Dawn (she/her) • THE REBEL

A rebel and a hacker. Possibly the sole reason you’re awake today, too. She hates deities but seems desperate to get rid of the God of War, even if that involves working with you.

Bruno Lee (he/him) • THE HISTORIAN

Bruno may call himself a historian, a curious old soul in search of unveiling the secrets of the past. But given the fact that he's the only other being locked away with you, there must be more to him.

Vex (they/them) • THE CYBORG

Vex—who also goes by V—is a law enforcer who seems to be more metal than flesh. They represent the crude reality that time has moved on without you. Though V claims they're loyal to their God of War, they've been roped along to help their little sister Dawn.

Amara/Aiden/Asher Moonless (she/her he/him or they/them) • THE LOST ONE

Your memory fades and wavers but you remember A (how could you not). You know they're not the same person you were oh so close to so many centuries ago, but their similarities are eerily noticeable.

Estelle ‘Eris’ Lawrence (she/her) • THE CELEBRITY

Also known as The Voice, Eris is an actress, singer and model. She's every teenager’s daydream, the vivid representation of rags to riches. And, according to Dawn, a valuable ally to have by your side.

Seth (he/him) • THE GOD OF WAR

Your killer and enemy. You knew him once, or so you thought. All that your relationship with him got you was a sword through your chest.

so like. what is majora's mask about (is one of like 3 people who's dodged it on the internet somehow)

ohHO you’ve made a mistake

the basic gist of it is that the moon is about to crash into the earth and you have 3 days to stop it. nevermind being physically or cosmologically realistic that’s not important right now but Moon’s Haunted. not normal moon evil moon. it’s all the work of this like chaos deity or w/e named majora who’s working through this little imp kid known as skull kid bc of the haunted mask he’s wearing. how do you stop the moon from falling? easy. awaken four giants and get them to literally hold up the moon. push that thang back into the sky. did i mention it’s freaky and scary btw. not normal moon.

btw there’s a clock at the bottom of your screen perpetually ticking and at the start of each day you hear a bell tolling which is fun. it’s where these memes come from!

here’s the thing though. you cannot possibly realistically do all of this in 3 days. not unless you’re a hacker or speedrunner who’s built different. so what can you do? well as a matter of fact you can play a magic song on a magic instrument that resets time to the beginning of the 3-day cycle. and you can do so anytime! so yay you can just reset infinitely!!

except that comes with a price. only certain parts of your progress get saved through your time-meddling. you lose most things- money, common items, dungeon quest progress, npc questline progress- when you reset time. if you’ve completed a dungeon or earned a mask (collectibles which you put on to unlock special abilities) those remain in the new timeline but other than that a reset is a reset. so you have to be careful you’ve seen a quest all the way through before going back through time. if you find yourself running short on time but you aren’t done with something you’re either going to have to scrap that precious progress and play the song and try again orrrr let the moon fall and game over lol. so it’s really like. your time is simultaneously infinite and limited.

you can help the people around you, all of whom have rich inner lives and great characters (in reference to both the main quests and the many incredible side quests which this game is known for), and you may get to keep the fruits of your labor from each endeavor (the magic masks you get, or weapon upgrades, or like. the giants being awakened), but then you reset time and their problems come right back to them. and you know that there’s nothing you can do for them because you simply do not have enough time to do all of this in 72 hours so one way or another you have to abandon almost everyone. you get all the material progress you need but in terms of the underlying story you just have to move on through life with the knowledge of all that suffering…

oh and did i mention the part where the moon is falling??? yeah that’s like. on top of the other personal problems people already have, some of which are related to skull kid’s other mischief and some of which aren’t. the moon. it is always hanging above you

