Namely that we really should have ended the flashback when WWX fell.#And then gone back to present time for a bit - or even go to a different flashback.#The sense of time passing isn't as strong as it *could* be.#We get *told* three months pass and that they've been looking for WWX. But to the audience it's been...15 min.#Less than seven minutes if you count the flute playing.#This guy when through a whole aesthetic and persona shift in less time than it takes to walk through a corn field.#Guy who listened to less than half an emo album and dyed all his clothes black. And jorted all his jeans.#Timeskips can be sudden and work out just fine! I personally feel like this one would be stronger with better pacing.#Feel free to disagree with me!#In case anyone is wondering why JC and LWJ are still holding hands: 1) Haunted house episode.#2) I needed to practice drawing hand holding at some point. Might as well get the rough and sloppy ones out with these two.

#bioshock 2 #subject delta #johnny topside #the face mask thing was meant to be like.#so he cant turn his head while the helmet is on #and i was thinking about what delta's got under his suit #and i figured that the early models (like himself) would have a layer of padding underneath #the straps on his limbs/hands/fingers are like. anchor points for his suit to latch onto #so things dont slide around in battle or while welding #and then i put him in inconspicuous civilian clothing #nobody will suspect a thing #7 ft tall man and his hoard of daughters dressed in a trench coat only speaks whale #most normal guy on the block everything's fine #the guy next to trench coat delta is there for scale. but im not sure what i was scaling tbh #the faces are the old designs #ill get around to sharing the newer ones eventually

Folks I can't overstate the comedy potential of having all the smpshipping tags blocked but clicking through anyways like a lift the flap book. Are you going to see homoerotic murder? Remind me to at some point do something about that ficlet i have knocking around in my head where ulixes surprise-visits steban at his mom's place during semester break and steban gets extremely flustered about it

#posts by me #this would be early in their friendship #they met each other in the last semester and instantly clicked but it's all still new. uli hasn't even realized he has a crush yet #he's staying with his parents and they're distant and disinterested and he misses talking to his new friend #and hey steban did give him his family's address ''for emergencies'' and urgently needing to talk theory is an emergency!!#so he heads to villalobos. has the door opened by steban's mom. all very yes hello can my friend come out to play #he's led out back to a little community garden that some people in the apartment block manage together #steban's there helping out bc he's on break. he's in his oldest shittiest gardening clothes. there's dirt on his hands #and mud on his bare feet. uli looks at him in the sunlight and thinks ooohh. i am IN LOVE with you #then steban sees him and is like OH NO. he's not supposed to see me without my nice academic getup #now he'll think [mesque stereotype] [mesque stereotype] [mesque stereotype]#and meanwhile uli's thinking wow he is the most beautiful being to ever exist i want to be communist lovers with him #cue uli sitting in the kitchen with lemonade while steban has a whispered argument with his mom outside #all ''muuuums why did you just let him IN HERE i'm not even properly DRESSED'' and his mom is all oh you want to impress the boy huh?#you want to look nice for the boy? 😏#and steban (blushing) is like i want the boy to take me SERIOUSLY as an ACADEMIC #like... this is firstie steban. he's still grappling with the whole 'poor kid in a college environment' thing #he hasn't yet learned to simply own it. he's probably trying to suppress his accent when he's on campus. and uli might even be middle class #(!!!)#and like he's not Ashamed of where he's from. his family's great. he... doesn't Hate being mesque. he's not sure yet how it all squares w #his brand-new communist beliefs. where he belongs and what he defines himself as #but he knows this: he does kinda want to impress ulixes. it just feels right to have him around #so he's just very very flustered and confused and trying to act nonchalant about it #steban's mom after fighting tooth and nail for it eventually gets uli to call her by her first name

I got the pedal I've been lusting over for a year in the mail today and it's beautiful

#i bought a used one so i figured it would just be loose #but it came with the original box a poster with instructions and settings to try on the back #and the pedal itself is in a cloth bag with the company's logo (hand?)printed on it #not a screen print it looks like someone carved a block and printed it by hand #very nice and thoughtful packaging and the pedal itself looks brand new and it beautiful and i cant fucking wait to try it later #pp
