The Fall Guy Review

Finally! Smth actually good this year!

Dune 2 was great yes, and it still is. But Fall Guy is my favourite movie this year

I wanna point out before I start that I left the cinema thinking Colt's name was Colin and that shows how fucking horrible I am with characters and their names in movies and any form of entertainment. I suck

Anyway, the writing for the movie, whilst not the main focus of the movie, was great. A perfect mould of taking the piss out of itself and having heartfelt moments that meant smth. A fun day out with a fun movie jam packed with action and suspense. Helped largely by having the main character be a stuntman so the action can be uber and super by just being a part of his routine. Having Colt be a stuntman for the movie and in real life be trying to uncover this missing actor mystery was genius and I love the creativity that went into this idea

The cast was spot on, the chemistry was electric and it was funny, light hearted and entertaining end to end. Each actor gave it their all

A must watch of 2024 from me, watch it if you haven't!