yeah people around town aren’t ignorant of that. some people panic. others are in denial. some people are convinced that if they just do this and that it’ll all be fine. there’s a somewhat political aspect to the arguments in clock town (the heart of the game’s map) where some people are insisting they’re in danger and the mayor needs to order an evacuation and some people saying hey shut up don’t be silly! are you really gonna distract us from our super special carnival we’re about to host? you’re just trying to control people with your conspiracy theory! it feels a lot like a sociopolitical commentary on how different people react to crises. panic, acceptance, denial, trying to take control, drinking away your sorrows, embracing it, still holding onto hope, etc

but by day 3 nobody is denying it anymore. there’s just pure dread. not even evacuation is gonna save you because let’s be real the entire planet is done for. straight up it is the end of the world and there’s nothing anyone can do. you can’t fight the moon. the giants are the only hope and link is gonna fix everything but it’s not like the people of termina know that. so like the apocalyptic, despair-filled atmosphere is heavy. masterpiece of storytelling tbh

a few more things to mention:

-most of your masks are just optional quality of life upgrades or stuff for one very specific sidequest or just a trophy etc. but the main mechanics of the game involve transforming into the other races of hyrule- aka you can become a little tree guy, a fish guy, and a rock guy, by equipping the proper mask. as a matter of fact you start the game by having skull kid mug you and then like curse you into becoming the tree guy so you get to have a body dysmorphia moment for the entirety of the first 3-day cycle before you can break the curse and change freely. oh but fun fact about those masks. yeah those are inhibited by the souls of real actual people of those races who died tragically and their loved ones don’t know they’re dead and they’re convinced you are them. yeah.

oh btw if you get all the masks you can trade them in at the end to unlock a new transformation mask (implying you’re channeling some new mystery spirit. oh boy) called the fierce deity mask and it’s insanely powerful and makes short work of the final boss and we know nothing of the fierce deity’s lore which is a little scary. yippee!!!

-just in general both games (this is strictly speaking the second of a duology) very much have the recurring juxtaposition of childhood vs adulthood and the traumas of both. the plot of the first game involves being suddenly aged from 10 to 17 (you’re put to sleep for 7 years instead of being oh idk trained or something) and you just have to adjust to life as a child in an adult’s body. (and they’re like ‘wow cool congrats on being a grownup! :D’ as if that isn’t horrifying) then at the end just as you’re getting used to it you’re forcibly returned to being a child and now you’re an adult (kind of) in a child’s body. as a child you’re belittled and as an adult you have people making demands of you that you aren’t ready for and you’re both and neither. but now you’re definitively a child and get to have your childhood back right? yeah no. there’s no going back home anymore after everything that has happened. also one of your last remaining friends just left and now you’re trying to find her desperately. that’s the context going into majora’s mask.

-skull kid himself makes me sad because he’s not even evil he’s being controlled by majora. he is mischievous absolutely and it’s still partially his fault of course but the real him would never do all this. he ultimately just wanted friends and attention and fun and it manifested itself in a bad way (kinda reminds me of ventus in khux with about like 20% more culpability…). you get to be his friend afterward plus his two little fairy friends so yay! gotta say goodbye though.

-the two fairies are a brother sister duo. the sister (tatl) gets stuck as your companion bc she took the time to stay back and bully you extra hard at the beginning of the game and accidentally got separated from the others lol. by the time you catch up to them she wants to stay with you anyway. her brother (tael) stays with skull kid but like he isn’t evil he provides valuable intel to you but he’s just loyal to his friend. anyway tatl warms up to you which is nice and i adore her… but of course you have to say goodbye to her too :(

so in short to summarize the vibes:

what if you were a terrified lonely child experiencing layers upon layers of dysmorphia and trauma searching for your last friend and a giant moon with a face was about to fall and crush the earth and you alone were the only person who can save everyone by reliving the same three days over and over again, racing against the clock each time, making new friends and solving problems only to have to toss most of it down the drain with each reset, witnessing the fear and dread around you, feeling the weight of the world on you… just. man. lemme share some music too

