by the time they were finished, you were dressed in a simpler gown of rough-spun fabric, a far cry from the silks you were used to and had imagined for your wedding night. the older of the two handed you a wooden cup filled with a thick, bitter scented liquid. she pointed to it, then your mouth, her expression stern. reluctantly, you sipped it, grimacing at the taste. the woman nodded, seemingly satisfied, before they left you alone in the tent.

your eyes flickered between them, their crinkled foreheads making you feel sick to your stomach as their words wrung your heartstrings. "marriage is sacred... it can only happen once. i don't know this person that you'd like me to be bound to for the rest of my life..." you snarled, stating the very obvious to those expired raisins.

"i'm afraid you misunderstood us, girl," the eldest fumed, weakly slamming his fist down, "it is arranged. you will wed the heir of the barbarian clan. that is why you have been summoned." firmly raising from his seat to intimidate you.

he huffed, combing a hand through his hair before pointing at you and then gesturing to the pallet of furs in the corner of the tent. his tone suggested he was giving you an order. when you didn't move, he groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"leggjask. sofa." he barked, his frustration very much evident. when you still didn't respond, he crossed the space between you in two long strides, grabbing your wrist and pulling you to your feet. the roughness of his grip made you wince, but he didn't seem to notice as he guided you toward the furs. he pointed again, his expression leaving no room for argument.

you hesitated, thinking that maybe he wanted you to lie down, and slowly you lower yourself onto the makeshift bed. he stood over you for a moment, his intense gaze making your skin prickle, before he turned and left the tent without another word.

you let out a shaky breath, your heart pounding in your chest. you were alone in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by strangers who you couldn't even get to know, married to a man you didn't understand. tears pricked at the corners of your eyes with the overwhelming thoughts, but you blinked them away, refusing to let yourself break down on your wedding night.

the two women that cleaned you up earlier came back with him, and they began to remove his furs. you quickly averted your eyes, feeling a heat crawling up your neck, as the thought of them removing more than just his cloak tainted your mind.

he blinked, mildly confused, before a smirk tugged at his lips. "Katsuki," he said, his voice low and rough. he tapped his chest, meeting your eyes again. "Kat-su-ki," he repeated, in the same manner you pronounced yours, ensuring you understood.

"Ka-tsu-ki…" you tested the name on your tongue, the unfamiliar syllables feeling oddly satisfying. his smirk widened slightly, pleased that you had caught on.

you nodded, offering a small smile in return, then gestured to yourself again. "my name is…" you repeated your name slowly once more, hoping to bridge the language barrier. his brows furrowed, lips moving as he attempted to mimic the unfamiliar sounds. his effort was clumsy but endearing, and you couldn't help the small laugh that escaped you.

his frown deepened at your amusement. he murmured your name under his breath a few more times, his pronunciation improving with each attempt, until he finally said it with enough accuracy to make you grin.

"that's right!" you cheered softly, nodding in approval.

he held your gaze for a moment longer, his expression unreadable, before his hand came up to gently brush against your cheek. his touch was surprisingly tender, his calloused fingers rough against your skin, but warm.

"sofa," he murmured again, his tone softer this time. he gestured toward the furs, his crimson eyes watching you closely.

you hesitated, unsure if he was commanding you or simply suggesting something. this is it. you thought, heart racing, as you slowly nodded, giving him a glance over your shoulder, before crawling onto the makeshift bed.

he stood for a moment, watching as you adjusted yourself among the furs, before he joined, sinking beside your head with his weight on his palms, caging you in under him. his hair fell beautifully over his narrow, glowing eyes, his nose brushing against yours as he lowered to your quivering lips, sucking them between his, tugging at your plump bottom lip with his teeth.

footsteps thumping right outside your tent made your heart race, thinking someone was coming, but he didn't stop, nor did he care, he hiked up the thin fabric of your dress, his large hand caressing your upper thigh as he shed the leather covering his— good god... you look down and your eyes widened. he smirked and hooked the strap of your dress with a finger to pull it down, and expose your heaving chest.

"Katsuki!" the blonde woman from earlier yelled, barging into the tent, "Tak hendur þínar af henni, þú þarft at vera við ráðsafn. núna!"

"För Guðs sakar, kona!" he yelled back, moving himself off you to sit. he looked up at her worried frown... "Ek kem..." you had no idea what was happening... eyes darting between them as their words flowed out of their mouth and their hands moved in frustration as they spoke.

katsuki looked back at you, a worried expression overtaking the lustful one he had mere seconds ago. he kneeled down kissed you, then threw on his cloak and left. the woman rested a comforting hand on your shoulder, gently smiling before she too headed out, leaving you alone, following behind your husband.

