note: i really have fun doing this, let me know if you guys want more for other characters! š«¶š»
jjk actor au masterlist
Ā as an actor:
i feel like he would be more humorous and laid back than his character
usually the one who starts teasing his closest castmates (probably haibara and gojo)
treats the 1st and 2nd year casts as his kids
especially the twins, yuuji and sukuna
acts like a father figure to them on set and takes care of them whenever they had a very exhausting scene to film (like fight scenes and such)
he's also the one who breaks the twins up whenever they have playful banter with each other
puts up with gojo more outside their characters and is actually tolerating his antics on setĀ
will sometimes have a giggle fit whenever someone makes a light mistake during filming like voice cracks and stumbling during fight scenes
believe it or not, he's really the type to join gojo and geto in creating light pranks to the other casts
when a scene needs to be filmed before the sun even goes up, he pulls up to the shoot with coffee and the casts' (even the crew!) favorite drinks
knows their coffee and drink orders BY HEART
the producers love him because he's such a sweetheart
whenever he smiles (an example is during that mahito scene where he was trapped in his domain expansion and in the restaurant with ino), the crew is literally the definition of "got me kicking my feet, giggling, and twirling my hair" LOL literally big fans of him
speaking of mahito, people are surprised to know that they're very good friends and actually went to the same middle school
he is usually the one that he practices his lines with aside from his spouse
he CANNOT for the life of him practice his lines with gojo and geto alone because they will have a giggle fit every time š they can't take it seriously pls
also shares his bentos made by you to his co-stars which they really REALLY love
he also takes his physic very very seriously and works out on a daily basis but it doesn't mean he won't enjoy a good cheat meal (which is also very often because whenever filming gets busy, they resort to take outs) hence he compensates by working out more
gojo really likes to touch and squish his biceps from time to time istg this man
believe it or not, he has an instagram, but his face is barely posted unless it's a promotion or magazine shoot
most of his posts includes foods, behind the scenes of some shoots, and his spouse, you
fans are raving and gushing about it
he also has highlights that are just food, travels, behind the scenes on the shows he is in
as a husband:Ā
unlike his character, he stays to work overtime most of the time (not that he wants to, it's just he NEEDS to) which you understood head on before you married him and before his stardomĀ
you usually prepare his bentos before he goes to workĀ
which is most the time also appreciated by his workmates so you make more portions to satisfy their stomachs as well
but whenever his hectic schedule and yours clash that you don't have the time to prepare him one, he settles with takeouts and convenient store foods which is enough to fill him up but it just does not hit the same :((
he practices his lines with you as a form pf quality time, his schedule is so packed that he takes every single free moment with you as a bonding experience
but sometimes he doesn't because he hates giving you spoilers and wants his scenes to be a surprise for you (*wink wink* hair grab scene *wink wink*)
the kids, the 1st and 2nd year casts (and maybe even gojo), goes to your shared home to crash if they're too tired to go home from the shooting site if your house is the closest
the 1st year trio, especially yuuji, goes by your home often whenever he gets easily boredĀ
even though you're not the part of the crew, for how often they go to your home, you also treat them as your kids (yes, including gojo)
whenever they're around, it's always so loud and lively but both you and nanami are not complainingĀ

An An Magazine NĀ°2394 (17/04/2024) : Interview with Miyamura YÅ«ko (Kazuha's VA) & Horikawa RyÅ (Heiji's VA)
General & Movie 27 (The Million-dollar Pentagram)
[å®®ęåŖå Miyamura YÅ«ko as é å±± åč TÅyama Kazuha]
M.Y : Please, propose to me as soon as possible (laughs).
Can you tell us what you like about Toyama Kazuha ?
Kazuha-chan is a calm and peaceful character who almost never gets involved in incidents or crimes, unlike Heiji. Sheās genuinely sweet and cheerful and her love for Heiji is sincere and deep. Sheās so fixated on him that she doesnāt realize when other men are interested in her. I think sheās quite popular, though...
Kazuha is a character who speaks Kansai dialect, is Miyamura-san also from Kansai ?
I myself am from Kobe, so i can speak the Kobe dialect, but Kazuha-chan is from Neyagawa in Osaka, and speaks Kansai dialect. Actually, there are various types of Kansai dialect and the one she speaks is a very strong, somewhat classical version of it. I used to hear it a lot when i was a child. I think it's probably the Kansai dialect that my father's generation spoke, and thatās what i have in mind when portraying her.
How do you see the relationship between Heiji and Kazuha ?Ā
When will these two realize that they have mutual feelings for each other ? (laughs). I really donāt mind about finding a nice romantic setting for their confession... I just want them to confess as soon as possible. I hope they both jump straight to a proposal! (laughs). And honestly, Kazuha-chan seems to be giving off a bit of a resigned vibe lately...
When you heard that Kazuha will appear as a main character in this movie, how did you feel ?
I'm really hoping for some progress in their romance, so please make it happen! (laughs).
What do you like about Heiji ?
First of all, his sparkling eyes when he solves mysteries! Then, how cool he looks when heās riding his bike. Itās also adorable to see that despite his abilities, he becomes clumsy in the presence of the girl he likes. Heiji also gives us the impression that he comes from a good family. My favorite moment between Heiji and Kazuha is when they are on the bike together, and Heiji says, 'If you let go, Iāll kill you! To me, that felt like a proposal on the level of āstay with me foreverā.
What advice would you give to the two of them, who arenāt making much progress, as someone with more life experience like youĀ ?
Well... to begin with, i think Heiji should hurry and go greet Kazuha's parents with a greeting like : Please, let me take care of your daughter!
By the way, thereās an episode where Kazuha carries a matching charm with Heiji. Do you have something similar that you carry around, like a charm ?Ā
I donāt have a charm, but i maintain my peace of mind by looking at pictures of my pet dog on my smartphone. (laughs).
Do you have any thoughts on the relationship between Kazuha and Ran ?
When there is progress in the relationship between Shinichi and Ran in the original work (manga), i'm as happy as if it were my own. Even during the recording sessions the scenes where they support each other's love are really fun and cute. I think thereās something only Kazuha and Ran can understand, like the āstruggles of falling in love with a detectiveā. But at the same time, i also wish for Ai Haibaraās happiness. So, i want Dr. Agasa to develop cloning technology that can create multiple Shinichis (laughs). Also, there arenāt enough Conans compared to the crime rate! So i hope they increase the number of Conans as well. If itās Dr. Agasa, he should definitely be able to do it!
Do you have any memorable moments from the recording sessions of this movie that youād like to share ?Ā
Minami Takayama, who voices Conan, is always amazing, and this time was no different, she was incredible as ever. I even took notes, listing what exactly made her performance so impressive. It was just astonishing...
Each character in Conan is very popular. Do you hear such feedback from fans ?
Of course! As a fan myself, i watch the show with my Conan fan friends all the time. Every character is charming, and the story is interesting no matter where you dive in. Sometimes, there are occasional small plot elements, so i can't take my eyes off it from start to finish. Personally, i really enjoy the scenes where Kogoro looks competent, and even though Gin and Vodka donāt appear in this movie, their buddy dynamic is something that i love. Oh, and i was really moved by the relationship between Inspector Nakamori and Kid.
Finally, can you please share the highlights of this year's movie to our readersĀ ?
This time, the culprit and the mystery-solving aspects are very intriguing, but thereās also... Kidās secret!!! Look forward to it!
[å å· ććć Horikawa RyÅ as ęéØ å¹³ę¬” Hattori Heiji]
H.R : I believe there's a certain appeal in things that are not easily achieved (laughs).
Can you tell us what you like about Hattori Heiji ?
First of all, he doesn't back down. Heiji gets really annoyed with people who give in and say things like "it doesent matter." That kind of passion is very much like him, and i like that. By the way, although he is the greatest detective in the West, he becomes a complete failure when it comes to Kazuha-chan. She is his weakness. Thatās definitely where to hit him!
Heiji is a character who speaks in Kansai dialect. Horikawa-san is from Kansai, isn't he ?
You know, while portraying Heiji, i sometimes think, ānobody talks like that in Kansai these days!ā (laughs). Expressions like 'seyakate,' 'souden ga na,' and 'chaiman ga na' you wouldnāt hear them even if you crossed the street in Kansai these days (laughs). As a high school student, what era is Heiji even from? But well, since itās fiction, i understand the desire to exaggerate a bit. This time, the story takes place in Hakodate, and the Hokkaido dialect 'waya' is used.
