FORSAKEN OLYMPUS AU AAAUUUGGHHHH- 💥💥💥💥

Builderman- God of Creation, Forgery, and the Enforcing Deity of the Law (Inspired by: Hephaestus)

Shedletsky- God of War, Fire, and Ruler of The Heights (The Heights is basically just Olympus in this au. Inspired by: Zeus)

Dussekar- Titan of Magic and the Symbol of Protection (most shields and magic related items have Dussekar's sacred animal (deer) etched in them as a supposed good luck charm. Inspired by: Hecate and the Titans)

Taph- An immortal that serves under Builderman's (lack of) rulership, the supposed Immortal of Destruction and Flame (hc that he's a being forged in Shed's magic as a peace treaty between him and Builderman)

Guest 1337- Immortal, the Symbol of Victory and Hope, granted immortality by Shedletsky after saving his people in a war

Elliot- An Angel, the most hardworking one out of most the angels, granted divine healing magic by an impressed Dussekar (Inspiration: Hermes and Eros)

Two Time- Devoted follower of The Spawn (a deity not apart of the Pantheon), half-immortal, considering they have been granted two lives by The Spawn

Chance- One of the most richest people of the Capital, that was until he enraged a Demon lord (Mafioso) which forced him to leave most of his money behind and hide close to a God's domain (the village under The Heights)

Noob- A young mortal living in a small village at the bottom of The Heights, possibly the most normal out of the cast

007n7- Former Helldweller (Olympus equivalent of hacker) that's been living in the outskirts of the same village, working as a humble farmer that may or may not be associated with The Three Furies (the c00lkiddlings)

Lance is such an interesting character to me in part because of how the narrative wants to portray him to the point it becomes contradictory.

His "arc" is supposed to be "cocky and immature teenager grows from his need for glory into a reliable team member"

And he does! He becomes Keith's right hand man, taking charge in battle, covering the team's backs and becoming an emotional support for other members when the time was needed.

But he is also a Comedic Relief™

Other characters have comedic relief moments too, like Hunk's love for food, Pidge's excitement about tech, Keith being socially awkward, etc.

And as aggravating as Hunk's fat jokes can be they don't contradict the fact that he is a brilliant engineer and became a brave paladin. Keith's social awkwardness doesn't contradict the fact that he became a capable leader.

But then you have Pidge and Hunk, making fun of Lance being "naturally dumb", and then a space deity calling him "the dumb one"one moment then following Lance's orders in battle and having him give emotional speeches to others the other.

The writers want us to take him seriously and see he is growing only to make fun of him when its needed for a laugh.

I feel the episode The Grudge is a good example of this:

Lance finds a way to find where they left their Lions.

Hunk and Allura seem impressed but Pidge dismisses it.

That would be the end of it until later when Veronica is talking with "Keith" (actually a hacker pretending to be him) and the says "Lance has it figured out", Veronica then in a sarcastic way says "Lance, the navigation genius".

Keith agrees and that's what clues them about something being wrong.

Is it a joke about Keith being openly nice to Lance? A joke about Lance's navigation skills?

Either way, the joke is at his expense, even when early in the episode we see him actually suggesting a way to correctly navigate.

In the end what I'm trying to say is, that the writers want to have their cake and eat it too. Showing Lance growing and being capable but also making fun of him and not really having that much respect for his character.

I gotcha, loud and clear （＾ω＾） Although, I did have an idea for 07 comfort already, I'll just merge these ideas together and hope you enjoy! (Also wow, I did not realize just how fixated I was on "x Reader" until now but oh well)

The reader's pronouns for this will be They/Them~ (I apologize if you wanted only Pizzaburger and I will do another comfort oneshot for only them if you'd like with the same prompt, this is just me trying to write more lol)

Elliot x 007n7 (+ ChildDeity!Reader & C00lkidd) | Redemption and Family

You weren't sure how long you slept... But it was too long.

Rising from your slumber, you awoke in the Spectre's domain.

You remembered this place from tales your mother would tell you before she disappeared.

You didn't care much about it though... Until today.

You found yourself in a cabin, surrounded by Robloxians. You could guess by their looks that you weren't in your true form anymore.

Better for them honestly. But perhaps your calm reactions to everything and how you acted so casual about it all unsettled them.

They all attempted to tell you of the tales you already heard before. The killers, the Spectre, the agony. As if you forgot your mother's words.

To their credit, they didn't know anything about you. You looked like a regular Robloxian kid... Apart from the two pairs of wings sticking out of your back with two smaller ones also sticking out of the sides of your head.

"It's okay!" You told them cheerfully. "My momma already told me about the Spectre!" You watched their shocked expressions with slight amusement before stretching your wings.

Were you trying to show off? Yes. Were you trying to be subtle? Absolutely not.

And some of them were obviously less than surprised by it. But whatever.

As you were trying to use your usual abilities though, you were reminded of what the Spectre could do again.

You couldn't use over half of your abilities anymore. You were reduced to a mere demi-god and even lacking at that.

