Ok this is all the way from September. I am SO SORRY I BARELY SAW THIS😭😭 but yes omg I’d love to talk abt them!! I think I’ll just use this as a chance to yap abt how they met LOL

So initially J.P. had no desire to talk to John (which I talked more abt in his character sheet) John on the other hand is *very* talkative, maybe too much cause he has like a number opps but that’s a different story for another day. ANYWAY how they first meet is at a scare house! John is an actor in it and J.P. Is kinda forced to go by his friend (buddy holly clone hehe) J.P. actually dosent fw halloween that much. Why dress up as someone else when ur already struggling with insane identity issues?😭🙏

As J.P. goes through the scare house he gets lost and is just kinda anxiously wandering around in it. In comes John who’s just kind of standing there in his zombie costume (without glasses cause it ruins the look duh! So he can’t see shit). J.P. recognizes him, sighs, and gives an awkward wave. John’s actually horrible at his job and has been zoned out for the past half hour so seeing a blob in front of him sort of shocks him(and if I’m being honest I haven’t thought much past this point but somehow they end up friends from this😭😭😭😭😭😭 leave suggestions actually)

SIDE STORY TIMEEE In an au where ONLY Bailey was a siren, I feel like he’d have been caught (bc he’s too curious about humans, more so because he wants to know if his dinner can feel emotions.) and would’ve been kept in an aquarium so that marine biology/ichthyology students like Jasper would’ve seen him and soon the whole gang would start visiting him, along with Tonio ((mod’s bf!!)) who he’d probably have a huge crush on for some weird siren reason. He starts visiting the aquarium every day and Bailey starts going absolutely insane bc what kind of coward was he, letting glass get in the way of his human crush? He breaks the glass, and attempts to drag himself to Toni but starts suffocating (man’s got gills) so Sora, Jasper, Finn and Toni have to carry this massive fish-bitch to go stay in a bathtub temporarily before dumping him into some giant freshwater lake nearby lmao (and if you’re wondering about Pebble, he’s still a demon and shares a similar interest in Toni ;) )

ouuu okay i mostly read romance/fantasy so most of these will have romance plots in them hehe

my favourite romance ever is love and other words by christina lauren and i recommend it to literally everyone who asks!!! i also love better than the movies and betting on you by lynn painter, the cutest YA books!!!!

then for fantasy my favs are the cruel prince series by holly black, caraval/once upon a broken heart by stephanie garber (HIGHLY recommend these and reading caraval first it’s so amazing!!!), and a stand-alone i love is the invisible life of addie larue by V.E. schwab!!!

and if ur into crime/mystery the good girls guide to murder series by holly jackson is SO incredible and there’s a tv show coming soon!! and the naturals series by jennifer lynn barnes is insane if u like criminal minds u will love this!!!

I'm doing well! this winter hasn't been too cold thankfully (though I'm sure this is indicative of terrible advances in global warming, so perhaps I shouldn't be too happy about it). I've a trip soon to see one of my best friends in the whole wide world in one of my bucket list countries and so that's mega exciting. this year is full of variables and I'm so excited to just experience the unknown.