When you heard that Heiji would appear as a main character in this movie, how did you feel ?Ā
Here we go again! (laughs). I was really excited. Especially because there wasnāt any talk about him being a main character next year. About a year ago, i got a call saying, āsorry, we need to record a preview for next yearā, and i thought, āwait, does that mean... next year?ā āYes, that's right.ā Thatās how i found out. I was really happy.
How do you see the relationship between Heiji and Kazuha ?
In the previous movie, āThe Crimson Love Letterā, Heiji said to Kazuha, 'If you let go... Iāll kill you.' To me, thatās basically a confession. Itās almost equivalent to saying, āi love youā, so i think his feelings have been conveyed... But i wonder if theyāve actually reached her. It doesnāt seem like it, does it? (laughs).
What do you like about Kazuha ?Ā
She often scolds Heiji with some harsh words, but from my perspective, they are just messing around like a married couple's quarrel. Iām always like, āoh, theyāre at it againā. But actually, i don't mind being scolded like that, as does Heiji. During the recording sessions, i often think, āsheās so cuteā. Honestly, i wouldnāt mind if she scolded him a bit moreā¦ (laughs).
What advice would you give to the two of them, who arenāt making much progress, as someone with more life experience like youĀ ?
I think their feelings have already been conveyed, so isnāt that enough ? (laughs). Of course, iād love for them to finally get together, but that slow progress seems so typical of Heiji and Kazuha, donāt you think? (laughs).
Do you have any memorable moments from the recording sessions of this movie that youād like to shareĀ ?
Thereās a scene where my character has to fight an opponent in an unbelievable location, something that could only happen in an anime. Itās a completely unrealistic situation, but the characters are fighting with all their might. So, as voice actors, we have to give the same level of effort to make it work. That particular scene left me really exhausted during the recording sessions. But thatās exactly what made it so entertaining. Being able to immerse yourself in the role to the point where it feels like youāre stepping into the picture is one of the best parts of this job. The feeling of accomplishment and the exhaustion afterward were incredibly satisfying.
Each character in Conan is very popular. Do you hear such feedback from fans ?Ā
Yesā¦ but itās a bit embarrassing (laughs). Well, thereās no denying that all the characters are really cool. But if people feel that the appeal comes not just from the way they look, but also from the acting, i think itās because all the actors arenāt trying to ābe coolā. Weāre just giving it our all. I truly believe that fully committing to the role is what makes it come off as cool.
Finally, can you please share the highlights of this year's movie to our readersĀ ?
When it comes to Heiji, it's not only about his feelings for Kazuha but also his dedication to pursuing the truth. I hope the readers can truly appreciate this admirable aspect of his character. Thereās plenty of entertainment too, such as Conan-kunās skateboard sequences, but also more profound emotions and nuances of life that adults will relate to, alongside the action and mystery-solving. This film is packed with so many elements that i recommend watching it at least three times (laughs). You really canāt catch everything in one viewing. Personally, i watch any movie at least three times!
Note : The translation might not be the most accurate word-for-word, but i did my best to make it coherent.

Ch 2
It was two years ago that you found out through a cancelled meeting that your dear old classmate was the general manager of the marketing department. And within the same two years, with so much hard work, he climbed up to the position of senior consultant while you kept arranging the schedule of a dickhead who made you work overtime on Fridays.
Once in a while, whenever your intrusive thoughts would take over, you would compare yourself to Nanami Kento. Both of you studied at the same school and had the same college degrees, yet he was doing what he was meant to. You, on the other hand, were not. Years of hard work, and all you're left with is a huge debt and the fear of a low credit score.
In the two years that you spent working your ass off, the only good thing that occurred was your drunken mistake with Kento. Let's just say Nanami Kento has a fat cock, and he knows damn well how to dick you down. It was all you needed. All you needed to forget how pitifully messed up you had become. You wanted to avoid your emotions and keep them at bay, and he was just the right tool to continue procrastinating for as long as possible. It was easier than facing the baggage that you carried; that's what you told yourself. So here you were, spending the weekend at his house yet again.
Another great thing about Kento is that he knows how to cook and is not just a necessity cook but a Gordan Ramsey cook. He was a 10. A proper husband material guy. With a few changes in his social skills, he'd probably have more fans at the office than he already does. You've seen the way his coworkers stare at him, especially the new interns. The way that cute coffee shop worker ogles at his hands and his chest, literally undressing him shamelessly, but you wouldn't blame her because who in their right minds wouldn't? A rich, depressed bachelor with a bomb bod was literally everyone's fantasy. It was also one of the reasons why you got yourself involved with him sexually.
"Here, try this." Kento said as he offered you a plate full of birria tacos. After spending a whole lot of time with him, you've come to know that making food for someone is his way of comforting them. You remember how he used to cook for you after your parents' deaths. He would come by your house every day and make something brilliant out of the left-overs. There were days when he would load your refrigerator with groceries using his pocket money. It was his desperate attempt at saving you, maybe because he couldn't save Haibara. He was afraid that one day he would come to your house only to find you hanging from the ceiling, like he did Haibara.
"Ooooooohh...it goes so well with the chilly oil." You said, closing your eyes, relishing the taste.
There were not many things that gave Nanami a sense of satisfaction, but when you appreciated his food truthfully, his heart would rejoice. For as long as he could remember, he wanted to be a chef. However, like every child, he grew up, and life happened. More like, adulthood exposed him to the nightmare that his daydreams prevented. It was not easy. There was so much competition, and the art itself was very expensive to learn. So it was easier for him to let go of what he once thought was his life than to dream about it. Two roads diverged in a wood, and he simply took the one more traveled by.
Dinner time was always peaceful. The two of you would discuss work or any series that piqued your interest. Sometimes there would be silence. You would clean up later. Nanami cooked, and you cleaned. And while you did the dishes, he would go through Netflix to find something to watch. Having him by your side felt good. He was always there. Just there, when you needed him. You knew his secrets, which were very much similar to yours, but there was no gain in delving deeper into them. As long as another cute coffee shop worker who happens to have a crush on him doesn't pop up, you're fine. It's not hard to keep him to yourself anyway. All it takes is a white lie to turn an interested fish away from the bait.
One moment you were watching a movie holding hands, then slowly grinding your clothed crotch against his in the very next. You were tugging on his hair while he had his head buried in your chest as his hands gripped onto the plush flesh of your hips. You were straining yourself against the urge to gain more friction than the zipper of his pants was already providing. You couldn't help but moan when he started sucking marks on your exposed chest as his hands trailed under your top to unhook your bra. Taking off your top, you pulled him into a suffocating kiss. His tongue rolled around yours as he got rid of his shirt swiftly.
Now, Nanami was the kind to take things slowly. However, the way you kept biting your lips with such desperation and the obvious dampness in his pants had him ripping your shorts apart. Unbuckling his belt quickly, he pushed his pants enough to free his cock, and before he could think, you slid down his length, causing him to groan loudly. He was dazed. Drunk on you, so much so that his mind didn't register that your hands were no longer clutching onto his shoulders but instead your nails were sinking into them. He started thrusting on instinct, each stroke turning more urgent than the last.
You had intended to ride the shit out of him, but you loved it when he took control. The way he latched onto your breasts and teased your clit all the while he continued rutting into you. The way his head dips into your neck, sucking harshly at the skin, fiddling with your nipples, pinching them, or the way he would look down to admire the sticky web he created. He looks so fulfilled when he makes love fucks you.
But the thing is, it's not fulfilling for him. Nanami knows what he signed up for. The relationship is supposed to be strictly sexual; however, his heart longs for more. He wants more of the domesticity you share with him. The simple moments where you spend time with each other, watch things, and experience things together. He wants to express his love for you through his actions, but you are just so blind to his feelings. You never let him in. It's not like he's too stupid to understand your state. He knows that you don't like sharing anymore, that you prioritize money over your health, that you are too proud for your own good, that you will never let anyone see your vulnerable self, that you will never ask for help, that living feels like a burden to you, and that after the incident, you became more like him, hopeless.