Awkwardly, you began to get to know them all, introducing yourself as a Deity with a wag of your spikey tail. It actually looked similar to that of one of the Survivors who seemed to take particular interest in you but you knew of him already so you paid him little mind.

What had your interest was the man you could possibly feel the most guilt from. 007n7.

Elliot had tried to tell you not to worry but instead you waited for the others to no longer pay you any mind before teleporting to the ex-hacker with a curious sparkle in your eyes.

He was quite startled but luckily kept himself quiet as he watched you. You looked barely older than 10 or maybe 11.

He just looked slightly uncomfortable so you backed away and asked him why he kept himself from the others.

You weren't exactly... Satisfied when Elliot came up behind you and picked you up with a forced smile.

"He's been exploiting a lot in his past, we don't hate him but we also can't really trust him." You looked disturbed at Elliot. Not from 07's past but from the way you could feel emotions inside of Elliot that were conflicting with each other. Robloxians with so many emotions clashing made you uneasy since you never learned how to handle that.

You could handle someone who was having negative emotions to help them feel better or someone who was overly ecstatic calm down for a change but Elliot was one of the few you couldn't figure out.

He felt a suppressed need for affection towards 007n7 and simultaneously distrust for him. It made no sense to you.

But before either of them could continue talking, you stretched out one of your bigger wings and covered Elliot's face, eliciting a light chuckle from 7n7.

"What the-" Elliot looked at you in shock as you pouted, pretending to be upset. Not like you weren't, just you were upset over a different reason than your words conveyed.

You practically leaped out of Elliot's arms and hugged 07 with a slight glare. "Then let him redeem himself!" You said- No, demanded. But you weren't using your otherworldly voice. That would've shunned the entire cabin.

Both of them gave you a confused look, you could've sworn you felt doubt from 7 but it switched to a slither of gratitude. You take what you can get. Especially in this weakened state.

Neither of them dared to protest, instead sighing as Elliot nodded and crouched down to be on eye level with you. "Fine, I'll try to see past our... Differences." He sounded slightly annoyed but you could tell a part of him was happy.

And that was luckily enough to satisfy you and you began to try and drag them both to the kitchen to get away from all the heavy noise.

If only you still had your Deity strength... You were just a child with special abilities at this point...

But your efforts weren't for nothing.

In only weeks did you manage to make Elliot and 07 friends. And the others seemed to follow up slowly. You were quite proud of your work and decided to summon a little menu of your own.

7n7 taught you how to do this when you were frustrated during a round about not being able to see what abilities you still had. You just knew you had enough left that you could only use 3 of during rounds and they kept randomizing so you would've been stuck figuring it out for the entire round...

And using this menu, you checked on your abilities. As if anything would chan-

... Something got added.

You were quick to interrupt Elliot and 7, who had been awkwardly flirting and being oblivious towards each other. You'd gag if you were capable of it.

But once you showed them the added ability, 007's eyes widened and you could tell he was fighting tears. You knew why.

Redemption; This Survivor is able to 'Redeem' a Killer and return them to any given form they had before becoming a Killer. However, this only lasts for half a round and will reduce the user down to minimal health and stamina. Cooldown is 2 days.

You didn't really care about the consequences on yourself, you already took death as a casual occurrence and would shrug off the pain after a bit, leading to you usually drinking some hot chocolate with the others or enjoying a snack.

What mattered was that the Spectre- For whatever reason- gave you one of your more powerful abilities back. Sure it came at a great cost but you had learned enough about the sad gay man taking care of you with Elliot by his side to know how useful this would be.

You'd just have to wait for a round where this ability would be available with C00lkidd as the Killer. You didn't want to bother growing paranoid over why the Spectre would allow you to do this.

But when everyone began heading off for their own cabins, you stuck around in secret to see if 007 and Elliot would finally make the move. If they won't do it near the others, they better use their chance with privacy to do it!

"Listen, I know you're nervous-" Elliot tried to comfort 07 but was interrupted. "Nervous is an understatement... Can I even look at C00lkidd when it finally happens? When I look into the eyes of the son I've failed?"

They were intentionally staying quiet, probably to avoid being heard in case anyone tried to slip back inside like you did.

"You didn't fail him-" "Of course I did... I could barely even raise him with what I had and now he's able to use my own chaos against me..."

If you hadn't known what he was talking about this would've been a lot more interesting...

"I practically doomed the kid just by existing near him-" "7." You and 007 both perked up at Elliot's sudden change in tone. He was suddenly more stern but softened into an affectionate look.

Yes! This would be the moment!

"He's just going to be happy to see you and you two get to reunite. It will hurt again afterwards but we're all here for you now. We'll help you through it. So stop blaming yourself."

You could tell 07 wasn't entirely convinced but it sparked a sense of hope. Wether that was hope over the others being with him instead of painting him as an outsider for once or just hope over seeing C00lkidd again, you couldn't care less.

At the end of the day, your purpose is to be a Deity and guide those around you to either balance or assist in their struggles. You're a being that could be called karma if you didn't have emotions and morals yourself. But why did you?

"You're too good to me, Ell..." 7 began wiping away the tears that were forming at the corners of his eyes. There was that flame of affection again.

