hii nd I'm still ded (being student is so annoying 😵) but 2 more days then I have Christmas vacations 🤩🤩

nd i just started watching iland nd EVERYTIME EVERYTIME THERE IS AN ELIMINATION OR SCORES ARE GIVEN I FEEL MY HESRT STOPPING ND THEY DID SUNOO DIRTY IN FIRST FEW EPS (IM ON EP7 btw ) BUT NOW I'M HAPPY SUNOO GOT 1ST POISTION IN THE GLOBAL VOTING mans deserved it sm his self esteem :((( he worked so hard nd even tho ik who is gonna debut in still like omg I'm not prepared for this 😭😭 nd Niki my baby he was so suprised when he got in even hanbin also imma go I'm too tired to write even more (I'll send an ask again after 2 days 😁

Ah, I'm not a predebut engene unfortunately. I watched i-land after in 2021 around the Border: Carnival era. My first comeback as Engene was Dimension: Dilemma. The Heartbreak tiktok that they made is what made me curious then I was hearing Fever everywhere so I decided to look into the group and that's how I am here now...

I watched i-land knowing who was going to be in the group but it still killed me every single time. By the finale I was very much just like let these 9 debut pls, they'll be great don't let any of them go.... Oof I know, the evil edit on K and the whole Jay thing was so frustrating but I had to remember that I was watching after the show had aired so its not like I could really do anything anymore.

I think i-land is a good watch for any engenes that are interested in seeing the groups beginning, I love seeing how those bonds made there are flourishing now and it makes me so happy that they can all laugh and joke about i-land now which considering how stressful the process must have been is just good for me.

A Summoner Birthday

Special Quest: Yule

This place is so charming. I know I've been here, but it gets me everytime.

And this best part is, you didn't have to fall under a spell to come here this time.

You brought Yule to the virtual fairytale world for some fun.

Yule: I'd like to go to that field. The one me and Zao were in. I hope its snowing there this time.

Lupin: I don't know about that, but okay, let's go.

With that, you and Yule head off to the field near the mountains.

A little while later, you and Yule arrive at the mountains without fail.

Lupin: Okay, we're here. So why would you- (surprised) Oh my!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Lupin: I didn't think you would change into that.

Yule: I just wanted to bring a little Holiday Magic to this world to see what it's like. The field seems like the perfect setting.

Lupin: I guess we can do that. Since you're already in your Santa coat, can I be your reindeer?

Yule: I don't see why not. Go for it.

Lupin: Okay. Hey, Kurogane, do you think you can give us a sleigh?

Kurogane's Voice: One sleigh on the way!

Then, a Christmas sleigh appears before us. Then, you find yourself in a reindeer suit. You go to the front of the sleigh and take hold of handle while Yule takes the reins.

Yule: (excited) Are you ready?

Lupin: (also excited) Ready!

Yule: Then away we go!

With that, you start to pull the sleigh and you and Yule are off.

For a long time, you and Yule visit almost every part of the virtual fairytale world delivering presents. Some people were a bit confused on why you were delivering presents when it was not even Christmas, but loved the presents none the less. You and Yule had such a great time.

After you and Yule delivered that final gift, you return to the field where it was now night.

Yule: Phew, that was a ride!

Lupin: (panting) Ri- Right. I've never... had such a... workout.

Yule: Let's rest a bit. You deserve it.

You and Yule sit down on a nearby rock. You both just stare at the moon, admiring its radiant light.

Lupin: We sure had fun today, didn't we?

Yule: You bet. This just makes me look forward to when Christmas actually does come.

Lupin: I wonder what you will be his year. A Reindeer or a Santa?

Yule: I'm not sure. It can be confusing sometimes when you want to be both.

Lupin: I'm sure that no matter what role you play, you'll do great. It's one of the things that make you so lovable, Yule. You always think of others first and you're always so giving. You never complain when others can be demanding, Tanngrisnir can vouch for that. And you have very big dreams and will do anything to achieve them.