Suddenly, these thoughts infuriated him. Why was he incapable of feeling this way for someone else? Why was he peaceful only when he was with you? Why were you the only one who could ignite extreme sparks of emotion in him? Why did he easily fall into this trapāthis aching relationship? Why was he looking for you in every person he came across for all these years? Why was it so damn painful to love you?
"Fuck this." His tongue slipped into your mouth as his fingers held your jaw firmly. Lifting your leg with his other hand to stroke deeper and faster, he felt your body arch out of pleasure. Your breath became shaky as a string of gibberish left your mouth. You were squeezing around his cock, grinding on him to meet his thrusts. Wrapping his hand around your neck, he pushed your head into the pillow and started shoveling his dick into you intensely. Your sinful moans, along with your clenching pussy encouraged him to go harder on you.
You felt suffocated in the best way. Writhing under him, you kept pressing your clit hard unrelentingly, demanding more pleasure. You were about to come, but you craved more. "Hah-...come inside, Kento, pl-please, please come inside."
Nanamiās eyes widened; he was close to losing it. His dick twitched at the urgency in your voice as you begged for him to breed you. He went feral, pounding relentlessly into your cunt, eliciting sweet mewls out of you. You pulled him into a kiss as you came. Nanami did not take long to follow after you, filling your pussy to the brim. You clenched around nothing as his cum slowly dripped out of your glistening folds.
"Didn't know you were into choking." You said catching your breath.
Feeling apologetic, Nanami immediately inspected the marks on your neck. "I'm sorry, I should have-"
"Should have what? Ask for my permission?", you chuckled. "I liked this Kento. I like it when you use me, you know. I like it when you fuck me like you hate me."

I kinda wish that the DetCo canon would do more with the fact that the relationship (I don't mean this in the shipping sense) between Conan and Haibara has been, or at least logically should have been, really strained for a long time.
Originally, they had this development where Haibara was really messed up, overly cautious and trying to force her maladaptive survival psychological issues onto other people, and generally not good at positive interactions. Then, slowly, Conan and the others started gaining her trust (not entirely though), and also her general mental health improved (never completely though).
But then it turned around, and started getting significantly worse. Haibara isn't really in a healing arc anymore. If Aoyama still took her seriously as a character (which, to be fair, I don't think is the case), she would be in a retraumatization arc. Conan and his allies are limiting Haibara's agency, invading her privacy, dismissing her concerns about all this, and pretending that this isn't happening while she can obviously tell that it is happening.
I think the really obvious turning point was the Mystery Train arc. Haibara even called Conan and Agasa out on it and stated that she wouldn't forgive if she were to be treated like that again. Instead of taking her hurt seriously, they just told her she should "be thankful", and dismissed her hurt as "tsundere", refusing to take her trauma seriously after using it and using her as a mere chess piece in their plans (and Akai even triggering her more by gloating about it).
Since then, Haibara has been trapped under the constant, violating supervision of these people who have demonstrated that they don't respect her, and also refuse to acknowledge that the problem even exists. It's not a situation where her recover arc could realistically continue. By all logic, she should be spiraling, getting worse again.
And maybe this is on purpose; Aoyama definitely didn't plan the manga to get this long when he introduced Haibara, and originally the slow-burn of her recovery was a good way to postpone a scenario where Haibara could actually trust Conan enough to give him the kind of information that would lead to the finale arc. But... eventually, even with the extreme slow burn of DetCo, Haibara's recovery arc and relationship development with Conan would have gotten to the point where her continued withholding of crucial information would no longer make sense... and, I guess, rather than start concluding the story at a humanly reasonable rate, Aoyama just opted to nuke Haibara's whole recovery arc and character and relationship development (not only with Conan but also Agasa).
Which could have been tragic but realistic (albeit kind of a major downer out of tune with the manga's usual tone, and upsetting to anyone who had been invested in the slow-burn mental health improvement arc), but then Aoyama can't even be arsed to take it seriously, and is now just pretending that the situation with Haibara and her relationships with Conan and Agasa are still "normal" instead of FUBAR.
It's regrettable and really shows how much everyone dragging out this franchise to milk it for more money just... doesn't actually care about the story anymore, hasn't in a long time. They'll eventually just kill central, fan-favorite, long-running story arcs rather than actually letting them conclude or evolve in a satisfying manner if that would mean risking their precious status quo (which has warped beyond all recognition anyway, so I'm not sure why they bother).
#dcmk criticism#detective conan criticism#haibara ai#edogawa conan#professor agasa#dcmk writing criticism#eternity series#haibara#conan#agasa#by the way the same refusal to let story arcs develop in a satisfying way if it risks status quo#is also warping the shinran relationship development and secret identity issues into something not... good#Aoyama & co. want it to be a positive relationship but they're taking away the capacity for it to be.#the secret identity drama has honestly run its course and they should have updated the situation to Ran finding out#and the characters dealing with the fallout and the development that would have followed#a WHILE ago.#instead it has become a rehash of a rehash of a rehash that makes Conan/Shinichi more and more unsympathetic & less justified each round.#do Aoyama & co. not realise that letting these plotlines evolve would actually be HELPFUL by giving them NEW scenarios to work with?!#I give up#old fan yells at cloud

Please don't boo me for what I'm about to say (jjk 260)
I saw a tweet that said Sukuna seeing Gojo on the battlefield is like Nanami seeing Haibara just before he died, he's just a "ghost" or a hallucination bc he's reaching the end of his life (although in this case, Gojo appearing to Sukuna is done as a means to taunt him)
Narratively I think it would make sense that Gojo's students (but mainly Yuji) are the ones to defeat Sukuna bc Gojo always wanted his students to surpass him, he trained them to be the next great generation of sorcerers
Gojo being revived somehow and dealing the final blows to Sukuna kinda defeats the purpose of wanting his students to do greater than him, but especially for Yuji, even if he only thinks of himself as a "cog", that his role is just to be another player in the game
But if I'm wrong and he's actually alive then I apologize to Gojo and his fans š

Analyzation on Nanami
Contains spoilers for the manga I guess.
Nanamiās personality feels a bit bland on the outside but has a deeper meaning on the inside. We see him as a man who left jujutsu society and became a deprived yet serious businessman. But something that sticks out to me is that he is VERY protective of young sorcerers. Why is that?
Well for starters he did grow up as the only sorcerer in his family. So he as a child he wasnāt used to the chaos and bloodshed that jujutsu society has. Haibara is definitely a factor on why he is so protective of people especially young sorcerers. He was his best friend and only 17. Nanami saw him die brutally on HIS watch, together. In the manga he felt completely useless and said that they should just leave everything to the strongest. A person who actually has the ability to protect everyone.
Many people think only Haibara and Yuuji influenced Nanami. But what about Geto? Geto was a good acquaintance of his and he also witness Getoās downfall. In fact, Nanami doesnāt even blame Geto. Because he knows that if he was in Getoās shoes and saw a CHILD (Riko) die right infront of him, he would absolutely loose it too. Geto perhaps in some way mightāve influenced Nanami to leave jujutsu society so that way his health doesnāt take a toll which makes him go crazy and become a cursed user.
In the night parade of 100 demons, we see Nanami letting the young kids stay behind as he handles the situation. Sure this is fan service but this adds so much more to his character. I saw somewhere that his record of 4 consecutive black flashes were DURING the parade. Black flashes required power and determination. Nanami had so much determination to save the young sorcerers that he is willing to push the extent of his body. He explains that āin the zone", the state of elite focus and feeling of being at the center of everything. As you release more black-flashes after it, it becomes ānatural like you are breathing normallyā. This could be a reference to Nanami protecting kids naturally from the bottom of his heart and itās just in his nature to step in.
Nanami uses that pain as motivation. He comes back to the bloody jujutsu society for the better because he knows that there is a chance to protect young and gifted sorcerers like Yuuji Itadori. He has absolutely no hesitation protecting young sorcerers even if they arenāt Yuuji too. Since he knows he canāt bear to see anyone die. Since he spent his life hiding as a normal person while children were fighting and he in a way wants to make up for it.
