Hylia is an owl, Demise is a boar i think we can all agree on that
Demise has a pretty consistent boar motif through Ganon specifically when Ganon becomes a lot more demonic and loses his humanity he becomes a pig, and Hylia has at the very least had a bird motif and her sage that is implied to be Skyward Sword!Zelda’s dad(or related to him at least) in Ocarina of Time was an owl
but what r the golden goddesses, like do THEY have an animal representation motif? i dont know enough about them and oracle of ages/seasons to think of any definitive ones ive seen ngl
in Ocarina of Time which introduced them iirc they didnt have animal motifs, and in various games ive seen all three of them linked to dragons or having dragon servants like in Breath of the Wild and i think Skyward Sword too?
in Twilight Princess there r the light spirits that also represent the golden goddesses in which Nayru is a snake, Din is a bird which the wiki calls an owl but looks more like a hawk or another type of predator bird to me ngl, and Farore has a monkey or maybe a squirrel according to the wiki but it def looks more like a monkey, so would those animals represent the? or are those just servants of the goddesses???
also looking at their mortal followers Nayru could be a dolphin whale or shark for the Zora or some type of bird for the Rito, Farore could be a butterfly for the fairies or a horse due to link’s connection to them or even a wolf due to Twilight Princess Link, Din is a bit harder bc i havent seen much of ppl actively like. worshiping her or even acknowledging her in games sans Komali so basing off of Gerudo from Breath of the Wild perhaps a sand seal and or camel or for Gorgons from Breath of the Wild and Ocarina of Time some form of reptile like a salamander or even some form of bird bc of her connection to the Rito in Wind Waker tho idk much about that front
idk sacred animals or animal motifs in worship are always fun to think about, i mean hell look at goats and their relationship w/ Ordon Village due to Ordona! thats the type of interesting cultural incorporation i need to see w/ Hylia, Demise, Din, Nayru, and Farore!!!

