Writing dialogue for comics is sooo hard sometimes because I never want them to get too long (if it can't fit into a 10 image post I will Die) but also sometimes the dialogue just gets away from me and I have to cut out things or rearrange/rephrase things just to make sure it doesn't end up too long but ALSO I can't make it too different/cut out too much bc then the dialogue will feel unnatural or out of character and THEN I sometimes have to re-write the entire thing because it's not possible to make it sound natural while still retaining the important points without making it too long and I will DIE why is writing SO HARD

#had to rewrite the dialogue for a comic like 3 times bc it kept getting too long for what was SUPPOSED to be a pretty straightforward point #being made by That Character to Other Character (who doesnt even have any dialogue here!!!!)#the artistic process is just suffering through every stage until it looks nice #HOW am i supposed to inflict emotional distress upon the populus when my emotional damage machine is making it so hard!!!!!#xander rambles
