Hamtaro X Fuji Q Highland (Theme Park)

Dates of Collaboration: July 2003 - June 2017

Can you believe there was a Hamtaro themed section of an amusement park?? This section of Fuji Q Highland was named the Ham-Ham Doki Doki Kingdom and housed a handful of fun rides and attractions, which included:

The Great Fluffy Sky Adventure (Rollercoaster)

Hide-and-Seek in the Doki Doki Forest (Rollercoaster on a bike cart)

Swaying Sea-Ham Ship (Pirate Ship Ride)

Ticky-Ticky Sunflower Ferris Wheel (Small Kiddie Ride)

Kids Park (Playground)

A special Ham-Ham was born out of this collab: Fuji-Q-kun!

Unfortunately the Hamtaro section of the theme park was closed down in 2017 and rebranded, with some attractions completely removed from the park. The Hamtaro wiki speculates that there were licensing issues.

Hamtaro Rubber Coaster Gacha

Release Date: November 2024

November's gachapon were just announced and I had no idea we were getting more Hamtaro merch! These are rubber coasters that will appear in the flat gachapon machines, and each pull will be 400 Yen.

The designs are so pretty!!!! Not really an autumn/winter vibe but I'll never complain about more hamtaro merch! My favorite is Panda and Cappy building some ikea furniture together 🥰

Hamtaro Drawstring Pouch

Release Date: Spring 2025

Manufacturer: Fukuya

New gachapon were announced the other day! These gacha are of little pouches depicting some of the ham-hams getting ready for spring! This is the same art as the rubber keychains that are expected to release in the next few months. Keep an eye out for future Hamtaro merch, we're bound to get a bunch for the 25th anniversary!!!!

Hamtaro Crane Game Prize

Original Release Date: June 2022

HUH?? These little crane game plushies are getting a re-release!? They must have been insanely popular!!

These ham-hams will be re-releasing next month at crane game centers across Japan. These guys are about 10cm tall and come with a string on their heads, perfect to turn into a keychain or just sit on your bookshelf! They have chubby cheeks from eating so many sunflower seeds 🥰

Hamtaro Playcharm Phone Plushies

Release Date: October 2024

This is the second set of the Playcharm series! The first set included cute little plushies of Hamtaro and Bijou, and now we're adding Oxnard and Penelope to the ham-ham lineup! The plushies are meant to attach to the back of your phone, I'm not sure if it's a suction cup or something like a popsocket. They seem like they would be a cute addition to anyone's hamtaro collection!

Each ham-ham is around 2,400 Yen, I have no idea what stores will carry this, but it looks like Oxnard and Penelope were up for preorder on AmiAmi

Hamtaro Kapuko Friends Series

These super cute gachas are little plush keychains of the main ham-hams! Each pull is 500 yen, which seems expensive but seems like all the plushie gacha are that price.

Godzilla-ham Kun Merch

One more item to add to the godzilla collab! This is a multicable cord that works on iPhone, Android, and USB ports. Am I dumb? How does this charge your phone??

This picture was taken at Yamashiroya, but I've heard this item was also found in Hakuhinkan Toy Park.

Godzilla-ham Collab

Release Date: August 2024

In addition to the other Godzilla X Hamtaro merch recently released, there's also these really cute oshi keychains! The middle part is where you can slide in a picture of your favorite character, it's like Godzilla-ham is hugging them!

A sticker pack also released of some reused art, kinda mid but still cute if you can find them!

Not a lot of information about this one! Kiddy Land has a small selection of bedtime themed Hamtaro goods. The merch includes combs and brushes, compact mirrors, keychains, stickers, clear files, and pencil pouches.

This art is so cute, I hope it wasn't a super limited edition drop!

Hamtaro Ichiban-kuji (Lottery)

Release Date: Early 2025???

In light of today (8/6) being Hamtaro's birthday, the official Hamtaro Twitter announced there will be a new lottery next year! It appears this will be angel themed and the art looks very cute! I wonder if this is the closest thing we will get Ham Ham Heartbreak merch??

The account stated more information will come out closer to the release date. All we know for now is that the lottery is expected to release sometime early 2025 (maybe February to go with Valentine's Day). As of right now it seems the lottery will be in stores only. 😭

I suspect 2025 will be a big year for Hamtaro fans as it will be the 25th anniversary of the series. Stay tuned to see what else is in store!

Hamtaro Crane Game Prize

Release Date: March 2024

Series: Hamtaro Plush Toy - Let's all have a pajama party!

These cute ham-hams are all dressed up in fuzzy pajamas! They are about 10cm tall apiece and were available in select crane game locations. I found out about these from the Hamtaro News Website, and it looks like the Banpresto website said which crane game places would carry it.

These were in the medium sized machines, and I managed to only see one machine with them back in April 2024. It took about 2000 yen to get Cappy, I’ve noticed that they make the machines with hamtaro goods very difficult to win, probably to keep resellers from clearing out the stock.

Thank You Mart x Godzilla-ham

Release Date: July 2024 for "preorders," August 2024 in stores

Thank You Mart has released their second collaboration with Hamtaro! This time it's Godzilla-ham kun, which pairs nicely with the recently released merch from the Godzilla store. Thank You Mart sells all of their products at 390 Yen (not including tax) and their products from the last collaboration were very good quality for the price, so I'm excited to see how these ones fare!

Items in the collab include ( in this order on the 3rd image): a pillow, keychains, tote bag, hair clips, clear pouch, zipper pouch, mirror, nail file, wristbands, iphone case, socks, t-shirts, rug, hand towel, coaster, mouse pad, lint roller, memo pads, washi tape, sticker roll, clear bag + flake stickers, and other stickers!

Thank You Mart is currently having a pre-online sale, where you can purchase the items in July and it will be sent out late September. If you want to buy in stores, then you'll have to wait until August. The last collab had items go out of stock so quickly, so if you want these be sure to buy as soon as possible!

Thank You Mart does not ship internationally, you will need to use a proxy service. Be sure to find one with a short wait time for purchasing, since items are already out of stock (I missed out on the rug 😭)

Godzilla-ham Kun Merch

Release Date: July 2024

The Godzilla Store in japan has released some new Hamtaro goods! Everything is in very cute pastels, with a wide range of colors to choose from. My favorite are the plush bags, I want them all!

The Godzilla store seemed to carry a small selection of Hamtaro goods for a few years, so I don't think these will be limited edition. I have gone to the store a couple times in the past and they did not always have everything in stock, so if you want to be sure you get what you want, you'll need to use a proxy service. Unfortunately the Godzilla store does not ship outside of Japan, but you can use Buyee!

Hamtaro Plushie Keychain Gachapon

Cute new gacha that fit in the palm of your hand! Each gacha costs 500 yen per pull (pretty expensive to me if you're trying to collect the whole set! But it seems like all plushie gacha are that price)

I found a few sites you can buy from! Looks like ratuken will have them, and I found a gachapon wholesaler if you want a bunch of extras.