Lasabrjotr Chapter 65: Like Peeling an Orange
Chapters: 65/?
Fandom: Thor (Movies), Marvel Cinematic Universe
Rating: Mature Warnings: NSFW
Relationships: Loki x Reader (There We Go)
Characters: Loki (Marvel),
Additional Tags: Post-Endgame: Best Possible Ending (Canon-Divergent), Loki Gets A Scolding, Sometimes Loki Should Not Do What He Wants, This Armor Looks So Cool In My Head You Guys, And A Fun Time Was Had By All
Summary:   Loki helps you into-and back out of-your new armor.
Your armor was finally ready. Loki pored over it, examining every minute detail. It had to be perfect. He had to make sure it was perfect.
The weavers and tailors had brought their best. The scaled plates of nornbein and steel had been removed from their original leather backing, and affixed to new; less bulky, more supple, to better fit your smaller frame. Each bit of metal had been embossed with beautiful swirling knotwork, some of them ancient Midgardian motifs.
The quilted silk tunic glistened like polished jade, soft but tough. It would peek out from under the armor here and there, offering protection from sharp things, and signaling your importance.
But the helmet-the crown-was a grand achievement of deceptive metalworking. It looked so delicate, constructed of dainty petals and leaves, affixed to a wide band. Long, gem-studded petals stretched over the top, overlapping ivy leaves trailed down the back to protect your neck, fiddleheads would cover your cheeks.
It looked as fragile as a real bouquet, but the smith had whacked it with a heavy mallet for Loki to see, and it hadn't left a dent.
“And if anyone tries to strike without a weapon, they'll lay their hand right open.” The smith had assured him. “The edges aren't sharp enough to cut just by touching, but with applied force, they certainly are.”
Loki gathered it all up, impatient to show it to you, to see you put it on, to see you take it back off, and he rushed to the kitchen to pick up some dinner that you could eat together. Preferably in front of the fireplace in his room.
The under-chefs greeted him with some amusement, wrapping up a simple dinner and a chilled bottle of that Icelandic fruit wine for you.
“So, is the Seidkona beginning a new project?” One asked politely. “A special Midgardian spell, perhaps?”
When pressed for what he meant, he became a bit nervous. “W-well, she rushed in here very excited about something, and asked for the largest glass jar that we had. We had some of those five-gallon pickle jars, so, of course we gave her one. She gave no suggestions as to what she was doing with it, but I've heard that some Midgardian sorceresses used to put their spells in jars, so we thought perhaps she was simply making a very large spell.”
“Don't worry about it.” Loki said. “I'll see what she is up to.”
Upon entering you room, he saw that you had placed your flowers-vase and all, inside the pickle jar, and covered the top with a tied down cloth. He set the bundle of armor and the basket of dinner down on your dresser.
“Darling, what-”
“Silvery Checkerspot.” You said shortly.
“I'm...not sure as to what you are referencing...”
You pointed at the vase inside the jar. More accurately at a fat, undulating worm, crawling up a flower stem.
“This creature?” He asked. “Does it offend you?”
“No, this is a caterpillar! It turns into a Checkerspot butterfly. They're pretty. Black and orange, with tiny white spots on the edges of their wings. Lacy. I used to see them and these caterpillars all the time. They're so beautiful. Also, and this is the important part-they don't live in Iceland.”
Your voice had gone a little hard, and Loki internally recoiled. You knew. This traitorous little orm had whispered his secret to you by very virtue of its presence. How could he have known that, among the no doubt thousands of species of butterflies in this world, this would be one that you were so familiar with? How could he have known that there were none here? And how was he to know to search for hitchhikers in the first place?
He'd been so high on success, and trying so hard to hold on to all the sensations that had been swimming in his head, that he hadn't spared a thought to looking out for creatures that would give him away.
And now you knew that he had been back to your home without you, and he was just now realizing how angry you might be about that. Very angry, perhaps. Betrayed, even. 'Never touch me or talk to me again' maybe.
Oh no.
Had he ruined it? He'd been trying to do something nice! How could he continually fail so badly at doing good things for people?
He hadn't always been so bad at this. It was one of the many things that had gotten lost on the way. One of the things unfairly taken from him.
Was it going to drive you away too?
“I thought you had gone back to Akureyri on your business. I figure Leynarodd could probably get you there and back in way better time than we made. But you didn't exactly say where you were going, and that's why isn't it? Letting me assume isn't the same as lying, is it? But Leynarodd can't get you across a whole ocean. God, when I woke up this morning in all that pain, I should have guessed...”
Loki flinched. The pain. He'd thought he could avoid it if he went while you slept, that he could do all this without causing you any trouble at all, but the trouble was all here anyway.
“What could have taken you back there?” You continued. “Couldn't have been just the flowers.”
“I...needed to understand you better.” He explained. “I needed to experience the world you lived in. The surroundings you grew up in. The land that shaped you. I needed to know it better. There's something I want to do for you, and I needed that information.”
“What thing?” You asked, sounding mildly skeptical. Loki's mind screamed at him to fix this, fix it right now.
“It's a special surprise, just for you.” Loki leaned down, placing both hands on your shoulders, gazing sincerely into your eyes. “Please don't be angry with me.”
“Oh, Loki.” You wound your arms around his neck. “I'm not angry. I'm sad I didn't get to go.”
He took the opportunity to hold you tightly to him, relieved that you weren't pushing him away.
“I'm sorry.” He said, possibly the first time he'd uttered the words to you. “Of course you miss it. I'll take you there, sometime. When it's safe. When we can walk the streets without having to hide. They honor you, you know. They've named a cupcake after you. They even seem to have accepted my involvement, though it might be no more than crass opportunistic commercialism. I saw no effigies of myself burning, though, so that's a good sign.”
“Dad and Tara tell me they've been spreading the word about my 'medical treatment', so everybody probably just thinks you're bad at being altruistic.”
Loki scoffed. “I suppose I'm not exactly famous for it...”
“You will be. You really seem to want to do big, great things. As Asgard grows, you'll be able to do more. You'll live so long that you'll have time to do a lot. Long term projects. I wish I could see-”
“Shhh. I'll show you everything.” Loki promised. “Don't you worry. What will you do with the worm?”
