move? Probably, but it is what it is.

Once you finished plating them, you heard the door open with Joco and everyone else coming inside. Once everyone got settled in and went off to do their own thing, you found Joco and pulled him into the kitchen.

Before you could hear a single joke come out of his mouth, you shoved a donut into his mouth, grabbed once for yourself and waited as the two of you munched on them. You watched him jump up and down in delight as he finished the donut quickly and practically almost tackled you into a big hug.

You didn't have time to process as he started spewing a bunch of stuff on how it was delicious and how grateful he was, which in turn alerted everyone else and caused them all to try and get a donut for themselves.

You stepped back and watched as Anna handed the situation instead. But you smiled, happy that Joco enjoyed them.

Hao:

As someone who was derived of affection for a VERY long time, he likes it when you give him gifts

He accepts them with pride, always grateful for whatever you give him even if sometimes it's a little stupid

Man's like I said very prideful of what you give him and will wear or display whatever it was you gave him

Likes giving you gifts in return, usually of a greater value than the one you gave him as a way of "returning the favor"

Valentine's day was coming soon and you decided to go shopping to find the perfect gift for Hao. You knew he had a surprise in store for you, so you decided to get him a surprise of your own: a goodie basket.

Although you had trouble remembering, you figured out the basic things that how liked. Favorite color, favorite candy, etc. So, using that information, you searched the local market to find them and put them together into a cute basket for him.

Once you got everything, you spent the next couple days putting it together and making it pretty since you at least wanted it to look nice. Once Valentine's day arrived, you made sure the gift was ready and waited for the perfect time to give it to him.

Hao had taken the two of you to a romantic date under the stars, the two of you under a tree basking in each other's company. You decided now would be the best time to give him the gift, so you told him to wait as you went to retrieve it.

Once you returned, you could see how excited he was. "Oh? For me? Darling you shouldn't have, you being with you is enough for me ~" he said as he kisses the top of your head. You blushed, obviously flustered, and gave him the gift as you took your seat next to him.

You watched as his face turned to one of excitement and curiosity, as he sat there looking through all the different treats you got him, including the big red bear that you found. You watched as his smile grew till he looked up at you and brought you into his embrace.

The next few days he enjoyed and displayed all the little things you gave him, specifically the small golden necklace and rings that you got him. But hey, you didn't mind, he was happy and so were you.

Curious to know your feels about the 1000 Years Old finale. You didn't post much about it. Maybe that's a commentary in and of itself LOL.

Part of the answer is that I struggle with watching things out of my usual schedule and had a very busy weekend so I'm just getting around to actually watching the finale episode after knowing all kinds of spoilers. I am actively writing this response as I watch the episode. So enjoy my live thoughts on your ask.

And, so far, my entire reaction is that they crammed way too much here in the end. They needed to spread this out more than they did and I get parts of it, I like having the soulmates reveal only at the very end...

But there's a lot of plot and seriousness that they just didn't touch on enough and that I think including in the rest of the show would have improved it greatly as well as helping with the pacing struggling most people had.

If more of the Janja plot had been genuinely spread through the show and more of these serious moments and the understanding of their agreement and relationship had started earlier I might care more about this. But I don't care about Janja at all! I just don't! I wasn't given reasons to care until the very end and that's not enough for me.

Also, having Yoh not fight for any of it really did disappoint me but the director of this show, as seen in multiple other shows they've done, seems to have a thing for one very passive character in the main relationship who will just Allow Things To Happen To Them without ever fighting back. And I never like that, frankly.

Yes, they dropped a few hints here and there but it just isn't enough to tie it all together in this show itself.

It's not a bad finale, it's not the worst, but the end of the show feels so rushed compared to the rest and us not getting all the fluffy times together only to be shown a single scene at the end of a long happy life instead of the time together that I want to see.

I like domesticity, not the end of domesticity.

I get why people liked this ending. I see how people who rewatch things, especially, will enjoy the recontextualization of the show.

But for me? It made everything feel rushed and the rest of the show feel almost empty and slightly worse in comparison. Either we needed more plot or less episodes for this to work.

(Every time I see Somchai I am sad we did not get Somchai and Shin. Every single time. Come on. You crammed this much into the final episode, you could have given me more of them somewhere else!)

Also, I love his random bodyguards, whoever they are. Love them.

Also, this year long time skip is stupid.

Seriously, I am deeply frustrated by Yoh literally finding out they're soulmates and then just... completely abandoning Pun and leaving entirely. It's not interesting to see him just give up and it makes him the most passive character ever. Which we also had in I Will Knock You and, frankly, in 2gether. That's just The Style.

JANJA LITERALLY TOLD YOH SHE WAS GIVING HIM PUN BECAUSE PUN WILL NEVER LOVE ANYONE ELSE. Whatever, at least the confession and whole thing is done and now they can be soulmates together.

9 minutes of happy ending is not enough. Absolutely not enough. Yes, it was cute. Yes, it was a happy ending. But it's just not enough and it leaves me wanting more and wishing that the show were paced differently.

(Still sad we couldn't get any more Somchai and Shin, we deserved more.)

Edit Okay, I didn't mention this originally but I actually hate that the soulmate/reincarnation line takes away the power of Yoh's gift to Pun being his first birthday present. It really bothers me because that moment was one of the my favorite moments and the finale just made it not matter at all and turned it into something much less important and takes away a lot of the importance away of Pun wearing the cross and it BOTHERS ME A LOT.