. x this is the clock town theme. bright and cheery on day one, kind of hollow on day two (it rains that day), by day three it sounds frantic with an ominous undertone. denial and panic etc

x this is the theme that plays between midnight and 6am on the last day (fourth day i guess? the cycle starts at 6am on the first day so the last 6 hours before the dawn of death are technically a fourth day). at this point there is no denial in the world and this track plays everywhere in the world at that time. the world is ending. this is such a masterpiece of a somber track i found the best version i could that included the clock tower bells

x theme that plays when you finally summon all four giants to epically stop the moon after heaven knows how many cycles. no more smug skull kid no more despair it’s time!! baby!!!!!!

x this is the song of healing, another magic song that helps undo corruption in various forms throughout the game (it’s taught to you by a shady weird fellow known only as the happy mask salesman. love him.) it’s such a beautiful track that really kind of symbolizes the heart of this game- yeah it’s dark and scary and chaotic but at its core it’s about healing and hope, recovering from trauma, learning to live again… link manages to do it!!! he saves the world! and while he doesn’t stay in clock town he has a good time with his friends while he’s there. he gets to breathe for a bit. not every problem can be fixed but there is a new tomorrow nonetheless. acknowledge the hurt and work through it. gorgeous

Don’t be lazy for hells sake, you have to start putting whatever action you want, you can even use “lazy” manifestation methods, such as visualising with your sense only one time a day or say one affirmations as long as you believe in it (robotic affirmations can work too of course, but I wanted to mention methods that require little time).

You can shift realities, okay? You’re a mediator between worlds and you were born for this, this is your purpose so fuck, just start acting so. Visualisation and meditation are recommended methods, but you can do as you prefer, like if you have aphantasia or if it doesn’t work for you (everything works though, if you put your mind to it). You just have to fix your routine and persist, this way your wishes will just be naturally attracted to you. It’s the end of a chapter, start new from now on.

-Wrench treats you like a deity that has blessed the land, cause to him you are. He adores and worships the ground you walk on no matter the situation or day

-Can and will get mushy and flustered when it's just the two of you together, no words even needing to be exchanged, just simple sweet touches letting both him and you know that you're there with them

-Man has absolutely no shame dropping innuendos and pervy gestures reserved for you no matter where yall are. The hacker space, the streets, coffee shops, you name it, he's loudly proclaimed exactly how he feels about you with no detail left to the imagination

-Will melt and get emotional when it's just the two of you together chilling on a couch when you trace his tattoos or fuss with his hands

-It's those little quiet moments that he truly feels like he's found love and accepts that maybe he is worthy of the affections you give him

-Has 100% slapped the hell outta you for tickling him

-Of course not on purpose and it honestly wasn't even that bad of a touch, just barely grazing his side before bed results in what was pretty much a round house to the face

-He didn't even know what his body did at first either but the poor thing did break down in tears cradling your face with a flurry of apologies and kisses

-Had made crude little matching charms in his garage that's your guy's initials in a skulls eye sockets

-He keeps his on his belt chain and has been known to absentmindedly fuss with it when in thought or bored

-Wrench adores you so much he'd carve your name into the moon, or hell he could figure out how to blow it up if you want, this anarchist will find a way

-If anything were to happen to you on a dedsec excursion or even just in general, may the devil have mercy on someone's soul, cause wrench damn sure won't

-This man is already a raging lunatic but if someone fucks with HIS s/o?

-Death is not a luxury you shall recieve

-This man will drop (throw) everything to get all hands on deck in either finding you or the person that has stupidly done something wrong to you

-His emotes will be permanently angry the entire time, as if it were stuck that way but he's constantly in a spiraling cloud of stress and frustration that something had happened to someone he cherishes more than the world

-Wrench's revenge tirade aside, while he does enjoy his rock jams, he has a separate playlist full of songs he's either heard you listening to or ones that you have said are your favorite that he listens to whenever he misses or thinks of you while he's working

-Same with foods, he may not even like some of what you eat but he still buys them and tries them every so often, it just makes him feel more connected to you

Super late post today, but here it is! THIS PART IS THE MOST SAD. The movie didn't make enough consequences for his actions.