You glanced back at the pickle jar. “It's a big bouquet. And the caterpillar is in a late instar. There should be enough there for it to eat until it pupates. Then...I guess I'll let it go. They don't live long after  coming out of their chrysalis, and there's no more butterflies for it to meet up with, so there's no way for it to become invasive. The cold will probably kill it early, but that would have happened back in Iowa too. Sometimes they just get started late, and don't have enough time. This would probably have been the last flush of flowers that it would have found. So it's okay. I just want it to reach it's full potential, even if it won't have much time after that.”
Loki stroked your hair. Was that what it felt like to you, when you examined your lifespan in contrast to his? Like this larval creature, did you see your magical potential as something to be mastered, even if you wouldn't have many years to make use of it?
Could there be some way to prolong your time?
And if there wasn't, what would he do?
He released you and you glanced curiously at the things he had brought.
“Presents?” You asked. He scooped up the armor bundle and dinner basket.
“Of a sort. I thought we could eat in tonight. Your armor is finished. Would you like to try it on?”
You agreed, and he led you back into his room, down in front of his fireplace. Dinner first, little bite-sized tidbits that he knew you liked, fed back and forth, and a moderate amount of wine.
He could see just the tiniest bit of tipsiness shining in your eyes when he put the food and drink aside, and brought out your armor.
You marveled over each piece, rubbing your face against the shimmering silk, delighting in the little details all over the armor. Loki helped you put it all on over your dress, and then, he offered the helmet.
At first you were speechless, overcome by its beauty. Then you couldn't stop gushing over that beauty, interspersed with welcome thanks and much less welcome insinuations that you didn't deserve something so grand. You deserved everything. You deserved the moon and stars. You deserved every ounce of precious metal, every carat of gemstone, you deserved it all, if only because he wanted to give it to you.
He stood you in front of the large mirror, and with great satisfaction, lowered the helmet down onto your head. Like a reverent coronation, you stared at yourself, as if trying to recognize your reflection. Beyond the slight asymmetry of your face, which had never quite gone back to normal, there was now the new look of your perfectly tailored armor over top of your flowing skirt, all your beautiful jewelry, your precious knife, and this helmet, a crown fit for royalty.
You were no different in appearance than a noble goddess, one of the glorious Aesir. He could see you at the head of a battlefield, shouting orders and being obeyed, at the head of a table, presiding over a victory feast, at the head of a bed, holding a swaddled infant in triumph.
You had turned and could clearly see what was in his face, as he hadn't bothered to hide it. Maybe he wanted you to see.
“Show me yours.” You said-almost commanded, pawing at his chest.
He liked this side of you equally to the shy side. The side of you that demanded, that expected, that could be selfish. The side of you that made you run up and grab his hand in the first place.
He knew what you meant. Green light webbed over his body, replacing his comfortable tunic and trousers with his ceremonial court armor. You stared, breath becoming heavier, taking it all in. The stiff, thick cape, the tall horns, the complex Nornbein breast plate with all its interlocking pieces meant to mimic the scales of a snake-or the belly of a dragon. The built in scale tassets on the thighs of his fine, olive trousers, that just so happened to draw the gaze in a certain direction...
He watched your eyes drift downwards, slipping down the metal guides to their intended focus-he still couldn't believe his mother had never said anything about it-and grow round at the sight of him, lovingly cupped by taut cotton. Your tongue darted out to wet your lips.
You pressed close, and though he couldn't feel you much through all the layers, there was something just as exciting about the clink and weight of the armor as there was in the silky warmth of bare skin. He wrapped his arms around you, squeezing, and you smashed your mouth against his in hungry lust.
You nearly knocked him over in you eagerness to get him onto the bed, and he fell into a sitting position, laughing.
“Stars, you're beautiful.” He purred. “Powerful. Grand.”
He reached for his trousers, but you stopped him.
“Not yet.” You said.
“Not yet.” He repeated.
“Just this.”
You straddled him, your skirts hitching up around your thighs, and pressed very close. Now Loki could feel your warmth, cloth barriers the only thing separating you from his swiftly hardening member, the bulge of which you began grinding slowly against.
A soft groan escaped him.
His hands found your rear through your skirts, and your throat with his lips, delighting in the vibration of your pleased moans. The friction grew between you  as you drew away to gaze at him through heavy-lidded eyes; His armor, his helmet, whatever it was you saw that you liked so much had you throwing your head back and rolling your hips even faster.
And it was he who had done this. Merely existing, wearing a certain set of clothes, he had driven you to this frenzy of lust. Just because he wasn't truly inside you just yet, didn't mean this wasn't what it was. You were taking him as your own, and he was absolutely going to let you do it. Anytime, any way, however you liked.
Your moans grew high and ragged; Loki crushed you to his chest, bucking his hips. The friction, the heat, and the sound of your impassioned cries sent him spiraling into his own orgasm.
You held each other like that until your breathing slowed, and your bodies relaxed.
“Well. We should get you back out of that armor.” Loki said, voice slightly rough. “I'd say it more suggestively, but it appears you beat me to it.”
“You really don't know how sexy that armor is? Didn't anybody ever throw themselves at you while you were wearing that?
“Well...yes. But it didn't really matter. It wasn't you.”
You mewled an embarrassed little sound, and hid your face in the crook of his neck. Loki chuckled, running his hands down your body. Your new armor melted away into your comfortable and modest nightdress.
“Wow...Where did it all go?” You asked, wriggling in his lap, as his own armor faded into soft sleeping clothes.
“To your room, where your nightgown was.” He said, as you ran your fingers through his newly freed hair.
“Your horns are so handsome.” You murmured against his lips. “Just like you.”
He felt the bashful smile curl his mouth. “Will you stay with me tonight? He asked hopefully.
You nodded. “I'd like to. If you don't mind though, I need to play noise on my phone. It's been helping me sleep.”
“Whatever you need.” Whatever kept you by his side.
The two of you took a little time to clean yourselves up and prepare for bed, then snuggled down in the sheets together, holding and stroking one another. You set your phone up to play cicada song, and Loki watched you slowly fall asleep to its sawing.
Soon, his little project would be done, and you might never have to sleep away from him again.

