Well it worked!

On the left is Ekin and on the right is Dere. Dere is the crown princess of kingdom Niferos and a major bitch. Ekin ends up getting promoted to be her personal knight after saving her mother's life (by helping the queen cough out the chicken bone that got stuck in her throat not in combat or anything)

Dere is terrible to Ekin for a while because she is more than capable of protecting herself and Ekin isn't even as good of a warrior as she is which makes her feel insulted, but they eventually fall in love because Ekin has a thing for mean women that can dominate her and Dere needs someone she can lower her guard around and be vulnerable with which Ekin is great for because. Herbo.

They have a VERY long story that I can't share without pretty much writing a book so I won't but just know that I am spinning these two around in my head most of the time I'm not spinning Will around

Most likely cause I'd opt to have it animated cause I think animation works better for fantasy-type stuff cause you don't have to use CGI or whatever. But then it would be an Adult Animated Series and those don't really... work. Because everyone knows Animation Is For Kids (tm).

If it was live action it would get cancelled for not being straight enough to have an audience

Faith gets recast as a herbo which she kind of is but now that's ALL she can be. Any emotional intelligence or craftiness or wit she has? Well it's gone now. They also ignore that she's bi. She's a lesbian now. If you mention she's bi in canon you're a lesbophobe. They'll also make her a Mean Tough Lesbian stereotype even though she's like a big friendly dog personality-wise and isn't even a lesbian.

Davy is DEFINITELY gonna have his sexuality erased (he's aroace and everyone knows that's Illegal in fandom) but people will decide he's just Repressed and start shipping him with everyone. Not platonically either. As for his personality he'll probably be rewritten into an uwu soft boy must protecc or something like that, or will just be straight-up bitchy and crabby ALL the time with no nuance in either case.

Lilah no one will know whether to make her the Mom Friend (she's not. That is Faith but it will never actually BE Faith in the fandom) or just have her be the Ice Queen (again she isn't she's just a woman and has boundaries). They will also probably decide she "looks bi to them :/ " even though she's a canon lesbian because she's small and feminine and cute. OH she might also get infantilized cause she's small I forgot about that. Yeah that'll happen too.

it fucks me up thinking about bethlehem being a dragon because while there are animal people in alchemy stars, dragons are supposed to be very rare with the few like sharona and leona being the last survivors of their long disgraced houses and both are canonically exceptionally powerful but I can 100% believe that bethlehem is the queen of northland because she's the most mythical cryptid out of all the fairy people who live there. so many of the northland characters are incredibly reverent of her with more respect than the people of luminopolis or illumina show to their respective heads and everyone has a personal story about having met her and how mythical she seems with naroxel having been found by her in the woods and being raised and put in charge of the courier union (for context, the woods in northland are alive and want to trap you in them forever and some characters like bethlehem can just. ignore that), characters in other factions all talk about northland like it’s this great mystery that no one knows and it’s telling that most of the characters that come from there are children because its a fairy tale land, the government consists of 3 children and a mirror because all other governing is done by her alone BUT we also know that the way she handles governmental matters is so casually that it’s almost absurd (when the people chose her as a queen she sent a personalized letter to EVERY CITIZEN AND THEY ALL UNANIMOUSLY AGREED) so seriously What The Fuck Is Up With Northland And Bethlehem