Excerpt:

"How've you been, sir? Are you doing well, Mr. Once-ler?" a forlorn voice asked.

Once-ler spun around. "You?!”

The Lorax didn't say anything for a while. The sound of rain over the balcony grew heavier as the storm rumbled behind him.

"Just came to look at the view. You've accomplished a lot, haven’t you?"

Once-ler backed away at the sound of thunder as the Lorax entered the office. The mossy old creature hopped onto his desk to stare at the model city. His torso was matted and streaked with grease. Wiry hairs stuck out from his mustache and eyebrows like bent broom bristles. The fur that had once had an attractive orange sheen was all brown now, caked with dirt, and had a damp, washed-out look. The Lorax might have been a chewed up jelly bean that had been spat back out.

"The Virtue of Selfishness," the Lorax read the title of one of Once-ler's books, stroking his mustache. "Lessons we could all learn from, I'd guess."

"You know what? I don't want to hear from you right now!" Once-ler yelled. "All you do is say everything is bad, and I'm really sick of it." He seized the Lorax and hoisted him under his arm, ignoring the creature's protests.

"It's not just the trees I'm trying to save,” the Lorax’s voice cracked, “but you, from digging your own grave."

Once again, the door wouldn't open when Once-ler tried it, and the alarm wouldn't go off when he pulled it. But he wasn’t going to  be defeated. He carried the Lorax to the balcony and held him at arm's length. The Lorax hovered over dark hills that had been uniformly sheared—bristly white stumps where once had been trees dotted the shaved hills of dead grass. Advanced axe-hackers rolled by like monsters, searching for more wood that they couldn't find, before wheeling away to look deeper into the mist.

"Are you going to kill me?" asked the Lorax.

"I know you're causing the storms," growled Once-ler, shaking him. "The thunder that never stops, the lightning that strikes my tower.  And all the clouds that have that same purple hue as when…" He trailed off, remembering the first tree he'd cut down, when he'd first seen the Lorax come out of the sky. 

If it wasn't for that day, he'd have believed the Lorax was no more than a funny animal like the Barbaloots or humming-fish, with a higher cognitive level and more annoying voice box. But it had been the sight of him that day, coming out of the sky with a terrible look in his eyes, that, as much as he tried to forget, made Once-ler secretly terrified he really was a deity. 

His hands trembled as the Lorax's beetle black eyes bored into his, suddenly looking very old and very powerful. Once-ler wondered if it was even possible for the Lorax to die. “Whatever you're doing, I want you to stop it. Right now," he growled, not recognizing his own voice. With each word, he leaned closer over the edge of the balcony.

"Why?" asked the Lorax. "You don’t seem to care how your own actions are fouling the air."

"Yer rusting up my factory. We got work to do. I’m the one in the legal right here. So make it stop." His face was close enough to feel the Lorax’s mustache.

The Lorax chuckled at this, legs dangling over the parapet. "Laws and codes, written by man. What have they to do with nature's plan? What have they to do with morals or your soul? Are laws the things that define all your goals?" His long, spindly hand slowly reached out and grabbed his tie.

Before Once-ler knew it, they were both falling. Through wind and rain they plummeted as the storm thickened. Soon a churning mist concealed everything around them as they tumbled through a funnel of purple clouds, a passage that went on much longer than Once-ler knew it should have. 

As they spun round and round, reality evaporated. It was as if Once-ler was melting into the Lorax and the Lorax was melting into him, until nothing but a haze of orange and green remained. Then they unconnected, plunging their separate ways.