Hi! Could I please get a ship with anyone from Hero, Endless Summer, and ILITW? I’m a 5’2” Ravenclaw who loves reading (especially fantasy and history), playing the violin, and musicals. I speak 3 languages and I’m known as a walking encyclopedia because I often talk about random facts with my friends. I’m going to law school and I hope to become a politician/lawyer in the future to fight for justice, equality, and human rights. Thank you!
I Ship You With…
G R A Y S O N   P R E S C O T T
• Okay so I totally ship you with Grayson! He would be so supportive of your future plans first of all. He’s always been very interested in the law field himself, so he’s completely admirative of your hard work and your dreams. He knows you’ll be able to achieve whatever goal you set your mind on because you’re so damn hard-working and intelligent. He admires your resilience and is your number one fan - just like you are his number one fan. He would also be super impressed by basically anything that you do, like for example your ability to talk so many languages and all the general knowledge you have. Everytime he has a question that’s not too technic, he asks you because you know so many things about such a large range of subjects that he’s sure you know the answer.
• When you get your powers, you’re very confused at first, not to say terrified, and have no idea who to turn to. You fear everyone will be scared of you or judge you for your newly-acquired abilities, like some kind of curse or a disease. Especially Grayson, who is rational and collected - he surely wouldn’t make fun of you, but wouldn’t believe you either unless you were very convincing. So at the beginning, you have no idea what you should do, until Grayson finds out about everything (probably because I don’t understand how literally no one put two and two together in this story like how could you call this a secret identity when everything you do is basically put glasses on blblblblbbl), and surprisingly enough, doesn’t run away in pure fear. He is bewildered at first, obviously, because it’s not always that you discover your significant other has superpowers, but he comes to terms with it fairly quickly, or at least more quickly than you imagined. He then proceeds to ask you a thousand questions about how it feels like, what you can do exactly, etc., and rather than explaining it to him, you show your powers to him, and he’s blown away! You also give him private fighting lessons bc the sight of him shirtless, his torso glistening with sweat and his hair tousled and mouth slightly open, is ;))))
D A X   D A R C I S S E
(send in faceclaims for poor Dax pls)• Your best friend and coworker would be Dax! You would get to spend time with him and talk to him at the office but also outside of work because he quickly becomes a close friend and one of your favorite people. You often go down to his lab to visit him, and technically, he’s not allowed to give you details about his experiments or precisely tell you what he’s working on… but let’s say you’ve broken that rule a few times a lot of times. He’s such a dork, shy but so loyal, and he sometimes has trouble expressing his feelings: you first understood it when he was a bit conflicted about hanging out with you, wanting to keep things strictly professional, but you are very good at convincing people and he finally agreed to relax and have a little fun. Even if you aren’t a social butterfly yourself, you’re the one who invites Dax to all the parties you have to attend - because you absolutely do not want to face so much social interaction alone, and most of the time he’s terrified, is sweating profusely in his suit and looks like he would rather be working on atoms than eating punch with God knows what inside. However, as the night progresses and you both loosen up a little, you see Dax dancing (yes, a very rare sight) with a goofy smile and understand he actually is having fun, and it was a great idea to drag him out of his laboratory to the light of the sun.
• He’s also very caring under his layers of awkwardness and clumsiness. He’s always the one who takes you home when you get a little too drunk at a party, even if you insist you’re perfectly fine and can take care of yourself - he doesn’t doubt it for a second, but you tried to climb a lamppost and quite literally ran into a dog so you might need a little help. He’s always there to listen to you play the violin when you’ve learned a new piece and you’re eager to play it to someone, and always has a sweet word for you. Being a Ravenclaw himself too, you bond over that trait as well, and you both take your Hogwarts house very seriously: in fact, it’s a matter of life or death and if anyone dares to insult your house, you will not hestitate to resort to violence, bitch. You even dress up with matching cosplays for Halloween or any disguise party because you’re that kind of dorks ;)
Q U I N N   K E L L Y
• I ship you so much with Quinn! I think you would make such an amazing, adorable and powerful couple! She would be completely infatuated with you as soon as she would see you on that plane and you would tell her a ridiculously bad joke to distract her from the turbulences outside. She laughed wholeheartedly despite the terribleness of the pun, and she instantly knew you were someone she was going to like. She didn’t expect to fall in love with you along the way, though. I think you would have the same reading taste, too! I can see Quinn being a huge bookworm, and her favorite genres definitely would be contemporary - it’s like a warm comfort, an embrace to tell her there’s nothing wrong with her disease and she’s perfectly valid the way she is -, fantasy - because there’s nothing more exciting for her than discovering a new world, a new universe with magic and adventures -, and romance. I can totes see her loving to death young adult books like Harry Potter, The Royal Romance The Selection Series and Sarah J. Maas’s bibliography. So you would always have recommendations for her, especially when it comes to good fantasy. For example, you’re the one who gets her into The Lord of the Rings and Narnia when she tells you she wants to read more classics, and when you’re still on La Huerta, you promise her you will have infinite bookshelves in your house for all of your paper friends.
• Headcanon because it was St. Patrick’s Day yesterday (as I’m writing this): going to Ireland with her because you both love traveling, and you not-so-accidentally end up in Dublin exactly on March 17th. Quinn knows what St. Patrick’s is like in Ireland because she’s already been there several times, but it’s a premiere for you and you’re amazed by all the lively colors, all the green that smudges the streets, the shops, the people’s cheeks, the Irish’s animated dancing, their bright accent and bright smiles, their conviviliaty. You’re thrown into a round dance more than once by gleeful strangers and Quinn is dancing with you as well, laughing and letting her long hair of fire spinning in the wind. She’s more beautiful than ever, and you’ve never been more proud of being able to call her your girlfriend. She’s also a massive sweetheart all throughout the day (I mean she always is, but especially on St. Patty’s) because she wants you to experience firsthand all the traditions and Irish quirks. That’s why she buys you beer at Temple Bar and happily dances with you, swaying and jumping to the beat of a street orchestra, a cello, a violin and a bagpipe, until your chests are empty and the moon is high in the sky, illuminating the festive buildings and your festive silhouettes.can u tell i LOVE dublin & irish ppl
S E A N   GA Y L E
• Your best friend would definitely be Sean! I can see you getting along very well because he is a complete sweetheart and also because he reminds me of Quinn on a lot of levels as well, so that same side that complements Quinn would complement Sean, in some ways at least. He loves how smart you are and always knows you’re someone he can turn to when he needs comfort or advice about anything, for example when he’s conflicted about his father issues or when he’s at a crossroads between football and his other duties, being torn between everything he loves. He also loves how passionate you are about equality and human rights! He doesn’t attend the same classes as you in college so he doesn’t really get to see you in action, talking and defending your point of view, but from what he’s seen and the meaningful conversations you’ve had about society and mankind, he’s pretty damn sure you would be a fantastic lawyer and any client would be more than glad to have you on their side.
• There’s also a lesser known side of you that is the mischievous, happy-go-lucky behavior, and the side that loves to pull pranks on your best friend and tell him jokes. Of course, you are helped by Quinn, who isn’t always so keen on the idea of making fun of someone, but agrees because she knows very well Sean won’t take it too seriously and it’s just some light-hearted fun that all friends have once in a while. It’s magnificent to have both of your creative minds on the task, because you come up with the most a w e s o m e ideas without them being too malevolent. For example, one day, you decided to transform his windowshield wipers into a rainbow paintbrush. Everything was neatly calculated: as soon as he would press the levers to wipe the rain from the glass, the small gouache you had stuck under the wipers would be harshly pressed, displaying all its colorful rainbow picture. Needless to say, he was very surprised when a bright, elliptic stain covered his windshield, and fortunately he was just about to leave the parking and not on the open road. He didn’t have to think about it a long time before deducing who were the culprits, though. It was pretty clear from the choice of motif and your flaming cheeks and laughter that it was indeed your idea.