We have to end the post by analyzing his iconic line āBeing a child is not a sin.ā He doesnāt care if they fail on a mission or in general, he just needs them alive because at the end of the day they are just kids. Nanami has seen a lot of things like curses growing up. In fact he was still a kid and was still growing when he became a sorcerer and saw his friends and comrades die. He saw people change their entire personality. He doesnāt want to curse Yuuji and be a burden to him because that might get him killed. He cares for Yuuji and Haibara even on the brink of death and in fact, those two kids are the last thing he ever sees. He will try to be a role model so he can help protect kids and teach them to protect themselves.
Thank you for reading! Have some treats:

A.N : Okay... I know I post every new blood moon... But hey new fic ! Bear with me, I needed to comfort myself after seeing the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc animated. I was dreading to see it animated because... Heartbreaking. Just as scared for Shibuya. Anyway definitely Canon divergence I'M HERE FOR IT OKAY.
Being a good exorcist was easy. Being a talented exorcist could come from two paths : birthright or hard work. You considered yourself a hard working one. The cursed technique bestowed upon you yielded terrifying consequences. But offered wonderful opportunities. Water. The element of life, creating and keeping alive. The spirits of Nature were and are to this day, the kindest beings of this world. So their wrath can be as burning as their love for their disciples.
And you started to wonder if you hadnāt offended someone. Hand on your right flank, your body, folded in a corner, was waiting for the curses to pass by you. Though, there seemed to be little chances of survival with the scent of your blood everywhere on the floor. This mission was supposed to be in, kill, out. One curse, one hour maximum to find it. Yet your life was flashing before your eyes, a gentle sob needing to spill out. Time couldnāt rob you like that. Not now.
The celestial body was dead, Haibara-kun too and Nanami quit to be ānormalā. All your friends fell through repetitive depressive episodes; Shoko started drinking atop of her smoking habit, Gojo though more mature was now endangering students, fighting more and more with Geto, whom blamed himself for the death of Riko and Haibara. Getoā¦ Your moonshine. With his man bun. His stupid wit. His ease. When everything was going to hell, you would both bitch about Gojo together, pass out on the common roomās couch in eased silence, dance on new tracks with Shoko by your side. He always had bad days, but they were becoming more and more violent. And all these rituals were less and less vibrant. He never fell asleep; he hummed, no more wits; stared with an empty look at that wall while listening to new tracks. Honestly ? You were so used to grieving that cheering people up became a reflex.
Cry at night, smile to people to shine. Be their light.
You knew it was bad for you. But your heart couldnāt bare to see others endure what you had.
Be the balm you didnāt have back then.
Another hard truth ? Your mind was cracking. Only two years had gone by. Your pain drowning you slowly, week by week. No one was cheering up. You were feeling useless. Just like this instant. Curled up in a ball, life draining slowly. Exhausted from your first insomnias these past few days. Surprised on a dangerous mission. Why did the higher-ups send you alone on this ? Did they see how useless you were becoming as you aged ? Noā¦ Why would theyā¦
Low growls neared your corner. Rusted furniture was protecting you for now. Maybe their ironish smell would fool them. Or did they fool you ? No wish of yours had ever been so strong than the one clouding your mind right now.
Heat Wave. A fan. A white ceiling with bamboo planks. Shorts and tank tops. An opened couch and pillows. Suguru softly breathing next to you, his phone battery dead, one earbud in, the other out, a bit of saliva running out of his mouth. The window bay opened, the one facing the fresh forest, the gentle stream passing through the pond tinking. Stars in a clear sky, accompanied by the moon.
Why did you get the exact opposite ? And the sounds you wished to hear againā¦
āThank you, Droplet. My heart is indebted to your generous one.ā His index boops your nose, you giggle. ā Please, call on me if you need anything. Iā¦ā He pauses, serious, before gently tugging the handle of your lollipop to mess with you. āYou and Shoko are the only ones keeping me sane these days.ā Your hand grabs his to try to free the handle, as you both giggle. āStay bright, little light.ā
Well, if you didnāt turn into a vengeful spirit after all of these thoughtsā¦ Anything else your brain wants you to regret before you die ? A summer festival memory ! Sounds like a good way to wrap it up.
A Rainbow of traditional clothing. You loved yours. Geto had brought you to his favourite secret store of traditional clothing, where you found THE outfit for the festival. Smiles everywhere. Smells of food. Fireworks. Hugs. Songs. The fresh air of midnight. Your moonshine seeing you shivering. After a quick inquiry, his arms draped over your shoulders, covering you with his large black sleeves, as his chin rests at the top your head. That giant bastard did warm you up, but so did your cheeks and heart. You wondered how you could get him to do that more often.
You had found out a few weeks later, while discussing with Utahime on the phone. Mortified described your state extremely well. None of you were ready to be in any kind of relationship. Your souls were vividly scarred by all the recent events. Broken canāt fix the broken. A couple is the union of two people, who know their personal value and want to add the otherās to theirs because they love it. It is an addition, not a completion to the hole in their heart. Geto had been a friend for so long now, that these sayings didnāt stop your thoughts about the possibility. He knew how to be an entire person without anyone, even if it hurt him at times; he could choose his addition without a worry. But what about you, still fighting against your people pleasing habits, oblivious to yourself worth ?
The snarls of the curse were right next to you. It had stopped, sensing your presence, searching. Its head turned left, towards your spot then right. It sniffed carefully around the abandoned building. The air was mossy, rancid, dusty. Your blood could blend with the rust. Your breaths were short, eyes tightly closed. The curse was constituted partly of water. You could trace its movement, anticipating your probable death. Speaking of which, you decide to make peace with it all. Step by step. In your mind, three different versions of you appeared : a child, a teenager, a young adult.
You cherished our alone time and hobbies all while being a busy exorcist. We are soo badass !
I kept that part of myself. Thank you, little light.
You werenāt a scared teenager anymore. You fought, saved people, protected the one you love. Our mind and our heart cooperate without bitterness now. Thatās one hell of an accomplishment.
Iām proud of myself. Thank you, weāre saved.
We both know what we want now, donāt we ? You have been blind on purpose because you were scared.
Of what ?
Appearing cold when mourning. Too cheery on a daily basis, while everyone was sad. To equal your seniors. To admit you finally fell in love.
ā¦
Itās not because they didnāt cheer up every day that you failed. The important thing is that you stay true. He wants you by his side, so do you. We jump towards our death in every mission. Allow yourself some moonshine in this dreary life. A droplet can change everything. Survive.
You opened your eyes. The curse had turned its head back near the rusted furniture protecting you. Okay, it was big. But full of water. You control water. It could work, right ? Your wound wasnāt too bad for now. Your hand covered in blood would argue, but it couldnāt speak, so fuck it. Drawing a deep breath in, your legs sprung you out of your hiding spot. The curse screamed, extending its hands to you. Its mouth wide open, you saw some saliva. Perfect.
Thank you, Droplet.
You screamed in return, letting some tears fall out of your eyes. You infused them with cursed energy, alongside your sweat. You would have preferred to use external water like a puddle but oh well. Even the moss would not have been enough. Tears and sweat are highly linked to emotions, making them potent catalytic fluids. You would tire quicker, but it was the best way to get out of here. Creating a string with a hook, you launched it inside the mouth. Got the connection.
First step : letting it swallow some more. Screaming some tears out, your cursed energy allowed you some strength. The string got longer, the curse swallowed.
Second step : deeper. The sheer need to resist the pull made you sweat some more. The thread became longer, the curse falling deeper into your trap. The map of its in and out was clear now.
Third step : Hook and tear apart. That could be trickier. Your strength had its limits, especially with a wound. Draining your own waterā¦ Everyone says itās a dumb idea. But you know why you use it; last resort.
Your feet firmly planted on the ground, you pull. Shivers and tremors ran through you. One of your knees touched the ground. Your throat got drier by the second. But you screamed. Your heart wanted to make it out of here to spill it all out to your moonshine. Deep down, you knew that because you and Shoko were behind him, Geto stayed somewhat sane. That he didnāt jump off of an edge you could not have saved him from.
If you die, he might let go.
Hell no. Not on your watch. That moonshine would not disappear. Your tired arms pulled. Your cursed energy went up some more. It didnāt seem like enough. Wrapping the thread around your wrist, your now free second hand straightened in the direction of the curse. It was going to act like a magnet to the hook, to pierce through the curse. You loosened the thread a little. This was your riskiest manoeuvre : a few seconds of inattention and youād be dead.