Once-ler's spine cracked against a pipe, and he bounced onto the black, dry riverbed where water no longer ran. His head spun; reality had not gone quite back to normal. Somehow they had survived the fall as if it had been merely from a playground, rather than half a mile from the tallest building in the city. His back, however, would never be quite the same. Sharp pains when he attempted to straighten himself told him it had been fractured.

The Lorax was standing on a rock, eyes aglow, fixed on his enemy. An army was growing around him of bloodied, skeletal birds missing patches of feathers, a few crinkled fish that had been too weak to leave, and the ghostly Barbaloots that hadn't died yet.

Once-ler choked, and limped behind a rock. "I don't want any trouble," he pleaded. 

The Lorax gave a slight nod to the army behind him, and they marched somberly back into the gray expanse. As they trailed away, single file, Once-ler knew in his heart they were marching to their deaths. At the end of the line he spotted an animal he hadn't thought of in a long time. His old friend, Melvin.

"Hey…!" He crawled up to the trembling old animal that fell to the ground. Melvin put his head in Once-ler's lap. His coat was thin and sooty, breaths slow and tired. The eyes that met his master's were filled with sadness that slowly dimmed into an empty stare as his head slumped to the ground.

ok here's my take: it's literally Not That Deep. sburb is an incomplete RPG, not a deity or a greater consciousness. it doesn't actually know what is good for the players personal development. it is entirely skin-deep.

this is reflected in the performatively hollow echeladder mechanic, and in the sprites- who, lest we forget, are NPCs. that's why they're so 'mysterious.' they exist only to keep players on track, and 'the following quest objectives are HIGHLY PERSONALIZED to help you reach your full potential! great answers await you!' is a line written to serve that purpose. jaspersprite drops the facade a little bit and reveals he has no idea what he's talking about, the game is just making him say it

in keeping with this, classpects are not determined by people deep interior selves. they are determined by surface-level observations and by party optimization. the game generates a handful of possible classpects based on traits like 'bookish,' 'pirate' and 'cheerful,' then cross-references that with balanced team builds. the alpha session, being less complete, lacks the party optimization algorithm

Roxy is a do-good hacker (criminal) who uses an appearifier, she's a rogue who makes stuff appear out of nothing. Dirk carries on about being a leader and being toxic, he's a prince who destroys souls. Jake is weak/insecure and ignores reality, he's the 'untapped potential' class with the power to imagine things into existence. Jane is the only one who seems a little less literal, and I suspect that has to do with the Condesce, since she was the one who released the sburb alpha. Condy is a life player, therefore Jane is a life player (plus, she has that penchant for foiling assassination attempts, avoiding death) and she's a maid because Condy wants a handmaid

Aradia robs graves, Dave collects dead things, Caliborn is into murder, time is the death aspect. Callie, Jade, and Kanaya are all artists, space is the creation aspect. Karkat fantasizes about being a member of the royal army and he's obsessed with his blood, he's a knight of blood. I could go on but you get the point lol. classpects are superficial and depend heavily on what balances well, not your personal truth

likewise, I think your average '[closest object to you] + [current weather condition] = your sburb planet' type meme is pretty much exactly how the sburb planets actually work. they're not 'designed to challenge people' beyond the literal quest challenges

i think this reading immediately clears up a lot of apparent inconsistencies in the comic, like how Dave's planet is his own personal hell while Vriska's planet is her own personal heaven. the game doesn't actually know how they feel about these things or what would help them grow

Dawn

Hair: messy and ear-length (she cut it after a Saturday night meltdown a while back). Half of it is dyed purple, and the other half is naturally black Eyes: Dark brown. Dawn uses contact lenses Height: 163 cm Build: Scrawny Skin: Honey brown Race: Southeast Asian Other: Dawn has a few piercings. Her arms are covered in tattoos.

Personality: resilient, quick-witted and determined. Dawn knows what she wants (to get rid of Seth) and she knows how to get it (using MC). She's never hidden her intentions, or lied about her objective. Dawn's distaste for deities is evident since the moment MC meets her, and she seems to faintly rejoice in reminding them. A very intelligent woman, Dawn loves street racing and causing some trouble online. She ‘works’ as a hacker.

