he doesn't want this responsibility but he takes it. he's not the best warden. he's rough around the edges. he's aloof. he doesn't easily befriend the others. people he saves thank him but he just nods

his warden commander doesn't know how to get him to open up. but he's intelligent. he's strong. he's quick and skilled. he's saved entire teams of people in the dark roads because of his quick reflexes

miguel can't do anything about any of this. he knows the calling is inevitable one day. he hates when he thinks he hears it. but every person he saves, every wrong he makes right...maybe there is something there. something worth it