Yule: I'm happy to hear that from you, Lupin. With how you always show kindness to others, you could make a great Santa yourself. But also have the strength and fortitude of a Reindeer. (laughing a bit) I guess I'm not the only one who might have a future as both. I can see why Ded and Tanngrisnir love you so. You're really a nice person.

Lupin: Thanks, Yule. You're such a good friend. Ryota and the others are lucky to have you as a boyfriend.

Yule: (happy) You're welcome, Lupin. And thank you.

You both hug each other tightly, warm despite the snow around you, and knowing that friendship is the best gift you can each other any day of the year.

After finishing your rest, you both make your way back to Candyland to return home.

They'd always gotten presents for each other.  Started sometime after that oyster thing in Rome.  Little things, casually given when love fancy struck. Christmas had always been yet another excuse to do so, even more lavishly, after all it was hardly out of place to exchange gifts on that particular morning.  But they'd never celebrated like this. With a proper tree and decorations... and... together.  Without fear of what Heaven or Hell would say.

The first gift, reverently opened, was met with wide eyes.  The leaves were beautiful – Maple, oak, poplar, and a myriad others, preserved in their flame-hued glory.  Long fingers brushed over the delicate foliage, tracing the curved edges of each in turn.  It was Aziraphale's handiwork, he realized.  There was a warm and familiar sensation that lingered over them, a gentle energy that buzzed softly beneath the pads of his fingers.  

   “These... they're beautiful, angel.”  Some were beginning to crack (as was his voice), but if Crowley had anything to do with it, they'd hold themselves together. Don’t you dare crumble, you’ll regret it.   Hold yourself together.  It was directed as much at himself as the leaves.  Crowley sighed.  As much as he wanted to linger on each and every page of preserved foliage, there were even more packages piled beneath the sharp-scented boughs. He set the book carefully down by his side, selecting another pair of cheerily-wrapped gifts.

The next two packages were of a more expected nature.  Sure enough, there was the winter wear.  The thick weave spread the same faint, sunlit warmth through his fingertips.  Aziraphale had made these, too.  Crowley swallowed down the mantra trying to worm its way into his thoughts, you don't deserve this, you don't deserve him, he's too good for you... his heart swelling in his chest even as they words formed.  The material felt supple, though not scratchy, providing enough insulation to help trap what little warmth his lean body created on its own. They were such simple little things, and yet... He'd prefer them to any riches.

   “You... You made these?  For me?”  The first set was trying very hard to not be tartan, and he couldn't help but grin.  It was his colors, at least. Even if it had been the blessed pattern, there was no way he'd ever be able to say no to it.  Despite being inside, protected from the December chill outside, Crowley promptly wrapped the scarf around his neck, nuzzling the fuzzy material, breathing in its scent.  He’d wear it until it disintegrated.  Boots and black dress socks were promptly discarded, replaced with the cheery red and green of the new pair, made just for him.  “I knew you had many talentsss.”  He couldn't hide the hiss, or the quaver in his voice.  You don't need to.  Not now.  Not ever.

      His inner voice could never seem to make up its mind.

There were more presents still.  He decided to pretend his fingers weren't shaking as he picked up the next, smaller, box.  He wore jewelry, if there was a piece that caught his eye.  It was often serpentine in nature, of course, but celestial themes were a very close second.  And these.... He held the pair up, the metal catching the light to reflect it back, as if for a moment they were the real thing, sparkling somewhere out in the winter sky above London.  His constellations... 

He swallowed thickly, holding them to his thin chest.  It was about the only thing he could so, since his voice had left him.  They're perfect, you're perfect.  I want to show you them, someday.  The real thing. He could feel the pinprick of tears at the edge of his eyes, and his glasses were nowhere to be found.  Curse them.  He blinked.  You don't need them.  Not here, not with him.  You’ve never needed them here and you know it.  

Crowley pressed himself closer to Aziraphale, silently turning to nuzzle his neck. He smelled like sunshine and books, wine and chocolate.  Like safety, like home.  His heart, pounding against his ribs like a trapped beast, began to calm. The tears still threatened to fall, but he refused to let them.  Demons didn't cry. 