The curse wailed ; the hook was slowly coming out. But it started shaking left and right. Now you were fucked. Still, as hopeful as ever, you kept going. Your thoughts were on a loop, like a broken record.
I want more time. I want more time. I want more time. I want more time.
Something ran down your nose. On your right flank too. Blood, probably.
I need more time. I need more time. I need more time. I need more time.
A swift breeze blew behind your back. Opening your eyes, a giant white dragon flew through the opening your hook had created, tearing the last curse of your mission apart. Your thread and hook dematerialised. The tension of your body evaporated. Your muscles became jelly. The dragon came to you, sniffing you. A smile crossed your features. Someone called out your name, far, getting closer, next to your face. You couldnāt leave the dragonās gaze, the happiness it brought you. A few words leave your mouth, before you blacked out head first on the fuzzy head in front of you.
ā Iām ok. ā
Shoko contemplated the night sky. She had never been into it. Until one fateful pyjama party involving you and your random knowledge. It soothed her now. A puff of smoke ascended towards it. The state you came back in was not too bad, you were mainly exhausted. Your wound healed up without a problem. She could recognize the signs of insomnias on your body; paler skin, darker under-eyes, shallow breaths. Your undying resolve to cheer was fading.
Did you think of Death, good friend ?
Another puff of smoke flew up. Maybe Shoko should stop smoking. Go on your little mental health walks with you. Cry with you. Grieve together. A cold breeze blew her hair away. For tonight though, sheād leave you to your peace. She giggled tenderly. What a surprise youād have waking up. Smashing the butt of her cigarette into a pot, her arms snuggled her white blouse closer around her turtleneck. She often wished to have a Geto of her own.
āI wonāt let you freeze, Droplet.ā
Those are the last words you thought you would hear waking up. Your nose ran a little, your feet feeling the cold air of the room; as well as a pair of legs. Slowly emerging, your forehead noted the warm chest it rested against. A big hand was rubbing the back of your head. Your back shivered at the contrast between the air and the arm circling it, the hand politely resting on your side. Lips kissed the top of your hair.
āPlease never do that again. That was so reckless of you. Did you really think we wouldnāt back you up ? Even if we were forbidden to do so ? ā
One of your hands, bunched up against your own chest, grabbed onto the black t-shirt in front of you. You had woken up a few times, mere seconds each, but every time you felt like shit. Your brain was letting your heart loose. You wanted to cry so bad. But exhaustion put you back to sleep just before you could. However now, you were fully awake and ready to burst. Your nostrils recognized the perfume next to you. He saved you, probably watched you bleed out without knowing if it was fatal or not, and stayed by your side for hours on end. A sob above you invaded your ear.
āWe needā¦ I want you by my side for all of this. I want to smile with you. Be a brat with you. I-ā
Another sob. Tears dropped on your cheeks.
āNap like weāre in a coma in summer. Hold you on a cold night of a festival. Hug when weāre sad for whatever reason.ā
If he hadnāt noticed you yet, that would do it. A shaky breath escaped your mouth a little too loudly. You sniffed. The hand on your side twitched a bit, indicating Geto had in fact heard you, freezing in place.
āAre you ?...ā
You buried your head in his neck, rounding his torso with your arms, crying. He probably had to fight Shoko to be able to lay in your infirmary bed like that. Instinctively, his arms held you tighter, leaving you some time; taking some time for him to cry too. Your hands grabbed the back of his shirt with urge, afraid to lose it.
āI want you too. I jumped out to save myself because I wanted to live pleaseā¦ donātā¦ā
Even though Geto was shaky, he loosened his grip to let you look at his face. Dark circles, wrinkles from the sheets and a small cut on his left cheek. His voice only shushed you gently, the hand on your side cupping the side of your face to rub his thumb on your temple. Your eyes met. He nodded to you, exhaling all the air in his lungs. You followed, warmed up by his attempt to help breath smoothly again. You synchronised, like every time you eased the other out of sadness. These breathing exercises had been transmitted by one of the spirits of the water you met long ago. A gentle puddle pushed by the wind. You were crying your eyes out in the forest, having seen another one of your friends die in a trial. The puddle worked with the wind to move in slow motions, allowing you to sync your breath with them.
One out for one, two, three, four ripples. One in for one, two, three, four ripplesā¦ Halt ! One ripple. Two ripples.
āThree ripples. Four ripples. Let loose, Droplet.ā
The hand on your face moved back to your hair, caressing them.
āAre you feeling better ?ā
With one last breath out, a small smile appeared on your features. Your body was warm from head to toe, happy to be alive, to have him so close.
āThanks to you, Suguru.ā
His eyes widened again, a slight blush covering his cheeks. The moments he could help you back were so rare. You thanked him every time. However you had just confessed to him. Fireworks went off in his brain, barely believing it. He was getting delirious after worrying so much at night, right ? Or was he dreaming ? A mental slap later, his heart screamed to be in the moment. So as sly as ever, he grinned after scoffing.
āDonāt mention it.ā
You shook your head, amused. Hugging him again, you wondered if what you both said earlier was going to be talked about tonight. A light breeze made his arms hold you a little closer. He kissed one of your temples. Maybe you should have that conversation. Pushing it back wouldnāt be any good. The night was still young.
āSo, heard you say you wanted me, little light ? Is that true ?ā
You huffed a laugh at his casual tone, knowing full well that his heart was hammering against one of your ears.
āYes. I believe it was an appropriate response to your lengthy love declaration. That you professed while you thought I SLEPT. That is so mean. Never hide your feelings like that with me, please ? ā
It was his turn to laugh. But no mockery laced his voice. Just a little bit of admiration. You had been on Deathās door. Yet here you were, scolding him with your entire heart.
āI promise, Droplet. Would you do the same ?ā
Your head lifted to watch him. His face seemed so relaxed. Did all of this mean you could get infinite free hugs and that beautiful smile all day long ?
āI promise, Moonshine.ā
Maybe the next few years arenāt going to be too bad.

Hi! If you can I would love to hear your thoughts on chapter 236 of the JJK manga
First of all, very cool to see a Gokurakugai pfp! Secondly, man this is a very fun question to answer. So broad and open that there's so much I want to talk about. Obviously spoilers for people that haven't read the chapter yet so be warned about reading further.
Okay, so interesting stuff, lots and lots of interesting stuff. First of all, I think Gojo getting (potentially) off-screened is incredibly hilarious. Yes, I'm a diehard Gojo fan, but before that I'm a Gege fan. The idea of the "The Strongest" not even getting a death that's shown to viewers is just so damn great that it's funny to me.
Following that up though, I love how far they're digging into Sukuna now. The torch of "the strongest" is being passed to Sukuna, and with it he has to carry the burden of that isolation. It's a feeling that characters like Gojo can really relate to, and I think it's great to see Gege explore that.
Now, I'll skip over all the ideas of reading into the "dream/death" sequence since it's been done to death in regards to the concept of rebirth and enlightenment, but I will say this. I've had friends say it and I've seen other people express it as well. Confusion as to why everyone's young in the flashback.
It's a valid question, and I think there's quite a few answers. Nanamin's answer is one of them, and it's where my response stems from. This time in their lives, the trip to Okinawa, the days of Jujutsu High filled with excitement and happiness. It's something that they all missed. In their minds, those days were the days they were their ideal selves. Haibara and Geto remain the same for obvious reasons, but Nanamin and Gojo revert back because of that. They lost the people most important to them back then, and it's no lie to say that in both cases Itadori was what filled that hole. Gojo's comment about getting Geto to pat him on the back, and Nanamin's relationship with Itadori in general are the vestiges of that past. Anyways, where was I. Right, regression to the ideal. The whole reason they appear like that is because it's before all of that trauma, before all of the terrible things they've had to face in their life.
In a way, it's both fitting and unfitting. It's really interesting how Gege works in that regard, as Nanami and Gojo's paths have been largely similar in my eyes. Not so much in the details, but the broad paths they trace in terms of satisfaction in their lives. The most unfitting part though is Gojo being young in the flashback. I feel like if Gojo is to truly die, that we'll see him once more at his current age in this dream sequence. But I don't feel like that's going to happen. I'm pretty comfortably in the camp of "Gojo survives" and for a few reasons.