Taehyung peeks over your shoulder, eyes glued to Jungkook’s face. Jimin and Eunji in front of you stare at the scene with their knowing expressions but they clearly don’t understand what’s happening cause no one knows the full version of the story. And Jungkook suddenly feels his stomach close up and his breath stuck as he looks at you.

«You- why… I can’t do this,» he shakes his head and brings his hands to his lap «I’m going out for a minute»

His chair chimes strident as he slides it backwards, and a second later he’s walking towards the door of the restaurant with his hands by his sides and everyone looking at him. You don’t seem to remember how to breathe for a bunch of seconds.

«Oh, fuck» Jimin brings his hands on his hair, tugging at them nervously. Eunji gulps down her food, eyes on the empty spot beside you, Taehyung looks over at the door, Namjoon breathes in nervously and Jin and Hana look each other with eyes that seem to communicate words that you don’t grasp simply because you aren’t looking anywhere but at Jungkook’s dish, his chopsticks laid on the brims.

Yoongi clears his throat, looks over at her girlfriend, Hoseok peeks at you and a second later you’re storming out of the restaurant with their eyes on you and yours already trying to see Jungkook from the glass of the door.

Levi can be persuasive when he wants to be. With all the waterworks and whining about how he's just a pathetic yucky otaku, and how he only has his waifus and husbandos on his side, you can't help but be gentle with him.

However, the constant talks about how his precious Ruri-chan will never be as apathetic towards him as you leaves you more and more disconcerted. One would expect someone who demands absolute devotion and attention to give the same in return. That thought might have been the only positive attribute you had associated with the relationship but even that was falling apart.

Why were you even together with this guy?

You were having a bad day. A horrible one, really. You felt insecure and invalidated and burnt out. A day off would be absolute heaven in the middle of the Hell you lived in.

"Levi," you called out from outside, hoping to be pampered and loved. Was that a lot to ask from your boyfriend?

"Hana Ruri-chan is the cutest!" you heard from inside.

You waited. When no answer followed, you sighed, realised that he must have headphones on so you entered the room with the spare key he had given you.

Without further comment, you tiptoed to him, a little excited about the little prank you were about to play. You checked to see if he was in the middle of a game so as not to interrupt at a crucial point. Everything looked fine so you took his headphones off gently and shouted, "Surprise, Levi!"

He gasped and turned around with fury in his eyes. Snatching his headphones from your hands, he said vehemently, "Do-Don't you ever do th-that again!"

You took a step back on realising that the stutter was not a byproduct of anxiety but of rage. He was so blinded that he could not speak coherently.

You felt your anger rising too. Why should you be treated like this? Standing up as straight as possible, you said, "Why? How was my action wrong?"

He got up so quickly that the gaming chair fell sideways on the floor with a loud thud.

"I was on a call with a gamer and I was telling them why Ruri-chan IS amazing! It had only been an hour or so. I was right in the zone. Why did you have to interrupt me? You always ruin everything! I can't have fun with you around!"

You fought the tears that threatened to spill at the burn of his words. Was that all you meant to him? Did you add no joy to his life? When was the last time that he had paid you a compliment half as sweet as that?

"Okay, fine," you said slowly, not looking at him, afraid that the look of disgust or whatever was to come would hurt you like a knife. "If that is all you feel about me, I will let you have your fun from now onward. I won't ruin anything for you. I am breaking up with you. I will do my best to not let you be aware of my existence."

He looked shell-shocked. Being as familiar with his expressions as you were, you had no difficulty in catching on to his line of thought.

"Oh yes, you heard me right, Levi. I am b-r-e-a-k-i-n-g u-p with you, after all. A break up! Also, since you have made your feelings clear enough, let me get something off my chest too. You really drain my energy, Levi. I wish sometimes you can let it be about me. I have days when I can't babysit you. Well, it doesn't matter. Just. Please just don't show me your face."

"Whaaaa-? H-How could you..." he moaned and looked helpless. "A-A-And that too right before an important gaming marathon? I k-k-know that I am a good-for-nothing shut-in but you wouldn't be so inconsiderate, now, would you?"

You raised your eyebrows and drawled disinterestedly, "I'm sure you'll be fine. You have the power of anime and cute Hana Ruri-chaaaaan on your side, after all."

"I-"

You cut him short with a Ruri figurine. "To prove that I'm not heartless, I will give this to you as a parting gift. This is a limited edition figurine that's not yet out in the market. Satan knew someone on the production team and he pulled in some strings to get this as a favour to me. So here."

You threw it at him and began walking towards the door.

As expected, your boyfriend, or rather your ex-boyfriend, didn't follow you but tried to save the figurine.