     “Thank you, angel,” he breathed, once he was able to summon his voice back.  “They're amazing.  Incredible.”  He hissed a sigh against the blond's pale skin.  “It'sss more than I could have ever asked for.  You are... wonderful, my angel.”  He was more than wonderful.  There weren’t words enough for it.  Did he know that?  Did he realize?  Did Aziraphale know, gifts or not, that he was everything?  There was one more gift, a tiny thing that radiated importance.  Crowley reached for it, settling back against Aziraphale as he opened it slowly.

            Ironically, it was a key.  

Aziraphale would find one of his own, in another small box tucked beneath the tree's boughs.  Crowley held the cool, aged metal in the palm of his hand, staring.  It was too small to be the door key.  No, this one was to something even more personal.  He knew the case upstairs, had gotten a small lecture on its importance to Aziraphale.  

   “Y-you really want me to have this?”  His gaze shifted from the item in his palm to Aziraphale's face, bathed in a halo of holiday lights. He knew how much that case meant to the angel. And... The metaphor wasn’t lost on him.  This gesture, more than any other, was plain as day.  

          You’re holding the key to my heart in your hands.  

Perhaps the most treasured physical item the angel had ever possessed, and he was offering it freely to a demon.  Crowley shook his head, the dampness at the edge of his serpent's eyes spilling over.  Betrayed by his own bloody corporation.  He collapsed against Aziraphale's side, long fingers curling over the precious key, free arm sliding around the angel's torso to pull him close. 

        “I'll keep it sssafe,” he whispered.  “Guard it... you.. with my... everything.  'Sss'a promise.”

Ok, I'm an absolute simp for Tanngrisnir and the Battle of Bells Ikebukuro Christmas Event just increased my love for him a thousandfold!! (●♡∀♡)✨✨ Truth to be told, I drew this before the night of the release of the said Event so I'm just!!!! Happy!!!!✨✨✨✨ Ded Moroz out there really be giving my early Christmas present 🖐️😔❤️✨

In this piece, I drew a cough cough towel only adorned teacher because I felt that LW did him dirty from not giving him a sauna skin variant for Mystic Christmas Event which would actually showcase his tiddies that was hidden away in his tracksuit skin variant-

Same reason as the previous piece!!! I think I did Yoritomo dirty in this one considering I had an art block that time and just wanted to draw someone and why not the new characters from CHP 11? There's a full picture for this but I decided to not include it in since haha anatomy went brrrr-

This was done in the real early months in 2020 and you can tell the improvements I have now!! And yes!! This piece was the first of me drawing Tanngrisnir, there's some errors how it looks stiff and him looking like he's not really going to kick with determination so I'll try to redraw this soon and give it a more oomph to it and it'll be good! Really loved this piece and making the spinning wheels was already a pain to draw-

Not to flex but- I'll be flexing here because I don't have enough artwork of Housamo characters yet so everyone have to deal with seeing my bestie's artwork presents drawn for yours truly! ✨✨

This was from the art challenge that we did together and the pose reference was from a Chinese Romcom movie called Love At First Kiss (it's so comedic that it's frustrating-) and if I have the time, I'll try to post more of her presents she's done for me because her art is just 😤👌✨✨✨❤️❤️!!!

Here's a little progress work I'm doing right now which is my take on the Exiles and the first of it would Euryome, The Exile from Olympus!

Excuse the really messy sketch since lining the art would take time so I decided to fill out the colours first so I don't have to make my head spinning thinking about what colour to put it with- But I'm really happy how it turned out, especially the water! Which happened to be an accident but nonetheless looks pretty good! This work in progress is actually done during 2021 but you'll see why I included it in✨

THIS was the first design of Eurynome which I done in 2020, now flipping through the papers, I saw this piece (while disrespectfully looking away at the very terribly drawn Ophion which you guys can see half of it-) and wanted to redraw it and so I did!

Somehow, the design was toned down, with the rope rings and horns especially. What I had in mind for the first design was how Ophion was her spouse who is also by chance a dragon kind thus I had implemented the horns.