That burning love that some might confuse for lust but with your vision, you knew it was love. The flames weren't the right colour to be lustful. Not that anyone would understand this 'passive ability' of yours anyhow.

Elliot just sighed, taking 007's hands and finally you were sure you'd get to see them happy with each other.

"Listen, I know this isn't the time but... Could I kiss you?" Elliot asked, making the ex-hacker flustered beyond belief. Mostly because the poor gay never expected someone to fall for him.

You should've probably tried to help him work on his self-doubt first...

But surprisingly, he just nodded and their kiss was a victory for you. Though, you couldn't react or move right now or they'd hear you...

Although, you did see your opportunity to slip out when they started getting a little more audible... You were not traumatizing yourself today...

Surprisingly, the Spectre seemed to work with you as hours later, you were in a round with your Redemption ability and who is the killer? C00lkidd!

You immediately went to find 007 and told him you'd try to find C00lkidd and to just work on the generators for now.

He went with your plan but you could tell even without his muscles being visibly tense that he was preparing himself mentally and even then had no clue if he was really ready for this to go well.

Surprisingly, Elliot was the one currently getting chased by CK. You were quick to swoop down and tell him you'd lead him back to 7n7 to execute your plan. You couldn't lose Elliot with your chosen abilities being nothing close to a support class this round but you also couldn't have C00lkidd running off and stop the chase.

Instead, you flew next to Elliot to guide him while CK was complaining about you being a cheater. "He's gonna thank you..." You muttered to yourself to avoid snapping at the other child.

Since when did you have a short temper..?

That being said, you were glad the other survivors decided to just get out of your way when you shouted at them not to attack. They were confused but they let you do your thing... Luckily...

And when you got back to 7, you could see he was only getting more doubtful as you quickly landed and let Elliot get a breather with 007 while you held out your hand.

You needed physical touch for the ability to work.

Both Elliot and 7n7 were hesitant about letting to stand in front of them like a shield but you trusted that it would work.

Although C00lkidd tried to grab you, you were quick enough to instead... Awkwardly hold his hand. It kinda hurt with his force...

But you were right to trust yourself.

A bright light had begun to surround C00lkidd. Like a cocoon around a caterpillar that only left behind a small, red child of similar size to you.

"What happened?" He asked in confusion, only looking on as 07 practically dashed to hug his son again. It was heartwarming and aching at the same time.

Wait... Aching? Sure, you just gave up almost all of your health but why were you...

How were you suddenly crying..? You weren't meant to be able to actually cry like this... Your tears weren't meant to be able to come naturally...

But Elliot was quick to offer you some pizza and a hug. Healing you and letting you... Be a child...?

Why did it hurt to watch this reunion with the Spectre not interrupting for once..? Were you...

Missing mom..?

Crap, that was probably it. You had emotions you couldn't handle and no one to reunite like that with... So you just quietly sobbed against Elliot's embrace, not even caring as he carried you over to 07 and CK, who were having a similar embrace but without the crying.

"It's okay! I'm not attacking anyone anymore!" C00lkidd sounded so cheery, like you weren't in the middle of what was supposed to be a dance of life and death.

Maybe the Spectre wanted to remind you your only family was gone. You were forced to grow on your own.

Or... At least that's what you thought.

Elliot just kind of patted your back and whispered to you. "Do you miss your family too?" He asked, misunderstanding why you were crying.

"I don't have any..." You meekly got out between sobs and you could feel the tension shift. Just not for CK.

"Then we can all be family! We'd have two dads and be siblings!" The way he said it shocked all three of you as you looked at him, even drying your tears for a moment as it sounded ridiculous but...

"Not like I'd want to say no to that..." 07 sheepishly admitted and you quickly regained your tears. Just not in a bad way this time.

This time... You were happy...

... And you'd gag again if you weren't crying as you heard Elliot and 7 kiss again. Although, CK did you the honours there.

Tbh I really don't like it when people put a blame or stereotype on a fandom.

I've seen people say that "Forsaken players/fans don't know where x character came from!!!" Largely when talking about the admin characters featured in Forsaken, mainly Shedletsky. I've also seen it being said with c00lkidd, with some people confusing other c00lkidds outside of Forsaken, such as TR:UD, as a child, when they aren't.

And yes, there is a layer of truth to that, but I've seen largely the opposite with people thinking the original characters in Forsaken, mainly Taph, were characters and admins of old roblox.

I believe the main reason people think that is due to Forsaken's extreme popularity, resulting in many fandom hoppers and game migrators to flood the fandom with zero desire or will to do research on the stuff the game is based off of, and making it a not-so-savory place in the larger spaces of the fandom.

And as much as this is hypocritical of me in this post, fandom hoppers as much as I've seen really do not have proper fandom etiquette, especially game migrators too.

People need to remember that Forsaken is a young game and young fandom, it was only released to the public as of late December of 2024 and has only been out for under a year. The fandom is still growing in culture even if it's popular in roblox spaces as of now, and honestly the Forsaken fandom has some of the most unique fandom culture I've seen so far.