Bruno

Hair: cropped short, dark brown/nearly black hair. Eyes: Light brown. Bruno uses glasses. Height: 181 cm Build: Average and soft, a bit chubby Skin: Bronze Race: half Hispanic, half East Asian

Personality: neurotic, idealistic and uptight. Otherwise known as MC's companion in jail, Bruno has been recently caught for a crime that is a product of his own very uncharacteristic and rare ambition: knowledge. He's a very intelligent individual, although not particularly assertive. This historian and divorced dad knows more about MC than he lets on, though Bruno insists he was just at the wrong time at the wrong time.

A Moonless

Personality: caring, playful and a bit temperamental. Despite their new, much more modern look, A is and acts just like a human MC once knew and loved, Zain. A is protective of those they care about, and they're never afraid to speak their mind. They're Dawn's coworker at the Speakeasy, where VR services are offered to its clients.

Hair: Buzz cut. Eyes: Naturally light brown, V has modified them to have synth eyes (they're a very pale green, with a faint glow). Height: 186 cm Build: Athletic Skin: Honey brown Race: Southeast Asian Other: More than half of V’s body has been modified. Their arms and legs are synthetic.

Personality: dependable, loyal and stoic. Vex is Dawn's older sibling, and while their relationship is not at its best, Dawn will always be V’s sole priority. They might not be the most affectionate person in the world, but when Vex cares they're willing to defy every norm they so dutifully abide. They've worked as a law enforcer for Lord Seth and the government for a few years.

Eris

Hair: coiled light brown afro. People know and recognize Eris by the wigs she wears, among which a white shoulder-length bob is the most iconic. Eyes: Dark brown. Eris often uses colored contact lenses (mostly pink, white and blue). Height: 173 cm Build: Skinny and slightly lean Skin: Ebony Race: Black Other: Eris has a few body modifications. Her left arm isn't flesh but metal.

Personality: charming, humorous and flirty. Eris (real name: Estelle Lawrence) is a celebrity in every sense of the word. She knows just what to say and how to say it, she's likable, friendly and very talkative. Beneath the public persona everyone adores, Eris is a complete mystery.

Seth

Reminiscing about when Krishna's portrayal in SMT4A got in trouble

The brown skin comment as if actors portraying Krishna in a definitely-not-blue-way wasn't a recurring thing is definitely... funny to say the least.

Whether Rajan Zed's outrage (or even the necessity of reporting it) is justified or not, it provided a hilarious comment section for sure:

For those that are familiar with how demon are depicted in SMT, there's a nuanced view on the interpretation of religions in the games in which there are occasions where they shouldn't necessarily be seen as the 'raw' look of how they were in the scriptures.

As how Doi and Yamai explained in a Famitsu interview, context play a key part for aspects they choose to deviate:

That being said, fans can't ignore that industry trends and the teams behind Atlus games being mostly Japanese definitely influence what role and what kind of design elements gets picked for myth figures in Megaten.

REGARDING KRISHNA'S ROLE:

In Megaten, let alone SMT4 itself, Japanese deities are in most instances portrayed sympathetically while deities from other cultures antagonize the protagonist, often in extreme ways. We could say it went even a little beyond for Krishna in a particular aspect.

SMT IVA's writer Yusuke Miyata envisioned Krishna as the one responsible for the persecution of Christians in Japan even though this was solely on Japan's part if you read real world history.

Fairly enough, Krishna in this context wasn't Krishna per se but Kokuten, a forced fusion between Mahakala (a buddhist version of Shiva) and Shinto deity Okuninushi due to religious syncretism. Also, remember how Flynn defeated Okuninushi in a sidequest in the original SMT IV? You could say this was the first step towards unsealing Krishna even before Nanashi was a thing).