Firstly, Sukuna. Yes, Sukuna's "reality slash" fodderized Gojo but there's more to it than that. It is still an extension of one of two techniques, of which the chapter leans towards "cleave". Mostly because Sukuna confirms that the initial target was Gojo, but that the attack expands past him. Dismantle is typically used for inanimate objects while cleave is used on cursed spirits or other living things.
This part is a pretty wild idea on my part, but bear with me. Sukuna is a stupidly prideful sorcerer, do you really think that he would let Mahoraga deal the final blow to Gojo Satoru? I don't believe so, so it presents a contradiction. Sukuna's fanaticism with threes. In the prior two fights decided by cleave, Sukuna has obsessed over the number.
The first instance is against a finger bearer in chapter 8.
And the second time we see him kill using cleave is vs Ishigori in chapter 216. Where he states that he was aiming for 3 slices on the first failed attempt before delivering on the next.
So why now, why of all fights would Sukuna not only not deal the final blow himself, but do it in such a half assed manner? It's not a real kill, that's why.
Let me use the Ishigori example once more. Sukuna attempts a simple slash against Ishigori before getting a read on his ability. Realizing that his "simple" cleave did not kill him, he could form the conjecture that Ishigori is a high level sorcerer, one that could possibly use reverse cursed technique to heal himself. Because of that, he goes after the head so that Ishigori has no possible way of healing. Something that he doesn't do against Gojo. The questions continue to pile up in regards to Sukuna's conduct. He uses Megumi's technique as well as dismantle and cleave, but not the unknown technique he used against Jogo. Of course, it was for the act of embarrassment, but that's something that Sukuna would endeavor to do with Gojo anyways.
There's just too many pieces that contradict Sukuna's behavior through this chapter, and a lot of it does stem from the fact that content was passed over (for the time being). Sukuna still hasn't healed back his hand from the prior chapter. The act of cleave is denoted by an attempt at threes, but in this example it's one. There's a lot of oddities that point to something more going on with the chapter.
But because of that there's also so much potential. I think most people share in the opinion that while Kashimo's fighting Sukuna, the goal will to be to find a way to help save/revive Gojo.
There's three characters that we know of in the group that can use RCT: Hakari, Shoko, and Yuta. Kusakabe's a wildcard due to his grade 1 status without a cursed technique, but it's not likely. Anyways, the idea I've chatted about at end is that Hakari joins Kashimo out on the battlefield to stall using his domain expansion. It's a guaranteed four minutes and eleven seconds of unkillable (as far as we know) time, so long as he hits. During that, Yuta and Shoko will attempt to secure Gojo and use RCT to bring him back. But that's just one part of the puzzle, I'm very curious to see how the rest of it goes that Kashimo's chomping at the bit.
Overall, as a shock and awe chapter it's borderline perfect. It gives readers an intense feeling of despair, just the right amount for them to dig incredibly deep into the content of the chapter. To find all the odd pieces, to discover the incongruencies and ideas that don't quite sit right. I'm definitely not perfect with my ideas, but at the end of it all Gege's goal was to get everyone's brains into overdrive, trying to figure out what they'll do next. So while I may be in the fetal position thinking about Gojo being dead, I'm still incredibly excited to see where Gege goes with this potential.

Can I ask a few questions about Gojo/Getou?
1.) What songs that came to your mind when you think of them (SatoSugu)?
2.) Do you think SatoSugu are queerbaiting?
3.) In Role Reversal AU, do you think Getou can kill Gojo for the greater good (like what Gojo did)?
4.) So is he (Gojo) really not feel anything with Amanai and Haibara's death?
5.) How can Gojo not realizing Geto's depression (is it because he always sent on solo missions)?
6.) (This last one is kinda a joke) Are you a GoGe or GeGo shipper?
1). "Wherever You are" by ONE OK ROCK because this fan video made for their 24-Dec death anniversary last year absolutely destroyed me, and you guys should be destroyed by it, too.
2). No, because as far as I'm concerned, that kind of best friend, bromance, soulmate-like relationship between male characters are common in practically every shounen out there for so many years, and they can be considered as fan service at most (after all, the spending power of otaku girls in Japan are already a force to be recognized in the anime industry). Besides, you don't have to necessarily view them as being romantic-coded or something. There are times when you just found that one person with whom you both totally understand each other, care about each other, feel you are equal, have the exact same vibe, that you two end up being inseparable.
3). Strength-wise, I don't think Geto is stronger than Gojo, so first of all, it would depend on whether Gojo is willing to be killed by him or if Gojo was so severely weakened that he couldn't fight back normally.
Emotion-wise, yes, I think Geto is the kind of person who is willing to make a huge sacrifice for the greater good, even if it will cost him his own life. That said, if he does end up killing Gojo, it will give a significant impact and change to his personality from thereafter.
4). Gojo is different from Geto when it comes to the way he thinks and express feelings/emotions. Geto cares too much about everyone else but himself. Gojo cares about those close to him and he won't unnecessarily hurt strangers either, but if situation calls for it, he is willing to make sacrifices. Like in Shibuya Arc, people like Geto (or Yuji) would probably prioritize saving the civilians, but Gojo prioritized exorcising the Special Grade curses.
First of all, in Riko's case, he was literally high after just being awakened to his true power so he was incapable of feeling anything else. But it isn't as if he's not angry at all; had Geto said "ok" when they met there, he would've massacred the entire cult right then and there because he knows they are the real cause of Riko's death.
There is too little information about Gojo's reaction about Haibara's death but I'm guessing that rather than losing Haibara, the thing that angers him the most would be the way the conservative higher-ups are running things that ends up in his junior's death. Because literally the reason why Haibara died is because the higher-ups's blunder in detecting the curse's level for their mission.
Satoru is born in the Gojo clan; from his childhood, he must've known all the ugliness of the bureaucracy brought about by the conservatives old people. Honestly, if it were up to him, he would've straight up killed those higher-ups (he said this in canon in his anger after Yuji's first death). But in his youth, he was using Geto as a moral compass, so he didn't do it (and he might yet to care that much about it at that time) . As an adult, he already realized that killing them wouldn't solve anything, so he must replace them by a whole new generation who wouldn't commit the same mistake they did ā a resolution he found after his "breakup" with Geto, after realizing that he could not save his best friend, no matter how strong he is.
Despite how he looks, Gojo is actually quite farsighted. He doesn't want to just solve emerging problems, he wants to pull them out from the roots. That's why he doesn't look like he's too affected by his comrades' death. He does feel things, but he suppresses them well enough because he knows acting on impulse won't solve the actual problem.
5). The answer to this question may relate somewhat to Gojo's personality and thoughts that I wrote for the previous question (No. 4), but there are indeed other factors.
I personally think it's more because of Geto himself than Gojo.
Geto is the kind of person who cares more about others than himself. He cares a lot about his peers, but it means he is too mindful of others for his own good, and he doesn't want to trouble them as much as he can. Everytime he has a problem, he will say he's alright and hide it behind a smile, just like when Gojo asked him if he's alright because he's gotten thinner, but Geto only laughed it off and said the summer heat's getting to him when he's been losing sleep and appetite over his trauma and dilemma.
He is literally the epitome of someone who won't seek help for his mental health problems because he doesn't want to trouble other people and ends up exploding from it in the end after his mind and heart could no longer hold it in. You can see that after he decided to become a villain, he doesn't even bother explaining to Gojo and Shoko despite those two being his closest friends, and he doesn't demand them to understand him either.
6). I'm in the "GoGe" team because Geto is way too mom and waifu material to me lmao

Being a fan of crossovers, this movie was pretty exciting for me to check out. Definitely didn't disappoint!
Lupin the III vs Detective Conan: The Movie is sort of one I wasn't sure how to feel about since I think I've only watched maybe one season of Lupin and it was definitely one of the more "modern" seasons.
That said, while I knew what to expect considering I do at least know the general direction the series takes, I feel it's fair to warn people who aren't familiar with the series to tread lightly.
To sum it up, it's, well, raunchy. There's sex jokes and lots of seeing women in provocative ways (especially Fujiko, my god that woman is the poster girl of extremely sexual women, even in this movie). Tons of cleavage. A bathing scene. It's very adult. Haha.
Which normally isn't a problem, but...I wasn't too fond of the fact Haibara got dragged into it. I just think when you're discussing certain things about the woman body and it's addressed toward a child (regardless of how old she is mentally) it feels a little wrong. Especially with an adult implyingly getting handsy with said child while making said comment.
So just...keep that in mind if you're like me and you're a little put off by it.
The humor of the series was a very good addition to this movie. I really do enjoy some of the gags of the Lupin series and it certainly delivered in this movie.
The characters were all really fun. I think my favorites were Jigan and Inspector Zenigatta.
I love Conan and Jigan's little playful banter of "being father and son". It was very precious.
By the way, there was a tv special before this one (Same name, just doesn't have "the movie" added on in the title). I would highly recommend watching it first as it provides a lot of context for the movie. Not to mention they do bring up some things from the tv special in the movie.
That said, you CAN watch the movie without the context. It's not like it's hard to follow otherwise.
I also want to say that Satou was an absolute delight in this movie. I love how she's willing to admit Lupin was her first childhood crush, but has no issues taking him down. She's hilarious and I just really enjoyed her in this movie. I kind of wish there could've been more of her.
It's rather funny to me as well that you can easily pick out which designer was doing which of the background and side characters. Like, I do think the Lupin series and Detective Conan mesh pretty well, but there are VERY MUCH artistic differences between the two that can be spotted at a glance.
Now before I add this to the rankings, I would like to note I'm not going to add a movie number to it since technically "Dimensional Sniper" is considered the 18th movie. But since this one came out after the last one, I figured I'd watch and write a little something up.
1.) The Raven Chaser (13th Movie)
2.) The Fourteenth Target (2nd Movie)
3.) The Lost Ship in the Sky (14th Movie)
4.) The Time Bombed Skyscraper (1st Movie)
5.) Magician of the Silver Sky (8th Movie)
6.) Captured in Her Eyes (4th Movie)
7.) Crossroad in the Ancient Capital (7th Movie)/Lupin the III vs. Detective Conan: The Movie
8.) Quarter of Silence (15th Movie)
9.) The Phantom of Baker Street (6th Movie)
10.) Countdown to Heaven (5th Movie)
11.) Strategy Above the Depths (9th Movie)
12.) The Private Eyes' Requiem (10th Movie)
13.) Full Score of Fear (12th Movie)
14.) The Eleventh Striker (16th Movie)
15.) The Wizard of the Last Century (3rd Movie)
16.) Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure (11th Movie)
17.) Private Eye in the Distant Sea (17th Movie)
Perhaps it doesn't make a lot of sense, but for some reason, it just feels best to give it tie status with another movie. It could just be laziness on my part so as not to have to fix the numbers, but I kind of feel like this is the way to go.
Especially since it feels almost like an unofficial official part of the Detective Conan Movie saga.
I don't really expect anyone to know what I'm talking about, I already know how confusing I must sound.
Either way, ending notes, great movie! Highly recommend when you just want a fun watch to give you a few laughs

Introduction!
This is going to be sort of an rp blog mixed with me being a bit insane over JJK.
But first let's get the silly shit out of here!
DNI IF:
Proship
homophobic
racist
fan of hazbin hotel/vivsiepop works
generally just... weird
Now that that's out of the way I'm Nim! It/he/anything nonfeminine if I'm honest. I'm into stardew valley JJK ghost and other assorted works. Right now I am looking for a longterm JJK roleplay partner.
I like
satoru/suguru
yuuta/toge
yuki/choso
mechamaru(kokichi muta)/miwa
kokichi/noritoshi
yuuji/megumi
nanami/haibara
and a few others! if there's something not listed you're interested in reach out to me and we can talk!
I'm flexible with letting someone play anyone they want besides kokichi who I'm a little bit insane about. as is evident by... the entire blog theme.
Happy to do fluff angst and NSFW if that's something you want. Semi-literate to literate to novella. Don't worry about matching length so long as it's longer than a single sentence!
I'd prefer my rp partner is someone willing to talk ooc as well, I like being friends with the person I rp with!!
Please interact with this if interested, or reach out to me on here! We can chat for a bit and then move to discord. :)

Final 30 binge:
1. Aww, Haibara worrying about waking Agasa. Reminds me of Agasa during episode 476-477. Agasa was obviously wearing Big Osaka colors, despite being born and bred Tokyo and neighbor to Spirits fan Shinichi.
2. Been a while since a not murder case.
3. Shinichi, when finally un-shrunk, takes Mitsuhiko under his wing to teach him some more intensive detective traits.
4. At this point, I'd downed about half a 750ml bottle of Tullamore, so my detective brain wasn't working right, but as soon as they said, "wasn't the same person on the phone." I knew it was the bike lady.
5. Listen, I have only a general knowledge regarding golf, but why is it always the 5 iron or similar thin clubs that are the murder weapon instead of the thicker 3 wood? I'd figure a thicker club would be better for bludgeoning. Then again, the 3 wood was used for this murder, so I guess it doesn't matter. Post note: Asked my brother with more golf experience. Wood clubs are essentially hollow. So there's that answer.
6. Congratulations, Shinichi. The assassin approves of you and your choice of girlfriend.
7. I'm sorry, did Takagi just pick up Conan so he could see over the desk? Takagi be like "Through this case, this is my child now."
8. Camel is the man who died twice.
9. Aww, Agasa and Haibara. Such an adorable father daughter pair.
10. Damn, thought this was gonna be one of those episodes where Kogoro actually solved things pretty coolly.
11. Haibara just tearing into Sanada.
12. Kazuha... just... Kazuha...
13. Takagi needs a mini-van. For when he's picking the kids up from soccer practice.
14. DB's copying the body builders speech pattern is funny.
15. I'm sorry. This episode is just way too over the top. I mean, there's always a bit of stretch, it's to be expected. But this?
16. I am both Agasa and Shinichi. I both understand the tricks and the who's who, but also I wanna watch while eating pizza and get through the binge.
Finished the binge, holding out my last thoughts cuz of spoilers.

transmute kid / cool it kid
by onesourfish Nothing about him is out of place here, and Gojou supposes that he succeeded at what he said he was going to do: this great achievement that Nanami Kento managed to bag, some normal and specifically corporate thing that he combed into being as he rooted every sorcery trace out: just some exhausted guy on his way back from work. As though his instincts were intact, shelved or forgotten-āGojou thinks, out of the blue of his six eyes: refinedā-Nanami lifts his chin and stares at him. āIs that someone you know?ā Megumiās voice sounds underwater. A friend, Gojou turns over in his head, a fish flashing its belly. The kid who made it. The boy who handed in one thankless work for another. The man whose best friend died but could actually leave this world behind. āClassmate,ā Gojou mutters. Graduating class. Those were numbered. Always have been, always will be. āSurviving class.ā āThought you said you didnāt have any more of those,ā says Megumi. "I don't," says Gojo. Alternatively, Nanami gets up. GojÅ follows. AHDJAJSJANEHEHD DW I NEARLY CRIED WRITING IT I AM SUCH A SUCKER FOR LOVERS/CLOSE FRIENDS PARTING WAYS ššš honestly though if he told me he was happy for me i would do a complete 180 and i mean I would whip around on my heel and I would literally hold him so tight Iām not even jk š giggles YES i had to top it off with beabadoobee !!! Donāt you know already stsg fans canāt be happy !!!! Okokokok to apologise for the sadness I have brought more poly stsg because Iām stsg anon and I canāt go a day without thinking of them šŖšŖ .poly stsg x reader whoās also a sorcerer but is just a complete ray of sunshine. As in the world is exploding in front of their eyes but theyāre js like āoh thatās unfortunate :(ā and just generally tries to have a positive and optimistic outlook on the world n be kind to those around them (My fav type of people) but the funny thing is that wanting to be a sorcerer probably means that you stayed with satoru when the incidentā¢ļø happened ā So imagine stsg seeing each other years later all cold and >:| but you were kept behind for whatever reason and theyāre in the middle of talking to each other when you come bounding up behind satoru like āoh sorry Iām la- OHH HEYYY SUGUUUUuuu :Dā ASGHAGSHA šš no because to be perfectly honest that would be me in that situation because I could care less that he left or that I havenāt seen him in 10 years ITS SUGU??? ILL TAKE THAT W THANK YOUUUU š¤©š¤©š¤© ahdhs i feel like there are so many possible scenarios with poly stsg x sunshine reader aughhh!!! Hehehdhxhs thank u for listening to my brain rambles once again :š„ ā YOU KNOW WHO (stsg anon) !!