The revamped version however was more to showing the fluidity of the clothes which was taken from how Eurynome is an Oceanid that Iived in the waters so I wanted something that wouldn't be too heavy looking and went something with more simpler and lighter adornments

So there you have it! The end of the Sketch Dumps from 2020 has come to an end! The next series would be Sketch Dumps from 2021 that will be posted from time to time so please do anticipate it!! Thank you to everyone who had liked this and reblogs are very much appreciated!!

Are you up for the new event? I'm so happy that Ded got a new alt, fresh new look of summer santa!

The problem is now there's 3 Christmas banners I need to roll in. I need Ryota, Aegir, and now Ded. Granted I was rolling on this banner anyway since new character and I need bonus event drops, but it has a character I WANT.

Honestly I should just drop the fight for Christmas Ryota and ask if anyone has him on their support. That would make my life a whole hell of a lot easier.

Say beauty, since you've read so many books do you have a favorite Christmas story? I'm trying to understand humans and humans holidays play a strong role in day to day life. Can you believe children stay nice all year because there afraid the over lord, Santa, will not give them a present? Also happy holidays.

Oh dear—I don’t think I can narrow down to a single favorite Christmas story. Certainly A Christmas Carol is near the top of my list; a story of yuletide redemption, and with it Charles Dickens illuminated so much of what have become cherished Christmas traditions in western culture. The Gift of the Magi by O.Henry, for the selflessness that true love engendered in the young couple. The Greatest Gift by Philip Van Doren Stern, a story that inspired the film It’s a Wonderful Life. Dr.Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (another tale of redemption), and the Christmas comic strips of Charles Schulz, from which arose A Charlie Brown Christmas. 

What I love most about the later two is their reminder that Christmas doesn’t come from a store. That Christmas, in fact, means a whole lot more.💚 

Now, where I was raised, I’d have to say that Santa was never the motivation for me and my siblings and cousins and friends to stay nice all year.  Being ‘good’…nice…well behaved…considerate of others…was a way of life, done so because we were taught it was the right way to behave, and not because we wanted the reward of toys that Santa promised. The beauty of Santa Claus/St.Nicholas/Father Christmas/Kris Kringle/Pere Noel/Babbo Natale/Ded Moroz was the understanding that there was a kindhearted, generous being who gave us presents out of simple selflessness and benevolence, and the love of bringing joy to others, especially children.

Santa Claus was–for me and mine–a figure that was the promise of unconditional love, at a time of year when we celebrate the coming of Heaven’s unconditional love into our world in the form of the newborn Christ-child. And Santa becomes an inspiration to us as we move into adulthood, and play that cycle out, not only with our wee ones, but on a charitable scale.

And so, thank you for the holiday wishes, @ask-the-great-loki-odinson – in my faith, we celebrate the Christmas Season, which like the song, lasts the twelve days of Christmas. While some people quickly discard their evergreen decorations with the crumbled wrapping paper from Christmas morning gifts, I’ll still be singing the carols...

...and lighting the candles and indulging in all the delicious dishes that are part of this beautiful season. A season of light and warmth to defy the darkness and cold of winter.

Ded: Well, as long as we don't stay too long.

Lupin: Don't worry, Kurogane has a timer to make sure we leave on time. And this is virtual reality, so time in the real world pretty much stopped.

Ded: I hope you're right.

You managed to convince Ded to take some time off from the Santa School to spend the day with you. You decide to take him to the virtual fairytale world.

Ded: (impressed) But there's no denying, this place is really great. If only we had something like this for our next Christmas display. It's enough to make me feel so warm inside. So joyful. So... So...

So jolly! Thank you, Lupin, for bringing me here, today.

Lupin: (a bit surprised, but happy) You're welcome.

Ded: I heard from Krampus that there's a beach near the home of the dwarves. I would like to see that while we're here.

Lupin: Okay. Consider it an early Christmas present to you.

And so, you and Ded go to the dwarves' house near the beach.

You both arrive at the cottage. The weather and the sea are a beautiful as ever.

Ded: (happy) Ho ho ho! This is really wonderful. Kurogane really outdid himself.

Lupin: And Boogeyman. This is his creation, too.

Ded: That's true. He deserves the credit, as well.

Lupin: So, now what? You thinking what I'm thinking?

