After a bit of a delay the Bats and Rats Beanie pattern is up and available from my Ravelry and Etsy pages.

This spooky hat is worked from the bottom up in the round with a ribbed cuff, stranded colorwork in three colours, decreased with a moon phase design on the crown and finished by pulling the yarn through the remaining stitches.

Finished my Scrappy V tee designed by Knitosophy over the weekend! I had intended to use my whole 2022 Halloween box from LeRoo Cotton, but it would have wound up way too long, so I left out a few colors. Not sure what I'll do with the leftovers - maybe socks?

Spooky Season Knitting

Hello fellow yarn crafters. This is going to be my first spooky season after having learned how to knit. I have created a list of patterns that to me have the vibes of the season. One of these I will likely have on my needles for the season or try to get done to wear during the season.

Cowls

Noctuidae - A short cowl with colourwork to with large and small moths. Has instructions for an optional liner to hide the floats. Fingering weight yarn, paid pattern.

Initiation - A double sided cowl, with different designs on the inside. Uses two colour colourwork to create a bird skull motif with a geometric design for the reverse side. DK weight yarn, paid pattern.

Spooky Season - A cowl with colourwork to create crescents and eyes. Has instructions for making it either short, tall, or long to double wrape around your neck. Fingering weight yarn, free pattern.

Autumn Doodle - A stripped colourwork cowl with bats, pumpkins, candy corn, and skulls. Pattern has other motif designs in the description but no examples knit you can see. DK, Lighter Worsted, Sport weight yarn, paid pattern.

Sweaters

Let's Play Murder - Floral and Skull Wallpaper style yoke sweater. Uses stranded colourwork, short rows, and is knit in the round. Pattern has instructions for one size, womens medium, and suggestions for altering it to different sizes. Fingering weight yarn, paid pattern.

ASTRAEUS - Moon, crescent, and star like design yoke sweater using colourwork. Has instructions for both a DK and Fingering version of the sweater. Several different sizes of the sweater and bonus cowl pattern. DK or Fingering weight, paid pattern.

Little Scorpion - Scorpion design made using stranded three colourwork. Yoke style sweater with several different sizes of the sweater. Fingering weight, paid pattern.

Let's Boogie - Ghost and candy corn yoke sweater with eyelet designs. Stranded colour work with three colours. DK weight yarn, paid pattern.

Other Items

Autumn Doodle Cup Cozy - Offers four designs for the cozy. DK or Fingering weight, paid pattern.

Wa na na na na na na na Bat Shawl! - Large triangle shawl with bats made using yarn overs to create a psudo lace design. There is an errata for pattern for an error in the border. Fingering weight, free pattern.

Dancing Batty - Wrap or short triangle scarf style shawl. The bats are made using yarn overs to create a psudo lace design. Fingering weight, free pattern.

Witch Hat - A simple witch hat that is worked flat and seamed. Super bulky weight yarn, free pattern.

I started on a Scrappy V by Knitosophy using last year's Halloween countdown box from LeRoo Cotton! I made it through the short rows and am looking forward to separating the sleeves. It's a very clever construction, though, and I'm already planning on making a second one!
