Her giggles were quiet enough that Anakin wasn't worried about anyone overhearing them. She tried to fight him off, but between her laughter and his strength, she didn't stand a chance. They were both breathing hard when he finally relented, and she smacked him on the shoulder as soon as she had some control back.

"That was not very gentlemanly of you," she told him. Her face was flushed.

"I didn't come here to be a gentleman," he said.

She blushed even deeper.

"You're making fun of me again," she said. " I thought you were top scared to make fun of a senator."

"Not when the senator is my wife," he said. He pulled her into his lap. "Then all bets are off. "