Ded: I know a lot about others, you included... And I guess we can do that, too... I wonder if they also remembered to put in swimsuits.

Lupin: They did.

Ded: (glad) Wonderful. Let's get changed in the cottage.

You and Ded go into the cottage to change into your swimsuits.

(inhaling deeply) The air here is so sweet. It's hard to believe that everything here is just 1s and 0s.

Same here. It's really a dream come true.

Ded: (happy) Ho ho ho! I'm glad we agree. Let's go in. Let's see who can swim the farthest.

Lupin: I've improved on my swimming thanks to Ryota. Are you sure you can keep up?

Ded: I'm sure I can. I'm just as much a good swimmer as he is.

Lupin: (laughing) You're on!

Ded: Ho ho ho! Okay. Ready? Set. Go!

You and Ded both jump into the sea and swam far out into it as fast as you can go. You look ahead and you see Ded has already passed you.

Lupin: (thinking) Wow. He wasn't kidding. He really is a good swimmer. Here's hoping Ryota's lessons pay off.

You then do a butterfly swim. You find yourself slowly catching up to Ded. He notices you are now next to him.

Ded: I see. Ryota's taught you well... I guess I better step it up.

FLASH

Dash away! Dash away, all!

Ded began to go even faster. You try your best to keep up with him. Before you two knew it, you were so far out at sea, you could barely see the land.

Ded: (proudly) Ho ho ho! Looks like we have a tie!

Lupin: (panting) Looks like it.

Ded: (changing back to his "jolly" self) We should head back now. I think we've earned ourselves a break.

Lupin: Yes, let's... Do you think you can help? (siring) I think I have a cramp.

Ded: I'm sorry. Just hold on to me tightly.

You hold on tightly to Ded as he does the swimming for the both of you back to shore.

You make it back to the cottage where you're resting on a chair while Ded went to get a snack.

Snack time! Here you go.

Ded lays tray of milk and cookies before you.

Ded: I know it's a little cliché, but it's the perfect all-around snack there is.

Thank, Ded. This looks good.

Ded sits next to you as you both enjoy the setting sun.

Ded: How's your leg?

Lupin: It's gotten a lot better, thank you.

Ded: I'm glad. This is such a good sight. It really is like a dream here.

Lupin: Makes you wish you could stay.

Ded: Wouldn't that make my Christmas. But, we all have to get back to reality at some point.

Lupin: I know.

Ded: But don't worry, the feeling we have right now, we can take with us. So when things get us down, we just think of this moment and we'll feel better.

Lupin: That's good to hear.

Ded gets closer to you.

Ded: But I do wish I could stay here.

Lupin: Why?

Ded: (smiling) ... So I could be with you. We rarely see each other outside of the Christmas festivities. I do wish we could see each other more often.

Lupin: I know. Me, too.

Ded: Heck, I wish I could see all of you at times other than Christmas. I bet I would love to spend a lot of time with Wakan Tanka.

Lupin: I'm sure he would. He would want all of us to spend more time together. We shouldn't have to limit ourselves to just certain holidays.

Ded: I know. Though I do find it curious.

Lupin: What is?

Ded: That would would want to be with me? And old man such as myself. I know you have a few in your circle, but me? I'm probably as old as I can be.

FLASH

Wouldn't you rather have a younger man? Someone stronger and more handsome? Someone you can really depend on when the time comes?

You smile and wrap your arms around Ded.

Lupin: Ded Moroz, I love you no matter what age you are. And I'm sure Wakan and the others would say the same thing.

Ded: (back to jolly mode) You mean it? Or are you just trying to butter me up so I would get you something really good this year?

Lupin: (laughing) You bet I am.

Ded: And... What is it you want from me this Christmas?

Lupin: ... You.

Ded: (happy) In that case, there's something I would want from you for Christmas?

Lupin: And what could I possibly get Santa Clause for Christmas?

Ded: (smiling) ... To let me join your Guild.

You and Ded embrace each other happily as you both watch the sun sink further into the sea.

Night fell and you and Ded decide it's time to go home. After getting changed, you make your way back to Candyland and back to the real world.
