(and to getting it back without someone else coming along with it)
bear with me. please keep an open mind. however if you don't want aimless details of this scenario feel free to ignore, there's really not much plot just context.
in this one ame botches a manic magic portal ritual and gets decapitated by accident, and his head disappears but his body is still somewhat sentiment? its not particularly intelligent but it still functions (comically). canada takes his body to england (arthur bc this isn't nationverse anymore) to open a proper portal and him and the body then head (haha) into the unknown dimension to retrieve his head.
meanwhile ame (just a head) is found by rus who is a kind of demon entity of that dimension... they have a "humans are lame" plan to find ame another body and make him an entity too, rus claims it's so he has a friend but ame would be more of a servant by magic system rules and would not be able to return home without the other (not that he knows. rus does though). cana plans to turn ame normal. 🤦♂️...
bottom line is, cana (and ame, independently from eachother) squealing like a girl because the demon world is scary, the inherent freakiness of whatever they have going on, iykyk iydyd, ame body walking into walls and ame head carried like a lantern by the scarf and talking to rus. i also like the idea of them somehow messing something up and all three ending up back in the human dimension, except ame is still in two pieces and whatever rus touches visually starts to spiral so they have to go back and fix something. a few more episodes should come after this. ill let you know when i settle on an ending. yay!
Ngl gumball is the type to not fuck around when someone says anything about his gf he's very obsessed with
the tags aren't letting me tell you how gumball literally brought an entire PERSON, probably a dead one of unconscious as a SACRIFICE to a fake cult made by his own teachers and classmates (they didn't take it well)
The compelling thing about Jason as a character is that I never doubted that he cared about the world just because there weren’t panels of him being overly zealous about “restorative community care”
I’m not coming after anyone who wants to see that kind of stuff, but I do think seeking | that | as confirmation that Jason cares about the world is pretty narrow
something about rhaenyra and motherhood, something about the fact she’s the first of the targaryens we know of who’s death at the hands of a dragon she’s explicitly torn apart and eaten. that she died with her surviving child watching who goes onto be known as the dragonbane – the fact sunfyre showed no interest in her at first until they cut her breast. the fact aegon had to be torn from her arms and was made to watch
i think what's been putting me off of digital art for a while is that the way i was doing it just took like too long and was too tedious for my brain to want to focus on so i'm trying out New Ways Of Doing Things that have similar results to my old style (imo) and this is a result of Practice Arting.
anyway here's the guy with the same name as the character from cloudy with a chance of meatballs
one of jacks most pure unadulterated cunt moments was the part in ouroboros where they decapitate Noah, darkly stare at the body as it falls over, and then despondently stumbles over his fresh headless corpse into the other room with the bloody sword still in hand
did an ending of ascended astarion w vengeance shri’iia and I really do want to do a run for this esp with shri’iia bc the regression arc would be so fun to explore I think…! anyway I made her side with the emperor because she has no reason to free orpheus when she’s not in pursuit of her own free will anymore (and others to an extent) and it’s so interesting to me how she’s back to projecting a certain image of herself since she rejected that path of being her most genuine self and returned to how she was before. the comfort of familiarity turning into something so rotten and vile as the centuries pass bc she is forever going to be this static woman! quite literal a ghost of herself since she’s undead now and since - she’s back to disregarding her own self in pursuit of power - she’s given her body up to harleep too so now she doesn’t even belong to herself because her body is harleep’s and’s bound to astarion as creator/spawn. but her oath is reforged again, so her soul feels complete which is the only thing that matters to her - or so she thinks but in this scenario she saw what she could have had, and she’s aware that she can exist outside of her oath but she still clings on it … like that kind <- of conflict within the self so interesting to think about in this scenario bc would that turn to bitterness….or resentment….since the only reason why she’d decide to reclaim her oath again and devote herself to another person (astarion) is to have that sense of familiarity and comfort after being abandoned by ur own goddess and home. like it’s the easy way out definitely but what then?
anyway also so ! funny 👀 and interesting to me bc the high hall hag romance kiss variation was the one where he slaps her on the face and I’m just like ur really slapping her infront all these people!!!!!! and that is so canon to me now I think that’s the start of the Resentment. but then they’ll have their honeymoon phase which lasts for a handful of centuries but as opposed to good end hag romance who becomes this sort of wandering adventurers who travels the world together, bad end hags stay in baldur’s gate taking advantage of the city’s broken state to build astarion’s empire (which will be 👀! relevant much much much much later when shri’iia gone girls him) and they’re making themselves known to the patriars, establishing links and favours, all the saucy political intrigues that shri’iia was familiar with and similar to last time - she’s not a player in the game, only a pawn (and a pretty pawn that can be seen this time!). also like the idea that maybe in the first few centuries shri’iia asks if they can explore the world together bc there’s still a lot she hasn’t seen, and he’s like ok 👍 but never does it, and if she insists, he would tell her he’s too busy or distract her to make her stop asking or tell her straight up that she’s Pestering him which makes the resentment take root hehe. and it’s gonna be this vile rotting thing that’s slowly growing between them and it blooms when he decides to get a new beau because he’s so very bored of her sour face. all of my bad end hag romance hcs are like the opposite of the good end where they stick together bc they want to and they get closer bc they’re being the most genuine versions of themselves and not putting up a facade…!
still thinking about a scenario where the tadcrew denies pax’s request to join them the first two opportunities, they’ll still have a third chance at moonrise depending on how they go about it. if they find him in bath’s hidden room. they’d find him vivisected and quartered on the operating table with a sustained sunlight spell above him to halt his regeneration. notes in the room describing his absolute rampage and slaughter through the compound before being overwhelmed by ketheric & the regrouped true souls still alive. probably attempting to tap into his immortality so they don’t have to solely rely on the nightsong. the crew can disable to spell and drip some of their blood into his mouth to kickstart his healing factor. then step waaaaaay back.
I think one of my favorite things about Prisoner's character is how much his jokes (to himself, because he is isolated and voiceless in a zombie apocalypse) about having no standards betray how much he has standards.
He comments how he should have a moment of silence for a dead prisoner before interrupting his own moment claiming he has better things to do, even though he is the only person who asked, and given the spacing of the comments, does it anyway, even if he kicks the body afterward.
He has several comments about riffling through others' stuff including one that is justifying it to himself because they're all dead, even though he says it's wrong to rummage in what wasn't his, and then later a comment that you "start to like it" and it's a great way to save on money suggesting despite his obvious, consistent, and mostly unrestrained glee at finding new things, he still feels a little guilty about it.
He also gripes at one of the two wells you can find in the Promenade that he's getting tired of crawling into the darkness and the wet.
(the comments about looting are also interesting how little theft Prisoner actually commits on anything alive- you can smash the golden doors or rip off the bank- which even has an achievement for it- or deny the Collector cells by breaking the door, but you notably can't rob the nearly stationary merchants even though they appear to have no way of preventing you from doing so. the implication seems to be Prisoner just refuses to!)
