Na- Nayeon 2nd Mini Album Review

Nayeon biases! I'm baaaaaack and buckle up because we're diving into Nayeon's solo debut with her album "Na"! As someone who isn't a TWICE fan and doesn't really seek out their solos or group songs, I was intrigued to see what this cheerful ray of sunshine (as my bestie would call her) could bring to the table all on her own. Here’s the lowdown on what went down:

Concept: 8.9/10 Nayeon's concept for "Na" is like a sugary shot of nostalgia mixed with a modern twist. She plays on themes of youthful innocence and heart-fluttering romance, which suits her image perfectly. It’s like stepping into a pastel wonderland where every song feels like a daydream on a sunny day. However, I would’ve loved a bit more depth in exploring different emotional landscapes beyond the usual lovey-dovey vibes.

Lyrics:9/10 Let’s talk lyrics! They’re cute, they’re catchy, and they stick like bubblegum to your brain. Nayeon brings her trademark charm with lyrics that are refreshingly honest and relatable. Whether she’s singing about crushes or the thrill of being young and carefree, you can’t help but smile along with her. But hey, a tad more poetic flair wouldn’t hurt to add some layers to her storytelling.

Beats: 7.5/10The beats in "Na" are where Nayeon really shines. They're bouncy, infectious, and tailor-made for those dance breaks in your bedroom. Each track has its own personality, from the upbeat pop anthems to the softer ballads that let Nayeon’s vocals soar. My only gripe? Some tracks felt a bit formulaic, like they were playing it safe instead of pushing the envelope.

Here’s hoping her next solo venture brings even more surprises and growth. While I do find it to be quite nice, I will still pick one or two songs out of the whole album. You know me... "Not a girly girl" and for me it's still a bit too girly. Until then, "Na:" will still be on my recommendation list.

Ich habe gerade letztens wieder ein paar FFs nochmal gelesen, weil es einfach so viele unglaublich gute in diesem Fandom gibt 😌

Meisterlich in character und die Autorin hat ein wahnsinnig präzises Gefühl für Zeit- bzw. Szenensprünge. Ich liebe die Sehnsucht in und zwischen den Zeilen und lasse mich sehr gerne immer wieder aufs Neue von manchen Sätzen brechen :')

Das Push-and-Pull, die Sexual Tension, der Schmerz...es ist eine perfekte Komposition. Jede Leseminute wert. Kann kaum erwarten, dass es weitergeht.

Den ersten Teil habe ich - no kidding - ohne Pause in acht Stunden gelesen. So viel Herz und Schwere und Comfort in Einem...ich hab literally keine Worte dafür, wie sehr alles JK und ihre Verbindung und ihre Realitäten in dieser Geschichte für mich sind. Keine.

Schreibstil einfach premium. JK in ihrem Umgang großartig getroffen. Heftig. Deep. Sexual Tension at its best (or worst?). Absolut kein Comfort, I'm a sucker for it. Love is pain, oder so.

Candyrella hat Poetik im "Simplen" perfektioniert. JK sind schonungslos und ehrlich und verletzt, hier und da ooc, aber halt auf verdammt gute Weise. Besonders die Dialoge, die sind so f*cking echt und zerreißend.

Verlangen - Funkenflug (ff.de) by AlwaysKlako

Diese Story macht einfach Spaß. Atmosphäre, JK, Sommer, die förmlich greifbare Anziehung der beiden - zusammengefasst: intense. Und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail, unfassbar schön.

littleadhd!nayeon usually regresses to about 8-9 years old

she is... chaotic to say the least. her usual high energy and talkative big! self becomes even more high energy and talkative

she has to be monitored at all times because she will get into trouble even if she's not trying to

there can't be any sharp objects around her because the one time there was a knife left out on the table, she dragged down the piece of paper it was sitting on and almost hurt herself

her primary cgs are sana and jihyo because they're able to keep up with her energy the best

since sana has adhd herself, she's able to understand a lot of the littleadhd!nayeon's actions and stop things that may be harmful

she gets very curious and will ask questions about anything and everything, but she has a hard time actually listening to the answers because she so easily gets distracted by other things that catch her eye

sana and jihyo try to take her out every weekend they have long and boring schedules during the week because they know that nayeon's built up a lot of energy

if she's not able to release a little bit of energy each day, she gets very angry and very antsy. she doesn't mean to get upset, but it feels like her body is going to explode from how shaky she is

jihyo tends to be the main cg when it comes to calming nayeon down. she knows what to say to get her to calm down enough and she can usually tell when nayeon's about to throw a fit because she's had to sit in meetings all day long

littleadhd!nayeon's favorite toys to play with are surprisingly not small handheld fidgets. she loves anything and everything that has sound and is colorful (which can sometimes be hard for sana and jihyo to listen to all day)

the toy she takes with her almost anywhere is a car puzzle. the cars are all different colors and whenever she slides them around, they make a sound

she has to have someone in the bathroom with her when she takes a bath or a shower because she'll miss every step except washing her face if her mamas aren't there to tell her the next step of cleaning herself

if it's a rainy day and they can't go outside, sana and jihyo entertain nayeon with easy and colorful board games. she loves candy land and she loves halli galli

if she gets bored of a game, she'll just walk away and pull out another one. they end up starting and never finishing quite a few games

she absolutely loves kisses and hugs and any time she's around any of the members and she's regressed, she has to get/give a kiss or a hug every five seconds

chips are her favorite food and it's hard to get her to eat vegetables, but she really loves the brown sugar glazed carrots that jihyo makes her. they're a little sugary, but at least she's eating a vegetable of some kind

littleadhd!nayeon's bedtime routine is simple and it's surprisingly easy to get her down at the end of the day. sana and jihyo read her two bedtime stories and by the middle of the second one, she's usually fast asleep