• I ship you with Lucas! You would also bond thanks to your intelligence, something that definitely attracts him in a partner. You two are classmates, and you have known each other for a long time before actually talking. You started to get along when you where partnered up for a project in your history class, something that both interested you, and you quickly noticed that you had a lot of interests in common, and hit it off instantly. Conversations with him were fluid, funny and always interesting due to his impressive general knowledge and maturity, and his witty sense of humor. He, on the other hand, is also impressed by how well you use words, how convincing you are and how easily he was able to trust you after a few days knowing you. And he is totally impressed by your ambition too, like becoming a lawyer or a politician? that’s something he dreams of as well, but he’s not sure he will ever get the opportunity of achieving this, because he knows it takes so much years of work and he’s not sure he has the temper - but you? he definitely knows you will be amazing.
• He’s always someone you can vent to and that comforts you when you’re sad, disappointed, furious, frustrated, anxious or just very tired after a long day of school, or later, at work. You can always vent or rant to him and he will always listen to you loyally, because he knows you’ve been through a lot of shit that you don’t deserve at all and you should finally get your well-earned rest, thus he tries his best to be the provider of that calm. You’re not the most adventurous of couples per se, although you have your moments and don’t mind going out of your comfort zone every now and then, but most of the time you prefer to stay home and relax. However, you live your own adventures, just the two of you, in the crevaces of your home and the deep, eerie forests of your respective souls. It’s an ambitious journey to understand everything about your partner, and you know perfectly that you will never get to fully understand Lucas’s psyche even after spending years and years by his side, but he’s a enthralling example to live with and you’re thrilled to be his partner.
S T A C Y   G R E E N
• Your best friend would be Stacy! One again your ambition and your drive would be what attracted her to you in the first place. You would have such a supportive relationship, very healthy and mature, especially since you meet when you already are adults and not in high school. Of course, you had heard her name several times before, and had seen her in the hallways of Westchester High, especially since her mother was the mayor, but you never bothered to talk much, maybe to borrow a pencil or something. That is, until you become a politician yourself and Mrs. Green judges you would be a great influence on her daughter - she may have learned from previous mistakes, she can’t help being a little too concerned about her daughter’s life - and introduces you two. At first, she’s a bit cold and rude, because she didn’t even want that meeting to happen, but when she realizes how unfairly she’s been treating you and how kind you have been all along, she instantly apologizes and that’s the start of your friendship.
• You would teach her languages! I can see her being really interested in traveling, learning everything about new cultures, languages, religions and ways of life, and that’s a side of her that she keeps hidden because she knew it would be very hard for her to do as she wants in her life with the toll of her mother’s authority on her. So since she’s unable to actually travel all around the world, she asks you if you could, maybe, if you want to, of course… teach her a few basics perhaps? And you happily oblige, because you’re glad to help and know Stacy will be a very good student. At first, however, she gets easily frustratred due to the complicated grammar and all the vocabulary she has to learn to express herself. She half expected it to come naturally without having to work, just like everything else in life, but you make her understand that it’s not how you learn a new language, that she has to talk in that language, train her ear to recognize and understand it, and write a lot. It’s a bit tiring at first, but after a few months, she starts to pick up some good tools and eventually she’s able to maintain a regular conversation, so that’s a huge improvement, and she’s so thankful for it!

