Fundraisers for Families in Gaza

All of these people have suffered tremendous loss, having lost their homes, their jobs, and any semblance of safety. It's important to help if you are able to, or feel comfortable doing so. This winter, most families are in desperate need of new tents, winter clothes and food.

How are fundraisers vetted?

You may have some doubts about whether these GFMs/Chuffed fundraisers will actually help people in Gaza. That's understandable.

Usually, people will talk with the organizer of the fundraiser in person to verify the legitimacy. (Link to an ask I sent to el-shab-hussein about this)

Ahmed Al-Nabih (@ahmedalnabih23) - "Support Ahmed's Family After Devastating Loss" (USD) Ahmed's wife is pregnant and malnourished. They do not want to lose their first child. He is fundraising for a family of four people. His mother suffers from worsening chronic illness, and he tragically lost his father. Verified by gazavetters (#186). Donations protected

URGENT: Help Aseel and her family evacuate (pt 2)!

Hi everyone. If you saw my previous posts, then you know that we successfully raised 500$ for Aseel (@aseel68). Using the money (which is reduced to 350$ once the 30% fee is taken into account), Aseel was able to buy a new tent for her and her family (pictured below).

Unfortunately, Aseel had to use the remaining money for treatment for her father. Her father is in very bad condition, as attested to by Aseel and all of her sisters. This means that they still haven't had a chance to evacuate the area currently being bombed. On top of all this, her father needs a lot more treatment, and her mother is diabetic and needs insulin.

We know it'll be very difficult to raise enough money for all this. But Aseel has already lost a lot of family members and is desperate to save her parents.

To make matters worse, Aseel's GoFundMe was recently shut down and she lost 70,000$. Despite this, she's still striving to survive, and trying to save her remaining family.

Her current goal is 1000$, including the 30% fees, to evacuate her family and continue getting medical help for her father.