"H-H-How dare you do that to Rur-"

Turning towards the door, he flared angrily but realised that he was alone there. Well alone except for his numerous figurines.

If you had expected him to be distracted by the figurine, you were in for a surprise. You had grossly underestimated the extent of his obsession with you.

You see, Levi had always considered you his and when he thought he wanted something, he usually got it. He would spent countless nights without sleep waiting to book a ticket or buy dozens and dozens of products to get one figurine that he already had five of. It made no sense but Levi did not give up easily on the things that he wanted.

When he was defeated, he felt surprised, cursed a little then a lot, whined, was impressed by whoever got their hands on his desired object and then went out to remove their pitiable existence from the bowels of Hell discreetly to get the item.

You are different. You are special.

He wouldn't let you change hands. You were his before and that would remain the case till the day you die. Then he would have your corpse carved out and be refilled so that you could live with him longer. So gorgeous in a Ruri-chan cosplay and no complaints then!

How could you have expected him to let you leave so easily? In a moment of adrenaline rush, he caught the figurine by reflex. Perfectly. Even he was bewildered.

His mind was blank. He knew you were serious. Your face said so quite clearly.

He closed his eyes and lunged at you, hitting you hard with the figurine he had caught.

He was panting by the time your hand grazed the doorknob and you fell down unconscious.

"You will never leave me, [Name]," he said, crying, as he pulled your body towards him. "Oh my Diavolo. You made me ruin the figurine! You can't leave after the sacrifices I have made!"

This Is Not Romantic. ick feeling that it causes him to be more in denial at how close he’s gotten with leo (in the beginning at least , later on kitsune still teases him but he’s more at ease with how him and leo are, so he always jusy goes “ew no im not kissing him dates r gross” but over time she toned it down to more “ooh is someone missing a certain kappa?” kinda teasing rather than “whens the wedding/has your first kiss happened yet lmao/etc” kinda teasing)

idk the last time i did a theory/full lore post on anything since 17 year old me played mystic messenger in 2017 (IN FUCKING PHYSICS!!!!!) but for some reason 14 days with you has been on the forefront of my brain for over a year so. also it's so funny how not into yandere games/dark romance i was years ago but the moment i started college and started reading shit like ACOTAR (not dark romance but like... y'know... rhys...) i am like damn... what if someone was THAT into me me... (this does not include haunting adeline i fucking hate that book)

anyways sorry for the ramble!!!! some fun stuff i have found in the last idk few days of perusing old stuff, new stuff, etc.

Ren's name!

I have been super interested in finding out his name, which i will send guesses sometime to the ask box when i have more as to not spoil anything if i'm right. BUT, i can share everything i have collected! i do know we will know more about him in day 7 possibly but i want to hopefully give some help if anyone wants to guess like me!

so, with this in mind i have a few ideas. it seems the letter "R" is in the fourth position in his name. the letter "E" seems to be at the end of his name. i believe his name may be unisex or possibly more typically feminine, but he was named by his mother after her two friends (which i believe are Teo's relatives). some guesses about the name i have are: i believe his name may begin with an L or F, but this is just a guess i have but i do not believe it begins with a C. either "ren" is in his name altogether or another variation such as rien. but! this is just a theory (matpat... thank u).

2. Ren's hands!

so we know ren has scarred hands from an accident prior to the events of the game before he ran from home. i don't know exactly what caused the scarring, but i believe it was some kind of altercation with his father from the sounds of it. it was said that ren left his mom in absolute hysterics when he left, so i believe there are a few things that could have happened.

i don't know if ren's father would hurt his mother but let's assume he wouldn't, maybe ren was presenting more masculine, talking back to his father, becoming a "threat" towards taylor, who knows! whatever happened, ren got into an altercation with taylor that ended in the scarring. I believe it has something to do with fire, taylor may have been set of fire somehow. maybe taylor wanted to burn the house down. OR, maybe ren tried to burn the house down with taylor in it...

it's possible that taylor may have tried to harm ren's mother that he attempted to save his mom and burn his father/harm his father. whatever happened, hana was not present for this as i believe this is when ren ran away from home IF this is how it happened.

maybe what happened to his hands was much longer before he left. i've seen some questioning that when leon had a birthday party, he invited hana but she did not go for reasons unknown. what this could mean is that something happened WHEN hana still lived there before she was sent off to school. maybe this was when ren got the scars on his hands. maybe taylor tried to harm ren due to him simply being male, maybe it was something else. maybe ren fought back. maybe taylor tried to hurt ren's mother, causing him to be punished by his father. all i know is, ren in an ask has said “I-I didn’t mean to… He— I didn’t have much of a choice…”

a while ago, saint put out this playlist and explained that characters and endings are connected to the songs. from other's guesses and my own curiosity, i went through and did some eliminations and found these to be the most possible to be connected:

i am so out of my mind. but it is so fun to evaluate lore i have always loved doing it and this game itched my brain. i reccommend this game if you're interested in horror and are 18+ then i say check out this game! read the warnings ahead of time, but i find it funky fresh

56 out of 64 spots in the bracket have been filled. List of advancing songs is below the cut.