STSG ANON MY BELOVED MY ANGEL first of all iām so so sorry for how long this took me to answer T_T uni has been uni-ing lately ā¦ā¦ AS ALWAYS U FEED ME SO WELL THOUGH pls know i always smile so wide reading ur asks !! :ā3 they bring me sooo much joy i am opening your scalp gently and kissing your beautiful genius brain <33
AND GOSHHHHH THIS IS SUCH A SWEET SCENARIO PLS šššš I LOVEEEE THIS SO MUCH this reader reminds me so much of haibara.. like i firmly believe this is how he wouldāve acted with geto HAIBARA ASIDE THOUGHā¦ this is just. so tasty. šµāš«šµāš« so sweet !!!
like .. a reader like this would completely fuck up stsgās attempts at acting hostile towards each other because theyāre just so sincere??? just happy to see geto again!! and i think it would hurt gojo and geto both because youāre still the same as before, you make them feel like youāre all still in high school, but youāre not and it hurts :((( i can see geto enjoying it thoughā¦ he just gets all soft knowing you donāt hate him. he assumed that both you and satoru would but you welcome him back so warmly!! makes him want to pinch your cheeks the way he always used to <33 i think he would jokingly but not really so jokingly suggest that you join his side and youāre likeā¦ :0 PHDJFJ just all sweet and apologetic because you want to be with him and you appreciate the offer but you like being at jujutsu highā¦. and he just kinda chuckles because itās such a casual reply. itās so you. it makes him feel warm.
(ā¦ i also feel like this reader would be very good for stsg because, again, their sincerity and sunshiney attitude would essentially force them both to be sincere too and i think thatād clear up a lot of misunderstandings between them.. yes i am suggesting that this reader + satoru couldāve gotten suguru back i know itās delusional but idc reader would go up to bleeding dying suguru and boop his nose and ask him to come back to them and he would stfu and listen <3333)
#IM SOOO IN LOVE W THIS AS ALWAYS#stsg anon i feel like weāre both connected through the stsg hivemind#every single thing u send makes me think so hard !! i have so much fun imagining these scenarios#geto would have suchhhhh a soft spot for this reader like theyāre his little baby no matter what!!#his lil ray of sunshine <3333#i just knowwww heās jealous that u stayed with satoru instead of following him..#(.. but heās also very happy bc he loves you both and know satoru will keep you safe. itās just a little lonely without you around.)#ok ill stop im making myself sad LMAOOO#stsg anon i am hugging u so so tightly and rocking u back and forth š«š«š« ILYYY#i hope u are having such a lovely day or night!! u deserve it !!! <333#ask tag ā©#stsg anon !! ā©

Salty Ask Game! 1 (What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?) and 23 (Unpopular character you love?), perhaps
hii thanks for the ask!
For the first questionā¦ I honestly donāt think there are any popular ships that I donāt really get, because I can see the appeal in them, but there are a few that I donāt like very much? I donāt know why but Iām not a fan of coai, Iāve just never seen them as more than friends. Theyāve both been put in the same situation, grown closer and have gained an understanding of each other, but I canāt really see it as romantic, although haibara most likely did have feelings for Shinichi at some point. Thereās also shinran, which at times Iā¦ donāt really love. It kind of changes depending on my mood, but I honestly think they had more chemistry in the beginning of the story, and itās just gotten a little bland for me in the later episodes. If I watch the earlier ones, I do love it though. (Sorry if I strayed too much from the original question!)
So, an unpopular character I loveā¦ Iām not sure if these are the general thoughts of the fandom, but Iāve seen lots of people complain about sonoko, and how annoying her personality is, and how she is a bit of a useless character. I honestly disagree though? After almost a thousand episodes, she became one of my favourite characters because I honestly think sheās really endearing, and is a refreshing contrast to ran and shinichiās characters. I think she really completes their friend group. I like her āannoyingā personality because sheās quite a fun character and is also just a teenage girl, and if you pay attention she does have a lot of character underneath that, besides being a rich girl. In all honesty Iād like to have her as a friend lol
#asks#thanks again for asking! Iām so sorry if I talked too much I think that is my habit when it comes to dcmk#havsvbfgbsg#you might be able to tell I liked english classā¦#dcmk

jjk for the fandom ask (hope i was first and also that you're doing well <33)
hi rin! I'm having a nice day today actually, and I hope you're having a nice day too! also yeah you're the first one!
The first character I first fell in love with:Ā
This might be a surprise to some people, but I actually was a Megumi fan when I first got into JJK 3 years ago. I always gravitate towards the dark-haired, moody, reserved guy in media lol, so of course I would end up liking Megumi. But then I met Nanami and he got bumped down. Sorry! I still like Megumi though, he's definitely a top 5 JJK character for me.
I'm putting the rest under a read more because this is really long.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:Ā
Hmm, I guess I would say Yuuta for this one. Not that I didn't think I wouldn't like him as a character, but he definitely jumped higher on my list after I read/watched JJK 0.
The character everyone else loves that I donāt:Ā
During season 1 I would've said Todo, because he seemed like one of those meathead frat boy type of guys, but he grew on me during Shibuya Incident as a source of inspiration for Yuuji, and in the more recent chapters of the manga.
But now, I would say Toji. Objectively speaking, he has a complicated history that seems interesting, and he's also attractive, but also he's a deadbeat dad who tried to sell his son to the Zen'in clan, and I can't really find any justification for that. Him sacrificing himself for Megumi in Shibuya is quite emotional, but I don't think it makes up for abandoning Megumi. Maybe it's just a personal issue for me lol.
The character I love that everyone else hates:Ā
I could joke and say Megumi for this one, but I'm gonna go with Mahito. He's a really compelling villain character and served as a foil to Yuuji in terms of philosophy regarding humanity. And him being the one to kill Nanami and Nobara, as his final acts as a cursed spirit, really impacted Yuuji and left a permanent mark on him.
The character I used to love but donāt any longer:
I wouldn't say I loved Mei Mei, but I liked her enough as an example of a morally-gray character, someone who only looks out for herself. But then Gege showed us where she disappeared to during the Shibuya Incident and THAT whole scene was really disturbing to me and from that moment on, I wanted to erase her from my memory. We really didn't need to see THAT to get the impression that she's greedy and has secrets and all that. It was enough of an example of her taking bribes from Gojo to have the students being promoted and all that.
The character I would totally smooch:Ā
Hehe, well, I think it's obvious I wanna smooch Nanami and Choso, but would it be weird if I also said Heian Sukuna? Also, Kashimo (old man or reincarnated is fine with me hehe). I would also say Shoko, but she's a smoker and I don't really like the smell of cigarette smoke, sorry. She has a gf anyway.
The character Iād want to be like:Ā
I really want to be like Nanami in the sense of being a mentor to the next generation, and also like Choso in being the best older sibling.
The character Iād slap:Ā
Fuck ass Mei Mei lol. If Mei Mei has no haters, then I am dead.
A pairing that I love:
ItaFushi my beloved! The angst, the devotion, it's just so peak tragic yaoi. I've already said what I like about them as a ship, so I won't write a long ass paragraph, but I still have some hope for them, unlike with SatoSugu. I also like Haibara/Nanami and Yuuta/Toge as my top 3 JJK ships.
A pairing that I despise:Ā
*looks at the long list of ships I dislike/hate* Uhh... well, besides the incest and adult/minor ships, I REALLY hate Nanami/Mei Mei, which is something I've seen on twt a few times and it made me wanna rip the flesh off my bones. They are the antithesis of each other, Nanami who's so selfless and kind-hearted and protects children vs MM who's so greedy and selfish and is a danger to her younger brother, not just because she's a weirdo but also because she uses him for his Cursed Technique. They would never work as a ship, and it really irks me how she's the one who gave Nanami the idea for "going south".
anyway, this was fun!
#ask game#why can't I write this much when it comes to my fics lol#jjk#tagging that for blog organization
