I don't think the slugcats ctually make any noises in game, but the Fandom has unanimously agreed that they make the "waaa" sound, which I think is absolutely beautiful.

Also, considering that slugcats are able to slip and slide around, slide through tunnels and, when pressed against a wall without floor directly beneath them, are able to just slide slowly down and avoid the risk of any harm, I'd say her texture is somewhere between jello and slime.

On a completely unrelated note, did you know that there's a movement guide for the game on Google Docs that's at least 100 pages long? These creatures are apparently very flexible.

Also, Scug (short for slugcat) IK with a knife would be so incredibly dangerous because, due to the state of Rain World, I fully believe she would throw the knife at the closest threat and run, or take it out and throw it again.

(I don't even think I could properly describe the state of the Rain World world other than "ecosystem simulator where everything is a predator and you're just slightly above the bottom of the food chain" and "practically having an entire ocean dropped on you if you don't find shelter to hibernate")

i feel like there's a lot of cute little quirks to be had in terms of slugpup survival instincts... ik does things like instinctively trying to bury important things, burrows into the tiniest of nooks and crannies, and will launch whatever weapon she has in her possession at you if you so much as surprise you

i'm thinking of that video of a raccoon getting some candyfloss and automatically dunking it in water, but then the candyfloss dissolves and the poor raccoon is just so bewildered. this happens to ik when beel attempts to give her a treat and everyone watching has a visceral reaction along the lines of [falls to knees] "NOOOOOOO"

luke would love her so much!! nearly cries the first time he holds her she's so squishy. he'd carry ik around in his hat and narrate his entire day to her (and get into trouble because he keeps slipping her treats and too much sugar bad). he'd try to imitate the slugcat 'waa's only for ik to look at him like this because he's just fluently cussed at her

See in my head, Dan Heng and Blade are hoyoverse's fave ocs in two different ways like hear me out

Dan Heng is the oc that gets all the art, they're the one that gets the most time to shine. The oc that gets doodled a lot and talked about a lot. Also for some reason gives similar vibes to the giddiness and love someone has for an oc they made years ago and are now rediscovering and making a ton of stuff for and redesigning them too like. Even if Dan Heng most certainly was made as apart of this project and didn't have that history of creator, he gives the vibes of an oc like that given how Hoyo treats him yknow?

Meanwhile, Blade is a classic favorite oc type, the Punching bag. Yanqing may take L after L in fights, but Blade takes L after L in life. He's Hoyoverse's whump king. Just when you think his backstory can't get any sadder, Hoyoverse goes "XD guys!! I added more details to his backstory look!" and it's just the most tragic things ever added from brainrot. He would be featured in those "My oc if they never went through *x trauma* videos on Tiktok" though if they actually did that, he probably would just be a headstone then lol. Blade is the oc that doesn't get shelved because each day at some point, they spend time to think about ways to make his life worst, either in the past or in his unfortunate future!!

And Hoyoverse is honestly so real for that, I'm absolutely eating up everything about both of their characters

suguru has a habit of always putting his hand on your waist, even when you're both just close friends.

whether it's needing to get past with a 'my fault', his hands have a magnetic pull to the curve of your waist, whenever you're hanging out with the group of friends satoru, shoko, sukuna and toji and some others, you've become almost touch blind or lost all feeling on touch whenever suguru holds your waist. he does it so much that you don't even notice it anymore until people point it out.

" are y'and suguru a thing or..." You hear satoru say, " Why would you think that?" You say out of genuine curiosity.

you can feel suguru apply comforting pressure to your waist, which slides down to your pudgy, curvy hips, his vainy hands flexing.

"You flirt with everyone all the time. You don't see me asking if you're together." You shrugged, you lean your head on sugurus chest that he seems to bring you into.

eventually, satoru drops the accusation but doesn't seem fully convinced, but you don't mind.

the assumption continues to flow around in the group, sugurus hands always all over your body, hips, waist, and even going as far as to hold you from just under your breast to give the push up bra effect, ogling at them too.

pulling at the belt loop of your jeans before sliding a hand to rest on your waist, whenever he's sitting down while you're standing near him, he can't help but wrap an arm around your hips. leaning his head against your hip.

whenever he's down he pulls you by the waist snuggling into your chest, and on a rare occasion he would squish your boobs like a stress ball. which always made you laugh at the funny feeling.

overall, you can't ever keep him from not gripping your waist. He'd pull you closer to rub your stomach, letting some fingers slip up your shirt, but nothing too crazy.
