A sea of bullets will rain down on the enemies. The two shadows that are weak to gun specifically, are taken out instantly. "Perfect..." A satisfied smile widens on his face. The one weak to curse was still alive, but if it doesn't completely resist or block gun, then he probably hurt it a little, still, which was good. Then, he will walk over to Joker to give him a high five, doing a baton pass to give him an extra power boost! "Okay, Joker! I leave that one to you!"

He nodded while he listened. "I see, I see. Very nice. Humble too, might I add. Don't worry, I've no doubt you will get stronger from here on out." It's always an advantage when a Persona was gun-based due to their guns being able to hold so much ammo without having to reload. when she gets home from the party that night and sees rafe sitting outside her door, she’s in disbelief.

he tries to trail her into her apartment, but she doesn’t want to hear him out. as she’s pushing him out of her place, he keeps telling her to wait and listen but she shoves him out into the hallway and he’s so desperate that he says “i love you” to her on her doorstep.

it takes her back for a moment, and she glares at him as he searches her face for any hint of forgiveness, but she finally says, “you went too far with the things you said and the things you let your friends say. you don’t respect me. the kind of love i want doesn’t look like this.” his heart shatters.

she recounts it all to him, how she knows he said she never says no to him, how his buddy called her a slut and he laughed.

he says, “i’m sorry, okay? i beat that asshole up. and i hate myself for saying that shit. just calm down so we can talk.”

she says, “i’m never talking to you again.”

she shuts the door and he just stares at it with his heart pounding, never having been rejected like this. he’s sure that she must just be mad in the moment, because how can she throw away the connection they have?

it’s hard to control himself because he’s so pissed and heartbroken, but he goes home, sure they’ll fix things. she just needs to cool down.

but she doesn’t return any calls. he even sends her money to get her attention. no response.

he comes to her apartment again the next night and when she won’t open the door, he pleads, “don’t do this. we have to see each other at some point.”

“no we don’t. i quit my job.”

she’s standing in her kitchen, staring at the door, thinking about all the times he came through it.

she wonders if she can just move past this all. but what he said was so horrible that she can’t imagine being happy with him, knowing what he’s capable of.

she called the cleaning agency earlier that day and asked to work at another house. she can’t imagine going back to tannyhill. seeing rafe. dealing with the staff there. and she shut down her account on the cam girl website. she’s done with it all.

from the pool, he notices her. he never told his friends her name or what happened, just that things didn’t work out, so they have no idea what a big deal it is that he’s seeing this girl right now.

he stares at her from the backyard as she cleans the sliding door glass. she didn’t really quit. she just went to work at another kook’s house.

she comes out to wipe the other side, the sound of her sliding the door open getting his friend’s attention.

“honey, get us some beers, will you?” his buddy calls.

she turns her head, the frustrated look rafe knows all to well etched on her face.

“i’ll let the servant know,” she replies flatly. “i only clean.”

when her eyes land on rafe, she freezes. she was just thinking about him. she thinks about him all the time. how fun he was, how much he loved spoiling her, how sweet he could pretend to be.

but deep down, he was cruel. she knows he’ll never really see her as more than a sex object. what they had was transactional.

“i don’t get why they’re so sensitive about that shit,” his friend laughs quietly. “like, just get some drinks. i don’t give a damn about your job description.”

rafe watches her rush away.

“what the fuck is wrong with you?” rafe mutters, standing to follow her.

“got a soft spot for maids, cameron?” he replies tauntingly. but rafe ignores him.

she tries to gain some composure, hoping that he won’t trail her. but it’s rafe. of course he’s going to find her without any consideration for her feelings or her job.

he sees her rush down the downstairs hallway into a spare room. when she turns at the sound of footsteps, her breath catches when she sees him up close again.

“i thought you quit,” he says, his voice low.

she brushes past him to close the door so nobody overhears. her back is to the door, her eyes wide while she looks up at him.

“i quit at your house,” she replies. “what do you want?”

rafe’s brows pinch in a mix of sorrow and frustration. he missed her voice. the way she used to talk to him. over her computer. in her bedroom.

“is he always a dick to you like that?” he asks. she tries not to look at his toned body, droplets of pool water scattered over his chest.

god, she misses his body. his touch. everything.

“i don’t care what he says,” she replies. “this is just a job.”

rafe tilts his head, gazing at her with disbelief.

[A] Affection It's like a competition when it comes to you two. You're affectionate to him, then he tries to outdo you. Of course, you're not gonna settle just like that, so you outdo him. The cycle continues. You have an affection for each other that other people envy. It's like a sunshine x sunshine situation, y'know? He also gets cuteness aggression ALL THE TIME. You know because he's very physical when expressing it.

[F] Fights He will never ever start a fight with you. If he does, then it's probably over something silly. He can be a bit dramatic when it comes you at times... Although, you do fight a lot over the fact that you don't allow him to reciprocate the efforts that you do for him. For example, you made him lunch one time and to return the gesture, he wanted to make dinner. You refused, saying that you could handle it. He gets all whiney saying, "You never let me do things for you." It's hard for him because he has soooo much love to give and you don't always allow him to let it out. So yeah.

[K] Kisses Ume gets really giddy when getting and giving kisses. You get surprised a lot because he just attacks you with them out of nowhere. Ume especially likes it when you kiss him on the cheek—it makes him feel golden. But he gives you a lot of kisses on the lips. Sometimes, when you're gardening or cooking/baking, he'll sneak up on you. He'll wrap his arms around you and give you a kiss on the shoulder (I melted). It's his way of saying hello.

[T] Time Apart We all know who's folding first... Ume. He's the kind that sends i-miss-you texts even after you've just seen each other. He's a clingy guy despite the tough image he has as the top dog. Besides, on normal days, he does ask you often what you're up to or where you are. He does the same—updating you about his activities and whereabouts. It's one thing that he misses you (a lot), but he's also checking in because he's a worrywart. He's always thinking about your well-being. You match his energy too sometimes. I mean, who wouldn't miss a guy like him?

[U] Uniqueness I think what sets you apart from other couples is the level of trust you gave each other right off the bat. Most tend to be wary at first—trying to slowly let their walls down. But Ume trusted you completely. He was raw and genuine with you right from the start. It was overwhelming for you at first, but you quickly followed suit because Ume has proven himself to be the kind of guy with good intentions. I mean, positive times positive is equal to positive (wow math). But I guess you differ in a way that he's more hyper than you are (?). He can get ahead of himself sometimes and he needs you to be there and pace him. The best example I can think of is when you're with your mutual friends. Ume helps you with socializing with the others without making it feel too forced. And you remind him to slow down (especially with Hiragi... that poor poor man).

Image 3 is of Heatblast from Omniverse. He looks almost the same as in Ultimate Alien, only his eyes are once again connected to the fire on his head, like in the Original Series. He is taller and more muscular, his face's design is different and more pointed, and his shoulder plates are slightly tilted up. His feet are also more thin, showing an exaggerated difference to the body. His Ultimatrix ( which is a updated Omnitrix) symbol is green and grey.

Final image is of Heatblast from the Ben 10 Reboot. The volcanic rocks on his body are of a brighter, deeper color. They are smoother. The plasma body inside is gradiented and milder in color, plus his hand and foot size is toned down. His mask-like face is bright red and more simplified, his "hair" flame is the brightest part of him. The grey hourglass-like symbol of the Omnitrix juts from his chest. End ID]