In any case, the weight of this action was pushed both towards Krishna since he kept his memories even after he separated himself from Kokuten and the Law side itself as referenced by Japanese-Catholic martyr Tokisada in the Four Wings, Four Heads sidequest from SMT IV.

Look, as someone that comes from a country that was colonized by Portuguese missionaries, the thought of them failing miserably in Japan makes me scoff. The writers washing away the blood from Japanese hands even if it's a fictional setting is reasonably controversial nevertheless.

REGARDING KRISHNA'S DESIGN:

Doi provided a "contextualized" design for Krishna but didn't include a "rooted in their own myth" version as well, so the one we fight against and summon in the Cathedral of Shadows even across different games end up being a Krishna with this extra layer of context. For comparison, it'd be the equivalent of players summoning Thor as Thormann from SMT1 or Azazel as Nishi from Soul Hackers.

Thus, we have one of most important figures in Hinduism appear as either a "British colonizer-friendly" design or fused with Flynn that has Japanese and Star Wars elements (that were also based on Japanese culture) that for obvious reasons wouldn't make sense anywhere but in SMT4. We don't have Krishna as his standalone self even though Lucifer, Lilith, Gabriel and Merkabah all have their own alongside their "disguise to hide in the crowd".

And as a very small sidenote, the discussion also provides an insight on the perspective that the franchise does have its habit of putting myths and gods of different levels of worshipping on a blender for the sake of being superficially used as tools for the player (which well... comes with monster-catching game genre territory where titles present themselves with the prospect of monster x human allyship but they are essentially glorified cockfights).

[N is set as the primary antagonist of Pokémon Black & White for not wanting the creatures to be slaved to their trainers' will. By the end of the game, you will have him convinced that achstually Pokémon do like to follow orders and beat up other Pokémon. Anyone seeing parallels between Dagda and Danu's alignments here?]

Going back to our boy Rajan Zed, at the end of the day... he's just a loud spokesperson that will inherently criticize any "grey-area" depiction of Hinduism (and can't be compared to average followers that mostly won't care about some random depiction in a Japanese videogame).

He clearly hadn't given up on expressing his dismayal as SMTV got released either.

To the point that Nobuyuki Shioda (writer for SMT strategy guides and the "Journey to the Mythical World" colums in the official SMT4A website) couldn't help but give a statement on the issue:

"Please don't misunderstand. The games are not made to denigrate Hindu deities. Focus has been given on respecting mythological depictions in recent years as well. But I know the games are not for everyone. We have to make an effort to gain understanding."

Physical changes: I changed her body since her being a watermelon and I’ve seen other people do it. I changed her outfit to fit her character more and incorporate watermelons more. I messed with her hair to have some fluff and dark green raccoon strips so she has more watermelon representation. I toned her skin since I’ve seen others do it but I’ve actually never seen someone do a mid tone on her. I gave her watermelon chew strings cause I think she would be one for a chewing habit when nervous or anxious. I made her have spandex shorts so she actually looks like she’s wearing something underneath and altered those little leaves on her head to make them actually looking like leaves.

Changes: I changed quite a bit due to the fact to me she never seemed important or impressionable even in Revelations so I fixed that. So I made her mentally around her age maybe acting childish often but still acts her age and not a 5 year old since that was kinda stupid cause she’s 21 for peats sake. I made her a Game developer so her being a hacker and artist can be put to some use and it can also lead to her having late nights and have a reason for sleeping often. I don’t understand how her dad is the Watermelon man and she didn’t get abilities from genetics so I decided to add that so she had similar abilities like her dad but when she got the Deity mask is gave her god powers which I think would’ve led to some power meltdowns and I imagine her dad also is helping her train sometimes. I decided to give her a mother since it seemed right but not like she’s alive. I gave her a last name cause it felt right so it’s now Melony Seedless. I think she would hang out with Tari and Axol the most cause they gaming and drawing together.
