It's my birthday I can do what I want

And since it's also Tails' birthday I decided to put him in Fortnite.

I mostly do 2D stuff, but @/Schollidazed on Twitter provided Sonic Rush rigs for the public a bit ago and I thought they'd be perfect for this.

There were a couple of posts that inspired this too, most of all this one from @/RikardishoGafo on Twitter that is SO good. They made a concept sheet. It's amazing.

Another person who had this 'two brothers in a trenchcoat' idea was @suieel's top tier post here.

Anyway I've never played Fortnite how'd I do?

Well... it's not exactly a group hug, @d3lly1000, but it's the closest I could get while also having Knuckles noogie Tails as Anon requested--which I 100% wanted to do as well!

Thank you for the suggestions, everyone! You all had some really great ideas. I hope you liked the drawings I put together for them. Maybe I'll make this a yearly thing for the anniversary cos it was a lot of fun!

Totally not me manifesting the headcanon that Sonic & Tails Wachowski share the same birthday since they're voice actors do.

So, picture this: tomorrow is Sonic's birthday and everyone is getting ready to celebrate. But then Sonic notices Tails looking a little sad off to the side.

He asks, "Hey, what's wrong buddy?" Tails shrugs it off, saying it's no big deal. But Sonic, being the way past cool brother that he is, insists on it.

Tails finally tells him that his birthday is also on the same day as well, and he's had no one to celebrate it with.

You hear that? That's the sound of Sonic's tears.

So, Sonic immediately tells Tom, Maddie, and Knuckles about it and they are all freaking out because how could they not have known about their baby's birthday??

A few quick rushes out of the house and everything is ready for tomorrow.

Tails wakes up the next day only to find his brothers are nowhere to be found. As he flies down from the attic, the house is strangely quiet.

He comes into the kitchen for breakfast and is suddenly jumpscared by everyone shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" with a cake, balloons, presents, everything.

Tails is shocked seeing that his family went out of their way to celebrate his birthday. What about Sonic's birthday? It's his big day too, right?

Sonic pulls Tails into a half-hug, declaring that they are "birthday bros!"

Everyone is cheering and celebrating and Tails can't stop the tears from falling down his smiling cheeks.

Best birthday ever.
