... but I did let myself start this Nnoi thing, soooo here’s a teeny bite-sized preview of the first couple paragraphs under the cut

More than once you’ve practically begged Nnoitra not to go out hunting at night.

What you usually get for your trouble is a scoff and a reminder that he can take care of himself, if he’s in a good mood. A bad mood will see him getting up to go hunt specifically to spite your ‘stupid human concern’.

In the early days of your romance, before you regularly shared a bed with him, it worried you sick. You would sit up at night in Tesla’s room, your lover’s Fracción doing his best to manage your anxiety. “Lord Nnoitra does this often,” you can remember him assuring you. “He always comes back just fine. He’s stronger than anything out there in the wilderness of Hueco Mundo.”

And although it took a while, you finally began to believe it.