Cause idk about yall but trying to come up with designs for 2 of the characters in the admin gang, Seranok and Merely, who aren't even explicitly stated to be canon but only implied, made me play Lumber Tycoon 2 for the first time and made me research about Christian demonology and the seven deadly sins.

I won't elaborate on what I was doing.

Here's one of my examples. The Forsaken version of Telamon. Telamon isn't a character in Forsaken, only a Shedletsky skin that was added fairly recently, which I presume to be around the Taph update.

In roblox lore, Telamon is practically a deity of roblox and also the equivalent of Santa Claus. Telamon, in reality, is Shedletsky's old account that he used for a while before making the Shedletsky account his main account.

Telamon isn't a Forsaken character, but in the fandom he is, specifically with Telamon and Shedletsky being the same person. Telamon is basically Shedletsky's deity persona, and also Shedletsky is often portrayed AS a deity in general within the fandom.

In my opinion, Forsaken is honestly a good first exposure to roblox culture, specifically a good way to expose and introduce people to roblox myths, hackers, and admins and gives people the opportunity to do research on old roblox stuff and possibly even create their own roblox fandom.

Roblox yaoi does things to you, man.

Characters

Dawn (she/her) • THE REBEL

A rebel and a hacker. Possibly the sole reason you’re awake today, too. She hates deities but seems desperate to get rid of the God of War, even if that involves working with you.

Bruno Lee (he/him) • THE HISTORIAN

Bruno may call himself a historian, a curious old soul in search of unveiling the secrets of the past. But given the fact that he's the only other being locked away with you, there must be more to him.

Vex (they/them) • THE CYBORG

Vex—who also goes by V—is a law enforcer who seems to be more metal than flesh. They represent the crude reality that time has moved on without you. Though V claims they're loyal to their God of War, they've been roped along to help their little sister Dawn.

Amara/Aiden/Asher Moonless (she/her he/him or they/them) • THE LOST ONE

Your memory fades and wavers but you remember A (how could you not). You know they're not the same person you were oh so close to so many centuries ago, but their similarities are eerily noticeable.

Estelle ‘Eris’ Lawrence (she/her) • THE CELEBRITY

Also known as The Voice, Eris is an actress, singer and model. She's every teenager’s daydream, the vivid representation of rags to riches. And, according to Dawn, a valuable ally to have by your side.

Seth (he/him) • THE GOD OF WAR

Your killer and enemy. You knew him once, or so you thought. All that your relationship with him got you was a sword through your chest.

Some Archie Character Reboot Ideas.

I've been thinking more about the return of Sally and The Freedom Fighters. Be it another reboot, a revival, a new show, IDW or even the games.

These are some ideas that have come to mind for me on any possibility.

First there's Nicole.

If Nicole got rebooted in any shape or form, I can see her as a hacker who assists Sally against Eggman in many ways. I also see her as a bit of a shut-in, due to her past prior to being adopted by Sally's family.

She strikes me as someone who could be socially awkward, and I imagine that in this timeline, she'd be an adopted sister for Sally, and fully Mobian rather than a computer.

I can imagine Sally being the only person she's comfortable talking to, but anyone else would be met with hesitation. As an homage to her shut in nature, I could see her using holograms or radios to speak with others, akin to how she first appeared.

If anyone could get Nicole to open up, it would be Sonic himself. He's very good at talking to others, when he wants to be. He's not the best for conversation himself, but his kind nature would be alluring for someone like Nicole who could just use some comforting words.

Nicole's backstory of being a shut-in hacker is partially inspired by a Persona 5 character by the name of Futaba Sakura.

A good friend could go a long way. I wouldn't mind if Sonic played the role that Ren Amamiya/Joker played in getting the shy girl to open up. Soon Nicole could have friends like Tails and Amy, just like Futaba eventually had friends in The Phantom Thieves.

I do feel like Bunnie's cybernetics would be Wispons this time around rather than actual cybernetics. It would fit the current direction that Sega is going. Just keep her southern charm, and you have potential for something good.

I can't see Antoine ever using a laser sword, even in a reboot he will stick with a classic sword. He believed his sword to be superior to the Z-Saber that Zero uses, and Zero is an iconic Mega Man character who's strong enough in his own right. That speaks volumes of Antoine's confidence in a sword.

I also believe that Monkey Khan should return somehow. Given that Chun-Nan exists, he could easily come back as a resident of that country, or even the Ruler of Land here. He has a lot of potential as a character.

Give him his own Freedom Fighters too, like the ones from the Archie Reboot.

If anything, they could borrow much more from Sun Wukong, the very character he's based off of. Imagine him going against Gaia the way Sun Wukong would against any deity that defied him.

Of course the Freedom Fighter story would just be an origin of them wanting to keep their town safe during the Phantom Ruby Incident. I imagine Sally has seen Infinite on multiple occasions.

Sonic Forces was just made for the Freedom Fighters' potential return. The fact that Sally and Bunnie cameoed in one of the comics is proof of that. Pictures only, but still worth mentioning.

