Hamtaro Turning Butt Super Big Plush Crane Game Prize

A big new Hamtaro plush surprisingly popped up on Twitter a few days ago! This new plushie shows hamtaro turned a bit with a happy expression. It's about 33cm, a pretty decent size for crane game plushies.

There didn't seem to be any warning that this was arriving, but it seems like many crane game locations across Japan are receiving the prize the first week of December. I managed to find a machine being stocked the day it released, I'm so lucky to have gotten him!!

Hamtaro is so special to me and I have so many happy memories with it. It was my first post that took off on my main blog, plus as a kid I found my beloved epoch Hamtaro figure in the middle of a busy road and was obsessed ever since. As a kid I called him “mousy” and my mom would search for Hamtaro stuff for me. Such a special place in my heart :)

Hamtaro Ham-Ham Plushies

Release Date: August 2019

One of the most exciting Hamtaro products! In 2019 Sanei produced 16 plushies, each depicting one of the main hamuchans and a large 20cm Hamtaro plush. Each of these plushies are around 10cm tall, which makes them fit into your palm comfortably.

The plushies were 1000 yen at the time of release, with the exception of the larger Hamtaro plush, which was 2300 yen.

Some of the ham-hams were still available at stores in December 2022, but by 2023 nothing was left. Here are the ones in my collection:
