Phoebe bites back a laugh, a smile tugging at her lips as she sits at her desk. She clasps a hand over her mouth, staring down at the Geometry test in front of her.

"Is something funny, Ms. Spengler?" The teacher asks, having noticed her very obvious reaction.

"No, no, sorry" She quickly replies, composing herself as music plays in her head.

"There is something wrong with you, soulmate. I'm taking a test! I can't focus to Sabrina Carpenter" She thinks, wishing you could hear her. She telepathically sends a song she knows back just for moments like this, subtly rolling her eyes.

Why she even knew Fuck You by Lily Allen was a conversation for another time, but now it blares in your brain, distracting you from your work. You roll your eyes, as you'd deserved this, assuming your soulmate was probably trying to focus on their work.

"Fine, you don't like Nonsense? Take Espresso on repeat" You think, switching up the track halfway through.

Phoebe quietly exhales, switching your song to Better by Khalid, wanting to communicate that this was much better and she could actually focus now. She looks back down at her test, quickly jotting down the pythagorean theorem on her paper.

You take this as your well-deserved apology and smile, kind of wishing she picked a better song. You're able to turn the volume down, and she luckily turns it off so you can focus on whatever you were doing. You didn't ask her to do it, but it was probably the best idea to do so.

You tune into her brain again near the end of the period, where Espresso is still being played on loop. You chuckle.

"She must like it"

You decide to play a song, wanting to be a little detective and figure out who you've been playing around with for six years now. You had a will and a way, who was to say you were cheating love?

What's Your Name by Lynyrd Skynyrd caught Phoebe off guard by a long shot. She realizes that maybe you're asking her a question or are maybe trying to taunt her.

She plays you What's My Name? by Rihanna, trying to show that she caught onto the title but was a bit confused.

You play Yeah! in reply, happy she even answered in the first place. She nods, playing Waiting Room by Phoebe Bridgers.

It takes you a moment but you're able to piece together what her name was, definitely not Waiting Room, but Phoebe. Maybe Bridgers, probably not however.

You play My Name Is... then after about a minute, switch to a song with the same name as you, Y/n.

She plays Get It Sexyy, trying to joke around with you after the big reveal of your name. You smile and giggle as you lean against the bus window. Tyler The Creator's See You Again plays for her as the busses take you home.

You leave her with an accomplished smile to match yours. She'd honestly been too shy to try and ask your name all these years, so now she felt a little proud of you for asking for hers.

"My soulmates name is Y/n. I don't even know a Y/n"

"You don't know anyone"

Podcast and Phoebe sit in Ray's Occult Books, lounging on one of the couches as they talk. Ray is polishing jewelry under the counter, half way listening to their conversation.

"Who do you know that's named Y/n?"

"Y/n Riggs?"

"A funny Y/n," Phoebe clarifies, not wanting to imagine that her soulmate was some asshole. She knew it was just someone with the same name as you. "They're a walking Spotify playlist, Y/n Riggs doesn't have shit for a music taste"

"Y/n L/n?" Podcast asks, "That's the only other Y/n I know of"

"I don't know them" Phoebe sighs

Podcast shrugs, "I can introduce you to them? I have like, three classes with them"

Phoebe nods with a little smile, picking up a book and opening it to hide her excited grin.

"Remind me on Monday"

While you sit in class, Phoebe plays you Fainted Love by Conan Gray, almost like she knew you were just working on an essay in silence. Podcast, who sits next to you in that class, waves to Phoebe as she awkwardly walks into the class.

He'd asked the teacher if she could come down, seeing as she had a study hall at this time, and the class was gifted a free period / study hall for the day.

You didn't know Phoebe at all, well, kind of. She was a Ghostbuster which you'd seen on TV here and there, but you didn't really know her that well. She sits behind Podcast in the empty desk, where he turns around to talk to her for the next half hour.

You hear the two whispering but pay no mind, enjoying the Conan Gray playing in your head. You doodle on the side of your paper the title of the song, giving it a cool little font to fit the vibe of the song, which the curly haired girl sees.

You see in your head, or invision, that Phoebe didn't have any music playing at the moment, and decided to play her a song that you liked. Pink Floyd's Breathe plays in her mind on a low volume, and she can't help but direct her gaze towards you as Podcast speaks to her.

Luckily, just about everyone else in the class was talking loud enough that his soft-spoken voice couldn't be heard, but he made sure to be careful next to you.

Clairo's Hello? plays in your head, catching your attention. You sit up straight in contrast to your half-slumped position before and furrow your eyebrows.

You look over at Podcast and Phoebe, already looking at you. You quickly change Phoebe's song to Is It Really You? by Loathe, and she lightly smiles, the corners of her lips slowly turning upwards.

You awkwardly smile and wave at her as she returns the wave while Podcast next to her smiles widely, wanting to cheer loudly, but obviously doesn't in the small classroom. You can see the look of adoration in her eyes as she looks at you, her eyes glimmering like she fell in love at first sight.

A song plays in both of your heads, not instructed by either of you, Something New by Tokio Hotel.

Podcast giggles, tapping Phoebe's desk twice. "I'm gonna run to the cafeteria and get a drink, have fun, lovebirds"

As he walks away, Phoebe speaks. "I'm Phoebe, I think I'm your soulmate"

L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)

Despite Alan Scott being the GL I've read the most stories about (usually JSA stuff) I actually haven't gone deep into his lore and backstory and such. Heck, in terms of the GA, Flash, and Wildcat trio Jay and Ted have literally been my blorbos since childhood while I never really cared for Alan that much.

That being said, I really think the choice to have him come out as gay opens a whole slew of interesting storytelling possibilities. Like, I'd really really really love a story that explored his life as a closeted gay man living in the 40s and as well as his perspective of the progress made during the post-war era.

Also that scene where Alan comes out to his kids just made my heart so warm :)

Ever since I watched the Stargirl show my gremlin brain began thinking of ways Jesse Chambers could be reimagined as a teenage hero and what I got is an AU where Jesse is a teenage runaway roaming America with only super strength and a lil superspeed to protect her.

Like... for the first few years of her life she lives happily under the care of her parents. Johnny and Libby being golden age heroes themselves, they make sure to give Jesse a mostly normal life, even when she begins showing signs of her mother's strength.

But one night when Jesse is eight, the Chambers-Lawrence household is attacked by Baron Blitzkrieg, an enemy Johnny and Libby had made in their superhero days. The couple ultimately meet their end protecting their daughter and the Baron manages to get away with it all.

Jesse grows up in a foster home while not getting the therapy she very much needs after such a traumatizing event. When she's a teenager she stumbles upon a notebook that her foster father hid from her written in Johnny Chambers' handwriting, of which details the mystery behind Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle's powers, as well as old notes about the enemies the duo had made over the years.

The discovery of the notebook is enough to motivate Jesse to run away and begin a one-woman quest to track down the Baron and enact her revenge.

On the way she meets some old friends of her parents like Jay Garrick, the Tyler family, and Ted Grant, and maybe she even puts on the Liberty Belle suit bc its impossible to write a JSA story without some acknowledgement of legacy.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

Not to be a BartRose shipper on main but I always like to believe that they have had feelings for one another throughout their time on the Titans. Whether or not either parties would ever act on said feelings is up for debate.

Just... just let me have the idea that Bart and Rose are just two people who've known each other since they started doing superhero stuff and have a unique kind of relationship because of it.

I feel like some aspects of fandom was a lil too obsessed with 'top' and 'bottom' hcs like it's the only thing one should think about when discussing character dynamics and sometimes that annoys me.

I tend to enjoy it when people talk about the little quirks they headcanon for characters, like what someone's fave food or fave genre of music is. Sometimes I just like knowing what a character snacks on when they're working or thinking.

sokka LOVES texting you randomly in the middle of the night and being like “wanna go for a drive?” he’ll pick you up and drive around, listening to music, goofing around. he always stops at the 24 hour fast food place to get you something to eat :)

B- Beginnings (How do they act in the beginning of a relationship)

this kid was obsessed with you from the moment you started dating. he was very clingy, but knew your boundaries. he’d always send you cute paragraphs saying how happy he was to have you as a significant other, and always made attempts to hang out any chance he could.

C- Communication (Are they good communicators? How do they normally talk about their problems or solve issues)

sokka would be a good communicator for the most part. he’s very open and outspoken, and very willing to talk out an issue. sometimes he can be a little stubborn depending on what happened, but he’s usually always good at communicating with you.

D- Drunk (What are they like when they’re drunk)

sokka would be a very loving and loud drunk. he’d be very handsy (& respectful) with you and wouldn’t hesitate to let everyone know how much he loves you.

when it comes to emergencies, sokka would be very panicked. he’d freak out and try to do anything he can to help, especially when it involves you getting hurt

he loves giving you fun fuzzy socks amongst other gifts. but he always needs to get you some fuzzy socks as a little side present. and when it comes to getting sokka gifts? that boy loves getting edible gifts and clothes lmao

sokka is literally always clinging to you when you’re okay with it. he loves being big spoon, but LOVES being little spoon.

I- Irritation (What is something that irritates them? How do they show their irritation?)

he gets very grumpy when he’s hungry. he’ll normally just pout and complain until he’s fed

J- Jackpot (How would they spend their winnings if they won the lottery?)

he’d definitely take you and himself on a shopping spree. and he’d get a pool if he can

K- Kryptonite (What is their ultimate weakness?)

his ultimate weakness is seeing you cry or hurt. it literally kills him and he’ll do anything he can to make it better

L- Laughter (What makes them laugh?)

let’s just say he’s VERY ticklish. the tickle monster pays many visits to tease him

M- Morning ( How do they wake up in the morning? Are they a morning person or a morning grouch?)

sokka is very grouchy in the morning. he’ll whine and moan and hide under the covers when you tell him it’s time to get up

N- Needy (When do they feel particularly needy? How do they show it?)

sokka feels particularly needy when he’s sleepy before bed. he’ll cling onto you and get super whiny and cuddle the hell out of you

O- Oasis (Where is their happy place? Where would they go if they didn’t have anything holding them back?)

his happy place is definitely anywhere with you. his favorite place is the living room, where he can sit on the couch with you, eat snacks, joke around, and watch netflix.

P- Pain (How do they handle pain? How do they handle when you are in pain?)

he can get pretty tough when it comes to pain, but when you’re around, he’ll act like a little baby and beg you to “kiss it better.” he doesn’t handle you being in pain well though at all. he freaks out and panics.

Q- Quote (What’s a quote that fits them and your relationship)

“can i get a kiss? and can you make it last forever” literally the entirety of see you again by tyler, the creator. that kid is so in love with you

R- Reunion (How do they celebrate seeing you after a long time of being apart)

sokka will give you the biggest hug and shower you in kisses. then, he’ll take you out to a celebratory dinner

S- Stress (What stresses them out? How do deal with stress and how do they relieve it?)

he stressed a lot over work or school work. he’s a perfectionist. to help deal with stress, he’ll ask you to help him anyway you can, like helping him study or bringing him a snack

T- Terror (What are they afraid of?)

his biggest fear is losing you. whether it’s breaking up or something happening to you

U- Unique (What is a quirk that is unique to them?)

he’s a minecraft god. that kid can sit and play for hours straight. and of course you play with him. you always jokingly break your bed next to his and move it to another room as a way to retaliate when he does something to mess with you.

V- Violence (Do they fight a lot? Are they a good fighter? What is their fighting style?)

sokka only turns to physical fighting in serious situations, like something that concerns you or his friends. he can be a pretty good fighter when his competitor is around the same size as him, but when theyre bigger, he struggles.

W- Wow (What do you do that really surprises them? What do you do that they really like?)

you always pick up food for sokka to surprise him when he’s in a bad mood or just to be nice. he absolutely loves it

X- (Explicit headcanon. For all you degenerates)

Y- Yucky (Is there something that grosses them out so badly that they can’t deal with it?)

he hates finding your hair in the shower or in the sink. it grosses him out so bad

Z- ZZZ’s (What are their sleeping habits? Both with and without you)

that kid sleeps like a log. he normally goes to bed pretty late and if he can, he’ll sleep into the afternoon, with and without you there. you normally have to force him out of bed

I could never do anything to harm her” Dylan says and all the eyes are on him but he doesn’t hesitate “I love your sister and I’ll take care of her with my heart. I get that hockey players usually suck but I promise you guys I’m not like them”

“Do you have a little sister?” your dad asks him and Dylan smiles.

“No but I have brothers and I would kill anyone who breaks their hearts or tries to hurt them” he answers and your brothers look at each other for a few seconds.

“Well, you are the first one she brings home so I guess that’s a sign that you’re not an asshole” the younger of the trio says and your mom scoffs.

“Language, honey! Dylan’s a guest” she says and he gives her a smirk.

“If he wants to be a part of our family then he better get used to our bad manners, mom” with this sentence, you let your breath out. They accept him.

“And I’m used to it, Mrs. Y/L/N. Hockey players are not known for their politeness” your boyfriend says making your dad laugh out loud. Dylan gives you the biggest smile and you feel your heart get warmer.

“You’re totally right, kid. Tell us some locker room stories” your dad asks and and that’s the moment you know they’ve all accepted him.

If you needed any confirmation, the loud laughs and shared stories between your family and your boyfriend throughout the night is a big green and shiny sign that everything Dylan said and did was right. You already knew he’d be fine but your bothers are not always easy to deal with so you were a little nervous.

“See? It wasn’t bad at all!” you say as you two walk into his apartment.

“Are you kidding me? Every question they shot at me I was dying inside” your boyfriend answers as he takes his jacket off.

Why do you think the show is getting so much hate? I mean we know that the CW is far from good, but I think Tyler does a great job as Clark/Superman.// I had read a lot of much about the new show on Twitter. There are some who are not enthusiastic about his role as Superman and the story that was announced. Also many don't like Lois acting and think that this show ruins the whole story of Superman because they all see Henry Cavill as superman and think that a show is unnecessary.

Yep. It is mostly HC fans because they refuse to give anyone else a chance, even if that person is better in the role than he is they'll stick to their opinion that HC is better than everyone else, and they're dicks to anyone who isn't HC. When you ask them for a genuine reason why they hate Tyler so much, they either can't come up with one (he's not HC, so they just hate him on principle) or it's that he isn't as big as HC. If Tyler were as huge as him, they would lose their one reason to not give him a chance because they haven't even ever seen even one scene that Tyler has done, they base their pathetic hatred on photos alone. Even Smallville fans are hating on it because it's not the Lois and Clark they want to see. 😑

I don't think anyone has high exceptations of S&L because the CW shows can be really bad, even fans of the shows can admit that, but to make such harsh judgments before they have even seen one scene is ridiculous. Tyler and Bitsie will have a lot more screen time than we've seen in their past appearances, so they'll get the chance to improve and really show what they can do, if the writing's good. So they shouldn't be judged until at least a few episodes in.

THis was originally written as hcs but I re-did it as a fic since they were vv specific so i’m sorry if it’s all a bit choppy.

 Ethan was getting tired of all of it. Lying to his parents, claiming he kept getting these bruises and scars from over working himself at practice. Not being able to tell any girls on the cheer team that their boyfriends and brothers were kicking his ass every other day after practice. The swirlies. The homophobic slurs. Tyler.

 It made him almost cry, but he couldn’t. Tyler told him so.

  “If you break down, it means they’ve won.” Tyler said one time. It sucked, the fact that Tyler couldn’t really do anything since he’s at the top of the social hierarchy at school. Ethan could be at the top of he was girl. But no, he’s just the faggot that occasionally holds hands with the co-captain of the football team.

 Today was no different from every other day. After a successful practice, Ethan saw many of the guys on the football team sneering and glaring at him from the bleachers where they pretended to wait for their girlfriends and whatnot.

  “Hey, Ethan, want to stay at my house tonight? We’re going to watch Fifty Shades and stuff ourselves with pizza,” Amy, co-captain of the cheer squad, said. Ethan was about to reply when Mark, captain of the football team, appeared and wrapped his arm around his girlfriend.

 Ethan walked to the locker room, looking behind him in fear of someone cornering him. He heard their little taunts at a distance and Ethan broke into a run. Once he reached the locker room, he shut the door behind him, panting as he stared at the wood. A pair of arms wrapped around him and he jumped.

 ��“Don’t get thrown off the team just because you think i’m hot doing flips,” Ethan said, laughing.

  “Yeah, Tyler, don’t get too distracted or I might hold you back for tomorrow’s game.” Mark sneered, as he and three other boys from the team appeared and cornered them. Tyler let out a breath. He stood in front of Ethan and crossed his arms over his chest.

  “You’d only be screwing yourself over if you pulled me out of the game,” Tyler replied, emotion devoid from his tone.

  “Actually, that’s not true. Now that Wade can throw better, I don’t actually need you. But if you do want to play and get a scholarship, I suggest you move out of the way and pretend like we’re not here.” Mark replied, his bitterness laced with malice. Tyler looked down at Mark who scoffed. He motioned his chin toward Tyler and two boys grabbed Tyler and pulled him away. Tyler shouted at Mark as the other athlete took hold of Ethan and held him in front of Mark.

  “Mark! Don’t you fucking touch a hair on his head!” Tyler shouted, struggling against the others’ grip.

  “Now, what do we have here,” Mark said, rubbing his hands together.

  “You know, it’d be a shame if Amy found out how much of a fucking dick her boyfriend really was. Or even worse, her parents.” 

 Wrong choice of words as Mark swung his fist, nailing Ethan in the jaw. Ethan kept his stare at the ground until Mark forced him to look back at him.

  “You know, it’d be a shame if I were to break your fucking arm right before you headed off to nationals,” Mark snapped, spit flying in Ethan’s face.

  “Oh please, there are plenty of back-up routines in case you did break my arm,” Ethan replied. Mark striked his arm with his elbow. It wasn’t broken, but holy hell did it feel like it might if he did it again.

  “Shut up, faggot.” Mark turned around and saw Tyler’s furious face that glared right at him. “And as for you, I bet you’d want anything more than for me to hurt you. But I’m not stupid. I know you’d rat on me the second I leave so much as a bruise on you.”

 Mark turned around and pointed at Ethan.

  “But him? You’ve got nothing on me if I leave him a paralyzed mess.”

 Tyler growled and spit at one of the boys holding him. Tyler swung his free arm at Mark and missed. He was now pinned to the ground.

  “Really? You want to take a swing at Ethan too? Well by all means,” Mark sneered as he stepped away and let the others let him go. Tyler scrambled over and looked at Ethan. His temple would e slightly swollen and he definitely had blood in his mouth.

  “Are you okay?” Tyler whispered, looking at Ethan with concern. He nodded.

  “Tell you what, Tyler. You have to give Ethan as many hits as it takes for us to be satisfied. But you have to go all out,” Mark said, an evil smirk on his face.

  “Like hell I would.”

  “Or, I can tell mommy and daddy Scheid that baby Scheid is a little queer, and we can’t have that now can we?”

 The color drained from Tyler’s face. Mark got him.

 Tyler stood, looking at Ethan who gave him pleading eyes. His face hardened. Ethan nodded his head slowly as he shut his eyes tight.

 Tyler looked back at Mark angrily who simply smiled and motioned for him to go on. Tyler looked back at Ethan, his own boyfriend. He swung his fist, holding back into Ethan’s gut. 

  “Harder.”

 Tyler swung again, with just a little bit more gusto.

  “Harder.”

 Another swing. This time, Ethan coughed up blood onto the tiled floor.

  “Jesus christ Tyler. You have one last shot and if you don’t leave him a crying mess I’ll kick his gay ass my self and leave him hanging off the flag pole.”

 Tyler looked at Ethan, he could see the fear in his eyes. Another nod from the cheerleader left Tyler regretting his next movement. He threw his fist as hard as he felt he could into Ethan’s chest, creating a loud shout of pain. Tears slipped from his eyes. Mark nodded his head and the others left the locker room.

 Tyler sat next to Ethan, holding him there as he cried quietly.

  “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.” Tyler whispered, shaking. Ethan looed at Tyler and shook his head.

  “I’m fine..” Ethan croaked. Tyler shook his head. This was on him. All of it. HE felt bitter. disgusted with himself.

  “I’m taking you home.” Tyler whispered, Ethan grabbed his wrist, weakly, but he held it there.

  “I need to go to Amy’s. J-just… take me with you. M-my parent’s can’t see me l-like this,” Ethan whispered. It sounded like a plea. Tyler nodded his head and carried Ethan bridal style out of the locker room and to his car. They drove off, reaching Tyler’s house he sees Ethan is curled up in a ball in the backseat. Tyler sits in his truck, leaning his head on the steering wheel, shaking from how angry he was. He slammed the steering wheel multiple times before eventually punching his window, a small crack being result. Tyler couldn’t even care about the pain. All he felt was Ethan’s.

 All he felt was Ethan’s pain.