Okay okay so, it’s not like i just ended up listening to Stella on repeat again (but i just did) but i was thinking about the new songs in general bc, in Me Against the World, we see the reaction of the BB and MTC about how they lost the Rap Battles, and they both handle it with different degree and all, but we don’t see FP’s reaction at all to their loss, yet Stella is probably the biggest hint at their reactions to their defeat in a way the others new songs aren’t.
In fact FP doesn’t even spend time with their leader in Me Against the World, Ramuda is off being shady, while all the others divisions reflect on how they apprehended the rap battles, with the Brothers all feeling like they’re the one who failed their others brothers and having to lift each other up, Samatoki congratulating his Crew for bringing them this far with also a glimpse that what mattered to him was winning against Ichiro, and MTR being very responsible about their win and Jakurai thinking about the future/what the government is planning with some nostalgia for the TDD days and Ramuda and esp being doubtful of Ramuda.
And yeah meanwhile we have neat interraction w/ Gentaro and Dice but they don’t focus on the fact they lost on the first round at all (even if Jakurai reassures that everyone was v powerful and all), Gentaro and Dice are just off being... themselves and teasing each other and completely forget that the rest of the world exist and all, and it makes sense since they are the band that was formed in the whole “we live in the moment” so there’s no point ressassing about their loss, anyway.
While i don’t have the official translations of Dead Pools and Papiyon yet, there’s at least a few themes in the newest songs that i find kinda touching:
The Bros are immediatly back at being dorks and at uplifting their division with a radio show, they embrace the bit of starhood they’re getting to be happy representant of their divisons - the song is super cheerful and full of love with the brothers bickering and having fun.
I have no idea what Papiyon is about (this is written in katakana and it makes me wonder if it’s meant to be from the french “Papillon”? Which would be butterfly, ephemerical victory), but I doubt MTR has really reasons to be moody per se after their win, and i’m pretty sure at least Hifumi brings up celebrating their win with Champagne even if Doppo has his usual mental breakdown midsong.
For Dead Pools i can only focus on the English parts, which gives more a feeling of well, the opening line, “we haven’t done nothing yet” - that they are mentioning their loss but in a way of “we’ll be better next time you’ll see” way.
*punches a table* which expectingly brings me to Stella which already stands out for being a story written by Gentaro, that was said to explicit about how he saw the Posse - already out of the others song it is the most factually distached from what happened in their world, while being the most honest about the feelings and emotions developped within the song.
And even there i say that with a double edged sword bc if the theories saying Dice is Otome’s son is true (so him being the son of the current president who made a Coup d’Etat to get in power), the whole “Dice is a King” part of the song is even more insidious than just how Gentaro sees him (although i doubt Gentaro has any reasons to believe that from Dice and considering the Messiah part and how Dice’s motif is the motif of Salvation i do think Gentaro is just that enamoured with Dice (or, shipping goggles aside, at least sees Dice as the redeeming factor of the reeked group of misfits they are since he does have a low opinion of himself and doesn’t trust Ramuda completely while being fully aware of Dice’s honesty) but i disgress), and it explains this whole Dice’s verse. (Talking about how the rest of the countries had been destroyed by wars even if Dice is not there to have a hand on it, “A gate to the undone rule of might” is VERY SHADY considering this is LITTERALLY what Chuukiukou is, The whole Fugitive motif and the throne being far far away and that his ideals are just “a poison playing to the crowd” - If Dice is really Otome’s son the whole verse takes a whole grim turn)
ANYWAY i disgress again bc I could ramble for hours from then on, the also hints of the “hypnotizing history” and “trapping people in their social status” that Gentaro sneaked in his verse, and honestly between that and the novel Gentaro wrote about “twins being separated by the government” it feels like Gentaro criticize the Gov’ a lot in his fictions and it may explain a part of why the government is keeping an eye on him - or it’s the opposite and the reason he got the gov’s interest is why Gentaro is now vocal about it, buT
MY POINT
is that Stella is far more personal onto the three main characters about connecting each other,to create important bounds with each other because they are too alike to disregard each other, which imo feels a lot like trying to reach out to Ramuda (which they textually do in the song anyway) since Ramuda, while being the one who reunited them, is the one who keeps the most distance with them.
And then in the whole last part of the song (which was my initial point but i got lost along the way), is all about Keeping Moving Forward even while Still Making Mistakes - it’s the most frontal into admitting their defeat they could get, as a Mistake they made along the way, but it’s just a part of the path, and their future is far brighter.
And anyway i just find it very sweet that FP was the one band that neglected talking about their feelings in the Drama Track but is the one to express it in Song. Because it fits them perfectly doesn’t it? The guys who live in the present, who keeps hiding their troubles and who they truly are, but song, especially written by Gentaro, makes sense to get it out. If Gentaro’s character song is anything to get by, he can get much more blunt while he’s actually writting, while he can dress the truth up with all sort of lies to distract from it.
Hell i say that but i should look no further than when Ramuda recruit him, he tells him that the fiction he writes are always joyful and beautiful but “there’s always a sense of loneliness in them”. We know Gentaro tells lies and stories to cheer people up, to have them have fun, even if it isolates him further away.
So to have Stella a song about unification is already huge, but the fact is still that this song reeks in loneliness for the first three verses but then is all too united and is exactly what Gentaro needs catharist for aND especially, that the more lies Gentaro tells the more he can dress the truth up.
Gentaro uses a story like always to share his true feelings, something he wouldn’t face full front and this is where they address their loss by a hopeful insight in the future. That this is how they end up facing their defeat and their future.
I’ve ended up rambling but Stella does that to me
tl;dr it’s funny that FP is the only band that doesn’t actually show reaction to their defeat in the Me Against the World Drama Track, yet is also the band to address it the more bluntly in their song, yet it fits so much the characters, especially Gentaro who wrote the song, to exteriorize their feelings only as long as there’s enough “make believe” to hide them.
EDIT: and WHILE IM AT IT since half of my reasoning is there, Stella is probably the song that touches the most on the politics of their world than the others songs did, since again the fact you can dress up the truth with too much make beliefs make it easier to hide the critism, but i really don’t think any of the other bands is that frontal about criticizing the government on that regard?? but there i’d really need the rest of the translations to be sure. Anyway Stella is a masterpiece.
And i’m emotional over Stella all over again