And of course The Freedom Fighters would be allies with The Diamond Cutters should they appear in IDW. I can even imagine Sally as a mentor figure to Lanolin. Though I imagine it would be predated by a lot of bickering. Lanolin is stubborn and doesn't always listen to others, but may come to respect Sally while Tangle just admires her and Whisper respects her.

Then there's Mina Mongoose and Fiona Fox. I imagine their stories would cross paths with one another. Mina's good nature could balance out Fiona's cynicism, while Fiona is tough enough to watch out for Mina should she be too naive.

Mina's personality would be her cheerful and loving nature, while Fiona would be a nihilist due to old traumas, but not too anti-social. She just keeps a distance from everyone, except her best friend Mina.

I can't see any romance between either of them or Sonic, and that's fine. Last time there was, both girls ended up getting screwed over somehow and mistreated.

Mina would not be a pop idol per say, but it's a dream she's working toward while Fiona is still a medic.

I can see Mina at least admiring Sonic for his free will, while Fiona may find him a bit irritating.

Out of the Diamond Cutters, I can see Mina being best friends with Tangle and the two would interact a lot. All the while, Fiona may mess with Whisper a bit, but the two may find time to bond later.

They would also befriend The Freedom Fighters and be official members. Fiona's medical skills would come in handy more but Mina has plenty to offer.

Surge and Kit would be a fun interaction. Fiona might find the duo unsettling, and a look into what life she could have had if she had not befriended Mina.

Surge's personality around Fiona could mirror Scourge. Difference is that it's less likely to be romantic, and more that Surge wants to befriend Fiona, but their friendship is very toxic.

Surge could end up jealous of the bond that Fiona and Mina have with the other Freedom Fighters, The Restoration, and Sonic's friends.

When it comes to Tails, I can see Mina really admiring his intelligence, and wanting to be his friend. She may also find him really small and cute and dote over him.

Fiona may like Tails too, but that may take time. I can see her being annoyed by him at first, likely to call him childish insults (i.e. Twerp), and just mildly bullying him. She still has a soft spot for Tails though.

Lastly when it comes to Sally herself, she is the leader of her Freedom Fighter friends in their village of Knothole. They protected their town from Infinite and Eggman to the best of their abilities.

As mentioned prior, Sally could form a bond with Lanolin and in time be one of her dearest friends.

As also mentioned before, she'd have her big sister/little sister bond with Nicole. and always be ready to protect her.

She'd be a brave girl that goes after badniks, be it with Whispons or just on her own. She might even have an intensity that rivals Princess Peach in the old comics.

Like seriously, it's easy to forget how intense Princess Peach was in the old Mario comics (Or Toadstool as she was called at the time). Imagine Sally having this type of drive. Or maybe it might be too much.

I can also imagine Sally being in the movies as a girl who met Sonic once upon a time. Maybe they were childhood friends, maybe they knew each other in passing, but should Sally ever appear in the movies, there's plenty of story to be told.

I can imagine a situation similar to the anime Zatch Bell, where Sally is the one telling Tom and the others what Sonic was like back home, as she would be the only one from Mobius to know anything about him, even if it's something minuscule, like Tia having to explain Zatch's home life to Kiyo. She didn't know everything, but she knew enough.

I don't know what will happen regarding romance. In a perfect world, Sally is with Sonic. They are, for me at least, the definitive Sonic pairing in Sonic media. Like Superman and Lois Lane. Like Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson. Granted I prefer someone like Kitty Pride for Peter Parker, but you get my point.

Sonic and Sally are just it for me. But I know that Sega may believe differently. Be it the games, the comics, or the movies, Sonally just may never happen. That doesn't mean fans can't have some sliver of hope. Optimism is good, but be ready to accept reality.

I can see three potential replacements for Sonic if romance doesn't work out between them. Note, this is not mandatory for Sally, she doesn't need to be romantically paired off. But if they feel the need to, there are options.

First option, Monkey Khan. Back in Archie, I did not like the pairing between Sally and Ken. It was typical love triangle drama that did not need to be there.

This time around, there is no worry of that. Ken is there with his own story, and the romance thing could just be on the side or merely hinted at. If they want to go all in, they can do so without Sonic being pulled into that drama.

Option two is Mighty the Armadillo. The relationship between Sally and Mighty could mirror SatAM Sonally, without it being a complete copy. Maybe Sally's more chill, or Mighty is just a less hyper version of SatAM Sonic. Point is, there's potential.

Option three, one of my favorites, is Sally with Ray the Flying Squirrel. I feel like he'd know how to be that perfect mix of Adventurer and Freedom Fighter. He loves thrills, but shows some caution in doing so. I think Sally and Ray have potential for a good bond.

We could just skip the romance, or have Sally with a one-sided crush on Sonic. Sonic may never end up with her, but I can see something similar to Final Fantasy 7 with Cloud, Aerith and Tifa.

There was no major love triangle drama with them. Tifa and Aerith were good friends, and Cloud just have to make a choice eventually. It can be a nice running gag in the games and the comics.

None of this is fool proof, but it's better than nothing. Sometimes you just gotta take a chance, just be wise about it.

