I love the dwampyverse shows because they're all like:

Phineas and Ferb: show about loving your family

Milo Murphy's Law: show about loving your family and friends (specifically in the face of adversity)

Hamster and Gretel: superhero show HAHAHA JUST KIDDING! IT'S A SHOW ABOUT LOVING YOUR FAMILY!

i had a funny silly lil dream where kevin and candace swapped bodies bc of a random villain and then kevin went on a date with jeremy while candace tried to find a way to switch back lol

plus jeremy bummed and sad after the date and venting to stacy ( vanessa too???) about their awful date speaking about how candace didn't ramble, didn't try to run to bust her brothers, didn't complain about ANYTHING the whole date and didn't even kiss him at the end so he's just left alone wondering what the heck he did wrong, stacy going to investigate because candace was way off and vanessa completely lost bc that seemed like a normal, fine date

oh, and kevin calling candace later to say "nailed it"

yall ever think about Candace and Isabella bonding over how Phineas has hurt them?

Think about it.

Candace Against the Universe explores Candace’s self esteem struggles in regards to her brothers extensively. Phineas never means to hurt Candace, but simply by way of accomplishing more than she thinks she ever could, he makes her feel inadequate, defeated, alone. He quite literally has innate good luck whereas Candace has bad luck and it’s very rare we see him actually acknowledge this.

Isabella, on the other hand, is hurt by Phineas’s actions AND his inaction. His inconsistency. Him pulling out all the stops for her one day and barely noticing her and her attempts at quality time the next (primarily in seasons 1-3). She gives so much to him, but because he’s spread so thin he can never give that much back.

And this isn’t to say Phineas has done anything wrong! no one is wrong feelings are messy. and he’s just a kid living his best life. but I love the thought of Candace and Isa bonding over this, I don’t know if anyone else could understand their feelings.

Phineas has hurt both of them unintentionally, without even meaning to. He loves them and yet he doesn’t always take the time to consider them the way they do for him. When you’re larger than life, you hurt the people closest to you. they can’t escape your shadow.

They’re angry at someone who, by all accounts, hasn’t done anything wrong. That’s a complicated place to be. heck Kevin from H&G can join their club too and talk about Gretel haha!

Love that the dwampyverse has a binary scale of how supportive an older sibling in hiding sibling shenanigans. On one hand you have Kevin Grant Gomez, who goes out of his way to help hide Gretel's superhero adventures. And on the other hand you have Candace Flynn Fletcher, who goes out of HER way to BUST her brothers for their invention adventures.

And then you have Sarah "Eh, whatever shit happens to my little brother is clearly none of my business" Murphy, stuck very firmly in the middle. If they didnt each live on three different points of the Tri-State Area across town, I genuinely believe they would be the best of friends.

phineas - i don't know . in my defense i dont think he would be able to tell you either if you asked.

ferb - straight but in a way that makes people question him. maybe nonbinary and straight. he's gnc for sure.

isabella - bi. very vocal about this. has a patch on her sash for it. etc

baljeet -bi and an enormous chad when he gets older. has to fend people off by whacking a broom at them

buford - gay and and angry about it. now this doesn't mean that he wishes he was straight. he ACTUALLY wishes he was aro/ace so he didn't have to deal with any mushy romantic feelings at all

candace - straight trans girl. self explanatory

jeremy - bi and chill about it. a lot of his friends don't even know just because it's never come up

stacy - lesbian and suspected it for a while but she wanted to make SURE by dating boys first. hesitates to tell candace because candace will go overboard with enthusiastic support

vanessa - lesbian.... simple as

perry - canonically asexual and im fine with that decision. also transgender. he's narratively transgender.

doof - bisexual loser. nobody's doing it worse than him

monogram - cishet. is the most awkward ally in the world but he tries at least

carl - gay

linda - you know this bitch is cishet but shes WAY better at ally stuff than francis

lawrence - bi trans man

norm - he would try every letter of LGBT out to try and figure out which one he is and when he's done he just says "I'm Norm!"

irving - this kid is gay

milo - he'd just go with "queer" and call it a day

melissa - if you asked her what her orientation or gender was she'd ask if you were a cop

zack - bi loser (also poly with melissa and milo, since i didn't mention it up there)

sara - bi but she acts like a scene kid about it

diogee - he's a dog he doesn't really give a shit

dakota - gay.

bradley - gay but one of those really annoying ones

amanda - bi trans girl. she went through at least 7 different crises before she figured that out

gretel - nonbinary lesbian...i just know it in my soul. halfway influenced by meli povenmire

kevin - loser bisexual. absolutely no rizz with any gender

fred - i KNOW they're a nonbinary dyke i just KNOW it. runs in the family. maybe kevin figures out he's one too. you never know