Sonrisa Farm is an organic farm owned by Ms. Cherry Lo. “Sonrisa” is a Spanish words which means smile. The farm started 4 years ago but only has been in fully operation and open to public for 2 years. According to our tour guide, Ms. Bem, there were several students who have been passing by the farm years back and wanted to come in, later it had convinced them to make it an agritourism site.
The Sonrisa farm have been cultivating organic crops in the most natural way possible. No to harmful pesticides. Aside from growing the farm, they have been supplying now to several restaurants in different parts of Camarines Sur. With a 3.5 hectare of land, believe it or not, there are just a total of 6 workers(agriculturists/farmers) who are paid to tend the farm.

This is their receiving area where the visitors are received, welcomed and oriented before the tour starts. The owner wanted it to have native motif. The receiving area was once made of nipa but then a typhoon hit Bicol Region last December 2016 so they have it renovated, made it concrete but still remaining the native motif.
Now, I’ll be posting some photos I took while we have the tour around the farm and some stuff that I learned as well.  Weather is not quite good when we visited the farm but the tour went on. Nothing is gonna stop me from covering for the blog.
Here are some photos I took while we have the tour at the farm. Most of the photos here are already posted on my official Instagram account @kyna_dc

Among the crops that they cultivate are radish and lettuce while among the spices that they plant here are basil leaves and oregano.

This is what they call Mansanitas. I don’t know what they call it in English. They probably called it Mansanitas because it is like a small apple? Not really sure with this hypothesis. I’m just assumping since Apple in Fillipino is called Mansanas. Hahaha

Marigold. They said that the yellow flowers attract insects. Thus, preventing the insects from destroying the planted crops. Flowers serves more than for the beautification of landscape and aesthetics, they are more like insect attractants.

This is where the rice crops are planted. In this farm, they plant several types of organic rice (red, brown rice...). I should have brought my lola here, she will be delighted to hear that they plant red rice since she is into organic food too.

This is a function house where seminars, weddings, parties, retreats, recollections and other events were held. I wasn’t able to take photo of the interior because there isn’t much just an open space but as you can see, the owner did maintained to native motif in the architectural design of the function house. The receiving area was once like this too before the typhoon destroyed it. According to Ms. Bem, this function house can hold at least 80 pax. P700/pax inclusion are the meals, the venue and entrance fee.

This one is another function house. I wasn’t able to take photo of the exterior this time. Bigger than the first one. This could accommodate a maximum of 200 pax. The rate person and the inclusions is still the same. P700/pax with meals, venue and entrance inclusions.

I found wonderland and I got lost in it. Love this little vineyard. Well, not really a vineyard but close enough. There are small grapes but as far as I know, the grapes are not the the only vine growing plant in there.
Tumblr media
Here’s a little grapes. No picking just hold and take photo for documentation.

Soil covered with plastic to prevent weeds from growing and keep it healthy until used for plantation.

They have a little poultry that is growing little by little. Find the turkey. The turkey was said to be a gift to the owner so let’s just say that it is well taken care of. Safe from chances of being served to the guests.

They also have a little livestock at the farm. Sheeps. They are really shy. Either that or they see me as a wolf. They run away every time I try to get close to them for pictures.

Inside the butterfly garden. They only have few butterflies. Butterflies have short lifespan. They only have 8 days. After that, they die.

Back at the receiving area. Snack time. Because we’re really hungry, we forgot to take photo of the food still left untouched. This is the banana cake. So delicious, we wanted to take home the left over but got shy to ask if we can. Also, the Sonrisa juice extracted from several plant, among the plants I remembered they mentioned was talbos kamote. Everything here is organic.Yes to healthy living. During events held there, they all serve organic foods.

After the tour, we learned as well there are a lot of plans for this development in this farm. They are planning to put up fish ponds as well. The chapel is already in the works. There is still room for development at the farm. Thank you Sonrisa Farm for having us. It was fun-filled day full of learnings. Till next time. I will go back again some time soon.