This is just more of my head canons on how to use the Freedom Fighters in the games, comics or movies. Or any other media. Perhaps one day, they truly can return.

so like. what is majora's mask about (is one of like 3 people who's dodged it on the internet somehow)

ohHO you’ve made a mistake

the basic gist of it is that the moon is about to crash into the earth and you have 3 days to stop it. nevermind being physically or cosmologically realistic that’s not important right now but Moon’s Haunted. not normal moon evil moon. it’s all the work of this like chaos deity or w/e named majora who’s working through this little imp kid known as skull kid bc of the haunted mask he’s wearing. how do you stop the moon from falling? easy. awaken four giants and get them to literally hold up the moon. push that thang back into the sky. did i mention it’s freaky and scary btw. not normal moon.

btw there’s a clock at the bottom of your screen perpetually ticking and at the start of each day you hear a bell tolling which is fun. it’s where these memes come from!

here’s the thing though. you cannot possibly realistically do all of this in 3 days. not unless you’re a hacker or speedrunner who’s built different. so what can you do? well as a matter of fact you can play a magic song on a magic instrument that resets time to the beginning of the 3-day cycle. and you can do so anytime! so yay you can just reset infinitely!!

except that comes with a price. only certain parts of your progress get saved through your time-meddling. you lose most things- money, common items, dungeon quest progress, npc questline progress- when you reset time. if you’ve completed a dungeon or earned a mask (collectibles which you put on to unlock special abilities) those remain in the new timeline but other than that a reset is a reset. so you have to be careful you’ve seen a quest all the way through before going back through time. if you find yourself running short on time but you aren’t done with something you’re either going to have to scrap that precious progress and play the song and try again orrrr let the moon fall and game over lol. so it’s really like. your time is simultaneously infinite and limited.

^uh oh sisters!

you can help the people around you, all of whom have rich inner lives and great characters (in reference to both the main quests and the many incredible side quests which this game is known for), and you may get to keep the fruits of your labor from each endeavor (the magic masks you get, or weapon upgrades, or like. the giants being awakened), but then you reset time and their problems come right back to them. and you know that there’s nothing you can do for them because you simply do not have enough time to do all of this in 72 hours so one way or another you have to abandon almost everyone. you get all the material progress you need but in terms of the underlying story you just have to move on through life with the knowledge of all that suffering…

oh and did i mention the part where the moon is falling??? yeah that’s like. on top of the other personal problems people already have, some of which are related to skull kid’s other mischief and some of which aren’t. the moon. it is always hanging above you

yeah people around town aren’t ignorant of that. some people panic. others are in denial. some people are convinced that if they just do this and that it’ll all be fine. there’s a somewhat political aspect to the arguments in clock town (the heart of the game’s map) where some people are insisting they’re in danger and the mayor needs to order an evacuation and some people saying hey shut up don’t be silly! are you really gonna distract us from our super special carnival we’re about to host? you’re just trying to control people with your conspiracy theory! it feels a lot like a sociopolitical commentary on how different people react to crises. panic, acceptance, denial, trying to take control, drinking away your sorrows, embracing it, still holding onto hope, etc

but by day 3 nobody is denying it anymore. there’s just pure dread. not even evacuation is gonna save you because let’s be real the entire planet is done for. straight up it is the end of the world and there’s nothing anyone can do. you can’t fight the moon. the giants are the only hope and link is gonna fix everything but it’s not like the people of termina know that. so like the apocalyptic, despair-filled atmosphere is heavy. masterpiece of storytelling tbh

a few more things to mention:

-most of your masks are just optional quality of life upgrades or stuff for one very specific sidequest or just a trophy etc. but the main mechanics of the game involve transforming into the other races of hyrule- aka you can become a little tree guy, a fish guy, and a rock guy, by equipping the proper mask. as a matter of fact you start the game by having skull kid mug you and then like curse you into becoming the tree guy so you get to have a body dysmorphia moment for the entirety of the first 3-day cycle before you can break the curse and change freely. oh but fun fact about those masks. yeah those are inhibited by the souls of real actual people of those races who died tragically and their loved ones don’t know they’re dead and they’re convinced you are them. yeah.

oh btw if you get all the masks you can trade them in at the end to unlock a new transformation mask (implying you’re channeling some new mystery spirit. oh boy) called the fierce deity mask and it’s insanely powerful and makes short work of the final boss and we know nothing of the fierce deity’s lore which is a little scary. yippee!!!

-just in general both games (this is strictly speaking the second of a duology) very much have the recurring juxtaposition of childhood vs adulthood and the traumas of both. the plot of the first game involves being suddenly aged from 10 to 17 (you’re put to sleep for 7 years instead of being oh idk trained or something) and you just have to adjust to life as a child in an adult’s body. (and they’re like ‘wow cool congrats on being a grownup! :D’ as if that isn’t horrifying) then at the end just as you’re getting used to it you’re forcibly returned to being a child and now you’re an adult (kind of) in a child’s body. as a child you’re belittled and as an adult you have people making demands of you that you aren’t ready for and you’re both and neither. but now you’re definitively a child and get to have your childhood back right? yeah no. there’s no going back home anymore after everything that has happened. also one of your last remaining friends just left and now you’re trying to find her desperately. that’s the context going into majora’s mask.

