James Sirius Potter Facts

• He loved quidditch. Like really loved it. Knew he was expected to be a seeker like his dad but being a chaser like his mum is way more fun.

• He thought he was only popular because of his family but people actually really liked him for who he was.

• Has a lot of muggle born friends because at least when he started school they had no idea who he was.

wish the next generation got the marauders treatment

people get very angry about this, but i think most can agree james, sirius, and snape were all kind of bitches as kids. im not really too excited to see them.

also, we don't know too much about their parents (except for sirius). that's nice, maybe, because it affords a lot of freedom, but also it makes things quite inconsistent. I just feel any related angst is sort of diluted, doesn't hit so hard, by nobody really agreeing on the parent details.

for hugo and rose and everyone else, it's exactly the opposite, so that might help? a bit? anyway, honestly i just really enjoy kid characters that have to deal with a lot of shit because of their parents, and there's a lot more opportunity with that in the next gen. like, the homophobic parents are a lot more painful when its harry potter and ginny weasley rather than some randos.

I really like the idea of ​​Harry adopting Delphini and her and Teddy growing up as brothers. But after reading a Delphini/Teddy Lupine fanfic I'm thinking more and more of them as a couple, maybe something where she grows up as a Malfoy and they meet at Hogwarts.

They are close in age, both orphans, with parents who fought on opposite sides of the war, both are family even if distant, there is great potential for anguish and character growth. It's a shame that it's a super rare couple in fanfic.

Loves her parents and is a total daddy's girl

Victorie: Teddy!! Hehe I think they're just a very cute, typical high-school romance that stays together and we love that

Dominique: Hmmmmm, I don't really ship her with anyone. I feel like she had a few girlfriends over the years, some flings, hookups, stuff like that- but never really stuck with anyone. And tbh, she's fine with that. I think she ends up living with her best friends somewhere when she's older and probably never has kids or marries. If I had to choose someone for one of her longer relationships, I'd say maybe a Zabini kid? Specifically a girl named Camille Zabini, they stayed friends and she's the friend that she still lives with, along with a couple other people.

Molly: Oooh, okay, I saw something awhile back about her being with a McKinnon girl? So I'd say I ship Molly with a Gryffindor named Nicole McKinnon :)

Louis: A guy named Ravi Patil, Parvati's son.

james is 2 years older than albus and 3 years older than lily

he's the same age as roxanne and fred ii, who are both gryffindors, and he and roxanne are best friends

james loves to cook

he plays chaser for the gryffindor quidditch team

uses he/they pronouns, but only roxanne, fred ii, and ginny know (and maybe his siblings and teddy)

he becomes a prefect in his 5th year, which is surprising to everyone, because he is hilariously irresponsible sometimes (even if he tries not to be)

they're a pretty good mix of their parents - they have harry's curly hair and tan skin (though it's a bit lighter than harry's is) but ginny's brown eyes and freckles.

they're the tallest of their siblings, but shorter than roxanne. (they're not actually that tall, their siblings are just shorter. they're probably around 5'10", or ~179 cm)

people tend to make jabs at/jokes about his intelligence and his bad memory, but james was actually almost put in ravenclaw. roxanne, teddy, lily, and maybe fred are the only ones who know b/c he's worried others won't believe him.

he's had a crush on teddy since he was nine, and the entire family knows about it.

james, like much of his family, doesn't understand albus, but he really tries.

everyone knows who james is, even if they're not super good friends.

on that note, they love making friends and are usually outgoing but can be shy sometimes, especially around people they want to impress

his parents divorce when he's 15, and he tries to use it as an opportunity to get close with harry, ginny, and albus

james knows his fellow gryffindors best, but he tries to befriend members of other houses, because woo house unity

james gets a bunch of tattoos after he graduates, and they all mean something.

as said earlier, they really try with people, but they can be kind of awkward sometimes. this is why they don't have as many friends as lily, even though everybody knows them (or, at least, knows of them.)

even though a lot of people like them, they don't date that much. partially because of their crush on teddy, but mostly because they're just more interested in friendship.

he causes a lot of trouble, but he almost never means to, which sucks b/c he hates making people mad :/