For the preliminaries, there are 86* songs competing for 8 open spots in the bracket. (again, full list below)

The prelims will be structured as follows:

Part A: *2 songs - a mini pre-preliminary round of sorts between two versions of "Play" by shr - the original Kagamine Rin version vs an UTAU cover featuring Matusdappoiyo, since both versions were submitted. The Winner of this round will participate in part B. (One day long)

Part B: 85 songs - 17 matches of 5 songs, with 1 winner each. I will be releasing 3 or 4 matches every other day to stagger them. Winners of part B will move on to part C. (16 days long)

Part C: 17 songs - 2 matches of 8/9 songs, each with the top 4 songs advancing. Both matches will be released the same day (One week long)

if anyone has any objections to this, or any better ideas, lemme know now, bc that was the best I could come up with. I didnt want the first round of matches to be between too many songs at once, as I felt that would probably be less accurate, and more intimidating so less people would listen to all the songs....... idk

I heard there're cats visiting you every so often! Good for you! Though I do hope they're not peeing on your walls to mark it as part of their territorry or eating the food you left out to cool. But I trust that you have no such issues.

Do you call them by any names yet? If I may be so bold, may I suggest some traditional Czech names? The most popular name for male cats is Macek (M-ah-ts-eh-k) or Macik (M-ah-ts-eek),

which roughly translates to fat or chonky. If it's a tabby, we call it Mourek (M-oh-r-eh-k), which literally means Tabby. Ginger cats are Zrzek (zrz-eh-k), whic means ginger (the female version would be Zzka. The previous two names don't really have suitable female equivalents).

For female cats, the go-to name is Míca (M-ee-ts-ah) or Micka (mi-ts-k-ah). A gender neutral pet name would be Tapka, which means paw, but the pronunciation would probably be too complicated for you to use on a daily basis (tya-p-k-ah). It's a nice name though, I know many dogs and cats - and, in fact, a guinea pig, as well- of this name, including my own cat, who unfortunately passed away a few years ago.

Dear Hana,

Rest assured, old sport, I might never tire of talking about pets. I've only ever had a bird before and I didn't pay it nearly as much attention as I should have, so having this cat in my house is a fresh and wonderful thing.

He's so lazy. Incredibly lazy! It's a testament to feline willpower to watch him roll bit by bit across my carpet to remain perfectly within a ray of sunlight. I simply would not have the patience with myself or the sun to remain there on the floor.

I haven't named him yet, but I'll certainly keep those in mind! Nick tried to suggest 'Tom'—as in tom-cat—but I would never saddle such an innocent creature with such a despicable name. It even took Nick a moment to reckon with the root of my disgust at such a hideous suggestion.

Perhaps once I can convince the ginger's tabby friend to come inside, and I see the two of them interact, I'll be able to come up with names for them both based off of how they interact with each other. The trouble is that the tabby is so unbelievably standoffish—not mean, either, but as soon as I put my hand out to pet him, after sitting for several minutes while he sniffs at my knuckles, he darts away as though I intended to strike him! It's heartbreaking! I can hardly stand it.

I leave him extra cream now. I hope he understands what I mean by it.

In classic fic writer irony, this fic required hours and hours of research that on occasion amounted to one line written on it.

On Magpies

This is how the oriental magpie looks. The japanese kanji for magpie is Kasasagi 鵲 - but I picked a different kanji - 笠鷺 (the direct translation of each individual character would be bamboo hat, heron) that actually is a legitimate name which reads the same as a tongue-in-cheek pun.

I found this little bird perfect, because it looks like a white and blue bird with its head painted black and i found it fitting.

On Jisei

Jisei are death poems which consist of five lines, with a total of 31 syllables (5-7-7-7) and are frequently composed by people on their deathbed. References to sunsets, autumn or falling cherry blossoms which suggest the transitoriness of life are common.

On Substitution Ciphers

Okay, I'm no expert on cryptography and i really really struggled with this because i couldn't find something that already pre-existed in relation to a deck of cards that wouldn't take another deck and years off your life to solve.

Lo and behold - i realized that that from ace to king, there are 13 cards in a suit and I went oh **** it and made one from scratch. It's rudimentary and very basic (2 different cards can mean 1 particular letter) and also a proper cryptographer would make fun of me, but it works in a pinch.