-skull kid himself makes me sad because he’s not even evil he’s being controlled by majora. he is mischievous absolutely and it’s still partially his fault of course but the real him would never do all this. he ultimately just wanted friends and attention and fun and it manifested itself in a bad way (kinda reminds me of ventus in khux with about like 20% more culpability…). you get to be his friend afterward plus his two little fairy friends so yay! gotta say goodbye though.

-the two fairies are a brother sister duo. the sister (tatl) gets stuck as your companion bc she took the time to stay back and bully you extra hard at the beginning of the game and accidentally got separated from the others lol. by the time you catch up to them she wants to stay with you anyway. her brother (tael) stays with skull kid but like he isn’t evil he provides valuable intel to you but he’s just loyal to his friend. anyway tatl warms up to you which is nice and i adore her… but of course you have to say goodbye to her too :(

so in short to summarize the vibes:

what if you were a terrified lonely child experiencing layers upon layers of dysmorphia and trauma searching for your last friend and a giant moon with a face was about to fall and crush the earth and you alone were the only person who can save everyone by reliving the same three days over and over again, racing against the clock each time, making new friends and solving problems only to have to toss most of it down the drain with each reset, witnessing the fear and dread around you, feeling the weight of the world on you… just. man. lemme share some music too

. x this is the clock town theme. bright and cheery on day one, kind of hollow on day two (it rains that day), by day three it sounds frantic with an ominous undertone. denial and panic etc

x this is the theme that plays between midnight and 6am on the last day (fourth day i guess? the cycle starts at 6am on the first day so the last 6 hours before the dawn of death are technically a fourth day). at this point there is no denial in the world and this track plays everywhere in the world at that time. the world is ending. this is such a masterpiece of a somber track i found the best version i could that included the clock tower bells

x theme that plays when you finally summon all four giants to epically stop the moon after heaven knows how many cycles. no more smug skull kid no more despair it’s time!! baby!!!!!!

x this is the song of healing, another magic song that helps undo corruption in various forms throughout the game (it’s taught to you by a shady weird fellow known only as the happy mask salesman. love him.) it’s such a beautiful track that really kind of symbolizes the heart of this game- yeah it’s dark and scary and chaotic but at its core it’s about healing and hope, recovering from trauma, learning to live again… link manages to do it!!! he saves the world! and while he doesn’t stay in clock town he has a good time with his friends while he’s there. he gets to breathe for a bit. not every problem can be fixed but there is a new tomorrow nonetheless. acknowledge the hurt and work through it. gorgeous

So the "figments of the survivors imaginations" was the wrong word for it but i mean like. The spectre made some weird evil clones of the "killers" based off of the survivors fears/perspective of people?

Like. The REAL 1x, C00lkidd and John Doe weren't actual killers in the real world but 1x and CK were hackers who caused mischief and chaos, but any deaths from 1x were accidental and C00lkidd wasn't powerful enough to do any irreversible damage (such as death and etc) and John Doe was just a regular guy but was heavily suspected to be a hacker by the general public despite not doing anything, so the spectre created a "confirmation" of the admins/deities of robloxia (Builderman, Shedletsky, Etc.)'s fears, but it's actually just a clone of him and the real-world John Doe is still alive and happy with Jane

-Has a southern accent. It's not thick but it is noticeable. 

-Decently muscular.

-His physical body looks like a middle-aged dude, but Builder has existed for an insane amount of time. The Admins are not gods, but they aren't regular mortals either. 

-Was the first Admin. He actually created the admins as a group, along with Roblox HQ to keep some semblance of peace in Robloxia. Before the admins, Robloxia was an incredibly chaotic and dangerous place, with hackers, exploiters, mythical creatures, aliens, demons, angels, deities, gods, and a million other things running around doing whatever they wanted. The admins and Roblox HQ are like the SCP foundation but to a lesser extent. They don't go out of their way to deal with the supernatural, as they also function as the law/government, but they do try to keep the insane reality breaking dudes away from the general populace. 

-Builderman is really, REALLY good at Luatongue. This in addition to his creative thinking made him extremely powerful pre-Forsakening. He may have looked like a normal Robloxian, but he was an admin mainly because he was born with what was essentially divine knowledge that translated to god-like powers. However, when The Spectre took him to its realm, it made him forget nearly all of the Lua he knew, causing him to lose a nearly all of his power. 

-^Despite his extreme natural proficiency with Lua, Builderman is not the prophet, as he isn't able to effectively share what it means with others. Lua is less of a "language" and more of a way that the beings within Robloxia can manipulate the very fabric of Robloxia itself. For anyone who isn't the prophet, telling someone who doesn't have a natural connection to Luatongue how to use it is nearly impossible. It's not even known how the prophet is supposed to share Lua with Robloxia, only that they will have some special ability to do so. 

-^Has notes that he works on periodically of what he can remember about Luatongue. Usually, "working" on these notes entails him sitting somewhere racking his brain for any scraps of it he can remember, jotting it down, and then pondering over the notes to try and gain back more memories of it. 

-^Builderman's knowledge of Lua was among one of the few things that The Spectre couldn't directly prevent the forsaken robloxians from using. The Spectre may be an extremely powerful entity, but it is, by a long shot, not powerful enough to override the code that is the very foundation of the universe. It had actually written off getting a hold of Builderman completely before it got the idea to make him forget Luatongue, and even that was extremely difficult for it, especially since he fought back against being taken by The Spectre, which it wasn't used to it's victims being strong enough to do so. The only reason it managed to pull it off was because Builderman was so focused on his fight with The Spectre and simultaneously resisting it's attempts to transport him to it's realm, that he didn't realize that Spectre was altering his mind as well until it was too late.

-Builderman cannot directly destroy things with Lua; he is only able to create. It's easy for him to work around this because he can just. create something destructive. But Builderman can't straight up use Luatongue to destroy. 

-When he was younger, he created a "focus" item of sorts. It was a trowel, and while it looked normal, it had a certain energy to it. Builderman created the trowel because while he had an unheard of ability to use Lua, he didn't have fine control over his powers. Without the trowel, he can make a wall. With his trowel, he can make a castle-sized wall, or a wall fit for a dollhouse, or even a regular wall the size of what would be in a house, of any color imaginable, and made out of whatever he'd like. 

-^ a secondary thing the trowel does: anyone holding it will be able to walk in the air at will. When he made the trowel, Builderman gave it this property so that he'd be able to get better views on whatever it was he was making at the moment. After he started taking on the role of the regulator of Robloxia, it turned out that being able to basically fly was really useful. 

-^sometimes when he was younger and just messing around, he'd stand like. Fully horizontally in the air just for the laughs. #1 at the lying down game /j 

-^obviously, he doesn't have his trowel with him in The Spectre's realm. Builderman had a deep emotional attachment to it, and misses it sometimes. 

-Even without the use of his weird god-language-powers, Builderman is really good with tech and engineering-type stuff. 

-He naturally has the general vibe of a leader, and this combined with his role pre-Forsakening means that the survivors will nearly always listen to him and do what he says. The other admins also have some authority, but he's got the most. 

BUILDERMAN HEADCANONS WOOHOOOO!!!! he 100% has a slight southern accent. He feels like the type of guy to have one.

Been thinking about my Cybersites AU, and I had to reread my old post on it to be make sure I'm not repeating myself, buuut

I've thought deeper on Motherboard and Matt[hias]' relationship. He's her hero of prophecy, and she believes he'll win through the power of the mind. She still has a soft spot for the trio as I originally said, but also has high expectations. I think her years as a weakened deity has harden her alongside the betrayal of her son. They have to outsmart The Hacker, so she sometimes grows annoyed when they "allow" themselves to become distracted by other problems in Cyberspace. Her people do not respect her and her last attempt in bettering Cyberspace will result in her already weakened form poisoned and essentially imprisoned.

I've been struggling with figuring out what Matt and his mother are the 'Gods of.' Greek Mythology is so complex and intricate and there's so many versions. If allow myself to not worry too much on it, I'd like his mother to be a Goddess of Strength in Unity. Maybe, Togetherness, which is why she wants the Gods of Mt. Olympus and Motherboard to work side by side again. I do want to change the idea that Matt inherited his strength only from his father and make his mother super strong as well. I've been playing with the idea of Matt being a little demi-god of Comedy and Math. Or perhaps part of his identity crisis is that he doesn't know where his talents lie. Motherboard puts an importance on the mind, so he may strive to just be intelligent and clever. Which he is. But he doesn't feel its his strength.

For Jackie, I mentioned her being afraid she'll be unable to fulfill her story. But I think with how I imagine HEA, she doesn't actually know what story she belongs to. She may even fear she doesn't belong to any story. Or perhaps worse, that she's a villain in the making. All her anger she feels towards her mentor and the other fairies makes her fear she'll become someone like the Wicked Fairy of Sleeping Beauty's tale.

If I were to include Chip, I think this would be a great way for the two to bond. I also imagine they may be more of a recluse in this AU… Idk <3

anyways I'm gonna rant abt Noli because I really love him. NO I dont just like noli because I have an obsession with people who are myth/deity's or somewhat jester like. I love his story, his LORE. Noli first started being a myth and actual hacker in 2009 one year before I was alive. After getting banned, he ended up coming back around 78 more times, EACH with different accounts. That is when his cult formed. Noli was praised and worshiped for his power and resilience towards the band he got.

Currently from my knowledge all of his accounts are deleted as of 2025 besides one. One account which I have sadly lost the name of but am searching for. The account is still active, rarely, though he doesn't hack or cause problems anymore that's known of.

There are still small groups/cults for Noli which I actually currently snuck into one and have been monitoring/researching. I love Noli for who he is and his persistence. His cult "The Void." Not being active as much, but smaller Noli worshipers have broken off into lost or quiet aroups and spaces which I’m still working on finding. Thanks for reading my rant 😍
